James replied to Will2x's topic in General Discussion
Originally posted by Will2x 4 and a half inches....to 7? how, i heard if you play with yourself alot it gets it bigger. and yes size does matter for guys and gals. say the guys rockin a 9 incher. but the chick is 4 inches deep (O_O) nuff said.
Okay, I'm gone for a little while and this is what happens? Will, I warned you that this topic was fine as long as it didn't get too explicit/dirty lol. I think this is going just a little far. You've had your fun, time to close the topic I think. I can't believe you actually asked "How do you have sex?" and mentioned to take time to include the instructions. That's going way too far, you've had a few hundred responses fo far...I think that's more than enough. :) -
Originally posted by hot head one of my bb's asked out this hot grul i liked what should i do (i dont want to kill my friend)
Well uh...he asked out a girl you like, but you didn't ask her out yet did you? So even though he might know you like her...and perhaps that's a kind of dirty thing for him to do, it's not like you have your name tattooed to her butt. lol I mean, as has been said here...girls are not property. They are to be respected at all times. And therefore, if he has asked her out before you...well...that's just bad luck I'm afraid. If he'd asked out your girlfriend well...that'd be grounds to end the friendship with him. But if this girl isn't going out with you...then technically, he can do what he likes. It does suck, but he got there first. So I guess you'll have to look for another girl to ask out.
Originally posted by Krillen Ok im a big fan of nintendo and have never had a ps1 or 2, im thinking of getting a ps2 for gameplay and dvd, but im devoted to gamecube, my bro wants ps2 and im in an awkward situation right now, help me?
I own a PS2. And I want a GameCube more than ever lol. I would say: let your brother get a PS2 and you get a GameCube. If you can only get one system, I'd stick with GameCube. Why? Simple -- for the price you pay for a GameCube, you can have enough money over to buy a memory card, game and a second controller...whereas with a PS2, you might only be able to purchase the console, memory card and a game (if that). The PS2 is going to have some great software, such as Final Fantasy X/XI/XII and Metal Gear Solid 2. Whereas GameCube will have games like Zelda, Super Mario, Pikmin etc... I personally think I'm going to enjoy GameCube more. I especially want to play Animal Forest + ...it's really innovative and unique. And I really want Pikmin. A friend of mine played the game at a Cube Club and said he loved it. He really wants it now. Your best bet is to go and play some GameCube at one of Nintendo's Cube Clubs (if you can get to one). That way, you can see for yourself if you like it. Cube Clubs are totally free. You can get a free ticket at www.nintendogamecube.com Going hands on with GameCube might sway yourself and your brother :)
Originally posted by Sephiroth omg, that would like be the best RPG of all time! lets hope the ff7 remake on the ps2 is like that....
Yep... I'm really looking foward to Final Fantasy X. I have no idea when it comes out in Australia (especially since the American launch is in early 2002 I think...), but I really can't wait. X's visual style is more like FFVIII. But I didn't mind VIII's style. It was more artistic than VII's dark/gritty art style. Final Fantasy X's battle system looks like it's going to be better than the old job system, and better than the system found in IX. It's more flexible and comprehensive. And the ability to switch to characters who are outside your direct party is a huge plus.
Originally posted by Sephiroth I don't live in australia, but I can see you with my VERY large telescope, muahaha.... btw James, I see you changed your avatar again :p
Yep...you know I can never be happy with a single avatar for very long hehe. This one's a placeholder though -- 'till I find a better one ;)

Sorry, but we'd had a bazillion topics like this so far...at least three that I can think of. If you really want to know where everyone is from, I advise you to scroll back through the pages of General Discussion to find the topic you are looking for. All the info is there waiting for you; no need to rehash the same stuff. By the way, if you want Australian members, I know that Warlock also lives here. He only lives about 15 minutes away from me. :)
Originally posted by kuja but 7 nor 8 were fantasy i mean come on... EVERYONE has played them, they made it so u didnt need to look up anything to play that game... was way to easy to do :(
Are you serious? Final Fantasy IX was so easy...and the story was utter tripe. Even though I loved the battle system and the visual style, FFIX was easily the least interesting FF game in terms of story. Final Fantasy VI had the best story. It was deep, twisting...and it really sucked me in. I loved every minute of it. Final Fantasy VIII's story was so so. IX's story was probably better than VIII. However, if you'd combined FFVII's clever story with FFIX's battle/graphic styles...well, then you'd have a true next gen Final Fantasy game :)

I'm amazed -- I'm not on here nearly as much as some of the members here... I am always shocked at how people can spend five or six hours browsing the boards... Oh well.
Originally posted by DeathKnight i like moby's classical-techno songs, Bittersweet Symphony... thats my favorite....
Yep...my absolute favourite style of music is neo-classical. If you want a great neo-classical track, listen to "Finished Symphony" by Hybrid. I guarantee you'll love it. I also really like Porcelain by Moby...it's a great song. Bittersweet Symphony is okay, but there is a techno remix of that song which takes out the vocals, and which keeps the violin. It's awesome...but I can't remember the name of the artist. I know that the remix is called "Waterwave". But I have no idea who the artist is...if I find out, I'll tell you. BabyGirl: Yep...I think it's spelled "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" ..but I could be wrong. I think it's by Vivaldi. It's great :)
Originally posted by BabyGirl James, you have just won the award for the greatest early-90s word I have heard in a long time. Congratulations.
lol...that most is more proof that if people can be creative, they don't need to swear on these boards :D
Originally posted by mornigndew You like to listen to broken heart type of music. Give something new a try
If you want something uplifting, I recommend Flaming June by BT. It's a great track :) Failing that, I would suggest any kind of classical music...some of it can be very inspirational. I use it sometimes when I need to think of ideas or when I am trying to design something.
Originally posted by Majin Gohan I think anybody from v.1 still feels like they're more a part of it. I know I feel that way. Of course I was always bickering with SSJGoten back then and now that I'm not I feel much happier here. I'm sure you remember it
I think I preferred Version 2.0 more than Version 1.0. We had more members then...we were growing...and we had some great regular posters. I'm not sure how I feel about Version 3.0 yet... We haven't had much time online so far, and since we relaunched, we've had hiccups in the form of a string of idiotic members joining...(thus, the decision to limit some of the "dumber" threads). However, I'm optimistic. Things are improving around here...the quality is growing, and we've rid ourselves of most of the more annoying members (thimoc, for example). So Version 3.0 has the potential to be the best :)
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Well, I don't know, but whenever it does, it will be way before it comes out here in Australia. And I might be out-of-date, but to tell you the truth, I want Super Mario World 2 for SNES. Anyone know where to get it?
We will be getting GameCube at the same time as the UK; in March 2002. If you want Super Mario World 2 for SNES...well...I have it lol. I'll sell it to you for a premium price ;) hehe Try going to somewhere like Video Games Heaven -- they have second hand copies of games. (Note to Kuja, he meant Super Mario WORLD 2, not Super Mario Bros. 2. You know...Yoshi's Island. :))
Originally posted by VP-Master Then why would IGN have a preview for the PSX version then? O and it's not only coming out for PS2, PSX, Gamecube, and Xbox. There will also be a GBA, GBC, and PC versions. There was a press release stating exactly that.
Yeah, PSX is getting THPS3, but it won't be the same version as what you get on the PlayStation 2 and other next generation consoles. If you want the true THPS3, you'd have to buy it on one of those machines. The PlayStation version is watered down significantly

He's had small cancers about 20 times throughout his life...but each time it makes him weaker. I think he only has a couple of weeks left. We'll be visiting him this weekend...
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve i know a few people that have it that say it's great...i don't think I'll be adding it... I have too much expensive hardware and software that probably won't work with it.
One of the main benefits of Windows XP is that it will work with all that fancy software/hardware (much moreso than Win9x anyway). I haven't got it yet, but I shall be getting it this Friday. A friend of mine has it and loves it...it has so many long-needed features and fixes...it's great. :)

Also, you can't post announcements like normal posts...they're a pain to create. This topic is fine -- it fits well within our site rules. And I thought it would be a nice gesture for Ginny.

Seriously though, I feel that Ginny deserves her new role here. I had a feeling that people would be happy about this news. :)

I would like to take this opportunity to announce that Ginny Lyn has made a return to OtakuBoards.com.
