But you are going to get a lot of good cards. Just the ones released in MRD or LOB won't be in there. You will get good ones however. I find it odd that UD is not going to put Red-Eyes in the Joey Starter. But it will contain Jinzo, Garoozis, Copycat, etc. Pegasus will probably have all the MRL toons and hopefully if the info is correct we can fianlly see some Toon Gemini Elves!

Everyone wants Polymerization don't they? Well all we have to do is wait until March when the new starters come out right? Wrong. The starters will not contain Polymerization, nor any card in the decks, except those released in MRL and PSV. Although the new cards that havn't bee released at all (The completley new one) will be in there. So basically all the stuff you wanted in the starters won't be there, unless they have been released in MRL or PSV or in the batch of new cards. Forget Red-Eyes and Raigeki.. Upperdeck is starting to really bug me. But on the other hand, two more sets will be released! After, Labirynth of Nightmare. The schedule for new sets is every three months. I hope it won't be consistant. Legacy of Darkness - Well thats a name that hasn't been mentioned in Japan. Completely new name, but everyone assumes with high probability that it will contain the sets of Struggle of Chaos and Mythological Age. >>Released in March along with starters. Pharonic Guardian - This is not an original name. It will contain the sets of Pharonic Guradian (Of course) and 301: New Ruler (Catching up to Japanese players). >>Released in June I'd also like to point out about a new ruling UD has made. Promos are now tournament legal. Beware the MetalMorphs and Acid Trap Holes. Good luck to those tourny duelists! The World Championship is going to be held in New York. Madison Square Garden is a rumored area.

Anime Nice timing UD...The Perfect (Late) Holiday Gift!
Hyper replied to Hyper's topic in Otaku Central
See the advantages of reprinting LOB? More happy customers. :) You're able to get cards you've never gotten before:) -
OB is a wondeful place! A nice, clean forum with a great staff. I've been to a few other forums where they have like 20,000 members, but such a un-staffable place. (I hope that's a word..) Sure they have a staff, but what is so crazy is that there are no censors (Without the OB sensors, it would still be pretty clean) and there are TONS of flame wars going on. Everyone plays mod and swears, and I find that the staff does nothing. I have a hard time reading the posts there. And often times I see threads closed wihtout any reason. And people bombard you with IM's offering to sell you stuff (Partly your fault if you decide to let people see it). Over here having acess to peple's IM Screennames help makes new friends! OB is the role-modle for all other message boards. People shoudl realize that.

To Dark Knight: Well a theme is what makes a deck a deck. Usually people go for beatdowns, by combining Kaiba and Yugi starters. Fist, be sure you have all of the Big Five magic cards, those which belong in everydeck. -Raigeki -Pot of Greed -Dark Hole -Monster Reborn -Change of Heart You have three of them, but you'll need to get the others for the full potential of magic cards. Always replace Remove trap and De-spell with Mystical Space Typhoons. Two is a good number. They're much more reliable than the others, and being Quick-plays are helpful. Remove Trap and De-spell = Mystical Space Typhoon Dump the Yami. Those field cards take up space. The new MRL ones are much better. But I wouldn't use those either because they don't work to will for F/S Beatdowns. (That's the theme you'll most likely want to use; It's fast and powerful) Beatdowns rely on power-ups to reach there full potential. So naturally, Axe of Despairs are necessary. Black Pendants can also be helpful. Others include Fairy Meteor Crush and Premature Burial. And the alll powerful Megamorph (If used properly)Equip cards are vital in beatdowns. To fill in the gap with your magics, try some of these cards: - Nobleman of Crossout (Fear the Man-Eater Bugs no more!) -Tribute to the Doomed (An awesome removal card) - And maybe some other equip cards.. (See above) Pretty much all of your attack monsters should have 1700+ attack. most tournament decks have 1800+ but with the cards you hav, its best using 1700+. Cards for your basic attack monsters. - La Jinn. Currently the most popular 4-Star attacker. (x3) - Neo the M. swordsman. A good Spellcaster monster. (x3) Bistro Butchers are bad, unless used with the Hyper-draw combo in Exodia decks. Letting them draw two cards could mean your downfall if you have controll of the game. Take otu Empress Judge. Its a fusion, and you have none of the requirements. 1 Tribute Monsters should have 2200+ ATK/DEF 2 Tribute Monsters should have 2600+ ATK/DEF I usally recommend for beatdowns: 1 Jinzo (Staple, of course) 3 Summone Skulls (The best 1 Tribute in the game) OR, if you're going up against a deck such as a Direct Damage or Gravity Bind (Those are types of deck themes), you may need to replace the Summoned Skulls witht he quick and powerful, Fiend Megacyber. Its useful ablity helps when speed is the name of the game. Soul Exchange is not needed when you have a few tribute monsters. It really isn't needed at all. Keep Tribute monsters to a minimum! The fewer you have, the better chances of you getting a good hand. If you have too many, you risk the chance fo getting a hand entirely full of Tribue Monsters. So keep that in mind. Now, for the rest of your monsters. - Cyber Jar. (This one is perfect in almost everydeck) - Jinzo (Trap negation is important) - Black Forest Witch (Easy acess to your good monsters) To fill in the blank with your other monsters, use whatever you think would help your deck. I personnaly like to use Wall of Illusions. They fit my theme and re good removal/defense monsters. For the more offensive side, you could use Maha Vailos and their brilliant effect. It all depends on what you want to do with your deck. Traps are pretty simple. Go for the basic Trap format: -3 Trapholes/Michizures -1 Mirror Force -1 Seven Tools of the Bandit -2 Magic Jammers/Magic Drain Optional: Solemn Judgement Remember to have: -About 20 Monsters -About 13-14 Magics -About 7-6 Traps. (Simply because there are more useful magics) Like Solo said, try to keep it at a 1:1 ratio. That means a you commonly get good hands. With that in mind, you're only on your way to getting a better deck. If you go beyond the F/S aspect of a Beatdown, there are other 4-stars you can use. - Harpie's Brother - Seven Colored Fish - Goblin attack Force (Be sure to get this one once you move out of F/S) AND if you are really lucky enough to own a MechanicalChaser, use it! There you go. Hoped that helped.:)

Well my cheap way wasn't so cheap. I just hid under the tree, imune from her attacks, and came out when she was open. Here you go Keyblade, Jafar - Avoid the center and chase him around. When he comes after you from above with his fire move, just dodge it and whack at him. Be sure you've got items and that you're leveled up high enough. No really tips, sorry. Genie Jafar (Which Jafar did you mean?) - Destroy the parrot. Just lock onto him and whack away. Be sure to know where Jafar is when he throws the meteors. They dont cause much trouble. just be sure ot have healed yourself. Oooh I'm on my way back to Hollow Bastion. Ansem is well...looks a little weird. I wish they;d given mor eon him when he first appeared as himself. (Where you can actually see him)

Lets compare to it to another 8-star Ritual monster, soon to be released in February. Crab Turtle 8 Stars ******** 2550 ATK/ 2500 DEF. Aqua - WATER Masked Hellraiser 8 Stars ******** 3200 ATK/ 1800 DEF Warrior - DARK Look at the facts, Crab Turtle isn't great. Its two weak for 8 stars, and there aren't many decks or support cards for it. If anyone is using Summoned Skull, it will be most likely be in a beatdown, so you can expect the SS to have an atack over 2500. No tournament duelist should have a dragon capture in their deck. The chances of a BEWD in DEF mode won't be likely.

Need help with Maleficent Dragon . Any tips? For when she makes those fireballs that come after you or anything to bring down her health fast(er). I know a cheap way to beat her, but I don't want to resort to that.

Well if you plan on getting one in English, you can't. They currently don't exist in English. Hopefully, they will soon. To get one in Japanese, you can't pre-order the game with it (Now that the game is actually available in Japan). You'll have to buy the car dat your local venue, or trade with someone, but keep in consideration that very few people would give on up for a trade. Or for a much easier way, you could go do an internet search for a site that sells God Cards (They're easy to find).

Anime If you could have/make any Millenium Item, what would it be?
Hyper replied to MaceDavis's topic in Otaku Central
Thats all seven of them... Millenium Mirror? I can really picture that. but where would the eye be? Just where the mirror panel is? -
Tracking down the items for the Ultima Weapon can be frustrating. As long as you know where to look and what enemies to destroy. So from what I understand, you have to revisit the worlds to learn the -aga spells? Where would you go for that?

The Tormentor? Obelisk the Tormentor? Don't think I've ever heard of that card... -_- Let's not get spammy in here, now. I said this thread was up on a warning. I've been close to closing a lot of threads recently, so it's not just you, HyperShadow. Everyone be mindful of how they post. -Solo

Two Words: Awesome. (Coliseum Joke, to those who aren't there yet) Anyways. I like this game. I'm sick of the Gummi levels. They drive me insane. Since I've only gotten this game a few days ago, 'm not too far. (Is Atlantica far?) I guess I don't level up enough. I can beat Giant Ursula. Guess I'm not the best gamer. lol

The good, nice experts and the bad, rude experts. I've been able to face both, but its safe to assume that one is better than the other. Hopefully you go up agaisnt the nice experts. They give your deck suggestions, congradulate you for a good duel whether or not you win, and their curtious. I'm sure everyone wil hate the othr type...

Although it is not on here, I don't like the cocky n00bs that think they know everything. They pretend their the best duelists in the world, when in reality, their pathetic.
-
Well playing by tournament rules means with our metagame. He can play Celtic Guardian, as if that is a wise move to play, but with our cards, our strategy is better. Every duelist has different card pulls. My friend just sues the occasional worthess, common, tribute monsters. It varies between duelists.

They traveled/traded? While studying Egypt in school (I paid close attention for Yu-Gi-Oh! references) I knew that the Egyptians were great traders. So on their trading adventures they could have seen many different types on creatures, places, and people. Just a thought.
-
Probably. -He only uses one of every card -His deck is really large -It has no theme -Its pretty slow -It lacks staples -He has weak openers (Playing Celtic Guardian in attack mode?) I'm sure several people could as well. Since TV show decks, in real life, are pretty bad.

Here is a very easy Japanese deck to make. Thats why it doesn't take to long to build. But its an interesting deck to make. It all focuses around one monster, the Composite Beast Gazeeto. It has 0 DEF points and has o attack either (Represented with question marks). Its attack is equal to the combined attack of the monsters required to summon it. (Its a level 7) So the idea for this deck is to summon Gazeeto wiht the use of powerful monsters. Basiccaly, its pure beatdown, but with an interesting twist. Monsters: 20 Composite Beast Gazeeto Composite Beast Gazeeto Composite Beast Gazeeto Saint Magician Blood Vorse Blood Vorse Blood Vorse Black Forest Witch Goblin Strike Team Goblin Strike Team Magic Reflect Bounder Gemini Elf Gemini Elf Gemini Elf Android Psycho Shocker Skilled Black Magician Skilled Black Magician Cyber Pod Magic: 14 Emissary of Obliteration Emissary of Obliteration Harpie Feather Duster Angel?s Gift Axe of Despair Axe of Despair Black Hole Thunderbolt Jar of Greed Cyclone Cyclone Raise Dead Change of Heart Traps: 6 Holy Barrier - Mirror Force Magic Jammer Imperial Decree Imperial Control Magic Cylinders Destruction Ring Total Monsters: 20 Total M/T: 20 Total: 40

I don't think all of the Duel Monster cards were in ancient Egypt. Pegasus probably had added in a few.
-
Thats the second reason I went to McDonalds...hehehe
-
Besides speed, the Devil-Franken combo has one particular weakness. X-E-N-O. It has a flip effect. When you flip it, you take control of one of your opponent's monsters. It can attack directly. This only works if you flip it on your turn, but it can be deadly if you play it against DF decks.

I'm new to the Sony systems, seeing as how I got my first Sony system (PS2) two days ago. But a memory card question is bothering me. Lets say I had two games (I do actually). One of these was a PS2 game (Kingdom Hearts) and the other a normal Play Station game (Forbiddem Memories). I know Play Station 2 can play the original PS games. But can it store the game data of a PS game on a PS2 Memory card? Do I have to buy a PS memory card to save my PS game data, so I can use the saved data on a PS2? Anything appreciated.
