1. I'm not a huge fan. I liked the first movie, but I wasn't blown away by it. It's pretty amazing how deep it is... a lot of things I never even considered are touched upon in the movie. They've already written psychology books based around it heh. Anyway... I saw the new two and half minute trailer today, and it looked damn good. I saw most of the scenes already, but this showed off a lot more. Everything about it looks improved. The only thing that bothered me about it at all was the makeup... their makeup artists are pretty average, at best. As for the Animatrix, I have a thread about it in the Anime Forum. It isn't as popular as I figured it would be, but yeah... it's there.
2. I think his eyes are supposed to be closed...
3. My point is that people who didn't get to play the linked game would never know, unlike Tingle in Wind Waker where the game tells you practically everything he is good for from the get go.
4. I take back what I said about not getting pissed off. Girls named Jessica piss me off on a very consistent basis. That is all.

True Hip-hop?

I don't usually listen to this stuff. So instead of being an *** and saying I hate it, I just admit I don't know all that much about it either way heh... at least not recent stuff in the genre. I'm always annoyed by the fact that almost no current artists give any credit to the others from the past that made the genre what it is today... but what can you do. That said, I do know Akrobatik. I actually like his stuff... a lot more than I ever expected I would. That's about all I know out of that first list.
6. Peach is awesome and all her attacks reflect games she actually appeared in. The vegetable move is a nice stunner if anything heh, and that slide she does that makes some sort of explosion is great.
7. Bleh. I didn't read the question correctly and just thought of different swords. Regardless, the Zelda II thing was candid and not part of my answer... And Seasons doesn't have four strengths unless you link it, something I never did despite finishing the game... so I wouldn't know that. Oh well.
8. It looks good. I don't know what program you use, but that scratchy border thing is like a default filter in PSP, so it makes it hard for me to be blown away or anything like the other posts heh. In another program, it involves more work... so I guess it all depends lol. I personally prefer your current banner. It's a lot more understated, and so I think it's more effective.
9. I felt the same about Fusion until I really sat down and played more when I got my SP. At first, the linearity feels limiting... but at the same time, it's not really any more linear than the other games, as the game was usually laid out in such a fashion that there was always one exact objective you had to do next. I guess they just sacrificed you figuring it out for yourself for story. Anyway, once it gets going... it really picks up. SA-X is damn cool, and it adds this tension to it that other Metroids lack. The boss fights are great later on too, and are rather hard until you figure out their patterns. I think you'll wind up liking it far more than you do now, in the end.
10. I've made a habit of keeping a little paper... and writing down band names and CDs on it and stuffing it in my wallet. Every single time I go to the music store, I am overwhelmed by all the stuff there and completely forget what I would have wanted. This has saved me. And you can't imagine how happy I am to hear that you bought a Pixies CD. Far more than I ever should be, that's for sure lol. What CD was it?
11. Just curious as to whether or not anyone interested wound up buying the CD or getting more songs... and their impressions. If not, well I guess this will just fall back down heh. No harm done.
12. Why did Link always seem like such a jerk in that show? This pic conveys it like instantly.
13. There actually was this really cool Yu Yu Hakusho fighting game awhile back. It was four players, a lot like Super Smash Brothers. I played it briefly, but can't think what it was on (maybe SNES). There are RPGs for lots of anime in Japan... Most are just not bothered with here. For example, Sailor Moon has a few brawling games... but there is also a RPG that's quite good. Ranma 1/2 also has an RPG, as well as a fighting game... And there is a Tenchi Muyo RPG as well. I've also played this weird 3x3 Eyes sidescrolling RPG type game that was rather interesting. Those are all fan translated too, if you look around. So most of it has been done before... Sadly most anime based games are awful, just like most movie based games here are awful. Appleseed is an example of a really bad one. Most anime games that are brought here are either changed (such as this one Dragon Ball game on the NES... they renamed it Dragon Power and changed all the text, even though the characters are obviously from Dragon Ball)... or they have nothing to do with RPGs. For example, the Gundam sims and fighters.
14. Other than some cropping issues on a couple of the guys on the left, it looks very nice. Pochacco is cool too... but Badtz Maru is better.
15. As long as the first area doesn't require me to go through 20 vents and past what seems to be the same tunnel over and over, I think I'll be a bit happier with it. The areas in the game were extremely repetitive. It's the only real reason why I don't find the game that enjoyable personally. Bungie has room to improve on it, and I'm sure they most likely will... so I'll probably be checking this game out when it finally comes out. It's been delayed til 2004, so there goes the supposed 2003 release date.
16. We don't do anything really. My mom doesn't want a party, but usually her friends and stuff come over at the least. My sister expects these big lavish extravaganzas, but she doesn't really get them. For me, I don't even want a party. There's generally nothing special about my birthday other than me getting older, and a few people being nicer to me than usual. I've had to go to class in the summer the past few years too, so I don't even get my birthday off heh (August). I know some of my dad's friends want to take me out on my birthday since I'm turning 21... But I don't drink, so there's no way that's happening lol.
17. Everybody already addressed both of those topics in the thread... old news I'm afraid heh. In fact both are just a few posts up.
18. Something happened to me... Perhaps to others too. OB was down for like 15 minutes or so over here the other day. When I came back, I had all sorts of problems. Avatars and sigs didn't show up, and it wouldn't keep me logged in. It turns out that somehow all my settings got changed (I guess while the site was down, something messed up). So if you're having problems, make sure all the options are at their normal settings.

There is no ALT involved. Just press the Print Screen key. I generally press it a few times to make sure it was copied. Then go into any image program (hell, even MS Paint) and paste it. If you use MS Paint the image will wind up being a huge filesize most likely though (especially since most people don't realize that you can save as file formats other than BMP for some reason). Windows 98 can do it just fine. This isn't exactly a new feature for computers.
20. Well, in Zelda 2 you can raise your attack power. I don't know that that reflects the sword, but whatever. Ocarina of Time has four swords (Majora has only three). Oracle of Seasons also has four (Ages only has two). And last, Link to the Past... like mentioned. I guess you could say Four Swords too, if you want to be stupid about it heh... not that that's for one guy.
21. Heh. I don't know that there would have been a perfect way to end this game. I honestly didn't want it to end, but of course it had to. I think anything short of the most groundbreaking boss battle EVER would have been a let down. That said, the last fights are certainly well done. You should enjoy it all the way through.
22. Two things... The article doesn't say anything about these kids sampling anything. It doesn't say anything about buying either. There are a LOT of FTPs filled to the top with MP3s, In order to download from them, many require you to upload an almost equal amount of new MP3s. The supply never goes down, it generally just goes up. Now assuming they were doing something like that (or running their own DC, IRC or MX server, etc), they had absolutely no interest in simply sampling songs from an album and then going to buy it. So among these four kids running it (and who knows how many other people making use of it), there was maybe one copy of each CD bought (if that). If a few hundred people make use of this FTP in its lifetime (which is a VERY small number, if you look at how big some of these groups of end users are), that is a LOT of money lost. So I can understand going after these kids in a way, but why single them out? The RIAA always goes insane with their amounts they want, so that's somewhat expected. The amount should go down too, and if they can't pay whatever they wind up being sued for, someone else would. I really don't think it would make CD prices increase or something, but someone has to pay it. The amount Bill Gates has means jack, he isn't exactly willing to loan out millions of dollars to any idiot that advocates piracy of all things. I think the RIAA knows that going after the corporations doesn't work anymore. Nothing really happened to Napster. Nothing really is happening to Kazaa. They are getting nowhere and losing money trying. So they target the users. It's easier. They don't have access to great lawyers. It will scare people (and that is the most important thing right there). In addition to this, a huge amount of bands here offer sample streams and MP3s on their sites for albums now. You can make a case about imports, but J-whatever doesn't exactly make up a huge amount of the download population here. People spend most of their time downloading songs they can easily get. Whenever I am on Kazaa (and right now I share about 4,000+ songs), most everyone only downloads the most extremely common songs from me. Same with anyone else I know. I admit to downloading MP3s. I rarely download anything I didn't already have a very high interest in buying. If I like an album, I think I owe it to the artist to buy it. I don't care how "rich" they are. Unless you want the entire music industry to die (and at this point I think the industry is very ****ed up, but I hardly want it to die), I'd think anyone would do the same. Sadly, this obviously isn't the case anymore.
23. Well I had seen Robotech and the countless other shows that were translated for TV here... such as Voltron. My uncle had the entire Robotech series on tape, as well as some Sentinels (not sure of the spelling) and import stuff. I was only like 6 or something though, so I really don't know that it all got me into anime. I have a soft spot for Robotech still. When I was a bit older, but still pretty young I found his Vampire Hunter D tape... I know a lot of people don't consider that a very good anime, but this was still over 10 years ago. I'd never seen a animated anything as violent or as dark as that, and it caught my attention. I still didn't really buy much of the stuff though. I mostly bought manga after this point though... GitS, the entire Appleseed collection, Ranma 1/2, Akira... etc. I started buying anime because of manga though, so I guess that's what got me fully into it. However, despite watching it and liking some of it, and trying to work at http://reviews.theotaku.com I still don't like most anime. In fact, I think the vast majority of it is awful, just like with anything else. Lately, the only anime I've been watching has been Hale Nochi Guu and Naruto... Both of which are fansubbed and available for free for download on the internet. Guu is probably one of my favorite anime series ever.

Here's mine. I was bored so I resurrected the thread.
25. I'm still surprised this isn't a Steven Seagal movie.
