1. Do you mean Tears for Fears? Or is it some other band with a very similar name... O_o Anyway, if you do mean Tears for Fears, I like the songs of them I've heard... which is like 3, heh.
2. There's nothing wrong with the post as I see it... Anyway, usually people seem dissatisfied with me. That's about all I can think of to say.
3.
Originally posted by Shyguy And yes, the link to my Otaku Personality Quiz is in my sig site.
Your poll be whack yo. Ain't no way I be like James. He'd be agreein' with my arse. Recognize.
4. You guys have any vocalists you just love? I'm listening to a song and just thinking "wow... I wish I could do that with my voice". Do you ever think that? Basically I'm asking which vocalists you think are really talented at what they do.
5. The point with a band is that they should be able to become popular by doing what they do, rather than copy the flavor of the month and reap the benefits that way... Bands are people too though... they have to pay bills, buy food and clothes, etc. When you have a band, the money you earn is divided by 3/4/5 whatever... and a lot of the money goes to your label and such as well. You have to be a big act in order for you to have any sort of nice car at all, let alone multiple ones.
6. Man, I've always wanted a complete slave girl. More like a robot really... just because people with flaws can become nuisances... which is everybody obviously.
7. On top of that, you never really know the band's motivation for their change anyway. I could give examples but nobody cares.
8. I so agree with you... I'm so tired of hearing that term... just listen to them if you like them... not if you don't agree with their reasons for creating the music.
9. I'd probably be surprised to see how many things I could live without. So I don't think there's anything to list for me.
10. You're darn right I have Dejavu. It's like the best LUNA SEA song ever... I even have four different versions of it. Anyway, I can sense when people are coming close to me... but maybe that's because I can hear them. Didn't realize there were so many weirdos here.
11. Trance is an interesting style, though I think I'm hearing a less "hard-core" version of it when I listen to move's music, which is probably more like "trance influenced". I know Transtic Nerve would know.
12. I've never been into rap (no matter what country it's from), but RIP SLYME seems to be a very popular rapper. You might wanna check out him. I've also heard good things about ZEEBRA, though I've never heard them either... If you're into the rap-rock type stuff like Limp Bizkit, then try Dragon Ash, since they're basically the same. And if you dig female rap try Heartsdales.
13. There's already been a Ring thread, it's probably on the next page by now though...
14.
Originally posted by DBZChikaGhan I got, The Harlequin the first time, and Wrist Cutter the second time. Why do I get the two most depressed people on the list? Answer:Because Ken isn't on the quiz.
I'm not depressed in the least. I'm just bitter and pessimistic at everything all the time.
15.
Originally posted by shadowdramon A little off-topic here: Is there a limit as to much downloaded media (not just MP3s but videos as well) you can have on your PC?
However much your hard drive can hold.
16. I get to go to Japan. Bwahahaha. So I guess that means I just want more money to spend there.
17. I've got 1,775 MP3s. I have no clue how many are ripped by myself, maybe around 400? Yeah, pathetic, I know. But when you have to pay $30 per CD, let's see how many you can rip -_- And Transtic's guide is kickass if you plan on purchasing foreign CDs.
18.
Originally posted by Break The majority sucks, they're just people that are scared to show their true feelings and views just to be popular V_V sad.. they're fake.
And the people who go against the crowd are any less fake? Let's not be making such large generalizations.
19. Vegitto4, you're looking at the word "normal" through a sterotypical angsty outcast teenager view. LOL. The word is c'est la vie. A year of French has come in more helpful than I thought.
20. I have been a fan of Sting and his works with The Police for like ten years... I am not particularly a fan of Enya or Sarah McLachlan, but I enjoy their music nonetheless. Just don't go out of my way to listen to it, ya know? And Laruku IS in the public eye. Just not in America's.
21. The main problem with stereotypes is they create a group of holier-than-thou people who go around playing cop with everyone else. Example: "So, yesterday I went to a Mexican restaurant..." "Excuse me, you went where?" "A Mexican restaurant." "You incosiderate a-hole, it's Spanish-American restaurant." That specific example has never occured with me, but equally ludicrous ones have. It's not just skin color either... lotsa people out there hot on the spot to break to protect all kinds of minorities.
22.
Originally posted by roxieortatiana I don't really think I'm like wrist cutter.
Hopefully not, we certainly don't need another me on these boards.
23. I got myself. Bleh, that's not very fun. EDIT: Redid the test with "better-fitting" answers and I got Anna. She should be offended, hehe. So, in such a case, methinks your quiz needs fixing.
24. 1. Exactly 2. D'oh! 3. Stephen Hawking? 4. Jay 5. Bouvier (I think that's French...) 6. In the dried out river 7. Bartholemew
