Haha oh... lol sorry, and no, I don't know the version he told link lol... Anyway, I believe it is in Level 6 in The Legend of Zelda. (The original one on NES) If that's right, someone else take a question... I can't think of one right now...

Valen sread his wings as he crashed into the building, shattering every window on that floor. The people inside screamed as Valen picked them off one by one. He wasn't very mercilous either, he wasn't letting them die a fast death, he left them there half dead to have a slow, agonizing death. Blood was everywhere, on his blade, on the building, on the ground and sidewalk below, everywhere. The screams slowly died down as Valen finished off the last few people on that floor... Twenty more floors to go... This would take a while.

The others looked around to see where that whistling was coming from. It was Karina indeed. They all gathered around the hole to help Karina and Ariel up, but only Karina and Rajaah would come up. Valen: Come on... we have to get out of here... now! Karina: Not without my mother! Valen: Karina! Hurry! Just then there was a major quake as an orb of energy flew out of the ground and right passed Ari, being reflected back down into the crypt by Rajaah. Aerow was indeed ticked off...

OOOOOHHHHH! I know this one! It was one of my favorite quotes from the game! Ahem... *lights go dim and everyone gets quiet* "The Hero's triumph on Cataclysm's Eve Wins three symbols of virtue. The Master Sword he will then retrieve, Keeping the Knight's line true." *Acts like Pegasus* Did I get it? Oh I hope I got it right... I'm right, aren't I? Hahaha Q: In LttP, there is a secret room that was named after the kid who found it. What is the name of the room, and where is it located?

Valen's eyes shot open as he began to stand and head towards the fourth doorway. There was something strange about this one... it didn't have any traps that Valen could detect. He headed into the shadows, not even noticing the others standing around getting their stuff together...

Valen: I also heard there was a secret hidden within this temple... Venna: A secret? What kind? ???: If he knew that, do you think he'd be sitting here? Venna: True... Valen turned to the alter and began to focus his energy once again.

He was bored just sitting there in the tree, but he figured it was for the better. Just then, a guy noticed him sitting in the tree. Valen didn't want anyone to see him, so he did what came natural. Valen let the guy start to walk away so that he wouldn't see anything. With his Isis Katana, he flew down from the tree and viciously sliced the man until blood was pouring out onto the street and his heart was still beating outside of his body. Valen looked at it as if knowing that this man has a strong will to live, but no will is strong enough to escape death. Valen slammed his blade right through the heart as the blood exploded from it. Valen flew back into the tree, then to a nearby building to cause more terror.

Ummm what was the question? Lol...

Valen nodded at Karina, then got up and ran into the battle. Drawing his sword, he charged his energy into the blade itself. A golden light surrounded the blade as he charged at Aerow. Just before he got to Aerow, he jumped and landed behind Aerow. Aerow smirked. Aerow: Ha! You missed! Valen: I wouldn't be too sure about that... Aerow: What do you mean? Valen: Look down... Aerow did so. He was greeted by a golden orb floating just above his feet. The sound of Karina, Valen, Ari, Vahn, Tyron, and Visor running back was heard throughout the crypt...

Yeah, that is true lol... I figure your spirit can and does leave your body after you go to sleep, I mean, you are unconsience while you sleep, so your spirit is most likely out of your body and playing/meeting with others...
-
Yeah, but my theory with that is dogs are just magnificent creatures. There is also a scientific theory about the subconscience mind being able to go back far enough in time to where all memories are stored in the time/space fabric... from there the mind can access distant memories, be yours or your parent's or even your neighbor's... it's a really cool thing...
Originally posted by digitalshadow Imagine if the second player can play as Navi in Zelda 64 or Tatl in MM, lol.
Well, that would be that person's one way ticket to hezzell... But really, I'm kind of reluctant to get it, mainly because of the multi-player aspect of it. Sure it would be cool at first, but it's A Link To The Past, the BEST Zelda game Myamoto ever came up with, and now as a multi-player? That's gonna be cool at first, but as stated, it would get boring after a while... But I'd have to say the only Zelda game that got old was Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link... that game sucked to no end, but oh well... I guess I'll go out and get Four Swords just for shits and giggles...I hope it's as good as the original Link To The Past...

Yeah, when are you releasing the little bugger anyway, James?

OOC: AAAACK! D_A! You lil bugger! ___________ IC: Valen peeled himself off the rock and turned towards Aerow. He wasn't going to get away with that one. He drew his sword and charged at Aerow. Aerow did the exact same thing, knocking the sword loose from Valen's grasp. It stumbled about in his hands for a moment then he ragained control of it. Valen stopped, noticing Karina, Ari, and Vahn standing behind Aerow."So that's why those two aren't attacking..." He thought to himself. He knew that Tyron and Visor wouldn't attack with the chance of the children and Karina getting hurt. He lured Aerow away from Karina, Ari, and Vahn by slashing at Aerow and running. Eventhough he couldn't go very far, he went as far as possible without getting caught or running into another rock. Valen stopped, turned around, and gripped his sword... A battle was about to begin... [EDIT] Dude, you didn't have to edit it RIGHT BEFORE I posted lol... oh well, post stands as is.[/EDIT]
Originally posted by Tasis Maybe you could make your Mommy eat staples o.O Seriously, if she doesn't want to do anything about it, and doesn't want anybody's help. Force it upon her. You can't just let your Mom die, as un-close to her as you are. I'm not sure what you could do, but do something, you should.
I was just about to say that too... Anyway, cereal has a bunch of Iron in it, so maybe you could force her into eating it... try the guilt trip... usually works everytime... but if it is her will not to eat, there's nothing you can do about it. I have had a problem like that for about a year or so now (something majorly worse)... about someone's willpower, and as I have learned, yes, you can hep them now, but if you don't keep helping them, they will eventually stop what you were helping them to do. Thus returning to the state you tried to help them in. So, good luck... -Valen

Just as that was going on, Valen had decided to go look for his weapon, since there were no more demons coming through the gate. He walked around, picking up and moving stones and bricks. He walked around the temple, and who did he see about to get killed? None other than Karina. He ducked behind another pile of rubble. Valen: Man, It's another one of those assassin things... Hmmm my crimson blast won't effect it, but I have to do something! Valen aimed a crimson blast at the assassin's head. He fired it. It exploded on the assassin's head as planned, then Karina jumped forward and turned around to see who had done that. She saw it was Valen and that there was an assassin right behind her. He fired another one, banking it off of a peice of glass that was coincidentally sitting there. The blast hit the assassin in the back of the head, leaving just enough time for Karina to throw Valen his weapon. Karina: Valen! Catch! She threw his Isis Katana to him as she started running towards him. He gripped the Isis Katana's hilt and walked toward the assassin... He turned back to Karina. Valen: Thanks...

A young elf with the Isis Dagger on his belt with a crossbow and quiver across his back, wearing mostly black stood from his seat. He glared at the council, like they could easily send more troops. Valen: I can sacrifice two thousand... Easily. If you need more, I have more. How's that? His eyes went crimson as he sat back down. The council looked at him as if he was crazy. Nobody would willingly send out that many troops into a war... Not unless they had a plan...

Valen: Must we really wait for them? This place could go down at any moment, I mean look at it... The temple was in pretty bad shape. The windows were cracked, the stone was weak and looked like it was ready to collapse. With all the shakings while the pathways and door opened, it was NOT very safe place. Venna: Yeah, but what if... Valen: What if nothing! I'm heading out of here now. I'll see you later. Valen walked down the path to the far left. Moments later, there was a mild rumble. After a few seconds, it gradually got louder. Valen was then seen running from that corridor followed by a huge blast of water. The water hit Valen, pinning him against the wall. Venna just looked at him and smirked. Venna: I told you you should have waited... Valen: ... Valen dropped to the floor in a puddle of water. He then got up and walked down the second corridor. This time, instead of a blast of water, fifteen spears came flying at him. He turned and deflected the spears with his Isis Katana and decided to just go sit by the Alter and wait for the others...

Valen tried to get up and fly, but it was futile. The broken wing stopped Valen from being able to fly, and with his weapon gone, he had to rely on basic skills he was taught when he was about a thousand or so years younger. He wasn't too happy that he couldn't fly. He also just hoped he wasn't attacked, for the attacker's sake... Seconds later, he stood back up, glared at where the portal had been, then glanced at the gate. This was not good. He did the only thing he could... He looked for a pile of rubble and went behind it. It looked as though he was hiding out from the battle, which he was... until he could think of something. He saw a few demons fly overhead at a remarkable speed. They were headed towards the temple. Sure they could hold off the ones already there, but Valen couldn't just give up... He did the first thing that came to his mind... He gleamed at this opportunity to do something he hadn't done in over a thousand years... Valen focused all his remaining energy. His hands went out, facing the gate and demons. His hands glowed crimson as orbs with a golden veil began forming in front of his open palms. It was his Crimson Blast, with a bit of a Holy basis in the orbs. They shot from his hands like a gatling gun -- Rapid. They hurled towards the demons, giving off a happy whistle as they flew through the air. One blast shot through six demons and destroyed them on contact, then exploded, destroying eleven more demons. Hundreds of these orbs were flying at the demons faster than they could react. Valen had helped stop this wave of demons, but for how much longer, he could not say. He could tell the demons were coming yet again. He took this chance to glance around for his weapon. He didn't see it. He ducked behind the rubble once again, hoping to recharge himself... Valen: Damn... will this chaos never end!? ... And where the hell did that damned demon throw my weapon!?

Yes, that is true, but it would only be for certain forums... that way it won't get out of hand... but maybe that's just me... Although, I don't think it's possible to allow members without the Mod/Admin status to actually do that... I've run a Vb before and I've never seen the option or any hacks that'll allow it...
-
Yeah, especially in the Recruitment forum. All these damned n00bs keep posting in Rpg Signups that were declaired "Closed" and then they go screw up the rpg with their posts. I'm in favor for the close option, at least for the Recruitment forum... Those bloody n00bs are getting annoying... Same for the Battle Arena; Spars have ended, the n00bs post and spam in them to get their post count higher... Thus why we would need the Close option, or find some way to password protect a thread from people replying to it :cross:... Just a thought... -Valen

Valen jolted above the demons, slicing as many as he could on his way up. The viles had hit and this city was going down. He knew that, so he did the only thing he could think of to even give the army a chance... Crimson Judgement Beam... The sky went dark as Valen's body became surrounded in a crimson light. Ryan saw this and watched in anticipation of what Valen was going to do next. Lightning started coming from the sky and Valen's body. His eyes went white as held out his hands, which were now covered in a golden light. A small orb began to form in both of his palms as he aimed them at the demons that were coming into the city. Suddenly, in a flash of crimson light, a beam about 90feet wide came crashing down upon the demons below, destroying them on impact. The beam arose to Ryan as he moved out of the way. This went on for a small while. It was futile, the demons just kept coming in. He wasn't a stupid archangel. He knew when it was time to flee, but he couldn't just leave the army and Karina there. The army was almsot out of arrows and the forces of the city were slowly being worn down. They would not give up hope so soon, but they knew the outlook wasn't that good... Valen: Well that sucked... Anytime now this city will be lowered into the burning pits of hell. I tried, I have no regrets. He continued to fire his beam until he couldn't fire it anymore. He flew back down through the demons, slashing and slashing through as many demons as he could. They wouldn't stop coming. But he continued to slash, hoping something would go right for a change...

Valen: Let's go! The three ran through the catacombs passing all the undeads' corpses along the way. On their wat there, they did get stopped by a few undead in their way, but nothing a little battle couldn't fix. A few moments had passed before Ari skid to a stop. Valen and Vahn almost ran into her. Vahn: Ari! You really need to stop doing that! Ari: Haha sorry, but at least you didn't hit a wall! Vahn: ... true... now, why did you stop so suddenly? Ari pointed into the darkness at a shadowy figure standing in the distance, accompanied by another shadowy figure standing near. They walked slowly up to the two...
