Well, from a Japanese perspective, "manga" would mean comic. It's formed by two symbols - the first meaning "cartoon" and the other meaning "picture"... so yeah, when they say "manga" in Japan, they're talking about comics. Keep in mind, it isn't limited to just anime-style comics. But that's what we refer to when we say "manga" here in America. Anime, when used in Japan, means cartoon. It's a borrowed word from the French. When we say "anime" in America, it refers to Japanese cartoons drawn in "anime-style"... though really they'd use anime for non-anime cartoons as well in Japan. Hentai... hmm this is a bit more complicated. First off, it can be written a few different ways which have different meanings. But when looking at the "pervert" one alone it also has a few other meanings - transformation and abnormality. Oddly enough, the two symbols that make up 'hentai' basically mean 'strange attitude'. But the point is that hentai does not mean pornographic anime. It's more of a name you would call a pervert... in fact pervert is basically the best way to translate it. That's why there's "hentai anime"... pervert anime.

I'd say it's because of her nice breasts, but something about them makes them seem fake. Perhaps it's because they're animated...

I think the Japanese have it down - they can love things like seasons and animals, but when it comes to their lover or whatever, they say something more along the lines of "really like". And I was speaking purely from a personal point of view. Love, obviously for you, is a many splendid thing as the old song goes. But it isn't my cup of tea anymore as I've grown up a bit and realized some things. I disagree with masturbation not being "pervy" though. It may be "normal" but that's because most people are perverted (at least at times). I'll admit to doing it occasionally; but I always feel horrible afterwards. I don't think it's right to just write it off as "something everyone does, so it's ok", because really, it isn't. Plus, it's kind of embarrassing to say you lost your virginity to your fu[i][/i]ckin' hand.

I like almost all the music from GTO. "Driver's High" - L'Arc~en~Ciel "hitori no yoru" - Porno Graffitti "Poison" - sorimachi takashi NONE of those songs are "anime" songs... just songs the artists made, and were later chosen to suit the anime. That's why they're the best anime songs, 'cuz they waste on all that Japanese poser music you listed :P

Yes, I'm looking for full episodes of the anime "Marmalade Boy" online, so I can download and watch them for free. And before you get on me about being an illegal and cheap jerk, I should tell you that I'm not about to pay hundreds of dollars to buy the tapes (assuming there are any) just because I want some nostalgia. I've seen the show already, but I'd like to view it again. So anyway... I'm just looking for a place to download Marmalade Boy episodes. Whether it be on an FTP, some kind of file-sharing program, Streamload, or directly off the web - I'd just like to watch it again. Thanks for the help.
