Name: Lacroix Sigfried Gender: Male Location:Riverdale Weapon: Quarterstaff, bladed at each end. Twin scimitars. Skills: Abnormal agility, perception and reflexes. Appearance: Six foot tall, and overly slender. Raven black hair that falls to his shoulders. His eyes are a glacial blue. He conceals his body with enveloping black cloth, that in no way hinders his movements. Biography: Lacroix was born in Riverdale. That much he knows. He grew up however, in the wilderness surrounding the village. Lacroix learnt to survive quickly, waylaying travellers and bandits alike. He scavanged weapons and food from where ever he could. He learnt to use everything he could. Quite often, he was reduced to nothing, so he also knows how to fight hand to hand. Returning to the village never occured to him until he was 17. When he arrived, his first action was the murder of his parents. Since then, Lacroix has been arrested, educated, trained further and now told he has a purpose in life. It remains to be seen whether this insane, twisted creature will make or break the cause.

He used blessed, and honoured, in relation to my being here. Strange person... Anyway, to clarify a curiousity, I am forced by circumstances, albeitly influenced by impatience, to inquire whether as to you would prefer our bio, which, as I believe was earlier mentioned, would be contained in our first post, to reflect either A) our life, B), our joining/affiliation with the Order, C) a character mind-map, D) reason for being at aforementioned location, which I adimt could tie in with any of the previous three, but should be contained as a subcatagory for reasons I will not dwell on, but I digress anyway, E)estimations, thoughts, ideas on, or about, this perceived threat, its possible, or likely, nature, what can be done about it, or, to save time, and for a few other reasons, again I refuse to digress, yet again I do so anyway, all of the above? 30 commas in that sentence. I'm rather proud of it, despite it logical, grammatical and punctuational inaccuracies.

BANG! Crossed the line into SPAM! No further comment. Mod please.

But, if should say... accidently pick you up, hold you upside down, and your ankle just happens to run into a meathook? You have two choices. Bow to Cockroachical, or run! Yeah, you better run!

I'm sick, she's busy. That's not irrelevant, just annoying. After all, I am The Harlemi...Harlequin. Or maybe I am Cockroachical! The Great God Of Undead Cockroaches! I think that will be my theme for me next banner... Time to go and resurrect Bad Mojo.

Personally, I think the only person who would be remotely qualified to do the voice for Red XII is Rob Zombie. Or maybe, just maybe, Brian Molko... Oh, and who would be playing Rude?

Yes, indeed let us damn all MACs! Or Cloricus, you could listen to me at long last and finally hit the damn thing with an axe...

Strong Points 1. I'm intelligent. 2. I have no regard for human life. 3. I feel emotion only if I choose to. Weak Points (/Things I don't like about myself) 1. I sometimes desire company. 2. I talk too much. (If anyone who really knows me reads this, they should realise how ironic a comment that is. 3. There is too much about myself I am unaware of. 23rd time...

OOC: Ah. You were starting to scare me a little. Ahem. Anyway. My apologies for not posting much lately people, medical reasons. IC:The door to Lacroix's prison/room opened. Outside stood a priestess, not of Malice's household, but one of considerable rank. She beckoned him over. Lacroix did not fail to notice the twist of her lips. She was quite obviously angry about having to perform a servants duty, and show respect to a mere male. Preistess: You will come with me. Without further words, Lacroix was lead off. He was taken to the chapel. Malice and her daughters stood around the spiderlike pentagram in the middle of the floor. The priestess shoved Lacroix into the middle of the design. The world shimmered, and abruptly he was somewhere else.

Not only did you double post, as you said, you got shot down by Jesus Chicken. That doesn't require help, that requires you to be shot... That's probably the banner I've seen out of you so far. It actually looks interesting. Although it would look better if the text was not only not crap, but also in some way relevent to ...whatever the hell that picture is. And the blue line just looks absurd.

Neither is mine. Or at least, not to a logical effects. It has so much wrong with it that all the messups have to destroy each other before attacking the computer. They're still at it.

Don't call me Harly. Ever. For any reason. Any of you. Or things will happen. Bad things. Yeah, the font's bad, but the rest of it looks good. Speaking of fonts, Mike you have to tell me what that one you are using on your current banner is! Of course I know what porting is. I own a MAC remember? Oh, I know A LOT about porting. Mostly that people aren't in a hurry to do it.

What? Liam likes N.E.R.D.? Oh my furry Jesus....
-
Ahem. Actually, Jesus Chicken's theme song would be a version of "Hash Pipe" by Weezer, except changing Hash to Nesquik. No further comment.

OOC: Meh, you'll do fine. Just watch those of us who have been doing this a long while. Mainly Mist and I... IC:Lacroix awoke, small sounds already filtering through the morning. He rose, sitting on his bedroll a moment. He looked down. Ryana was still asleep. He smiled fondly, then left the small tent. Sigfried, Elaira and Rikala were already up. Loud snores emanated from Kinrade's tent, only to be cut off sharply, to the sound of flesh slapped. Lilith objected to snoring. Didn't change her sleeping arangements though. Elaira stood up and stretched. Throwing a questioning glance at Lacroix. Elaira: Asandir's already awoken. He said he'd be back soon. The strange behaviour was nothing new to them. They were all strange. And they'd had nearly 2 years to adjust to each other's idiosyncrasies. Kinrade and Lilith came out of their tent, sitting around the fire. Nobody bothered saying good morning. They all considered such frivolities a waste of time. Asandir appeared from the trees and sat down, his arms around Elaira. They started in to the fire, each in their own thoughts. Their thoughts had a common thread however. Each thought back to how they had come into the group. OOC: My posts will just be character maps for a while I'm afraid. But it won't inconvenience anyone else, the storyline has not only not started, I'm not part of it. For now.

Hmmmm. Either Heaven Coming Down, by The Tea Party, or Ask For Answers by Placebo.

Especially the Aura spell. It just made the game too easy.

I mention the Banshees a lot because they started the genre as we know it. I would not however call them good in any way shape or form. I was referring to the inability to define goth as a music genre, and Raven's rather sophistry-like argument.

For those who haven't noticed, this thing has started. Since Dark Thief doesn't seem to be around, I thought I'd mention it.

Yeah, it's their first album. Also their best.

OOC: Did the storyline jump somewhat?

OOC: Carnal instincts? What the hell... IC: Lacroix reached his old house. Set in a small cranny in the mile long cavern that held Menzoberranzan, it was a lot smaller than many of the houses. Less grand, less traced with stalactites with driven runes of faerie fire, it was instead defensable. It had stood longer than most houses, excepting of course the Baenre. But his house was strong, if the people in it were not. He marched up to the gate. The guards, both young, demanded his name. Lacroix: Lacroix Daemerzannon. Noble of the 12th house of Menzoberranzan. The shocked silence echoed into the street. They still knew who he was, at least. They ...attempted to grab him. Bad move. His scimitars arced out and he spun. He stabbed one under the armpit, parried the second one's slice, spun and sliced his throat in a single motion. The shocked commoners on the street quickly hurried along. They new better than to get involved. Lacroix: Why don't I just let myself in. Imbuing his hands, he slammed the gates. They opened with a loud clang. There was an immediate reaction. Thinking they were being attacked by another house, the Weapon Master spun the troops in battle formations, the priestesses gathered in the chapel, the mages moved to hidden positions around the cave. They saw nothing. A single drow. Who levitated up the the balcony. A fixed feature of all noble houses, the balcony was a sign of power. Only nobles could stand there. They assembled, prepared to deal with the intruder. Harshly. Malice, the Matron of the house, walked out onto the balcony. The admantine echoed under her sure footsteps. They tracked every echo. Including when she faltered as she recognised Lacroix. Malice: You! You are a fool to return! Lacroix: I didn't return. I was sent back. Malice: Explain yourself. Lacroix: Who sent me away? Malice: Nilothakir. Lacroix: Was that the last contact the city had with him. Malice narrowed her eyes. Malice: True. How do you know? Lacroix laughed evilly. Lacroix: He didn't denounce me. He justed wanted me into his service. Malice: What! Lacroix: He wanted to know the secrets of the drow race. Defences, magic, weaponry. The works. Malice: You lie! Lacroix lifts his shirt, revealing the tracery of scars. Lacroix: Oh? Malice: That bastard. Lacroix smiled ironically. Certainly, the epithet was not because of his maltreatment. He smiled inwardly as well. His ruse was working. Lacroix: The only way I was able to escape was when Nilothakir merged with some surface dweller to protect himself. Malice: I care not! Why did he want to know? Lacroix: Why else? He wanted to conquer us. Malice: He will die! I will lead my entire house against him! From behind her, the eldest daughter of the house, Brizna, stepped forward. Brizna: Forgive me Matron, but why should we alone attack the necromancer? The other houses have been betrayed as well. Malice opened her mouth to rebuke her daughter, but then what she said registered. She smiled slowly, and immediately started snapping off orders. Lacroix allowed himself to be taken into custody, although admittedly a rather sumptuous confinement. He smiled and reclined on his bed, alone. He knew Baenre in particular was suspicious of Nilothakir. Probably because he had not contacted them. He also knew Nilothakir had also levelled accusations against prominent weapon masters and mages all over the city. Given Lacroix's lies, this would quickly be held against the mage. And if Lloth willed, which she would, given her rapacious nature, the drow would march. Twenty thousand dark elves. A force to destroy an known army in the world. And given Nilothakir's nature, the drow would not have to endure much sunlight. In fact, given Nilothakir's interplanar travels, most likely none. Nilothakir was going to be in for a very, very bad time. OOC: I liked that. I really did. Don't worry about me returning people. When I do make my entrance, it's going to be good.

1970's, the Batcave. Siouxie and The Banshees. There is a goth genre of music, and that is the subject of discussion. Ahem. Sorry my love. Anyway. Ozzy's songs are no where near as good as his Black Sabbath stuff...
