They haven't really given any dates or specifics. I was reading a new item based on a press release about something involving CN, and it mentioned that the show was their latest acquisition. If I find anything else out, I'd let you know. At this point I'd only bet on reruns... I guess anything is possible though.

They have used pyrotechnics before. I've said that in my posts days and days ago, as the original news reports have said just that. Irregardless, Great White is a nothing band now playing mostly to people with mullets who wish it was still the 80s and hair metal was reigning supreme. Therefore, they mostly played at small clubs which most likely wouldn't have heard these sorts of things (if they were a huge band still, I'm sure everyone would know... Hell, I didn't even know people even listened to them anymore). I put more of the blame on the band than anything though, evne though I still think the club is almost equally at fault. Not informing the club owners whatsoever (regardless of any knowledge of the bands past antics) is stupid. Not knowing what the hell a band is bringing into your club is also stupid. Anyone that has been to a live concert knows the amount of totally unplanned stuff that happens... especially at the smaller shows. I think the club should have been somewhat prepared, but in the end... The band did it. There is no way they couldn't have known the risks.

I've had contacts a few years... I have to say, don't get lazy. Take those things out every night. You may not think so at first, but you'll regret it later if you get into the habit of not taking them out and cleaning them daily (well I guess unless they are designed for that, some new ones are). The first week is the only hard part. Hell, nothing is even as bad as the first time heh. You'll get used to it, probably to the point that you could push your eyeball with your finger without it bothering you.

The best one is Kurosawa's "Rashomon" and "Seven Samurai." I think everyone should see those, regardless of their age at this point. I thought the original Godzilla was pretty kickass... Both the original and the US version with Raymond Burr. Godzilla Vs. Biolante was pretty good too. I've probably seen a lot of non-Godilla Japanese films, but those are the ones that come to mind.

I moved this and replied since I guess no one cares. I think it looks great. Yeah, good thing GBA doesn't have region lockouts at all :). I'm looking forward to it, especially considering the only real alternative is Zelda at this point. I think you guys are getting Shining Soul (I think that's the name). It looks somewhat like this, but is based on Sega's Shining Force series. Here's the site for the game: http://www.playonline.com/seiken/index.html

I guess I'm the only one interested in FF:CC. Reminds me of Secret of Mana/Saiken Densetsu... so that's always a great thing. I think the main FF series is getting stale anyway. FFT on GBA technically did come out, but it's Japanese. Of course it's hard to find, as no one really imports Japanese RPG style games for the most part in this country considering very few would even understand. Just wait a few months. And for all the people who are thinking "I already own that on PSX," it's a totally different game. And the first two FF games are nothing like Mystic Quest. In fact, no FF games are. No one really says this anymore, but Mystic Quest was created to get beginners into RPGs. It was never ever meant to be considered an amazing game for FF veterans or even RPG fans. It was always advertised like that as well back when it first came out.

Looks like you can use the d-pad to pick specfic colors now or something to that effect... That's good news. I can't say I'm super excited. The two player mode looks nice, but I don't even know another person personally who even liked Pikmin. Still vastly superior to the underwhelming Kirby's Air Ride shots...

This isn't so related... But in case no one noticed, Cartoon Network has the rights to this show now and it's supposed to be the next thing they add to Adult Swim.

The movie was finished a really long time ago (well at least the filming, maybe not the final stages... heh). There was a chance that it was going to get an NC-17 rating apparently and the company didn't want to put it out, although they were strangely still supportive of it and Rob Zombie in general. That was like months and months ago though. I even got a sticker and information on it from the site well over a year ago. It's on my stereo heh. Really, this is the only new info I've even heard since then... It really isn't any clearer about how the movie will be released though...

I think the nominees themselves were almost completely made up of groups that I feel never should even be where they are today, let alone up for an award... However, I was surprised by some of the results when I read them a day later. I didn't expect some of the winners, and was happy to see The Flaming Lips got some recognition for their simply excellent Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (even if it was just for an instrumental). Also, I'm rather happy about the Foo Fighters win. Yet again, I think metal got the shaft letting something win that simply shouldn't have (in my opinion). Seems to happen like that pretty much every year though, in pretty much every big awards show (barring maybe Kerrang's). As for pop... Well I don't listen to a good deal of that stuff, so I have no opinion one way or the other. Norah Jones sure did clean up though.

Let's not forget Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for GameCube, which should be out by the end of the year at the latest. It's an action style RPG though, up to four players simlutaneously. That's probably the only FF game I give a crap about that's coming out (well I'll give Origins a shot).

From IGN:
Is Xenogears and Xenosaga related storywise offically? I wonder how can it be because they are published by different publishers. I think that square owns the rights to Xenogears and its characters, etc. What I mean is, I'm wondering if the developers confirmned that indeed these two games are part of the same series, and when we get episode 5 it will just be a remake of Xenogears. I wonder if it just something like that, or if it is just that they are both in the same series, "in spirit." Jeremy Responds: Officially, they aren't releated (it's what we call legalities!). Play them both and look at the characters, battle systems, and the like, however, and it becomes readily apparent that these games are related. As for the rest of your question -- only time can tell.
This is what I was referring to and IGN has said it in different ways before. They are related as the teams are basically the same. However, unless something strange happens they can never be considered totally in the same series (even if they really are, it's kind of complicated due to all the legal crap). Do what you like with that heh.

The image he used ends at that point... There was nothing he could do, as it's out of one of the CD liners. Perhaps a better photo could have been chosen, but that's another story. I have no problem with it cutting off there, and I really don't see why everyone should have to stick to specific rules for things to work. Hell, David Carson sure doesn't, and he is considered the father of this whole grungy graphic design style that is so popular today.

Golden Sun had great music and graphics... Some pretty cool dungeon layouts, good monster designs and I really liked being able to use your powers on the field to affect things. The problem is that the story sucked, the translation was boring, the characters were completely uninteresting, the battles were archaic (this is the first game since FF where I had to worry about characters attacking dead enemies)... Plus you could basically plow through every fight using nothing but Djinn. It was horribly balanced. I expect no less from the second one, as Camelot has this same problem with all of their RPGs. I think they should stick to sports style stuff like Hot Shots Golf and Mario Golf. I really wish Magical Vacation would come out here... Then something as average as this wouldn't be considered amazing. Oh well, my opinion of course.

I wouldn't say this isn't well known... But one of my favorite manga is Lone Wolf and Cub. I haven't met anyone else that has read it personally, but there seems to be a large fan base based on what I see online. I prefer manga to anime on a whole, it's just that I don't really have the spare cash to buy a 40 manga series (most of these things seem to go on forever).

Man... I get so confused over who is who when you guys all have Vegeta (or whoever) names and the same icon heh.

I don't know... When there are bands like Down putting out amazing metal albums (well in the case of them, they rarely put out anything heh), stuff like Mudvayne isn't even allowed to enter my thought process. And I'm willing to mail the new album to you treton_noir if you pay the shipping (couldn't be all that much). It's the limited edition version and completely mint. I never listen to it, and the DVD has never even been touched.

Since things like this seem to pop up a lot... Next to the area where you fill in your profile is a little link that says "vB code on." Click it. It shows you how to use all these codes and gives examples.

Putting and around that without the spaces should work.

Well according to a recent interview with Konami there are no longer any plans to bring this game out in Europe at all. I guess that could always change, but that's the latest word on it.

Every song in the world has meaning to it, and I am sure we've all heard many songs that are have far more than these do. That wasn't my point honestly. The message of a song doesn't mean much to me if I don't like the sound at all. I have the limited edition version of this, I bought it when it was first released. So yeah, I'm familiar with the songs and everything. Again, I just do not like how they sound (that should answer the question, as it's why I don't like the CD). Like I said, the more I listen to music the more I look for completely different things. Stuff like this just doesn't interest me like it used to unless it brings something new or just really damn good to the table. I don't feel this CD did either of those things personally. That was my problem, I guess I wasn't clear enough about that. Edit - Added some more.

My opinion is that Mudvayne's new CD is awful and anything that made me think they'd interest me based on the first CD has been thrown out the window. I remember when they first were getting popular, that they mentioned that Manson's early Portrait stuff was one of their main inspirations. I don't know where the hell that went, as all that remains is a type of metal that I really just do not like listening to anymore. I'd probably be a huge fan of them if this were five years ago, but a lot of my tastes have changed.

He won't be, however he did come up with the movie's title... which explains why it's so moronic.
