1. Written for my creative writing class. Take it for what it is. [pindent=1]"We heard what you said."[/pindent] [pindent=1]The girl being spoken to looks up at the one doing the speaking.[/pindent] [pindent=1]"We heard what you told Ms. Fesser."[/pindent] [pindent=1]The girl just sits there in the pale, dusty dirt under the maple tree, looking at the three who have gathered around her. She sits there in silence, staring at the three girls. She is worrying.[/pindent] [pindent=1]"What... what are you talking about?" she asks.[/pindent] [pindent=1]"You know exactly what we're talking about, Scout," says one of the girls.[/pindent] [pindent=1]She does. She remembers every single word that she said. The intonation, the pauses, the gesticulation. She knows exactly what they are talking about.[/pindent] [pindent=1]"We heard what you said, and you're not going to get away with it," said the taller of the three girls, glaring at Scout.[/pindent] [pindent=1]Scout knows what this means. She knows what is in store. It's not as if she had lied; it was the opposite, in fact. She had told the truth. Truth or not, however, she was uneasy. Sarah always made her uneasy. Sarah and Alanna and Anita. She doesn?t like those three.[/pindent] [pindent=1]This isn't the first time this has happened. Scout tells on Sarah, Sarah gets mad, Sarah spreads rumors. This is why Scout sits alone under the maple tree during recess. It's just that this time it is going to be a whole lot worse. Scout knows this. She knows it's going to be far more than rumors. She doesn't like this.[/pindent] Feedback, please.
2. Everyone knows that I'm a bot. Why else would all my posts completely lack emotion?
3. 8? Maybe?
4. There's a typo in the title. It's supposed to be "St. Get-Completely-Drunk-Off-Your-Arse Day."
5. I got the album on the 24th. Legally, of course. With money. You know... a friendly, legitimate transaction. Definitely didn't download it. But in all honesty, as soon as it comes out in the states, I plan on actually buying a physical copy. The Prodigy are one of the few groups that I actually support financially. I agree with you about their sound on this album. It's pretty much Experience with guitars (rave punk). Every album they release sounds as if it could have come from a completely different group, yet it still has that classic Prodigy sound, and that's what I love about them.
6. ...that things have really slowed down a lot on OB? Why is this? Do people have lives now? Or have they just moved on to newer, shinier forums? If you don't know, then just making something up, because it's fun.
7. So, after five years, The Prodigy have finally released another album. It's about time. So, who's heard it? Who wants to hear it? Who cares? Etc...?
8. I like candy, bubblegum, and taffy... Actually, candy was cool when I was six, but now, it's pretty lame. It doesn't appeal to me at all.
9.
I was hoping somebody would take the bait.
My Ackbar senses were tingling, but I went for it anyway.
10.
I generally only correct someone's grammar to annoy them. Other then that, I don't care. There's no such thing as an objective language anyway. But it is especially fun to correct a Grammar Nazi. Me and my friends do it all the time.
11.
That's not entirely the reason. See, most boys irritate me to no end. Thus, I dislike them. A lot. I'm sure my opinion will change eventually, but for now, I DON'T LIKE THEM. And I wish people would get off my back about it.:animesigh
Sweeping generalizations are fun.
12. Grammar is like art. If you know the rules, you're allowed to break them.
13. I know. I'd rather watch something more thought-provoking and worthwhile, like anime. [/thingsthataren'ttrueatall]

15. I'm on another forum that does that. If people find your post helpful/good/whatever, they add to your status. It's very useful in helping to distinguish between members who believe in post quality rather than quantity.
GWAH!!!:o I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE!!! Mark my words, I will attain the "Senior Member" title!!!:smirk:
17. I think it'd be cool if all the submissions for the graphic worm were current events-related, that way at the end, it'll be like a retrospective on the year. Just a thought.
18. I changed a pixel. Maybe two. We can't be certain.
19. Although my signature is a slightly different version than the one I last submitted, I'm not going to fight it. And Mr. Blonde, it is clearly Stanley Kubrick's sci-fi classic, A Clockwork Orange. Gimme.
20. Sometimes, late at night, I get all nostalgic. So I fix some hot ol' cocoa, put some ol' Bing Crosby on the ol' record player, and flip through the ol' photo album. I just sit there (by the ol' fire) and reminisce about the good ol' days on ol' Group Sounds. Those were the days. I also visit idmforums.com ol'
21. I am the even number ten.
22. So whatever happened to Group Sounds? Or am I just stupid?
23. Hu Ying (aka A Fist Full of Talons) Early 80's Hong Kong cinema... ...at its finest. This next one isn't a B movie. Or even a C or D movie at that. There aren't enough letters to rate just how low this movie is. As a matter of fact, I've yet to see a movie worse than this one. The movie, of course, being Max Magician and the Legend of the Rings. That being said, it is so absolutely terrible a movie (at its finest), that it is ridiculously funny. Dare I say... genius? No. I don't dare.
24.
That's probably the most false thing I've ever read on OB.
Really? Really? I don't expect a gold star or anything, but I do expect a lot of people to completely blow off Whoa, Mann's post (which has thus far been the most accurate in the thread), because a lot of people care more about getting their own two cents in, rather than about what has already been said. Back on topic:
To be as nice as possible about this subject... I think that anybody that calls themselves emo, first off, is just ****ing stupid. This is my opinion of course. Why? Because most of these kids don't even know what emo is. Emo (Emotive Hardcore, Screamo, Emocore, etc.) started out as a genre of punk music that came from hardcore. This was in the 80s. This style of music was chaotic. This style of music had nothing to do with the fashion. Nothing to do with cutting yourself (Unless a band had for some reason actually wrote a song about it), but the name Emo is just short for emotional hardcore. ...Sigh. No one would ever listen to somebody like me, of course. But my question to you is, how can you all of a sudden start calling yourself a genre of music? How is that even possible? And two, the fashion is actually called scene. I'm completely okay with the fashion, since I do take some aspects of it, and put them into my own personal fashion statements, ha. Scene kids not only wear the clothes, but have to act a certain way (like glamour robots, that is) to be classified as scene kids. Understood? Still not emo. Anyway, if you really have nothing better in your life to do than to cut yourself, or even just call yourself emo.... Maybe you should stop conforming to that weird view of "being different", and start acting like a mature teenager that doesn't need labels. And also, get a girlfriend or something... losers...
Yes, I agree! click
25.
...Sigh. No one would ever listen to somebody like me, of course.[/COLOR']
Speaking from experience, whenever an intelligent, logical, and factually accurate post is made, the vast majority of people will not only completely skip over it, as if it had never been said, but they will also continue to post in antithesis to it, almost out of spite.
