I don't mind most remakes on GBA, simply because it finally gives you the option to play games on the road. Lunar has never even been available on a Nintendo system up until this game, so it's not like most Nintendo only fans have played the entire series by now.

Game Arts is my 2nd favorite RPG company after Enix (third would be Atlus). I never owned a Sega CD, so I never played the original versions of Lunar and Lunar 2... But I did pick both of the special editions up on PSX. I love the games. Sure, they aren't super impressive visually.. But they still look damn good, and the PSX versions have even more color than the original. I liked the character development, although I could do without most of the voiceovers (not that they are bad, but I prefer reading and making up my own voices lol). I think the best part is that they are so challenging early on. There are some really hard boss fights, and so many monsters at times that it's overwhelming. It's never so frustrating that I didn't just try again after dying though. I prefer Lunar 2 over 1, but it seems not many agree with me.

The game has been out for months now. Eidos released it on their Fresh Games label along with Mad Maestro... which I feel is an infinitely better game. But then again I'm a music game freak. Mr. Mosquito gets old quickly, there just isn't all that much to do.

I remember fighting a guy in the magic tower that casts Ultima, but perhaps he only casts it as he is dying. That's why I assumed it hurt both of you. I must be getting a lot of this stuff confused, because I haven't played FF4 or FF6 since like 1996 :).

The easiest way would be to use some sort of Video capture card. A lot of current 3D cards have them built in. I have an ATI Radeon All-in-Wonder 7500, and it came with all the stuff to capture your own video, as well as watch TV and play games on your TV screen. You hook the system up to that, the same you would anything else. If you cannot do this, I guess you can always scan a photo :D.

Could you put more space between your warning and the actual spoilers? I had even more things ruined for me by trying to read the post before yours. Edit: Thanks much :)

Hasn't anyone heard of the Amazons? The world would probably be exactly the same and just as violent.

If you are into that style... I'd recommend Rasputina. I don't know anyone who knows who they are, but I love them.

--Yes, I LOVE Pixies and Cibo Matto :D. I have a few more... they are kinda paraphrased though. Homer: "Somebody stop that whacked out junkie before he kills Marge!" Lisa: "That whacked out junky is your son!" Homer:"UGH, why don't you just tell everybody!?" Homer: *Looking at ceiling* "Oh God, what should I do?" Marge: "That isn't God, it's a waffle Bart threw at the ceiling!" *knocks it down with a broom* Homer: *picks it up* "I know I shouldn't eat thee. "*Chomp* "Mmmm. Sacrilicious." Ned: Okay, folks. Look, I called the police captain in Shelbyville and he says he hasn't seen our kids, but if they show up in the morgue he's gonna fax us. Bart: Come on Milhouse, there?s no such thing as a soul! It?s just something they made up to scare kids, like the Boogie Man or Michael Jackson. Marge: Homer, I've got someone here who can help. Homer: Is it Batman? Marge: No, it's a scientist. Homer: Batman's a scientist. Marge: It's not Batman! Homer: Ever since you started therapy you haven't stopped talking about yourself, what about me Marge? Marge: I just left my first session and i haven't opened my mouth yet. Homer: You see, I have just left MY first session, and I haven't opened MY mouth yet. Moe: Okay Homer, this olive is you... (points to olive) Homer: Mmmm... me. Homer: (teaching a relationship class) What is a wedding? Webster's dictionary defines it as the process of removing weeds from one's garden... Homer: Ooh, I love your magazine. Especially the 'Enrich Your Word power' section. I think it's really... really... really... good. Homer: The food at the Gilded Truffle really... What's a good word? Maggie: (sucks on pacifier) Homer: Sucks! That's great! And the bread was really... Come on, help me out here! Santa's Little Helper: Ruff! Homer: Rough? I don't know, you've been pitching that all night. Santa's Little Helper: Chewy? Homer: Chewy! That's inspired! ... Okaayyy... that's enough.

SSJGoten...sounds to me like your bad sleeping habits are just catching up to you. The body needs to make up for lost sleep. I stay up at least til 2 AM most of the week. Sometimes it gets to 5 AM. This wouldn't be bad if I didn't have to get up at 7 for work/school all summer (stupid summer quarter :flaming: ).

They are both pretty good. You might consider leaving the words on the first one up a slight bit longer, as they disappear a little bit too quickly. You might want to look into actually using Flash. Animations like these would definately not be hard for you to do... and at the same time the transitions will be smoother and the file size will be lower. I'm not going to give number ratings though, because who am I to judge that. But good job; I do prefer the second one :).

Well, at the same time there was reasoning behind what happened in Happy Gilmore... as stupid as those reasons might be. In terms of video games... most games just put this stuff in because they know people will buy it. I look at games like Dave Mirra XXX and I don't know what to think. Sex has nothing to do with this sport. Neither does stopping a dog from crapping in the steet. Or making an apparently mentally handicapped kid crash into a wall to open a new area. The gameplay mechanics might be fine, and the game itself might be good. But why put these things in this game? I think you'd be hard pressed to find any actually mature person really wanting this game. Yes I know what Acclaim says, and I know it will be rated M... but to me this game is totally aimed at people in their low teens. This is the actual demographic that is going to think this game is somehow "cool." Sure, most kids that age aren't like that... but enough are that it would probably really boost game sales. I can't really think of a reason why nudity would be needed as a gameplay element. If it is somehow needed to tell a story, then fine. I have no problem with that. But why would you put a girl topless riding a bike in a game? What does that do? Violence is another matter. And like was stated here, gamers are getting older and want more realistic and gritty games. But do they want things like Dave Mirra XXX, which are actually more immature than anything? I don't know. I can definately say I'm not interested. This game sounds like a joke. You can compare this to Conker as well... but to me that was a different situation. There was a point behind the immaturity and lewdness in that game, and it was well done. XXX just seems to use it because it can, and because they know sex sells. It's not innovating or adding to anything in any way other than that. And as for movies... I know more people between the ages of 14 and 18 that have seen movies like Scary Movie and American Pie than anyone that is actually considered "mature." Comedy movies are an odd case, and I wouldn't generally apply them to the game world. But I still think there are right ways to do this, and wrong ways... and stuff like XXX is the wrong way.

I think I can wait for the US version... which you should import as you can READ it lol. Some people have just beaten the game in the past few days. The quickest I've heard was 20 to 25 hours. And that's ONLY to get to the end. It's not including collecting every shine and extra. There are rumors that you get some nice bonuses for 100% completion... but who really knows? I'd hope it would be more than a lifeless Luigi on a roof that will give you 99 lives (like Yoshi did in Mario 64). Most of this game has not yet been shown. Official pictures only reflect like the first 3 levels. I, unfortunately, have accidently seen some of the stuff past those levels. Trust me, don't sreach for it. Just let it be a surprise when it happens. I also had the story behind Water Mario ruined for me. I won't say anything about it, other than it was totally not what I expected at all. It wasn't even one of my guesses lol. August 26th is soooooo far.

Yeah it's been cancelled. Fox is showing what was left of it... and might show reruns. But, no more new episodes will be produced.

Not in the way they did it. In his previous flashbacks he was in charge in a good deal of them. Even The Simpsons creators have admitted that it makes little sense.

Sorry, I got the names mixed up. It's been several years :). White is probably what turned into the Pearl spell in other FFs... the main difference is that it is like 20 times more powerful (I always thought Pearl was near useless in FF6). You can very easily get 9999 damage on monsters with it, even if Rosa isn't near Level 99 yet. It's basically the White equivalent of Black's Meteo or Ultima... without the drawbacks (Meteo' casting time is long, and Ultima damages you badly depending on the game...forget if it's like that in all of them. I know it's like that in FF6). FFXI should be very cool I think. I don't know why they didn't just call it FFOnline or something. It would have made more sense... especially since FFXII is going to be another single player game.

Punk, pop-punk, etc. Considering all the people here who seem to love theses styles of music, I'm sure most people know these bands as they are pretty big (for punk anyway).

Haha, I was just about to make a little graph showing what FF is what, but Desbreko beat me to it :).

Alright people, Reign Of Fire(May Be a Spoiler)
Semjaza replied to Heartless Me's topic in Noosphere
Yeah, I wonder about that... It's possible that there is something in ash that they need to survive... Why else would the dragon bother biting so many things without burning them? -
White is a spell Rydia can use in FF4 (FF2 here). It's pretty damn powerful against the right enemies. I know for a fact FF1 doesn't have it. I'm not sure about FF2 and FF3 though.

I've yet to see GC shells. They are easily available for DC and PSX, but that's all I've seen. Right now my DC is half clear blue and half white :). As for Colorconsoles... They link to IGN and Gamespot's reviews. They paint the entire system, each part a different color if you like. They do an amazing job, it almost even looks like they color under the stickers. I've never seen anyone do it better. They will also mod the GC with an external switch for 10 bucks more. They put the switch on the side instead of the back like most places, and it honestly looks a lot cleaner this way. They will also change the color of the LED light on the GC for a few extra dollars. I am still waiting for them to offer flat colors like they promised. I'm not into the metallics (the light blue is nice though). I just want plain old white, with a blue light :). Otherwise, Freeloader is a great alternative. Too bad it's not out now.
