I beat it within the first five days of owning it. I have no interest in getting all the heart containers, as the last battles are so easy that you don't even need 10 hearts, let alone 20. I also found most of the extras in the game to be horribly mundane, so I have no plans to do those either. That's me though. So yeah, long time now.

Heh. I'd love to. As for your questions... There are currently 17 halos, which includes the Closure tape set that most people forget about. At times it's a bit aggrivating. The band (which really is just Trent if you want to get down to it) only has three real LPs, Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral and The Fragile. Broken is an EP, the rest are singles. I guess And All That Could Have Been is most likely considered a LP, but the main release of that is just live tracks (other than Still, which was a bonus disc in some sets... which is some new stuff and acoustics of older songs). So yeah, TDS is Halo Eight. Halo 10 is Further Down the Spiral, but there are two versions of it... The Euro release and the US one, both of which have songs the other doesn't. I wound up having to buy both. The song on the Crow soundtrack is "Lost Souls" which is a cover of another band that slips my mind at this point. The "I was up above it" song is Down In It, which is featured on Halo One to Three (One being its own single, 2 being PHM and 3 being some mixes on the Head Like a Hole single). Halo 5 is Broken, which was mostly done in secret and does not feature that song. It's a great disc though. So hmm. Don't know what else you might need to know... but at the very least buy The Fragile. It's a beautiful set once you're willing to sit and listen to it fully.

The song is called Hurt. And yeah, we discussed this a few weeks back. I don't know who is a NIN fan here. I seem to be one of the bigger ones. Hurt isn't exactly one of my favorite NIN songs, but Trent always does a nice job with it live. The Cash song is effective. It's like him singing his obituary, and it sends off extremely different, but still similiar emotions. I think it needs the video though, as it's not something I'd ever listen to on its own. In other news, this board needs more Nine Inch Nails fans. Trent and company have gotten even better since then in my opinion. It's a shame so many people simply don't feel the need to find this out for themselves.

I still have my toy Volton on the shelf... with the lion's heads that shoot from his hands and everything.

Simply asking this question means you'll never find the answer and are doomed to a life of confusion.
Originally posted by IcyBunny my fave game ever? DDR! my fave show ever? Will N Grace! Jack freestyled on Will N Grace. I bout spit up my spagetti when I saw him playing! THANK YOU WRITERS! :: BIG KISSES! :: You made my year! :love2:
I had the unfortunate timing to catch that on TV the other day. It was hard to find very funny honestly, when it was obvious he didn't know what the hell was going on... I was happy they at least kept it as DDR and Konami's game, since shows like to change that stuff on TV to avoid paying the companies involved. It was like the equivalent of people playing games on commercials without a cartridge in their system, or pressing buttons that are never pushed in the game. Bleh.

I've always prefered manga, and always will. I have some basic reasons.

Anime kind of forces certain voices and personalites onto established manga characters, and often they are far, far different than I'd like or expect. I'd much rather imagine my own.
Oftentimes, anime based on manga is completely changed... Or they take like one aspect of the manga and base the anime on that (mostly in films). Stuff like Akira, Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell are so much better in their manga forms in my opinion because of all that is removed or changed. Often it's mostly at the expense of character development.
You can go at your own pace. This is especially important for the more complex stuff. Sometimes I like to really go over a panel or a text area in manga, and in anime that's obviously impossible. It all just happens.
It's cheaper, as mentioned. So many places make you pay $24 to $30 for 3 freaking episodes (and no, I refuse to buy HK bootlegs, so don't mention them). And thanks to Toykopop's variety of $10 manga, other companies seem to be following suit.
So that's the the simple version of all that.

That's Lain. Anyway, I like it. I'm not overly fond of the pants, but it all looks good. You seem to have this certain style going for yourself, to the point where I could probably tell you did it without even knowing beforehand.

Easter is always good. I wind up getting a few hundred dollars from relatives for god knows what reason. I have no real attachment to any holidays myself. We have no real traditions, other than going to certain people's houses on certain days.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve Did you spell Genesis wrong on purpose?
That's my question as well lol. I like the image, but I don't think it would do well as a boxart. The important elements of it are all covered up by blue, and it wouldn't be something screaming out at me to be bought (not that current box arts seem to be amazing anyway lol.). The title should be one of the main focuses of it outside of the actual art, and that aspect of the design just seems like an afterthought to be honest.

I am talented in absolutely nothing. I'm average at anything and everything I do, regardless of how interested I am in it. I play a few different instruments, draw, and so on... sure I can do these things, but not remarkably well. So I don't really consider them "talents" as much as they are "interests."

No Doubt was originally pretty ska if you want to get down to it. Gwen Stefani isn't even their original vocalist. There has always been a ska influence, until the last CD anyway (and I've been told they didn't even write half the music on it). It's been more poppy styled stuff for a long time though. Anyway, I mostly listen to Voodoo Glow Skulls... A band either people don't seem to know, pretend they know and don't like (as in, playing like 2 songs and deciding) or love like I do.

Well once you know what you're doing, you shouldn't even get touched by that spider... Let alone picked up by it. It's similiar to Megaman games in that sense... You're probably going to die a few times at most of the bosses until you figure their patterns out. Then they are simple heh. I've found this to be true of most any boss in MF.

I think Charles was mostly making fun of "anit" lol. Anyway, Flagraa (I don't know how to spell it either) is ridiculously easy compared to some of the next bosses heh.

You also have to draw the line between the "nice guy" and the "therapist." Nice is fine, but there is an extent to it... and once you pass that line into total friend territory (especially the therapist type, where you're mostly there to help them feel better about things), there isn't much of a chance to get back very often. If the person already is going out with you, and you get into that state -- things kind of end up like they are now for you (the original poster). Although it still really all depends.

The answer is the Virtual Boy. It would have been Nintendo's CD addon (once they decided to make it 32-bit and not 16), but obviously that never came to pass. I've not played SA2: Battle so no idea. The answer to GoS's bonus question... the developer of Ikaruga is Treasure. The publisher is Infogrames/Atari. My question... What Nintendo made game started off on a place known as C-Island?

I don't really get why anyone here thinks ice should be dark, but meh. I think lightening up the background is a good suggestion.

Well if you get Dead AIM, you can do it... but it doesn't work so hot sometimes. I used a program called Glass2k. It can make any program transparent.

You pull out pots every so often. What are the names of the two Tingle lookalikes who work at Tingle's tower (they push the top around)?

I had a couple rats a few years ago. Pogo and Twiggy (named after Manson members, since I'm a dork). Anyway, Twiggy was a little brown rat and she was always scared and sickly. She passed away pretty early on, and in a way I was glad she did... I can't imagine she was happy in her state. The other one was Pogo, who was white with black spots. She looked like a little cow. Anyway, she lived quite a while. I did almost everything with her. She sat on my shoulder or my head and we sat at the computer, or we walked around the house. She was always right next to me when she was out of the cage. I even had her litter trained (don't ask me how, but she learned it). One day I came home and she was just laying there. Sometimes I get this little fear that one of my pets is dead when they are fast asleep (which has happened with my ferret, Kit, a couple times now)... Well this time she actually was. Sitting there cold and motionless like a stone. Needless to say I was pretty distraught over it. And this was only two years ago, I wasn't some little kid. I was 18 years old heh. So yeah, I know how it effects anyone. Pogo meant as much to me as some people feel about their dogs or horses. You get over it. Sometimes I remember Pogo and think about how she was the greatest pet I've ever had, but you wind up sifting the bad stuff out and just remembering the funny stuff they did. Kit makes it a lot easier, since she's also pretty great herself. So yeah, you'll be fine.

That's Lenne, which I've also seen translated as Renne.

It's known as a peahat. What's the least amount of Hearts you could have in OoT? 1.(Without any Heart Pieces) 2.(Without any Heart Pieces/Containers)

I've installed some new stuff a couple days ago, and have been playing around with it since then... so here's my current desktop. I love this wallpaper.

Hmm. That's a hard comparison. I'll see if I can explain it. The movie isn't a traditional mindless slasher film. It doesn't feature gallons of excess blood, although there is plenty of it. It isn't scary in the normal sense, as you've never liked jumping out of your seat or anything. It's straight out horror. Gross things happen, people get killed and everything is shown. It's relentless and nothing is toned back until it's finished with. It's most similiar to Texas Chainsaw Massacre honestly, although perhaps a bit less freaky because of TCM's amateurish qualities (which I feel make horror movies even more creepy lol). So I guess... Silent Hill, but definately not as complex in the story and character department whatsoever lol. As I mentioned, IGN hated this film... not that it's like they're the best film critics ever anyway. The guy said the film takes its horror roots too seriously to be of any value. It took itself seriously sometimes, but I think underlying that it was always tongue in cheek (although still very vicious about things) and a tribute to the 70s horror goldenage. It's as if they wanted either Scary Movie or something like Signs... and this is nothing like either of those. It's not the norm anymore for stuff in the theater horror-wise. However, it's still very b-movie-ish and has a lot of really dorky and funny qualities to it. There are some great scenes and some that are rather bleh... but it's still a fun movie. Still, I obviously loved it. I want to see it again in the theater even, and I've never wanted to do that in my life.

I just barely remember that area. I got the game the day it came out and played it to death until I beat it two days later. I loved the single player game (the first time through anyway). Anyway... I don't remember it well, but I also don't remember any special tricks for it. I remember having to pick off some Teddiz from the turret, but also to get up quite often and take out the ones that got in the tower. They were the ones that kept getting me. I'm sure that doesn't help much, if at all... so sorry heh. Anyway, my favorite moments were mostly small things. The begining (or maybe the end) and its homage to Clockwork Orange was one. I also liked the toilet paper boss guy, the song was great. The Saving Private Ryan level was wonderful too. Overall everything was done so well. I didn't like the multiplayer, but single player was a great experience.
