I don't listen to any Japanese bands outside of the Pillows and a few various things you personally had mentioned in some threads in the past (plus some Faye Wong). So no, the word "soap".

The Judith remix was really done by Danny Lohner, not NIN itself (which basically implies Trent in general). Lohner was the bassist for NIN, mostly acting during tours. Interestingly enough, last I heard, he is part of APC now... along with Twiggy Ramirez, who left Manson recently. NIN is one of my favorite bands. I really don't know what to say about them, it wouldn't be enough. Trent is probably the closest person to pure musical genius there has been in who knows how long now. My favorite disc of NIN's has always been Broken. It still is. Definitely worth checking it out, especially if you like the heavier side of things. It's a lot more metal influenced, but it was doing stuff most other bands didn't even consider way back then.

Ranma 1/2 is pretty much the same in both. I prefer the manga, but the anime pretty much follows the events exactly. Ghost in the Shell and Akira had so many changes... Appleseed was radically different... And that's all I can think of heh.

Well considering how broken his English is, it's hard for me to feel "stupid" about anything this guy is telling me that I've yet to hear about. It seems like he is trying to say that in each hemisphere, they basically have their own "days" because of the earth's rotation and thus the sun shining in different places in each hemisphere at a given time. Who knows though. I don't care about this sort of stuff, so I wouldn't keep track anyway lol.

I knew someone would twist it like that heh. My plan worked :D My dream date involves Piro and some syrupy pancakes. That's all.

I've always hated the acronym "SOAD". I know the band even uses it, but it bothers me heh. It makes me think of SOAP every time I see it. I just call them System, and leave it at that. I don't have a story. I don't even remember how I got their stuff any longer, for the most part. A friend of mine told me about them years back, so when I saw their disc on the shelves I picked it up. Their self-titled CD was good, but I think Toxicity really was a big jump... especially considering there wasn't all that much time between the two. I know a lot of people dislike them for various reasons (I expect TN to jump in eventually lol :)), but I don't think it's sometimes obvious how talented they are. Some of those guitar parts are just really hard to play. Roulette is a good example, and the fact that its played so well and effortlessly really says a lot, I think. It sounds a hell of a lot more simple than it is, and I think that goes for basically all aspects of the band. They're just fun to listen to, and the songs are simple... yet somehow still well written. It's almost Pixies-like in that sense. I like them heh.

I thought this would be about what you consider the perfect date to be... as in what you would [i]do[/i] on the date, not [i]who[/i] it would be with. Eh.

There are no screen shots for FFXII. The only stuff out isn't even really from the game, and is pretty old.

Square had plans to basically remake FF8 on PS2. Around the time of the PS2 still mostly being tech demos, along with a few others like GT2000 that never saw the light of day. That's all over with. In fact, I don't even think they really got anywhere with it... other than showing the dance scene with Rinoa and Squall and saying it could be done real time on PS2. The latest rumors say something something about FFXII being related to FFVII in some way. Who knows if that's true or what will come of it. I've not read into it much.

Like I said before, Sony made the game and published it in Japan. They didn't want to bring it here for who knows what reason. They make some odd decisions So Ubi Soft grabbed it. It's on its way. In fact, I think it's coming out rather soon. I'm looking forward to it.

It already is annoying, if you ask me. We've replaced depression with love threads. It's probably even worse. I don't think it deserves its own forum... but a single thread dedicated to all that nonsense would be nice heh.

I like southern accents... heh. Hell, just going to southern Illinois, I was out of place. Everyone had southern accents and made fun of how I said "Chicago". Anyway, I thought this was about being president, not being [i]god[/i]. President's don't have remotely godlike power, and half of this stuff would be downright impossible to do even in your wildest dreams.

Don't randomly post pictures for the sake of hosting. The Flaming Lips hadn't really sounded like Radiohead until rather recently. Even then, I don't think they are all that similiar other than their reliance on computer aided sounds. Since you're just getting into them, I'd really recommend the tracks off The Soft Bulletin. The last CD, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, was very good too... but not quite as great, in my opinion.

Have we all forgotten Freddy vs. Jason? That's Oscar worthy material right there. I have no doubt in my mind that I will love 28 Days Later. I'm tired of these stupid teeny bopper horror targetted horror movies like Ghost Ship, Jeepers Creepers and 13 Ghosts. Especially in the case of two of those that are based on old films that were just so much better.

I'd have to say considering Sony didn't even want to bring Ape Escape 2 to the US, very many people don't care heh. Ubi Soft had to fight to get it over and localized. I'm very interested, the first was quite original, and this apparently improves on it greatly. As for Bloody Roar, I can't say I care. It has always had an interesting promise, but it's not the greatest fighting game really. I prefer Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur personally, this and Tekken just don't do it for me. Improvements help, but I've never really been into the core gameplay myself.

So I honestly don't know what you could be advised to do if she doesn't trust you. Perhaps a reason why she doesn't trust you [i]especially[/i] would help.

You could just always download one of the many wallpaper cycler things there are around for free. Set them to change as often as you want and you'll be set. That's what I'd do anyway. Either way, I go with the second picture. I wouldn't use any edit of it, as it kind of kills off the fun the picture conveys.

The home version actually has a story mode. However, you can only play as Captain Falcon in it apparently. Still, I'd say it's better than nothing... and hopefully since they are doing only Captain Falcon, the story for him will be well done and entertaining.

Looks good. My only problem is something you personally addressed. The fact that everything has a very glossy, smooth leather like appearance. It isn't that bad on the clothes, but I think it makes their hair look really weird.

I like the character designs. They're supposed to be goofy and campy looking. Doesn't really matter though, you mostly just see the cars. Looking forward to it. I wish it had LAN support.

Hmm. I thought this was about having crushes on Shy. I'm guilty of this, so I founded his fan club. Guess I was wrong. I'd just ask him out if I were you. Most of the girls I've dated have asked me out first, and I've thought nothing of it. Better than standing around like a moron. Keeping things to yourself like this certainly won't get you anywhere.
