Echo Screens are what cure Silence. Softs cure petrification. As for Level reccomendation, I'd say AT LEAST Lvl 20. Fight the Pythons and steal from the toads. Eat the toads to get Quina to learn a Blue Magic attack. For the battle: Have Zidane steal once (or twice, Giz has good items) and have Vivi pummel Giz with his thunder. Quina should be the healer, and Freya should either use Lancer (under her Dragon command) to take HP and MP from Giz and she should also Jump when she goes into Trance. Trance: Zidane-- Dyne command will appear, use the command closest to the bottom, it's the stronger. Vivi-- Dbl Blk (Double Black Magic Attack) Use thunder twice. Quina-- Cook. A useless command for a boss battle, just allows you to eat without damaging the enemy to half HP. Freya-- No different command. Jump sends two spears down instead of one, damaging the enemy more. Now Giz is hard, especially if he silences you. I'd reccomend you buy a lot of Echo Screens, fight and learn abilities of your weapons (So you can equip stronger weapons without losing the tech.) Talk to the [Big Brother] Moogle in Qu's Swamp to learn about that and/or look on page 4(I think) in your instruction manual to learn how to equip abilities. Once you've learned your abilities, prepare to battle Giz and head to Bermecia, your next destination. I will leave you to battle Giz now, Good Luck!

I counted Nine... I could be wrong though... If I'm right... In Link to the Past, Theives' Town has a secret treasure in a dungeon there. What is the name of the dungeon, boss(and how do you get to see/fight the boss), and the treasure(and the floor that it's on)? I know, easy for a LttP Vet, but oh well... I can't think right now... Heh, by the way, for the process to get to fight the boss, just tell how to make the boss appear, you don't have to give the whole process.

After you beat Ganon in LttP and Vaati in the first Epic of Four Swords, a whole new dungeon will open in LttP on the Power Pyramid! I'm not going to reveal the exact location or how to beat Vaati or even get to her. You must figure that out on your own.[/spoiler] To Deedlit(could be spoiler) : Yes, you can battle bosses with your friends on the Four Sword epics, not in LttP. Three epics, three levels per epic, same bosses for each epic... just harder. I'm not going to give away everything I've found out about Four Swords and it's connection to LttP, I'm just going to say this: If you have a GBA and you are getting/have LttP(FS), It's one heck of a journey and quest. The blade glowed crimson as Valen slashed the wind-bag summon twenty times and landed behind it. The summon exploded as parts of it flew everywhere. [color=#33ooCC]I remember back around Version 4 or 5, I think it was V4. Anyway, what ever happened to the 8-line sig limit? I've been browsing around and seen sigs of 1-50 or more lines. If you want a huge sig like that, you really should provide a link of some sort to a mile-long type sig-- especially if you want to do a ton of smilies. The reason I bring this up now is, these big sigs are becoming more common than before with the recent banners and "friends" lists. They are providing very unneccessary scrolling, and completely screw up the RPGs when you're trying to read and the post/sig is the same colors. That little line doesn't help much either. Well, that's about it. So, will the 8-line limit return, or will it stay at a no-limit limit? -Valen[/color]

Unless I'm mistaking, it's in one of the sets of rules... either the Otaku rules or the "Note to Sparrers" thread... I'll have to check... I remember seeing something about it... but big example would be a one-on-one battle, you come in with a knife and instantly kill the opponent with a slash to the throat, nearly cutting their head off. Your opponent has no way of attacking in their next post, thus making it a completely unfair battle. That ruins the fun of a spar, causing some people to never spar again, especially if that was their first spar ever.
