Secondly, the Xbox IS essentially a stripped-down PC. Now, that isn't necessarily a statement designed to bash the Xbox. But the fact does remain that the Xbox is the most "PC-like" of any current generation console, particularly in a technical/hardware sense. There is a difference between a newly-developing bunch of cells and a fully-formed human child. :) And yes, the baby could end up having the family to depend on etc etc...but sometimes the unborn baby is better off not being born. Especially in a situation whereby the parents are unable to look after the child, or if the child has some sort of genetic condition. And I don't agree with a woman aborting just because she had casual sex and behaved foolishly. But if the woman were very young (say 15/16) then in that situation, I may support the idea. All of these things are life...and the hair lice is a parasite. Why should human cells be classed differently than the cells of other organisms? Of course, if you took a born child and murdered it...that would be very different (or if the baby was almost fully developed). But before the baby is technically a human being (first trimester), it's really a case of apples and oranges, so to speak. You're talking about a living thing, yes...but you have to draw a definition. People also talk about "potential life". But how far can this concept go? I mean, a man and a woman passing each other in the street could even be considered "potential life" or "a baby waiting to happen". As you can see...it all gets a bit ridiculous when you think about it. And I'm sure that a woman who's just found out she's pregnant...and who has either suffered rape or who is pretty ill due to pregnancy would not appreciate you telling her that she isn't allowed to make a choice about her own body. :)[/color]

Everyone here would understand that Nintendo keeps its ideas close to its chest - this is the secret of a successful gaming company. You should read up more on Nintendo so that you have a better understanding of how the company operates. Unless you're a shareholder, you don't need to know what's going on. :) Nintendo releases information when it feels that the information is accurate and when the game previews themselves are in a playable state. She basically pointed out that a baby (whether living/not living) is still essentially a parasitic creature, which relies on its "host" (the mother). Therefore, it is the host which has the right to decide the outcome of the situation. Childbirth can be dangerous for both mother and baby -- but baby can often have a much more difficult time trying to survive. While I'm against abortion in principle, I also understand that as the host, it is the mother's right to decide whether or not she wishes to allow the parasite to live or die. I don't use the word parasite in a bad way -- I'm using it as a technical term. Therefore, it must always be the mother's choice. Even if another man or woman disagrees -- it's just not their business. It's like piercings or something...they are often unhealthy and some people feel that they're ugly, but the person who uses them has the right to decide how they use their own body. Perhaps that's not the best example when it comes to comparing something with abortion, but I do feel that parallels can be drawn in the sense that a woman's body is her own and nobody else's.[/color]
