Wouldn't it have been easier to just PM a few mods and let them know, rather than start a thread over it just to complain? Personally, I've not even noticed anyone with extra images in their sigs. Most likely because we don't generally visit the same threads. It's entirely possible that other mods haven't noticed as well. I'm honestly not sitting around hunting these people out, especially since right now I have sigs and avatars turned off because I'm on dialup.

What brand of tablet do you have and what are the dimensions? I'd like to get one eventually... as of right now, anything I make is strictly with the mouse and it's starting to get too restrictive. I'd like to be able to just draw.

Nintendo is advertising games like RL3 and F-Zero before they come out... much like Sony is advertising Jak 2. Just building up hype. There is a new preview for this game at IGN... Factor 5 has already addressed control and animation problems and has fixed many other things. I'm glad it's coming along.

I think there is a massive difference between being alone physically and being alone online. I can tune any of you out anytime I want to. I can be an *** with very little consequence. None of you really [i]know[/i] me, so there's this certain anonymity. You don't get that in person, and at times it can all be overwhelming. I like to get away from all of that.

More than half the stuff I listen to is from the 60s to 80s (and based on this thread, even the 90s fits), so I would have to name way too many.

I prefer to be alone, most people get on my nerves rather quickly... although I don't show it. Depends on who it is though. Generally, if it's certain girls... I don't have anything to complain about heh.

Sharing pirated music and whatever type files and such isn't exactly something that OB and theotaku want to be a part of, and as such I have to close this. There is such a thing as search engines.

Going through the boards, there isn't even anyone there with that name. It's possible that you guys deleted the account, but I have no idea. In any event, I'm not really seeing anything in what you're saying that proves it is anyone from OB. It has happened here and no one knew those people or blamed it on another board. That could happen for a million reasons and be any bored idiot on the planet. It's not as if they'd need to personally know Kevin to know his name or that he runs the board. It say so in every post. Until I hear something about a post that specifically mentions it was someone here, I'm just going to have to assume you are jumping to conclusions over something no one here is even discussing anymore. Anyway, I don't know what to do with this. Perhaps more people have something to say, but in the meantime I'm just closing it. We both know absolutely nothing good will come from anyone else posting in here. Edit - Kevin showed me the thread, I didn't find it for some reason. I don't know, but based on current events... it seems as though the same person is messing around with both AE and OB people at this point.

I think any problems with the storyline are because of the way the game was developed. From what I understand, Golden Sun and Lost Age were at first, one game. It got so big that they wound up having to divide it up and continue work on the second half. That's also the reason why Lost Age isn't called Golden Sun 2, at least according to things I've read.

Nintendo isn't selling well in Australia, it's a fact. The problem is the same problem they have in Europe. The prices and marketing are awful... especially when MS is slashing Xbox prices left and right and packing in games just to gain marketshare. Who wouldn't pay the equivalent of $200 for an Xbox, Halo and a few other games? Plus you have to include the whole PAL problem that makes them get games later than most. Nintendo seems to make huge delays between PAL and western releases. In any case, Nintendo has tons of money. They're making profit off of both GCN and GBA. They're not going anywhere soon, and Australia is a very small market by comparison (although no less important). I don't know about Australia, but in Europe stores refused to stock GCNs until Nintendo of Europe cut prices and offered some incentive so that the stock would actually move. There is no reason to order more units if no one is buying them. As far as I know, NOE still hasn't done anything about it. So yeah, check out that other thread... because really, nothing more can be added to it.

Vince Diesel...? Yuck. Carrey annoys me. He gets applauded for doing crap I was told to stop because of my age. Where's my millions of dollars? :( My favorite actor is Johnny Depp. He's an incredible actor and really gets into his roles. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a prime example. You would barely recognize him in it. Edward Scissorhands is another example. He doesn't even need to [i]speak[/i] in that film and is still better than a vast majority of actors out there.

I really don't remember all that much. The one episode I always think of is the one where Pete and his friends try to beat the world's record for staying up the longest. I also remember one about an ice cream truck... And some guy called Super Dave, or something.

Well, hopefully the online rumors will pan out... although I doubt it. This is actually good news, I think. I'm not so big on PSO in general, but III really interests me for some reason. I think it could be a lot of fun and seems a lot more challenging than the hack and slash of the previous titles.

There are ways around everything. Sometimes people do it on purpose, and sometimes it's just some accident. As such, any such problem has to be dealt with on a case by case basis really.

There are a few that are considered best. Electriclarryland isn't one of them, but it's up there. It's just that it is probably the easiest to find at this point. Independent Worm Saloon, Humpty Dumpty LSD, Locust Abortion Technician and Psychic Powerless (their first LP). I'd check out any of those.

As was just said, Golden Sun didn't even matter at the time of SSBM's release. It's a Nintendo funded and published game, and they can easily put characters in their if they like. I severely doubt they will though, because none of those characters are exactly huge or important at this point compared to the rest in the game (even Marth and Roy have been around for years). The same with any Rare created DK characters. Nintendo owns them and can do as they like, but I severely doubt any of them will make it in. Personally, I'd like some sort of mulitplayer minigames that involve the standard controls... So I don't mean like Mario Party, but maybe who can destroy something the fastest or stay on a tiny platform the longest while avoiding fireballs. That sort of thing. I'd also like the return of character entrance animations. There's no reason to add Metroids themselves. They are secondary characters and have one attack. I don't see why they can't be some sort of item like Mr. Saturn is though. Same with Shyguys and Goombas.

Well, I never stated any of that lol/ I know for a fact on the current tour there will be a good deal of nudity, and there has been in the past. Marilyn Manson hasn't made use of animal parts since the Spooky Kids days, which was like way back in the early 90s. Pig guts, chicken feet and all that. A lot of weird performance bands do that, but they usually get them at the butcher lol. What I meant before mostly concerns these supposed testimonies from kids who went that basically describe how the band brings dogs on stage and stomp on them until they die. I'm still surprised by how many people seem to think this stuff is remotely true. I remember awhile back that someone told me they heard the members of NIN killed someone and got away with it. What the hell? I assume they thought the Broken promo tape is real (and it sure looks it at time, it has a man tortured to death -- all fake obviously)... but people still believe this ridiculous rumors. What can you do though.

That's a pretty uninformed comment as it is. Panisonic/Matsushita is a gigantic company and they make quality electronics. They provide the GC with its disc drive. They worked together with Nintendo on the GC as well as the Q. There is honestly no reason why it wouldn't work in that sense, unless it was just a faulty unit. I've yet to hear one person who has one complain. It functions the same as a standard GC. And seriously... The GC costs $150 with a game. You can get a DVD player for $49.99 now if you look around, possibly even cheaper. I can guarantee you that it's as good as the Xbox or PS2 in DVD playing quality, because to be honest, neither of those systems are great DVD players as it is. You wind up with the same stuff either way. If you really cared about video quality that much, you wouldn't be playing DVD movies on a PS2 or Xbox anyway. You'd get a [i]good[/i] DVD player. I certainly never use my PS2 for that unless I'm stuck and have to.
