Part of the reason the first game sucked so hard, in my personal opinion, was the fact that they ruined so many great opportunities with the Disney license. The director of the game didn't even want to do a Disney based game, and I think it shows. I could barely get past how horrible the Alice stage was, since that's one of my favorite films... and it was the first damn level in the game. I won't deny that this doesn't look way cooler than the first game, but I have to really wonder where they're going with this and how much of a dark factor Disney will actually allow in the end (although I'd have to assume Square would have a good deal of creative freedom, especially after the success of the first). Because of all that, I don't see how Mickey suddenly trying to be cool after decades of being corny would change anyone's minds on Disney in general. If it would, I just find that a bit strange personally. If you think that little of them, you're certainly missing out.

Is this that stupid karate tournament show? They'd have to face off against random ninjas in even more random enviroments. Pretty damn lame in my opinion, but to each their own.

You get spam in any forum. That's pretty much irrelevent. However, I can't see a Kenshin forum being made as Anime Lounge itself isn't plagued by millions of Kenshin threads.

Anyone that doesn't think they're important obviously doesn't keep up on news whatsoever. They were so much more violent and ruthless than Saddam could have ever wished to be, and if either ever got into full power it would have been a massive problem.

I was like 6. I think you have to cut me some slack considering. I don't own the game and so I never got to master any of it.

Just because you hate it means nothing. They pull in millions and millions of viewers, and that's all a network cares about.

I love the show. I rarely get to watch CN or Adult Swim, but I've seen some of all of these shows you all go on about... Trigun, Kenshin, etc. I found all of them to be rather uninvolving. Lupin is an exception. I have a good time watching each episode. My only problem with the animation is their hands. They look so damn freaky. Other than that, they repeat a lof of background characters... but so did every other cartoon back then.

I assume you mean that secret pool he had built that was filled with beautiful women. It looked like some Roman bath house. What is Patty and Selma's favorite TV show?

The original is probably the hardest in the series. Everything on is substantially easier. I never had a problem with the other NES Mega Man games. Mega Man 8 was incredibly easy as well, same with the X series. I still have yet to finish the first one, but I've not played it for years. I always had a problem on Guts Man's stage.

Yeah, you can't start off like that. You find the second character pretty early on though, so it's not so bad. There's a third character a bit later as well, and you can play three players if you have a multi-tap.

Somehow I don't find the lack of repsonses surprising. You might as well give in and admit that Linkin Park is the best band ever and totally original despite bands doing the same stuff better for over a decade before they even existed. Then you'll get some responses. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you checked them out. Definitely worth the time.

I think you could probably cover up a decent portion of the skeleton with a crow/raven or something, and it would look quite nice.

I don't see how it matters. Animation is animation and everyone is inspired or interested in something else. They all take cues from eachother, and have for years. I get the feeling that most people think American cartoons have to look like Hanna Barbara cartoons or they are ripping some other company off.

Reviews aren't making it sound so hot. I don't really think I need to see yet another spy spoof movie, but who knows.

The best I've seen in quite some time. The battles look quite fun and fast paced. Animation is excellent. The FMV is extremely professional, and surprisingly in English. I was happy to see the whole "boy with one wing" rumor turned out.

The bluebird is definitely the best part of the picture. The skeleton just seems like an afterthought.

I don't care about this stuff much. It's moronic to me and blaming such things is generally the role of parents not doing their jobs or congressmen with an agenda trying to get re-elected. If a song or a film or a book pushed someone over the edge, you really have to wonder how f-ed up they were in the first place. I think all those things can push emotions enough that they can have some effect, however they aren't the main factor or even a major one. ----------------------------- However, I do care about Marilyn Manson. Those kids DID NOT LIKE the band. In fact, they hated him and called him various derrogatory homosexual names. They liked bands like Rammstein and KMFDM (Rammstein henceforth labeled as "German hate music" for whatever reason. Du Hast is not about what people seem to think it is about, it's about a wedding engagement lol). It all stemmed from some girl on the news for 15 seconds who didn't even know them, claiming they were friends with the "goth" crowd that apparently liked that stuff (putting "goth" in quotes since I don't know why anyone considers Manson goth rock). It wasn't true, and it really annoys me that so many people still think otherwise. Hell, Manson is even blamed by some family for their son's suicide despite him carving the words "Sid Vicious" in his own chest. He was just a late 90s scapegoat.

Street Fighter turned from a tournament into some sort of bizarre love story. I'm still trying to figure out why Guile, the epitome of American, was played by someone whose English can barely be understood. Hell, I'm sure this will turn out better than the planned Crazy Taxi movie. Game movies would turn out well if they took themselves more seriously. If they made this movie like Fight Club, or something to that effect, it would probably rock.

Olga... It's called Korobeneiki or something like that. It's on the Doubble Donkey Disc, if you're interested in finding it. I'd like to go to an Ozma show... They don't have a Chicago date on their site as of yet, but it has to be coming eventually. They seem to play mostly in California, as I think that's where they are based. At the very least, their label is.
