OOC: If it has a name, I don't think Jester has mentioned it yet. [I]An ember flew out of the fire and hit Geist in the face. He woke up and moved closer to the heat. He watched the others sleep and noticed that Mischief was gone.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "That's strange...where could he have gone? And why is the fire still burning? Hey, what's this?"[/COLOR] [I]He picked up a small piece of paper. "To Fli" was written on the front.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Well, it's not for me so I'd better leave it alone."[/COLOR] [I]Giest dropped the note and walked out of the shelter, following some footprints. He soon stopped at a frozen pond, there was no more trail to follow because of the storm.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "That's just great. What..."[/COLOR] [I]Geist was knocked down from behind by two furry paws. His face crashed into the ice, knocking him out. Soon, after inspecting its find, the creature dragged away the unconcious boy by the leg.[/I]

[I]Geist popped his head out of the chilly water and grabbed onto a floating peice of ice. Up ahead he saw the group standing on more solid ground. He let go of the ice and swam over to them.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Hi guys, sorry I'm late. So what's the plan now?"[/COLOR]

[B]Fallen Facets - Father Is Missing[/B] [I]In the year 3010, a special son was born to Dr. Ridell and his wife. They named the boy, Taro. Much to their surprise, their son was far from normal, he possessed unusual powers, which we're too much for him and caused his untimely demise at 16. Mrs. Ridell left her husband and said it was because of his experiments that their son was killed. The doctor did not want to cope with his son's death, however, so he took DNA samples from Taro and made 6 clones, or...Facets. Although they were cloned from the same DNA, they are not all exact copies. Some of them were born different, but for the others he changed them himself. On their thirteenth birthday, the facets gained their powers; but...they also lost their father... They have no clues to go on, except a sign of a struggle and a very strange [URL=http://bigsplat.net/personal/bluefactor72/T2.GIF]symbol[/URL] tattooed on their father's bedroom wall.[/I] Here's what you need to put in your sign up sheet. [B]Bio:[/B] Dr. Ridell's first clone of Taro. At first, he was going to make all of the Facets look the same, but he decided to only do it with Dominic. Since he looks so much like the doctor's dead son, Dominic tries his best to act like him and he even wears his old clothes. In fact, Dr. Ridell would probably call him Taro if he hadn't given that middle name to the rest of the Facets. I didn't find much, just that the navis look human and they've been seen around the undernet, but that was just a rumor. I also found another post about Glitch, something about 'turning the tables and controlling the Operators'. Did you find anything?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "No, pretty much just what you found. I think I might know another place to find some information. Can you go meet up with the others while I go do some research?."[/COLOR] [COLOR=red][B]Kly:[/B] "Okay, I will. Where are you going to go?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Just to the library, I'll meet you guys when I'm done. Bye, Kly."[/COLOR] [I]Iron and Kly both took their seperate paths.[/I]

[I]After Avalon handed out the bags, and showed them how to work the smoke bombs, one of the beasts charged at Geist. He tried to throw a smoke bomb at it, but it was charging too fast. It hit him and he fell on top of it, clinging to it's hide. He let go and started to slide off, but before he did, he dropped a smoke bomb in the creature's mouth. It soon fell down in a fit of choking.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] (Coughing) "Not bad for a one-handed kid, huh? Those smoke bombs are pretty useful after all."[/COLOR] [I]Geist noticed that he was talking to no one. Everyone had already split into two groups, one led by Charlie, and the other led by Karina, they were running in two different directions. Geist ran over to join Charlie's group.[/I]

[COLOR=blue]OOC: That's ok, post whenever you feel like it. I've been struck by the same disease.[/COLOR] [I]Magnetman checked the boards, but there was no info at all. He posted a message and went to go talk to some navis.[/I] [COLOR=darkblue][B]Magnetman:[/B] "Hey, you. Do you know anything about Glitch or the strange navis that have been showing up?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=red][B]Purple navi:[/B] "No, I don't. But I believe that navi over there might know something."[/COLOR] [I]Magnetman walked up to the navi that the purple navi had pointed at.[/I] [COLOR=darkblue][B]Magnetman:[/B] "What do you know about these strange navis that have been popping up out of nowhere?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkred][B]Green navi:[/B] "Not much, I've only heard rumors. I heard that they've been appearing around the entrance to the Undernet in Netopia, but I've never gone to check it out for myself. I've also heard that they sort of look like Operators...but I've never seen one of them myself. That's all I know about them."[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkblue][B]Magnetman:[/B] "And Glitch? Do you know anything about them?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkred][B]Green navi:[/B] "No, I've heard the name once or twice, but I don't know anything about them. There's a rumor though that if you answer one of their messages, your Operator will delete you on the spot! I wouldn't want to test that one..."[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkblue][B]Magnetman:[/B] "Okay thanks. Hey, Iron. I didn't find much info here, let's go see what Kly has found and then go meet with the others."[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Right, I'll jack you out."[/COLOR] [I]Iron jacked out Magnetman and took the shuttle to Marine Harbor.[/I]

[I]Geist emerged from the water, he hopped out of it immediately as he began to shiver.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "B-boy, it's c-c-cold around here. I'm glad I wore my long-sleeved shirt today. I'd better wait for the others before going on."[/COLOR] [I]Geist walked around the pool, in an effort to warm himself up. When everyone else arrived, he helped them out.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "It's a little cold at first. Are you guys alright?"[/COLOR]

[I]Not wanting to be left behind, Geist dived in also. And then...his body disappeared, or at least that's what it felt like. He felt as light as a feather, he tried to cry out to everyone else but he couldn't speak. As the darkness moved around him, he saw several faint lights. He floated over to find out what they were and found them to be somewhat solid.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B][I]"These lights must be the other students and teachers...I wonder if that's what I look like...?"[/COLOR] He lifted his hands to look at them, but they were completely invisible. He dropped them to his non-existent sides and sighed."[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "So much for that idea. I wonder how much longer until we get there?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Aerow:[/B] "hehe. Need help with the virus, Iron?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Maybe, but probably not. It will go faster with two though."[/COLOR] [I]In BlueSquare, a Deathfire and a Beetank2 appeared. Magnetman used a Magline to keep them in place, and then threw a Quake 3 at them, taking them out easily. Phoenix also finished off his viruses quickly. After they both destroyed the last viruses, they jacked out their navis.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Well, that was easy. Now we need to find out more about these disappearances. I'm going to head to KotoSquare. Kly, you take Iceman to the Square, Aerow, you go to YumSquare, and Geoff, you go look around at NetSquare. Okay everyone? Let's try to find as much info as we can."[/COLOR] [I]Iron jacked Magnetman back into the server and he headed for the Kotobuki homepage.[/I]

[I]Geist smiled at Avalon and Kinga.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Hi, I'm Geist Hittori. I pretty much came here for the martial arts and basic weapons classes. What did you guys come here for?"[/COLOR] [I]Before they replied, a little bit of Bozel's answer caught his ear.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "'Your's now'? ' 'When they choose to'? does that mean we're bringing them with us? And what's the climate like at that Man-something place? Are our clothes fine, or should we change?"[/COLOR] [I]Bozel shot him an irritated glance that sent a small chill down his spine.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] [I]"That was unusual, to say the least. I should have expected something like that after seeing that elf here though. I guess there's not much to do...but pick up a stone."[/COLOR] Geist walked up to the circle. It moved and pushed a stone up to him. he tried to grab a stone to his right but it floated away from him and the other stone took its place.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "You're pretty stubborn, aren't you? I guess you're the one I'm supposed to choose."[/COLOR] [I]He picked up the stone, stepped back a little bit, and looked at the blond student by his side. He then looked back at the other students, wondering which one, if any, we're going to grab the next stone.[/I]

[COLOR=red][B]Geoff:[/B] "Fine, but tell me of these requirements."[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Well you've already passed the basic one, owning a PET with a Navi. The second requirement is that you promise you won't use the Deep Blue center for any malicious reasons. Do you agree?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=red][B]Geoff:[/B] "Yeah, I agree."[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Okay good. Now..."[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkred][B]Kly:[/B] "Hey, Iron. A virus has gotten into Blue Square, the basic navis can't take care of it; you might want to send in Magnetman."[/COLOR] [COLOR=blue][B]Iron:[/B] "Alright, I'll go take care of it. Geoff, this is Kly Devin. Kly, this is Geoff; he just joined our group. Give him his Deep Blue jacket and the DeepBlue security code."[/COLOR] [COLOR=darkred][B]Kly:[/B] "Okay. But if they do...I'll fight back no matter how strong they are!"[/I][/COLOR] [I]As he walked along to the pool, he noticed a lot of strange, but friendly, looking people.[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Maybe this won't be so bad, so bad after all. The people here seem pretty nice."[/COLOR] [I]Geist took his arm out of hiding and walked into the crowd of students waiting at the pool. He started to talk to some of them, they seemed pretty nice. Then, everyone grew silent as Headmaster Bozel started to speak...[/I]

It was carried away by a metal arm, and he reloaded while he waited for the next one to be put up...but it didn't come...[/I] [COLOR=blue][B]Iitashi:[/B] "What's going on here? [COLOR=blue]I thought this was done by the same person who did Princess Monoke. The drawings look very similiar. I've only seen very little of this movie in the form of two comic books, (there's more than two, there just not being sold yet where I live. It's a movie to book format by the way.) The story and drawings are great so far. It really reminds me of a Japanese ghost story or fairy tale. I can't wait until it comes out. Oh, that reminds me...I heard that Disney is going to be in charge of releasing the DVD. Is this true?[/COLOR]
