Everything about Shampoo kis great :). I tried showing someone Ranma 1/2 (ex girlfriend, friends now) and she didn't know what the hell was going on... She also thought Shampoo sounded hilarious. Oh well haha. I did an image of her a while back, I don't think otakuartist ever bothered posting it. It was one of the first things I made in Illustrator, so it's based of another image... Not entirely my own work :D.

DOA2: Hardcore is the one on PS2... In my opinion DOA is a very shallow fighting series, and not really deserving of the recognition it has. I'd say VF4 is a better bet for a 3D fighter. I'd grab DOA if I saw it for like 9 bucks new on clearance though lol. I also disliked Kingdom Hearts... I kept coming up with excuses for myself about why I didn't like the game... But in the end I just realized that I didn't think it was any fun and that Square was ruining some of my favorite movies. I was almost at the end when I realized this completely, and I haven't played since. As for Suikoden III... It's the best RPG on the system hands down. If you think BoF is great, then you'll like this game. Good graphics, gameplay and characters... as well as a good story told from the perspective of three different characters. To me, for anyone that likes RPGs, this is a must own... no questions asked.

I'm not really concerned with death, it happens when it happens. I have no weird thing I want to do... I don't want to get in some record book, be a millionaire or do some extreme sport. All I really want is to get to a point where I have no real pressing responsibilites... Where I could do just nothing and it would be okay. I'm sure this will never happen, but it's what I want... It's kind of like Office Space in idea.

What' browsers are you guys using? I find that it doesn't seem to work properly in Phoenix, which is based off Mozilla. I'm not sure if that means Netscape 6/7 might have problems as well. I've never had this problem in IE6 though.

I think in a situation like this most people would say they don't see the color, they just see the person. I don't know if that's true or not, because skin color is such an obvious thing. I've gone to mostly black/hispanic schools, and have had many friends that were not white at all. At that time I never really thought about anyone outside of how they treated me in terms of if I liked them or not. I saw all the colors, but it didn't matter. If I didn't go to these places, chances are I'd probably not be so open about it... A lot of my family is pretty racist. As for dating, I don't know. In the end, all I really care about is some compatability. If that person happened to be black or whatever else, so be it. That has yet to happen though, and if it did I'll admit it would probably be pretty weird at first.

I agree with Sara. Honestly, yes it is sad that holidays are nothing but a way to make money to some people... I don't think that's an issue in terms of this stuff though. Nevertheless, people buy presents for others for Christmas. Advertising for seasonal items and putting stuff out ensures more sales. It also appeals to the people that would rather be prepared for Christmas NOW instead of a week before the 25th (or even the day before in some cases lol). Same thing every holiday where money is to be made. Costumes are out a month ahead of time at least for Halloween. I find that if you want a costume anytime close to Halloween yuo are just out of luck. It's how things are. I don't think being prepared and ready to sell stuff any earlier makes them any more of a "swindler." I figure people could always boycott Christmas shipping if they dislike it lol.

Well of course... But it's generally like "Elmo's Paint by Number," "Mary Kate and Ashley Go to the Mall" or something like that. I'd consider those "kiddy" games, not something like AC or Mario. I don't expect everyone it like AC. It is cute, it's weird and the concept is strange. The concept really interested me though, so I grabbed it. There are other games I avoid because I don't like the series or genres too, just like everyone lol.

Well this is up in the air depending on people's taste. RPG wise, I think the only amazing game on the system is Suikoden III. FFX is good as well, but not at Suikoden's level at all in my opinion. Other RPGs would be: Wild Arms 3 - I liked it for a few hours, then it got too repetivitive. some of the characters are decent... but otherwise kind of eh. Worth a rent though. Okage - Really quirky, with a pretty boring battle system... But still kind of enjoyable. It's worth the 10 bucks you'll see it on clearance for. It's got a nice Tim Burton style to it, which is what sold me on it. Shadow Hearts - Totally average RPG. The game is nothing special, and some of the graphics are horrible. Grandia X - This is a pure dungeon crawler, get it only if you love dungeons and like fighting for hours and hours. Grandia II - I liked this game... But the DC version is far better. If you don't have a choice, it may be worth the money for you. It's pretty much agreed that this is a bad port though. Shadow of Destiny - I think this is the name... It's more of a traditional story book type game than an RPG. It's still pretty cool, but short enough that I'd leave it at a rental if you can even find it. There are other RPGs on the system, most of which you might as well just avoid. Fighting wise... Capcom Vs SNK 2 - Great game, I think it's worth getting. I personally have this imported on DC, and I haven't played the PS2 version... But I hear they aren't much different. Tekken 4 - Everyone here seems to love it, but I'm not a fan of Tekken at all. Virtua Fighter 4 - This is Greatest Hits now for $20 bucks... If you buy any 3D fighter, get this one. It's not obvious how good it is until you spend a lot of time with it. Bloody Roar 3 - There is a much better version available on GC if you can get it. Either way, I don't feel it's anything special. It's fun to waste a few hours on though. Guilty Gear X - Again, I imported this for DC... But I love it. It's more style than substance, but the game is gorgeous. Guilty Gear has brought enough to the table that it's worth checking out. There are some other random ones I forget... Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 should be worth it once it hits. Other games I think you should check out would be Ico (great game) and Devil May Cry (not a fan, but a lot of people like it). You should see what's in the Greatest Hits section as well. Hope that helps some lol.

Seems like a really odd channel to put this one. I don't associate TechTV with Japanese anything (other than maybe some videogames)... Strange. Good news I suppose though.

There's very little you can do that someone else doesn't do. I don't know a person who went to get something pierced because they thought it would mae them different from everyone else. I guess they do it to express themselves in some odd way (which I guess is trying to be different then lol)... But most (nearly all) of the people I know that do it, do it just because they like that kind of stuff and want to. It's not to make them feel better about their coolness. Like I dye my hair constantly. I'm sure most people think that people do that to be different in some way, or get attention. I just do it because I enjoy it, and because I can't stand my hair. It's nearly impossible for me to style it in any way other than messing it up or spiking it. I dye to make up for it lol. I plan on getting a piercing or two eventually, but only because that sort of stuff interests me. If someone is looking for a reason to feel better about their own uniqueness, I don't think piercing is going to do much... Unkess they hold the record for most piercings or something.

I used to say I'd never do something a lot when I was little. I've since done a lot of those things, but never any that would compromise my integrity in some way. Watching a cartoon when I said I wouldn't or buying something from a store I'd never go to is far differen't than getting wasted or something. I personally avoid smoking, drinking and drugs entirely. There are many reasons why of course, mostly because of the health issues and that I don't want to be anything like some of my family and their friends in that aspect. That's something I'd never go back on. I'd never cheat on someone either. It's just not in my character. I'd feel so guilty afterwards that it wouldn't even be worth the risk anyway. And of course killing and all that... But hell, you never know what's going to happen lol ;). Otherwise I suppose it's all fair game.

Stuff like 3.5" floppys are disKs :D.

I don't expect any systems here to drop price in a while. There is no reason for them to. Xbox is still outselling GC in the US (I'm sure the bundle is helping now too), and we all know nothing will catch up to PS2. I expect the price to stay like this for a while. And even though GC is behind here, I'm sure Nintendo will ride this price for a while because after $99 there isn't much room left to drop. Anyway, not bad for something that will probably be around $40 bucks here. That's cheaper than most games, and I'd have like 20 more games I could play on GC lol :D.

My absolute favorite thing to do is sleep. Other than that I play a few games, make something in Illustrator (RARE lately, I'm kind of bored of art right now) or play with my ferret. I babysat a 3 month old baby yesterday, which was pretty fun. I'd do that more often if I could.

Today was actually a pain... I was hoping to get the game last night. I had to wait on my stupid friend that decided to go to sleep at 4 PM when he was supposed to be here at 6. I got a call from him at like 8:30. Gamespot closes at 9, so that was over with. So he tells me he'll drive me to get it today to make up for that. Well he calls one place (where he supposedly reserved... some guy said he'd hold it... but the lady who answered didn't know what he was talking about). Anyway, she says she has lots of copies... So we should come over. We get there, and she tells us that she only has copies for people that reserved. This alone was annoying, but it got worse! She says they are in a box and she will open it later. Well, the box was right ****ing next to her! She wouldn't open it to look, while we were standing there with our damn money. We drove all the way out here, and she expected us to come back later. So then we call another one (over 411), he tells us he has enough. We go there, and the guy doesn't know what we're talking about. He didn't get any phone calls. After talking to him a few minutes, he finally says there is another Gamespot nearby... It took us forever to find this place as it was hidden in a mall that we'd never seen in our lives. I finally got the game there though. I swear everytime I get a big, new Nintendo game it's HELL.

Heh... Somehow I figured this is what that announcement would be. I had heard about it a couple days ago, and totally forgot hehe. Man, you remember this movie a little [i]too[/i] well lol. I haven't seen it in like years. Encore shows it a lot on cable though. And Princess Toadstool first used the word Peach in Mario 64... I guess it began the transition to her finally just having that name instead. I kind of perfer it... But I call Toad Kinopio too, so who knows what's best lol.

My friend preordered it for me at EB over the weekend... Apparently they will only give it to people who preordered it today... Everyone else tomorrow. Who knows if this is true lol. I don't know if anyone played the demo yet, but it's pretty cool. I had a lot of fun with it before the stupid GC reset. It was weird getting used to the controlsl I kept trying to play it like it was Timesplitters 2. Not to say the controls are bad, but it's certainly different lol. Other random things I've read up on... The game supports progressive scan and Dolby Digital II for people who can use it (that'd be me :D) and uses only two blocks to save. The manual is pretty cool, I've seen scans and such of the pages... Lots of nice art, and a really detailed history on Prime and Fusion that thought was interesting. It fills a lot of plot holes.

John Leguizamo won't even talk about the movie anymore. He totally refuses to lol. Back then, Peach was still called Princess Toadstool here... So I figure that's why they picked the name Daisy lol.

There were actually a fre of these games that didn't have "Legend of Zelda" before the title in Japan. I figure they just added them here so the games would be familiar and sell better lol. As for that Time of Trial game wasn't a hacked ROM as far as I remember... It was a game some guy made from scratch, and it really wasn't very comparable to other Zelda games graphically. A lot of people tell me it's good, but I wasn't too impressed.... If that's not it, then I dunno lol, but if it was it;s definately not illegal really (outside of copyright infringement).
