1.
I am very mature for my age unlike most guys who happened to think about sex constantly and other things myself I think about girls but never ina negatory or nasty thing, but in a daily observing way.
The most ironic thing about this statement is that in saying it, he hopes to impress girls and eventually land them in bed. Well done my friend.
  2. Say, why aren't I a mod? I HAVE been here a long time. Veteran status has got to count for something. If I haven't been banned yet I must be alright.
  3.
If I saw a person get their brains blown out I probably wouldn't do anything(maybe laugh a little depending on who it is)
Saying that makes you sound really mysterious and tough.
  4.
it is my life and i should keep it in control.
You don't seem to be doing a very good job of it. You just about killed your mother before you "fell in love". I'd hate to think what you would do when the relationship ends.
  5.
i hated everyone,i didn't have a social life, my dad is 80, my mom is a psychopath (i threatened her with a knife once), i wanted to kill everyone including myself, everyone hated me and made fun of me and they didn't want to talk to me. but somehow i overcame all that **** and found love i actually found out that love was what i needed to get myself out of the darkness.
Are you living in a soap opera or something?
  6.
I may still whistle at hot girls and stuff
Uh huh.
but I don't date anymore.
Judging from your first quote, you probably don't have a lot of choice in the matter.

    Sting

My brother was into Sting, and whatever he likes I usually end up liking. I've been listening to Sting for the majority of my life now. I haven't heard his two albums since "Mercury Falling" though. MF was pretty good but after this point his music seemed to change to something I just didn't care for much. I dunno, I haven't given it too much of a chance, but oh well. My favorite album of his would definitely be "The Soul Cages". It blows away all of his other albums, definitely.
  8. Wow Adahn, you should totally be published. This is groundbreaking and entirely original.
  9.
What good do cigarettes or alcohol do?
None. But you can't just ban them now. It's a little late for that; it's not going to stop anybody. They put a tax on cigarettes, and what did people do? They started ordering from places that would cut the tax.
The real question is why should these potentially harmful products be legalized and the one word answer is [B]LIBERTY[/B'].
I suppose we should have the liberty to kill people too? I don't get what your point is. Having a law against substances that will kill you is a bad thing? Like I said, people didn't realize the effects of cigarettes and alcohol and such when they were making laws. And as we've seen from "prohibition", banning them is basically impossible at this point. The reason they're legal is because we can't do much to stop them at this point.
We have the liberty to get in a car when the death rate due to car crashes is tremendous.
Yeah, let's ban cars. Good plan  Yes the death rate in cars is high, but they serve a purpose. They are the backbone of America at this point, until we can develop something else.
People should be able to choose for themselves what "risky" they want to participate in and should suffer the consequences of their actions.
Yes, because doing pot only affects the user after all. "And if you can't tell, I was being sarcastic." It's not just "you do pot for awhile and then you die early." It fucks you up which in turn fucks with everyone else. Having sex is a totally different situation (though I agree we need more laws regarding who can and cannot have sex).
  10.
I tend to like glasses on other people -- provided that the glasses are at least mildly fashionable, of course. ~_^ I actually think that glasses can be quite a sexy/attractive accessory.
It's actually kind of a fetish, which I've heard is called "girls with glasses". I guess you could say "guys with glasses" if that's more of your thing.
  11. "Live to the point of tears." Read a few works by Albert Camus if you're feeling a bit disenchanted.
  12.
Wear braces or a retainer for a few years and you feel naked without them.
Maybe you did. I can't say any particular style of clothing/accessory makes me act differently around people. I always act the same regardless.
  13.
Besides, the Bible contains 6 admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments towards heterosexuals. Don't you think that means that the heterosexuals need more guidance?
No, because the 362 admonishments apply not only to heterosexuals but homosexuals as well, whereas the 6 admonishments to homosexuals are specific to them. I think the better way to apply this statistic would be "There are only 6 admonishments to homosexuality in the entire Bible. So why is it on the top of some people's list?"
  14.
Well yeah of course wrist cutter. But who really wants[/i'] to live with their parents after turning 18, heh.
Most people can't afford moving out for quite some time. Usually the only people who get out of the house are those who go to an out of state college that their parents are probably paying for.
  15.
At those ages, you are no longer a child but an adult, and your parents can't run your life anymore. They may not want you to, but as long as you would be doing it legally they can't stop you.
As long as you're living with them they can.
  16.
Also, there is no reason for a woman to change her name to that of her husband
That's the way things have always been done and the only reason not to follow it is because you're some bra-burning feminazi with hairy armpits, in which case you'll probably never get married anyway.
  17.
As for the guys...would you care if your spouse kept her last name or took yours? Is it a big deal for her to take your last name?
Yes, it's a big deal to me. It's an assertion of my male dominance.
  18.
And if you don't beleive me, that's your problem. I really don't care, suicide looks good to me right now as well.
Do it. I DARE you. Oh, but a game might cheer you up. I'm thinking of a word that starts with 'F' and ends with 'D'. It rhymes with "BROAD".
  19. Surprisingly you seem to not be the least bit upset over this.
  20.
I have a crush/ am in love
Yes, because they pretty much are the same thing. I suggest you forget about him. Love is expensive and not worth the time.
  21.
Wow, doesn't this show that the members of Otakuboards, really don't know much about music...especially Japanese Music. For a website with people who love cartoons of Asia- I'd figure that they'd like the music too...guess not.
Either that or it just shows they don'y want to talk about visual kei flavor of the month bands.
  22. Males are being portrayed as lazy, slovenly, stupid and neglegent these days. And if you disagree you should watch a sitcom sometime. Hell, you don't even have to look past the Simpsons, the ultimate show for stereotypes. I'd be offended but I simply can't muster up the energy.
  23.
America was built upon the basis of Religious freedom. Puritans broke away from the corrupt Church of England to create their own sanctuary of free will. To believe that your faith is [b]the[/b'] faith is to perpetuate the ignorance which has plagued generations upon generations of your so called 'faithful'. If you truly believe in God, you would understand that all judgement comes from one mouth, His, and that your only responsibility on earth is to maintain your own good standing, not to condemn those with whom you disagree for you own blinded reasons. That in mind, hypocrisy entangles you.
Here's where you took a wrong turn. You are free to believe whatever you want in this country. And you are free to say whatever you want. But you can't go acting like someone is infringing upon your rights when they say you can't call yourself this or that, because THAT is their right too as a citizen. What Midnight Rush was saying, originally, had a good point. "If you are, and I'm not asking you to, going to believe TRULY in Christianity, then you believe that your faith is the ONLY faith. Combining universal floating point liberalism with Christianity, Islam, Judaism, or Hindu is a total perversion of what these faiths teach." What he's saying is: either you believe in Christianity or you don't. You can take from some of its teachings and form your own philosophy/religion, but by calling it "Christianity", you're twisting the word. Understandably some Christians will get upset. So either you're a Christian or you aren't... you can't be "Christian and Buddhist" or any other combination. You're either in or you're out. "Interesting how these people who see themselves as rightious Christine people immediately call any other religion a tool of Satan." In the Christian faith they are indeed tools of Satan. Because as I said you're either in or you're out; there's no middle road. Do I need to talk about the broad and narrow paths? "Though it may show they have a lot of faith, it also shows their own close-mindedness." You're throwing out buzzwords. It's not close-mindedness, it's simply the fact that if you're not IN you're OUT and in Christianity that is the whole basis. To ignore that so you can please everyone, you no longer are a Christian. Again, there isn't a middle option. "Can they not even consider for one moment that there is more to religion in general than their own beliefs?" They know it exists, but they have found their 'truth' and they are sticking to it. To open up to ideas from other religions would be to leave the Christian religion altogether. Again, in, or out. "Christianity was certainly not the first religion, and it's deffinately no more or less valid than any other." Correct. "You could use the phrase "It doesn't matter what kind of faith you have, as long as you have faith."" I don't think God would feel the same way. "No offense but I think it's a little obserred to believe that a man who DIED can come back whenever he likes! It makes no sense!" Then don't believe it and shut up. Goodness. "Plus we dont damn ourselves!" Yes, you do, from a Christian perspective. You have chosen to go against God, and have thus damned yourself. In or out, and you're out. But hey, why not just make up your own religion where anyone who doesn't follow it is damned to HFIL? Then you can go around thinking everyone is damned too. "How do u know if you're going to heaven or hell?" Nobody knows, and hopefully nobody is claiming to. "Just because you are a "chrstian" doesn't mean your going to a great place after death! You have NO way of saying where you're going to or not going to go!!!!!!!!!!" Precisely. No one was indicating otherwise. But in the Christian faith it's either Heaven or Hell. "Fork your God because there is no God, never was a God and will never be a God. And there's nothing insecure about me. Insecure people are the ones who contrive fables to live by." Take back what you said before about "freedom of religion", huh? Even though this doesn't actually violate anyone's rights, it does by your earlier definition. "How in the hell did I prove your point? I felt offended by your respond so I answered with anger! what do you expect????" Just because you're offended doesn't mean you need to be angry. There are other ways to go about these things, you know. "How do you know if adam and eve or the garden of whatever is true? you weren't there?" That's why it's called "faith". " ALSO! WHICH ONE IS GOD????? GOD OR JESUS? YOU'VE JUST SCREWED YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU REFERED THEM TO BE THE SAME PERSON WHENCE FORTH YOUR BIBLE SAYS THEY R TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE!" It's called Trinity.
  24. kenshinsbabe, sooner or later you will find out that almost everyone is an idiot. In fact, you may even discover that you yourself are an idiot. Don't worry, most idiots could potentially improve but are often too stupid to realize it. What you have described is not actually a case of stupidity, however. Your inability to differentiate between stupidity and being talentless may indicate that you have been inflicted with the disease, and not the person you have described. To help you through this time, I give to you my patented, almost fail-proof plan: a) Stop watching TV. b) Stop listening to whatever music it is you listen to. c) Pay attention in school, do your work, get good grades. d) Do as your parents tell you (if age is wisdom as you imply, then this is obvious). e) Get lots of sleep, eat right, exercise. f) Abandon all of your friends, because they're probably idiots too. g) Don't have sex. For maximum results, do all of these things. Any combination will help your condition, however. All part of wrist cutter's plan for a better America. Vote for me in 2004.
  25. Megaman 2 is the best. It got too complicated after that. This was just right.
