I guess it could depend on how important this performance is... or who might be coming to see it even. It's hard to say what a reason could be since I don't know much about the importance or situations involving it. There was a period of time where I had complete stage fright. I have NO idea what brought it on, but it was just kind of suddenly there. I never had a problem before, or after that time. I still don't get it heh. I managed through it pretty quickly though, and I think the problem was due to a lot of outside factors. Maybe that's what's affecting you as well.

I am not going to assume such things, given he has said nothing like that so far.

http://www.nintendo.com/games/gamepage/description.jsp?gameId=593#about
Players who own both Metroid Fusion and Metroid Prime will be able to access sweet special features by connecting the two systems using the Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable. If you've completed Metroid Fusion, you can unlock the original NES version of Metroid in Metroid Prime. Just connect the two systems and you're ready to play. You can even save your game data directly to a Nintendo GameCube Memory Card. After completing Metroid Prime and connecting the two games, you'll be able to play through the game wearing Samus's Fusion Suit from Metroid Fusion.[/qoute] Pretty cool... Although I hope you can use the Fusion suit whenever you start a new game, and not just in the file you already finished. Samus' suit is even more impressive in movies, as it has this nice reflective layer over it heh.

Maybe you should just leave them both, and sort your feelings out. At this rate you're just going to hurt both of them. Figure out what it is you want to do, I'm sure you can act on it in the future instead.

The only news I can find about any release from the band is for a double DVD set called "Disasterpieces." I'm not clear on a release date, but it seems to be sometime next month. I can't find anything about CDs.
-
My only exposure to the band was probably 5 years ago... I was at Rolling Stones and they were handing out promo tapes for Vini Vidi Vicious. I thought they were alright, but on the other side of the tape was a band called International Noise Conspiracy, and I thought they were much better haha. There are a lot of bands that sound like that recently.

If you have a Mac, you'll be relying on Limewire hah. I don't know of any sites offering these songs. I saw one the other day, but the links were down.

You can talk to those walking blobby things that shock you when you hit them. My question: What is the name of the professor in the Astral Observatory in Majora's Mask?
-
Faeries (depending on the game) are not always usable items, same with heart containes. That's where I was going with it anyway. Oh well :).

Not a huge Halo fan, so I don't know all the names... But I LOVE that alien gun that shoots those pink spikes that latch themselves onto enemies and then explode. My least favorite is probably the alien gun you have to charge up to shoot decent blasts.

Project Ego is now called Fable. It's obviously still coming out, but like most Molyneux projects I expect it to be overhyped and underdeliver. Black and White is a great example of that.

A lot of people seem to go nuts if you call Metroid Prime a FPS instead of a First Person Adventure... I personally couldn't care less either way. Anyway, what you said is basically how it is. Unlike most first person games like this though, the controls are much different. The game doesn't use a standard FPS setup with the two sticks and all that. According to people who played it, it controls more like Goldeneye (the default controls) or Ocarina of Time. I'll have to play it myself to see. If you want free Nintendo media and impressions, or whatever else... Go to www.planetgamecube.com or www.n-sider.com Between those and a few others (mainly French sites for media), there is little need for IGN as it is heh.

As long as you're mature when you have to be, I don't see the problem. I shouldn't like cartoons or videogames anymore according to some people. Even so, I watch cartoons more than anything else. I love Disney movies. I like stupid cute things. I love kittens. My favorite colors are hot pink and violet. All crap that normally isn't equated with someone my age. Change is fine, as long as it's not something you don't want to do or it's radically changing your lifestyle. Maturity and inevitable change are one thing, but you obviously still like these things. The only reason you wouldn't like them anymore would be thanks to peer pressure. In this case that isn't something you should be concerned with, unless you think being "cool" is the end all, be all of existance. And even then, everyone has different measures of what is cool and what's not. Some of my friends think it's cool to go get wasted at a party, screw girls they don't know or get baked in someone's car. I don't... everyone's different. I think Peewee Herman is cool for god's sakes. It's all relative lol.

There are no cheap fixes for this CD, unless you are willing to take a bootleg. In that case you might as well just download it. There were only like 1,000 official copies of this CD made... I believe they were given out at their early shows. I'm not willing to pay 100 bucks plus for a band I was never that into hehe.

It's gotten overly annoying in the recent years. What did people blame before movies, music (readily availible for purchase anyway) and games? It's just odd that people seem to act like violence only exists because of these three things. I saw one comment on a news site in particular, where a lady on the street was quoted about how she thinks it was good for this one Walmart to ban violent games (her comment itself was incredibly ignorant, almost making it sound if violence doesn't exist outside of games and movies). Rather ironic considering Walmart is one of the largest gun sellers in the country, and several killers have bought their guns from their stores.

I give her some bonus points for this picture... I honestly don't find her all that attractive. Sure she looks good, but not to the point some are making it seem. Anyway, even if you do or don't agree with some side on this role model issue, she is hardly like thr root of all evil heh. It's funny how this seems to cause more of an uproar than the million and one things someone like Puff Daddy has done in recent months. All of which were infinitely worse in comparison.

1: Slipknot 2: Gently 3: Do Nothing (Bitchslap) 4: Only One 5: Tattered and Torn 6: Confessions 7: Some Feel 8: Killers Are Quiet Sometimes Dogfish Rising is listed as the 9th track. I doubt many other people here know, or care, about this CD... so here you go. I don't really care about Slipknot anymore, so I have no idea about your release questions.

I read that last night as well. I was under the impression that PS2 cards can't even hold PSX saves. Only because PSX games themselves don't even recognize when the PS2 card is in the slot. I can't even find Suikoden 2. I had it in my hands the week it came out, and for some reason I changed my mind. Stupidest game purchasing mistake I ever made lol.

All the spammy posts are from over a year ago. Can't exactly blame anyone posting now for that. Anyway, at least I know The Pillows are Japanese for sure now heh.

I am kind of annoyed by the fact that everyone is trying to blame this on games yet again (I've yet to see a game that could teach you to put a rifle together, aim and load it perfectly - I mean the guy supposedly has shot through 2 people in ONE shot... I doubt that was accidental). It's even more annoying that it seems the media has whoever is doing this pegged as some teenager, when I've seen no proof of that. As it is, I hope they catch whoever is doing this. It reminds me a lot of those movies with a crazy guy in a clock tower picking people off. Too bad it's not going as easy to capture the guy as it does in those movies. As for the conference, this is the 2nd time they supposedly had someone. The cop that reports whenever something happens seems almost clueless as to what to say each time, which isn't exactly reassuring.

I'm about to cry. I just missed EB... 5 minutes too late and they close at 9. Best Buy didn't have it at all. They had about 45634563456 copies of Mario Party 4, which I completely ignored, so I grabbed TS2 instead (awesome). My main question is this: I've heard the game allows you to import saves from Suikoden I and II. This this true? And does the manual give any clues on what it might do? Thanks :). Edit----- I am really, really suprised to here there is no realtime map. IThere have been a lot of games where you just pick your location and that's that. Sure it speeds up the process of the game, and realtime maps do get tedious. I'm not sure what I'd prefer. The female heroine reminds me of WA3 as well. The main character in that game is named Virginia, and she is stuck in the lead of many situations. She was given an interesting personality in that she is trying really hard to put on a strong face through everything, but she is still prone to mistakes. It gives her a more human side that a lot of characters in RPGs lack (I feel like most of the time, the main character is some angst ridden teenager who cares about nothing). Anyway, Wild Arms 3 is still great :).

All demo discs from Nintendo are for store use only. In fact, Nintendo is being particularly picky about this one and supposedly wants them all shipped back in 2 weeks. I don't know what Nintendo does with the old ones, but whatever lol. If you work at those stores sometimes a manager might hook you up. The Nintendo reps installing one might even give you a spare disc if you ask. I didn't get to play it tonight :(. I bought Timesplitters 2 and played multiplayer like 30 times. Game is fun as hell. I love the monkey haha. I actually managed to snag a video of someone playing the Metroid Prime demo for like several minutes (the demo cuts out after 10 minutes, no matter how far you are). So basically it's 10 minutes containing the extra movie and most of the demo. Pretty cool heh.

I can't find a thread on Metroid Prime (there is only an older one on Fusion). Anyway, I'm sure most people know plenty about this game already. I'm mostly posting to let everyone know that Nintendo has put new demo discs in at stores like EB and Gamestop, which have the playable MP level from E3. The disc also has a SMS demo and Mario Party 4, Metroid Prime and Nightfire videos. I'm going to EB to pick up Suikoden 3 tonight, so I'm hoping I can check the game out. Prime and Fusion both come out November 18th, along with Nightfire, Medal of Honor and RE: Zero. Expensive day. Metroid Prime also has a theatrical trailer that will be shown in the future. It's mostly live action, but cuts to gameplay video rather seamlessly. IGN had the commercial first, but now www.planetgamecube.com has it too, I think lol. It's kinda cheesy in some small ways, but it's still one of the best game commercials I've ever seen. www.metroid.com has a nice video as well... It's the same one that was on the last GC demo disc. I guess we might as well turn this into the official thread of sorts, so post away :).

Didn't you say aside from the sword? Bombs, as far as I remember, are not in Zelda II. Only swords, shields and keys seem consistant heh. Even then, there are different types in each game.

I think it would be very cool if you could play from the bad guy's perspective. Sephiroth would most likely be the best choice, as he has a considerable back story to work with. I'd definately check that out. This FFX-2 game isn't really interesting me though, despite all my posts about it heh.
