Happy voting.
Originally posted by James You might be surprised at how many bands use electronic-based drums and accessories. :)
No, I wouldn't, my bands just don't swing like that. Except a few songs here and there, in which they do use electric drums.
Originally posted by James most modern rock bands utilize a wide range of electronics (No Doubt mostly uses drum machines these days) in order to produce specific sounds/distortions.
I must quote Cameron of Glam Japan - "GET A DRUMMER.. YOU SOUND BAD!" That about sums up my opinion on bands who use drum machines.
Originally posted by James I said: religious-right.
Sorry, I misinterpreted that.
Originally posted by James A lot of the religious-right try to maintain that sexuality is chosen, so that they can inforce their zero-tolerance of alternative sexuality.
I think that's a pretty rash generalization. I do not think a lot of religious people have zero tolerance of gays. It's like saying most Muslims are homocidal maniacs due to a few radicals who present a poor reputation for the rest. There are plenty of jerk religious people who hate and despite gays, but there are far more who are tolerant.
Originally posted by Saiyangohan2002 Soft cell's is sure alot better than that antichrist idiot's version
I've never heard Manson's cover of the song but that doesn't really matter. I personally disagree with a lot of the messages he presents in his music, and the whole "antichrist" image he has isn't for me either (seeing as how I am a Christian). But that doesn't change anything. I still find him to be a very intelligent person. I've seen him in interviews and read some of his and he always comes off to me as intelligent and not just some moron trying to make money off being antichrist. But of course I don't know him personally and cannot make that judgement. But then neither can you. I also must say he's a talented musician from what I've heard so far. I don't appreciate his lyrics at all, but his music has its moments from what I've heard.
Originally posted by SSJ4BROLLI wrist cutter you're an idiot. just because something is easy for you doesn't mean that it's easy for others. i found french quite easy. i'm half korean and i think that chinese and japanese would be hard to learn with all the characters. if anyone is a retard you are. everyone knows that if you practice something that you get better at it.
Stop talking out of your ***. As I said in my post, the characters just seem hard because there are many. it's something you get used to, it doesn't mean it's hard because there are a lot of them. Read my damn post before you go insulting me about it. And that last quote you said was exactly my point. People just want to instantly know kanji without practicing it but it isn't going to happen. You do have to work a little to know kanji, but it isn't really thinking, just memorizing. Kanji just intimidates people, but it isn't hard. Oh, and might I add, the Chinese recently made their writing system a bit easier, reducing the number of symbols to 255 - a little over half of the characters we English speaking people know (and don't say we only have 26).

If you think Japanese or Chinese is hard to learn you must be a retard. I've dabbled a bit in four other languages and by far the easiest for me was Japanese. I found French the hardest. Japanese writing isn't hard, it's just big and intimidating. Persistance and repetition are all you need though and Japanese is a piece of cake.

The problem with America's music isn't about being current or trendy, but that it all sucks.
