And secondly, because, as he said in his above topic, we don't necessarily want to start too much argument and bring about too many painful memories for people. It's okay to discuss these sensitive things a bit. But if we keep rehashing them, it's no good. Transtic Nerve is not religious, yet he didn't delete the religion topic. So I think that shows that he wouldn't do it because of his belief.[/color]

As Transtic Nerve stated in the above sticky thread, we are receiving an overload of "war" topics. A few is more than enough. We have a couple of old ones that were going strong and then people lost interest. End of topic. But instead we get people starting more and more war topics. It's the same with any other kind of topic you care to mention. Repetition of topics does nothing but clog up the boards. Rather, you should have confined all your thoughts on war in the older "war" thread.[/color]

The homosexuality debate was originally started in the religion topic. I felt that the discussion there was, for the most part, very fair. That is where it should have been continued. It was inappropriate to rehash an essentially old debate with a new topic. If you wish to post your original post from that new thread in the religion topic, then that's okay. But we've had this debate so many times, there have been many topics about it. That is why it was closed. We don't want to clog up General Discussion with rehashed stuff. Having said that, your post was very good, even if it was laced with a lot of religious rhetoric, it was still quite a good read.[/color]

So in a way, it kind of makes you feel like you can't be bothered trusting someone. He was in a very bad way...he broke his neck...broke his arm and leg...and suffered a lot of internal damage. However, luckily, he lived. Although his right hand is paralyzed...so he's never been quite the same since. He is truly a lucky man. And after his experience and yours...I don't think I'll ever ride on a motorbike.[/color]
