I realize this is in the PC section, but they're exactly the same game... so check out this thread instead: http://www.otakuboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14987 It's a lot more active than a thread in here would currently be.

The first thing I do on here is look at the latest posts and find the ones posted by the most annoying, moronic and obnoxious people here. It generally is pretty fun to see if they can top themselves.

This place is completely dead, so I'll be surprised if I get much of a response on this. I bought a new Xbox and Xbox live. Basically, I'm wanting to know who else have Live, what their username is and what games they have for it. Perhaps some of us can meet up and play a few games. So my name is Semjaza. The only full game I currently have is Tetris Worlds, but I hope to get some others soon.

Writing Ultimates (Pseudo-Official Comics in General Thread!)
Semjaza replied to Semjaza's topic in Creative Works
Looks like a pretty crappy comic week this Wednesday. There's very little out that interests me other than the obvious -- 1602. For those that don't know it basically takes current Marvel characters and sticks them into roles in the 1600s. Looks very cool. It's $3.50 though, so I'm hoping it's a decent size. Otherwise I guess I can try to grab Fallen Angel #2 and see how that is. -
This sort of stuff belongs in the Square/Enix forum instead of Sony. Understandable mistake. It's as Gohan Egret says... although members of Square have spoken about making a FF7 sequel in the past. It was mostly just candid remarks though. In any case, there is a FFX-2 thread, and thus this thread is useless.

I'm currently in college. I'm majoring in interactive media. Web design is what I'd like to do, but we'll see. I don't know what I'm really going to do... mostly because you never know what jobs are out there. At this point in my life, such things seem so futile as it is. All the money I make at work basically goes to my car, which I mostly use to drive to work in the first place. I'm oiling this big, broken machine it by doing all this stuff I really would rather not do, but unexplainably have to. It's like if you try to explain your role in society on that basic level, you just wind up talking in a circle. It's all so intertwined that you either work with it, or completely remove yourself from it. I don't know what's worse. I guess all you can do is do something you like, because you're stuck inside this circle no matter what. So yeah, I don't really know what I'm going to do or what my future might hold. All I know is that I am slightly looking forward to seeing what I can accomplish, while the rest of me is not looking foward to becoming a slave to a pay check for the next 45 years. I think if I open my own music store, I'd at least accomplish enough that I'd be content with my choices and my future... even if the store didn't stick around.

There's a thread on Sonic Heroes right now as well, so if you want more information on that game check that out. http://www.otakuboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26479 Otherwise, there's no word on an officially titled SA3, although I'd say this is basically SA3 at heart.

I recently bought another Xbox. I had sold my old one way back. I also picked up Live, KotOR and the hi-definition adapter so I could run stuff in progressive scan on my HDTV. Xbox has the same cons as any other system. I think the main pros are Live and the hard drive to be honest.

Someone will probably close this for "lack of discussion," but who knows. I like the idea of the thread, so we'll see what happens. Currently I am listening to Queens of the Stone Age's 'Gonna Leave You' off Songs for the Deaf. I wanted to make another thread on these guys. There was one way back, but I still think they are very unappreciated. They're one of the best straight out hard rock bands there is right now, and Songs for the Deaf is nearly flawless. Otherwise, my banner automatically updates itself to whatever song I'm listening to in Winamp at the current time. So just look at that.

I had one question. Charles wasn't sure of it yet. I doubt this is in there. In Hot Shots Golf 3, there are a few random customizing things that I like. The first being you can choose the season, which affects a lot of things. Is this in Mario Golf at all? I'd have to assume there can be random wind at the least, as well as rain... but I don't know. The second thing is that the game gives you credits based on how well you play courses. You can use this money to buy new items, new golf club bags (that affect your character's playing), new caddies and so on. Does Mario Golf has something similiar to this at all?
-
I put off buying this game because I bought Hot Shots Golf 3 instead of only $10. They're both made by Camelot, so I'm sure there are many similiarites. I played the Mario Golf demo at Circuit City well before it came out, and I thought it was quite good. It was set on Automatic though, which I thought was way too simple. I know Charles and Jenn (RPCrazy) both have this game too. I plan on just renting it.

I don't know why the last two people named people not even on OB. That's not what this thread is about. I'm not related to anyone here thank, god. I don't even know anyone here in my everyday life off the boards.

Well, I meant that it can't act on a personal level. Even if it was able to PM members when they first join, I don't think it would be affective because everyone would know it was an automated response. It just seems to me that most of the new or poor members don't respond unless they are put on the line and warned in some way. I can't see them doing anything about it unless there was some risk involved and an actual mod doing the warning.
-
If someone isn't going to read the rules... they most likely aren't going to read a PM or an e-mail either. However, it seems like you're also talking about people who seemingly just don't notice them for whatever reason. In that case, I don't see what's wrong with the current situation. These sorts of ideas are more trouble than they're worth, in my opinion, because we simply have to click two things to close a thread. Then write some short thing about why and point them to the rules. It is all that needs to be done. If they don't take their own initiative and get those things taken care of, that's their problem. We're meant to clean up things and keep things in line. I personally don't want to be a babysitting service. They are supposed to read the rules when they register, if they don't... oh well. If they're bad enough they're told about the rules again as it is. I severely doubt that if that doesn't do anything (or the sight of a bunch of closed threads), simply PMing them a reminder would do jack. Besides, it seems to me that the most direct way of doing things is the best. People simply respond more if they're getting individual attention from a specific person about specific things. OtakuBot can not provide that in any way.

Thanks Pikelets :D. Thanks Ken... I had no idea you and I were so close date-wise lol. Cool picture. I see it makes use of my excellent self portrait.

Just don't visit, morons. It's not as if you've made an impression after 10 posts to be remembered here anyway. You might as well not exist in the first place, so deletion wouldn't do much.
Originally posted by Mist I love their pizza. I could live on their pizza.
You have good taste, I must say. Too bad most other people here won't ever get to try it. Whenever someone tells me they don't like that place, I just get so confused. How can you not? I'm like that with Superdawg too.

I like sushi, but no one shares my love of it here that I know. There are a million sushi restaurants downtown though, so I might check them out. They're all like in the same area. The Sushi District, I call it. I love pickeled ginger. Otherwise, I love pizza. Specifically Lou Malnati's pizza. They are famous here for their thick crust pizza. Pan pizza, whatever. I could eat it every day. You can order it anywhere in the country. They send it over air if you want. Otherwise... I LOVE chicken pot pies, corn bread and enchiladas. Dessert... Cheesecake!

I'd say my mom. She's always there for me and when I think she's going to be horribly mad at me about something, she's always very forgiving about it. I'm not a bad kid, but I do a lot of really stupid stuff. I'm glad she's so understanding about it. I must admit I don't really listen to her much the first time though, which gets me into most of my problems.

Writing Ultimates (Pseudo-Official Comics in General Thread!)

Which X-Men line did you buy? Uncanny currently sucks, and I can't say I'm impressed with Ultimate X-Men anymore (although it is far better). X-Statix is going to be hard to get into. Even when I finally got to read the first issue, it's hard to get into. It makes a lot of references to the X-Force, and expects you to basically already know the characters. Shy tells me you can get a paperback of the last X-Force issues though. -
I can't really get any more specific. When they go meet the father, the ex-husband basically right out says he has these powers. He grabs the old man's arm and suddenly you see all these memories and scenes from the past. There's no way it's anything but ESP or psychic abilities. The movie also seems to imply that they find the well due to this guys powers as well... especially considering how suddenly they find it with no indication of them even knowing the area beforehand.
And yeah, some director for Ring 2 as in Ring.
-
I don't regret anything I've done. The past is the past, and I'm done with it. I'm more worried with what's going on now.
-
I'm talking about the ex-husband.They go to meet Sadako's father (or whatever), and suddenly he has some sort of psychic ability when there was absolutely nothing leading up to the idea that he did. I just found that whole idea rather ridiculous. This also lets them somehow magically know exactly where to find her later on.
Ring 2 has the same director as the first, which is good. They're not basing it on Ringu 2, which apparently is a good thing from what I hear.

That's been their whole point and style since their creation. There's quite a few punk bands with similiar styles and ideas to this, and they're not really ever going to get off of it heh. I don't think that Process of Belief is as heavy on it as some of the older discs, but it will always be part of the band. Oh well though.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see the explanation myself :)... Reverse that rescind.
