1. I thought it was a 5 or 6 year exclusivity agreement... Not just a little over 1.
2. That's a completely different stance than he had before. I remember when Sears completely stopped selling M rated games (the big one in Chicago doesn't even sell Nintendo games at all for some reason), and he said every store should do that. He didn't want them around at all, and made that clear several times in the past. Somehow I wonder if he will keep this stance
3. Um, the good thing to do would be to stop dislocating your hips  . That can't be good after a while lol.
4. I suck at poetry, so I admire anyone good at it... And judging from that you are very good. I like it a lot. I bet you have more, so put them up ;).
5. I'm not gay, but I have no problem admitting if a guy looks good. I'd have to go with the main character from Macross II, Hibiki Kanzaki. Count Meier from Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust looks good too...for a vampire lol.
6. I am not clear on the name of this anime... I think it is Furi Kuri, but I've also seen it called other things such as Fully Cooly. Anyway, I saw a music video using clips from this anime online. Quite simply it looked amazing, but I cannot find anything about it. I can't find a tape or DVD anywhere either. Does anyone know anything about this anime?
7. Robotech like 10 years ago, maybe even earlier, got me into anime...Even if Robotech is a rewritten mish-mash of different Macross shows lol. I really started getting into it once I found the Ghost in the Shell manga, and video stores actually started renting lots of anime videos.

Jay Leno

I don't know if anyone watches these... But I'd rather watch Insomnia or Prime Time with Jiminy Glick on Comedy Certral any day. Jimminy Glick is one of the funniest shows on right now.
9. Well a few things. Lieberman is clueless. He apparently thinks the original Doom or MK are recent games. Also, Thrill Kill wasn't actually banned. EA bought the company that was making Thrill Kill, and decided it didn't fit with their philosophy or strategy. Of course it was only about the violence, and EA didn't want to get crap about it. If you look online you can find Thrill Kill, as a beta copy was leaked. I downloaded it a long time ago. I believe the engine was reused for that Wu-Tang fighter. Anyway, I don't think Lieberman had anything to do with that. He also doesn't want to simply edit games. He doesn't want them made AT ALL. The rating system came about as a compromise because of him. Just like the Explicit Lyrics label resulted from Tipper Gore going nuts about her daughter's CDs. Luckily she didn't totally get her way. Lieberman will never be elected president. He doesn't much going for him other than jumping on issues that get him exposure. Not to mention he is simply scary looking. Overall though, he is a total jerk and I cannot stand him.
10. Oh, I forgot. OLD Slipknot. I don't mean the self-titled release, I mean "Mate Feed Kill Repeat" which was their first. That CD was amazing. They would go from lounge music to the heaviest stuff you ever heard in a heartbeat. And it actually worked. They had so much potential, and while their self-titled was good it has none of the uniqueness as the first. I thought "Iowa" was god-awful. Get the song "Do Nothing/Bitchslap" if you are into these guys. Amazing song.
11. Hmm... I never broke anything in my life. I never even had chicken pox lol. I had surgery on my left wrist because I had a cyst...that was it :). I also cut open the top of my head very badly and got stitches when I was like 6. Man that was like 12 years ago lol. I have all the symptoms of a certain type of cancer, which I'm going to get checked out soon. Most likely nothing, but I'm not looking forward to finding out honestly.
12. I guess anything that fits in "rock." I  punk. AFI, The Ataris, MxPx, Millencolin, The Ramones, Goldfinger, Ozma, Apocalypse Hoboken, Bad Relgion, NUFAN, etc. I used to be into metal (Korn, Pantera, etc.), but punk pulled me out of it. About all I listen to in that category now is System of a Down. Although some industrial bands I like have metal sound too. I also like industrial type bands... godhead, Curve, 12 Rounds, Kidneytheives, Rammstein, NiN, etc I LOVE Cibo Matto and The Pixies, but I don't even know what they are considered. I also like Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers... Not to mention older bands like The Doors (YAY) and Bowie (who just put a new CD out today). My theee absolute favorite bands are The Tea Party, Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson. I get a lot of crap from people about liking Manson, but it has been my favorite band for years. Can't wait for the next CD :D. Seriously, if no one has heard of The Tea Party... check out any of their CDs. An AMAZING band, especially on the CD Transmission.
13. I'm pretty sure there is a Legend of Legaia 2... I thought I read something about Eidos publishing it under their "Fresh Games" label. Personally, I didn't like the first at all. I found it rather unclear and boring.
14. Goldeneye basically invented and popularized the whole aiming at specific body parts idea. In Goldeneye it actually mattered where you shot people, and they acted and animated accordingly. Few games to this day even do that. It was also one of the first games to be something more than shooting. I play PC FPS games more than anything, and Goldeneye was definately a step in the right direction. A lot of people seem to think that Miyamoto's comments mean Mario Kart GC is going to be cel shaded. Personally, I think it might mean that it's going to become more of an all Nintendo characters thing rather than just Mario characters... Kinda like Smash Brothers. I just hope it will have some online functions.
15. Well I've had this game for like 2 weeks now. It isn't getting good ratings, but I'm not sure why. The battle system is very unique and entertaining once you get used to it. The graphics are probably on par with most DC games. The style though is amazing, and the character designs are great despite the somewhat low poly models. Music is geneally forgetable, and the the main title theme is simply crap. The sound effects are cool though. Everyone you talk to has some Japanese word they yell at you when you start a converstation, which I thought was cool. The battle system involves getting cards. You are allowed 30 cards per deck, and only one deck can be used in each area. You can leave and enter an area whenever you want if you run out of cards though. You can buy new cards, you will also find them... Generally the best thing to do is to try and capture a monster. You use a "card capture throw" on an enemy and if he is weak enough he will be added to your card collection. However, using the card capture throw wastes cards and it doesn't always work. As for fighting... well Katia cannot attack at all. You run out of cards and you are screwed. Thankfully some cards allow you to bring cards out of the used pile so you can use them again. Some cards allow Katia to attack, some cast spells and some summon a monster like in FF. You can use 4 cards at once, and each are assigned to a different face button. Once you get used to it , it's pretty cool. The game is short though, like 10 hours. But I certainly think it's worth pickin up. Sorry about the long post *-*.
16. The game is supposedly huge. I've read 60 hours to get through it (although I'm willing to be it takes less than half that long). However, there are three different paths to take at the beginning which affect the gameplay. That would count for 3 times through, but ED lets you have four save slots per main save...And Rick at PGC led me to believe that after you play through it those three times, the fourth would get you another ending or whatever else... At least that's the impression I got. This is something I am buying. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a freak for this game, and have been since it was first shown on N64. Two more weeks!
17. Heh I was just guessing since I couldn't remember the name :).
18. I'd go so far as to say it's the best anime I ever saw.
19. Well... those Tenchi tapes I bought seemed as though they weren't in print for a long time. They still had hard cases even. I don't think the more recent Tenchi releases (like Toyko) come in that type of case, but they were also on clearance. The guy I talked to didn't really have a reason... But it seems like DVD is what most anime companies are leaning to right now.
20. I've got Jin-Roh on DVD. It's pretty good. It takes place in Japan, but the Japan in the movie is like a totalitarian government that controls the area. It mainly revolves around a soldier named Fuse, who starts to question what is going on when he fails to kill (or save even) a young girl who is a member of "The Sect" (they are like the rebels of the movie). It's somewhat psyhcological, and a very good movie. I've seen it for about 20 dollars, but the 2 Disc special edition is like 60. And like Kouberi said, the directors of Ghost in the Shell scripted and directed it.
21. Some of you guys are really in denial. What James said is true. Nintendo was making a CD system with Sony, it was even going to be 32 bit (the codename was Playstation X, which is why Playstation is referred to as PSX right now). Nintendo for some reason also approcahed Philips for the CD drive, which of course pissed off Sony. In this whole process Nintendo just called the whole thing off, mainly because it was taking so long and the Sega CD flopped. So Sony took those plans and adopted them into the Playstation we now know, and since Nintendo pulled out they gave Philips the rights to Nintendo characters on it's CD-i system (which is how we got the really bad CD-i Zelda and Mario games). So Nintendo and Sony basically made the Playstation at first, there were even prototypes supposedly. You can find this info on most any big gaming site like www.classicgames.com. It's not some BS conspiracy.
22. I don't know... The Beatles didn't INVENT rock, they basically popularized it and helped bring it out of the idea that "rock is devil music." I know they influenced it a lot, but it wasn't their creation. Music sucks in America if you go by the radio. They play what the average idiot here wants to here. Personally, I find that if you find a type of music you like and stick with the more "underground" stuff, you are going to find things you like a lot more. There are so many good local bands here, and smaller punk, rock and industrial bands in the country that get NO breaks or radio play. Honestly, I don't like most techno... it depends. I like bands that use electronics in their music (which is basically everyone now, but anyway) such as Cibo Matto... They make good and obvious use of it, rather than 5 minutes of one constant beat that drives me insane. I haven't even liked most of the recent stuff out of Europe. I'm generally not into the styles that are doing well over there right now. But yeah it does seem they get into stuff way before America even hears of it. To me popularity does not equal good, no matter what place in the world it's at.
23. I live in Chicago, and every single Suncoast I've been to around here is having a clearance on Tenchi, Wanderers, Battle Athletes, etc. tapes. I got the entire Tenchi Universe series there for 5 bucks a piece. They also have those obscure Pretty Sammy, Mihoshi Special and Ryo-Ohki tapes :).
24. I'm surprised so many of you don't know what DDR is... Basically a song is played, and arrows (Up, Down, Left Right) scroll from the bottom to the top of the screen. You have to push the direction on the floor to match the arrow on the screen... It honestly isn't easy to explain but it's fun as hell. Think of a dancing game on the NES Powerpad, more or less. Although you can use the controller too. And Konamix is what the US DDR should have been. Konami of America chose some crappy songs for the first one. If you have the money and really love this game you should buy a hard pad, instead of a soft. They go from 50 to 80 bucks on Ebay (sometimes a lot less if you are lucky), but are made from inch thick PVC and all the buttons light up. You can jump on the thing in shoes if you wanted to.
25. I think Macross is pretty well known to people that watch anime outside of Cartoon Network's Toonami. So is Record of the Lodoss War...So I'm not sure what you are considering "rare." But oh well, I'm just gonna list ones most people I know don't know about lol. I find that a lot of people haven't heard of these: - 3x3 Eyes (Everyone should see this). - Riding Bean (Short, but great action), - Genesis Survivor Gaiarth - Roujin Z (I think most people know this, but I'm not sure...great anime). - Boogiepop Phantom - Nadia: Secret of Blue Water - Castle of Cologostrio (sp?) - Black Heaven - Love Hina - Persona (I think this was the name, it was subtitled and VERY good) - Wicked City (this isn't all that rare honestly) - Crying Freeman - Giant Robo ... That's all I can think of offhand haha.
