They helped him for hours, and as the time went by, he got better and better at it. Eight hours into it, Vahn was able to walk a short distance. His legs were still too weak to support him for more than a couple minutes. Over the next few days, Vahn got stronger and didn't need the wheelchair anymore. The three ate and packed food and drink for their journey to find Karina. It only took them about twenty minutes to get ready and they headed out the door. Vahn and Ari went ahead while Valen locked the door. He looked to the sky as if telling Karina that they were on their way to find her...[/i][/color]

Blood was running from the corpse for a while as Valen just stood there and watched, his wings finally shortening back into his body. He walked onward to the center of the city. A few hours later, he finally reached the center. It was on a higher land than the others and was made of marble and gold... This was the temple he had been looking for. It wasn't destroyed yet. [color=blue]Yes, and when you get into a battle with Five Cactaurs, you have to think fast... hopefully you have an item (I forgot which one it is) that boosts your compatability with Leviathan (Drawn from Garden Master N.O.R.G. around the beginning of Disc 2) to 1000 or use any items you can to boost GF Compatability to it's max for a character... except Carbuncle... s/he's just cute and casts reflect (or was it Protect?) on the whole party... Then after you're sure the GFs can come out as soon as you select it (usually takes between 950-1000 comp. [Check in the GF command on the menu]), then you're home free for the 100AP you get from a 5 Cactaur battle... good luck![/color]

Well, the Zelda series got me into video games... but my favorite Mario game would have to be... Lost Levels or SMB3.... I liked Lost Levels because it never ended! it just kept going on and on and on and on... then you get to Bowser... beat him.... and here you are going into Wolrd A-A, A-B, A-C and so on. I guess it was the fact that you could be small and have the fire power ability by eating two of the shrooms that make you grow... Not one.... lose it by getting hit, then eat another one... I mean you get a block that gives you a mushroom.... follow it to the next block that does, eat em both. You'll be small Mario, but be able to shoot fireballs. I learned that trick around the time The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past came out on SNES... man, those were the days... sitting back with friends, having a Mario party where we would go about acting like the characters from SMB and play the games until we either fell asleep, had to go home, or passed out...

Either Water or Death junctions. Those work best... Oh yes... just leave him in the box -- fainted for about a week or so of play and he won't be too happy... There's another thing i noticed too... depending on his status, I.e., If he was poisoned, paralyzed, sleep, etc. When you check him, he'll reflect those status changes... Plus sometimes he'll try to act funny... Like in Vermillion City, when you're fishing... and you battle a Magikarp, check Pikachu then... he's playing with the bucket...

Could it have been that Pikachu followed you and zapped the hell out of you if you neglect(sp?) it?

Coming from one who never used a GameShark or any cheat on a pokemon game, I find them rather offensive. Especially the glitches... It's like they're sitting there... staring you down... waiting on you to realize you can't do it by yourself, you need help, you're a weakling! But that's what drives me to beat the game -- FULLY without a GameShark, cheat, and/or glitch. Once I finally do beat the game, I'm happy knowing that I didn't have to cheat to win... Now my cousin on the other hand... he's a spoiled brat and he won't buy a game unless there's a GameShark cheat and/or a Players Guide to lead him through the game. Pathetic he is...

I agree with Co... er.. Flash... Plus, one of the members of Korn went to form some hip hop band... or group or whatever... I'll have to dig out the flier they gave out at the concert later... And a singer that has kinda faded out is Marilyn Manson... besides his remakes of older songs, he's as good as dead... But I figure it's a bug with the new MSN service that they really need to fix. Try going to the MSN messenger site and downloading one for like... Win98 or something... Liam, you really should run a VScan of your computer... and update your DAT files... if you have McAfee Virus Scan, click the update button... despite what it says, the update for the DAT files is free. Once you update them (and you should go to the website and update your engine[the scanner]), your scans should go much quicker. By the way, you know all those Virus Warning letters they send in email? Most of them have been going around for years. People have started sending viruses in those emails because they KNOW people think it's a harmless hoax... so I warn you... if you get a virus warning email more than three times (the same one more than three times), delete it. No, I do not believe in prophecies, mediums, channelers, etc. But no offense to anyone, and I don't intend on starting anything with this, but the bible is not 100% correct. What year is it? 2002? Did not the bible say the apocalypse will come in the year 2000? Please, do correct me if I am wrong, but they did find an astroid that will pass within a mile of us in about 878 years or so... that could be the apocalypse... But other than that, I don't believe in prophecies at all... not even the divine prophecies. I live by, and believe my own theories and predictions, for I work toward making my predictions come true. And if one doesn't, I don't start a big thing about it being wrong... it was just a guess... as is all these other prophecies... Valen: the Battle of the Elements... Yes, I remember a bit of that battle... Go get Vahn... I feel a flashback coming on... [i]Ari goes to get Vahn and the both of them gather around Valen for their story.[/i] Valen: It was about 1380 or so years ago when the town I swore to protect was destroyed by three demonic people. Tyron and Visor, the two old ones that were just here, found me benieth a pile of rubble and we went on a little journey. Shortly after they found me, we met up with Karina. So the four of us went and fought monsters along the way. Our main goal was to find the source of all the destruction... all we could find were three demons destroying every town they came across. Until we met up with Wolf... he was a good warrior... silver fur... too bad he's long gone... anyway, once we all went through a few months of total hell, we finally met up with Dymonic himself... the leader of the demons... I was then killed by my father's body posessed by Lacroix, one of the demons... I don't know what happened after I died... Ari: Wow... will you tell my father when and if he returns? Valen: sure... Vahn: ...

Valen: Well, first you must learn how to hold the staff. [i]Valen picked up the staff and showed Ari how to hold it by placing her hands in the right spot on it.[/i] Valen: Got that part? Ari: Yep. Valen: Good, then we can go on to step two. Casting a spell with it. Ari: Casting a spell? Inside? Valen: You're right... [i]They both go outside and finish learning how to cast a spell with the staff. He then teaches her about how to attack with one and not break the staff if she ever needed to attack. Next it was on to defense. He showed her how to defend with the staff. All this took most of the day to do, but she was a quick learner. Later that day, they came back inside and sat down to take a rest. Valen fixed dinner for them and they promised to go look for Karina in the morning.[/i]
