OOC: Alright then. Excepting Blaze, we are all at the Mire. All of us. No matter what you think you were doing earlier. Bear with me here. Blaze is where EFK said he is. We'll add in the subplot, running off to rescue him. Take it from there people.

OOC: Cloricus, you're the one that posted you running into Alastuin and I. So you ****ed it, not the rest of us. I never suggested anything, I merely pointed out that everyone seemed to miss a lot. Quite a lot. Now, you lot can do what you like. I'm continuing with what I had. And I'm running this into a fantasy tangent, regardless of objections. IC: After several hours of travel through the forest, the howl of wolves echoed through the night. The air seemed to chill. Lacroix drew his knives, glancing around in something almost nervously. He quickened his pace, the undergrowth pressing on him ever closer. Glowing, intelligent eyes peered out at him from the dense brush. He started running. The only warning he had was a snarl. A wolf leapt out at him, fangs bared. He dived sideways and spun his knife out. The wolf's own momentem gutted it. He rolled to his feet and ran on. The clearing was darker than moonblack. Lacroix cautiously edged across. About halfway, he ran into a large rock. As soon as he touched it, ethereal blue light emanated from it. The rock was regular shaped, and traced with cracks. Lacroix examined it closer, only to find that the cracks were actually runes. He scraped his fingers upon one set. A shimmering appeared on the altar. It solidified into another wolf. This one was bigger. A lot bigger. And it's breath froze in the air. A Winter Wolf. OOC: All I will apologise for here is that my post quality has gone to hell.

You think that's bad. Flynn Thomas Arthur Mitchell. Don't ask me what the hell happened with the background. I had it on transparency, I swear. Oh well. [edit]Now that's really strange. It comes up with an entire white rectangle the first time around, then it disappears. Oh well.

OOC: You could have posted that this had started or something. Or mentioned exactly who you accepted. Anyway, I'm going to assume I'm in, until further notice. Oh, and I'll be on my own for a fair while. IC: The La Chapelle De La Mort Vert, currently posing as a travelling circus, are a band of killers for higher. It seems hard to find the determining factor behind who these people are, and why they are together, but they are of a certain type if looked at closely. They are all somewhat gothic, to varying degrees. They tend to be slightly insane, and they have all experienced tragedy in the past. They are also all masters of disguise, and whatever weapons they choose to employ. Leader of the troop is Lacroix. He brought them together, saving many of them in the process. They are fiercely loyal to each other, and it is no coincidence that are equal numbers of males and females. When combined, they are one of the more formidable forces known.

Well, this is somewhat bad. In fact, more than somewhat. Don't worry, I'll get the hang of it eventually. [edit]Now with white lines!

OOC: Bleh. To all of you. We are in my home VILLAGE. That's right. VILLAGE. Manchester my ***. I think not. Think small town people. Very small. Maybe three streets, all unpaved. V-i-l-l-a-g-e. Or did nobody pick up on that? And really, who are you going to kill? I killed the only damn priest in town with my first post. So you're not fighting the Church at all. You'd be fighting a bunch of peasants. And what the hell is the point in that. Do as ye will, harm ye none etc. But in this case, it's Do as ye will, leave me the hell a lone. My character is now promptly disappearing. If anybody posts that they just "happened" to run into him, I will be most aggravated. IC: As his companion glanced away, Lacroix ducked back into the alley, silently running off. He loved doing that to people, they never knew what happened. He was quickly outside his home town, and off along the path the woman had earlier came down. Part way along, he turned into a thick forest (no, I don't mean that literally you idiots), and quickly disappeared into the undergrowth. OOC: Anymore logical improbabilities I need to straighten out?
-
Actually, we're looking at the music genre here, not the way of thinking. Just because you are gothic, and you like it, doesn't mean it too is gothic. That's very, very shaky logic.

Alright, now I'm really, really pissed. Oh well. Where do you run into Elnyoles in the Laguna sequence? I know you can run into Elastoids, and they have something that refines into pulse ammo, but where are the Elnoyles? The only places I've ever seen them are in Esthar after the Lunar Cry and the Deep Sea Deposit.

You better run Mike. I'll get you yet. I'm not a whatever-that's-from fan, but it looks alright. The eye thing makes him/her/it look like a racoon though. You know, I once had a picture of that character. I ripped the hair off and put it on a sloth... I think I'll dig that up come to think of it. -
OOC: Oh, this should be good. As the dragon returned home, followed by the other one, Lacroix swore and ran into his armoury. He had his weapons, but not magic. Asiding the few spells he always kept on hand, the ones that were inherent dark elf abilities more than spells. He ran back out, weaving shields and filters around his home. Let the damn shapershifter get through an anti-magic field. Should be very fun. To counter any possible counter spell, Lacroix added in a little twist. Any person directing or taking energy from the spell would be drawn into it, and the spell would gain energy. This would be fun, and messy.

Don't call me mister. Now, when does this start, and how many more characters can I have?

I'd like to know what the name of the "The One" font is. I think I have it somewhere, but just to make sure.

Well, I'm taking my first shots, so to speak, with ImageReady now, so perhaps in a week or so. Or when I get around to drawing all those lines... -
System Of A Down are excellent. Their best song would have to be either Deer Dance ATWA, or perhaps Bounce ( Just for the weirdness.) Anyone know when they're releasing a new album?
-
You can also get Energy Crystals by refining them from Elnoyle cards. But I thought you could only get it if you had the magazine?
-
I like the story, but break it up a little more. Make it easier to read. Interesting though.

And any further information is really, really unwanted. What's this thing with digital text? Digital text isn't that good.

Lacroix heard a lot of murmering as he left the Church. He spun, his hands darting to his knives, thinking that they were directed at him. Instead, a stranger had entered the village. Lacroix gracefully darted through the crowd, and then stopped short. Towards the village, came a young woman. Lacroix stood motionless, amazed that a being of such beauty could exist. He stood aside as a delegation from the village went to meet her. From the first, it looked ugly. Very ugly. As the village elder's tone grew louder, and more accusing, those behind Lacroix started to mutter, about heresy and witchcraft. Lacroix spun, eyeing those closest to him. Unaware of who this black clad stranger was, only knowing he was armed, they fell back from him. He stepped backwards, deftly keeping balance. When a safe distance away, he turned and walked swiftly towards the female. The village elders turned and yelled at him. He ignored them. Very soon, they were lying with their throats ripped out. The woman looked at him in surprise. Lacroix: You wouldn't want to talk to them. Beleive me. I am Lacroix, and I would wihs that you consider yourself forewarned about entering that cesspool of religion.

Interzone Mantras is the only cd I have, although I have most of Triptych and a few other songs on my computer. But Interzone Mantras is excellent, I'd recommend you get it.

OOC: Mmmm. Chipmunk.... IC: Contrary to what he told the others, Lacroix intended not to eat the chipmunk at all. Instead, he tore it into thre pieces and, well, started juggling. Just to se if he could. He could. The dead rodent forgotten, he followed the others.

Lacroix crept down the corridor. Ahead stood a party of gnomes, alert and ready for battle. Lacroix swore silently. They must have had some kind of spell going. He stepped into the open, arms oustretched. The gnomes lowered their weapons slightly. Lacroix stepped forward again, and received a crushing blow from behind, that sent him into darkness. When he awoke, he was greeted with the dim glow of faerie fire. He rose up, finding his equipment still in place. He padded down the corridoor, coming to large, ornate stone gates. Menzoberranzan. Home of the drow. He walked openly through the gates, his passage unremarked. He was back. Time for things to get very, very interesting.

I'm working on it. I think I have most of it out of the way. Once I got that mask thing under control the rest was pretty simple. -
OOC: Alright, alright. Next post everyone, just put where you happen to be. Let's keep this on track. Oh, by the way EFK, I got Spike " You're most like laid back bounty hunter. You're the cool headed Spike. Not much gets to you...seemingly. You hold some inner pain, but you keep it hidden as best as you can. Inner pain or not, you are incredibly bad-***" on that test thing. IC: Lacroix and Raistlin continued talking, Lacroix holding Alastuin in his arms gently. Wondering at why Raistlin had come, he enquired. Raistlin: Mainly because I got bored, and I heard that strange things were happening. Lacroix: Yes. All sorts of creatures have been appearing. Which kind of aggravtes me. Hell, I live here. And now I have all theses damn neighbours to put up with. Raistlin: Right...

Lacroix: The evil bunnies are becoming revolutionaries. For assorted reasons of our own, we're going to stop them. Or something. D.D: Hell, why not. Off to stop the rabbits! Lacroix: Hell yeah! They continue on, oblivious to the danger that awaits both them and their eyebrows.

Yeah, I'm not too keen on the lightning either, but without it it looked a little empty. Once I manage to perfect doing lightning strikes, I'm afraid people will be seeing a lot more of them. And I'll probably get around to doing an animated one at some point too. Calm down Phantom.
