That right people. The most insane rpg you will ever encounter has started. IC:Lacroix stood with the others in front of the King. King: Now, young brave adventures! You must make the evil bunnies cease their dastardly anti-monarchy ideas! Lacroix: Why? The King blinks. Several times. Getting slightly caught up in it, it takes several loud coughs from the court jester, who is rather aggravated about the King doing his job for him, to remind the somewhat absent minded King that he has company. King: You can never blink enough you know. Where was I? Ah yes. Bunnies. Lots of them. They're evil you know? Lacroix: Yes, we know. But why must we stop them? King: Because they don't have eyebrows. A somewhat angry silence falls over the group. Lacroix: What, exactly, has that to do with anything. King: Well, it's in the town charter you understand. True to his word, town charter reads. "To all ye who would found a town called Yipe! Know ye that a town called Yipe! can only be ruled by those with eyebrows, and furry ones at that. Know ye also that should ye fail in this, well, just don't okay." The rest of the charter seems to have disappeared. And this charter's ink seems a little, well, moist. Oh well. The adventurers turn and walk out, cautiously stepping over the corpses of the leaping sheep that had earlier invaded. Personally, Lacroix was more interested in why it was so strange that he grew up, than in the revolution of the bunnies. His mop newly wet, his neon parker rebatteried, and his newspaper hat containing the latest comics, Lacroix was ready for anything.

I agree with Char! about James's rpg. I know that I post as much as possible, but its rare to get a chance. Perhaps if all the storylines entwined, and people weren't just making filler posts... Anyway. My theory is that people are just getting less and less interested in rpgs. I mean, I put weeks of effort into my Desolation rpg, and the only people that signed up were people who know my rpg style, and tend to like it. I've seen several other situations like it. 22nd time...

Actually, I didn't use Twirl either. Zig-Zag, the around center option, I think. The background was a radial blur, set to zoom, then sharpened, or something. I love you too.

To a goth, that is probaby one of the more physically painful outfits I could think of *shudders*. Right then, I'm starting this, probably tonight. Remember people this rpg is set out to be completely insane, although perhaps within some limits. If I say something's a little too far, don't do it again. But for now, feel in no way inhibited. Crazy as you like. And, in everyone's first post, can you just mention if you've actually played any of the Yipe! series or not? And if you haven't, give me one good reason I shouldn't lynch you...

I swear, the entire boards are so overly quixotic its beyond remotely amusing. Reminds me of a song I heard once I think. Something about Forever Love. Oh well. Nice poem. A little more despcription would have helped, the words were overly simple, but not much else.

Their best album will always be Throwing Copper. Their newest one is alright, but that Dolphin business... the lead track was the only good one. But yeah, Live are excellent. Their best songs in my opinion would have to be Selling The Drama, I Alone, Iris, Lightning Crashes, All Over Me, Stage and Waitress.

The fading font looks good, but the placement is wrong. I like the background though.

Sorry, I was a little pressed for time, so I didn't have much to say. Had to paraphrase my thoughts so to speak. Anyway, to my opinion. As I so vulgarly said, I like the imagery. The subject is appealing, kind of reminds me of quite a few song lyrics I've heard, mainly the Tea Party. "All you needed was an open invitation, you said yourself you craved the cimplications you know the one who made you make the dedication you sell yourself you sell your soul" The Tea Party - The Master And The Margaritta. That kind of defiant, contemptuous thread weaving through arrogance, a message of rebuke to those its directed at. So to speak.

Gives me something to do with my spare time. Anyway, we're gettingt WAY off topic here. So, back to point, to define Goth, one must really define the kind of person, rather than the music. If one understands the philosophy, the way of life the Gothicism is, than what the music is just falls into place.

You should know better by now. Your poetry is excellent.

I love it because I empathise so well with the last two stanzas. It's a great poem, but I think you're starting to get a little quixotic on choice of subject.

Hmmm. Slavic Dance 5, I forget the composer, is also a great piece of classical music.

As the others talked, Lacroix stood, cradling Alastuin in his arms. He gently entered her mind, gauging the damage done. She resists him for several moments, until his soft insistence causes her to realise that the intrusion is born out of concern, and out of love. Several minutes later, Lacroix withdraws, wrapping his arms tighter around the form in his arms, out of sympathy that was drawn straight from a heart as grim as north facing granite. Alastuin shields her eyes, softly saying how she wanted to shield him from it. He says nothing, but gently strokes her hair.

Defenstration is always good. Anyway, as I said, I prefer Pachelbel. His Canon In D has to be the greatest piece of music ever written.

OOC: I'll keep him going. It should give me something to do in my spare time. And playing two characters might even be a little challenging.

Wrong bear by the way. I thought you were making the map in black and white? Name: Lacroix Animal: Black Panther. Location: 1. (where else?)

Define daft. If you're going along the lines of stupid, well... let us just say that daft people rarely listen to classical music. If you're going along the lines of insane, then don't worry about it. I was insane for a year and a half, and it doesn't bother me. Bach's pieces can be played solo on the piano. Most of his compositions are for a full orchestra though. Most instruments just don't have enough of a piece for a solo rendition though.

OOC: Well then. If we're all having this big section of overly sentimental, self sacrificing suicide, along with running off... I may as well go with it. I was going to leave this idea for later, but I'll play my card now. IC:Still stunned by his discovery, and charged with a feeling of power, and adrenaline rush, Lacroix realised the next step in his journey of recovery. He needed to confront his heritage. Lacroix mentally orientated himself, visualising the map he commited to memory years ago. The nearest entrance to the Underdark was Dead Dragon Gorge, an oddly shaped depression in the earth. Lacroix focused, tracing runes in the air. Words, shaped of pure power, appear in the air. They tell of his intention to go off an confront his heritage, and they stress the importance of him doing it alone. He leaves, disappearing from thought and sight. A long journey awaits him, in the most dangerous territory on the face of the earth. OOC: I'm going to be off for a long while people. Have fun without me.

I think I'd pass on that. Motorcycles aren't my thing. If you wanted to know, all you had to do was ask. Flynn. That's right. Flynn. But I'm not Irish, nor are my parents. But anyway.

I wasn't actually trying to make it look like a teardrop, and you might be surprised here, but for once I didn't even touch the ripple effect.

Sign Up Vampire: the Masquerade RPG. WARNING! Not for the faint of heart!

When I made the Lilith comment, I was taking it from a history standpoint. So, when does this thing start? -
One of them. There were quite a few. Many of Bach's compositions included heavy vocals, rather choral things, with heavy music.

Spyder's protests die on her lips, as she looks deep into Davien's eyes. She sighs, and bows her head. A scintillating envelopes them both, flashes of this realm in the next melding into a darkened version of death. Emotion and memory spin joyful dances around them, interpersed with sorrow of ages. They open their eyes at the same time, back in the familiar, stunted landscape that comprised the circles of hell. Davien: Well then. Never thought I'd come back here. Shall we go my love.

OOC: To hell with this. Sorry MDE, but this was just too long a wait. IC: As the others dispersed, Lacroix rose up, leaving them to do as they would. As usual, other people were more caught up in each other than their surroundings. Their lack of perception surprised Lacroix somewhat. It always did. Perhaps his introversion was somewhat to do with it. Lacroix left, off, back into the world. No matter what the others said, this was really a chance for revenge.
