Whoohaa Super Rad rules. Dude I love the Aquabats, y'all just don't know. Any group of guys that are willing to play their shows in masks and capes are cool in my book.

I like Sugarcult. I have their .... what is it, Start Static cd? The new one, with the amp plug on the front. It's okay, I'll listen to it every now and then. I tend to lean more towards the up-beat punk anyway, like New Found Glory, MxPx, Hangnail. I've found I've gotten a little bored with punk though...... everything is sounding the same.... I hate that. I still like punk now, but it's just getting harder to find original-sounding music in that genre. Originality is quite important to me, which is probably why I'm not all that big on Sugarcult. But they're still alright.

Holy cheese............. talk about nostalgia.... I remember that. Wow. That was back when I was SuperRadSchitzo (later changed to SuperRadSkitzo)....... geez louise! Man, I'm speechless.....

A lot. School, band, drill team, school, homework (separate from school), seminary, had a birthday, school, got in a car accident (my fault), school, and school. I'm lucky to get online once a week. I have a football game tomorrow and ............ I KNOW something's going on Saturday... I'll have to check my planner...... YES I have a planner, and I need it. It's almost TOO much at the moment, but school's only been in a little more than a month, so things still have to time to smooth over I guess.

Hmm,....... for some reason I feel a little left out of this topic.... perhaps because I'm not all excited about seeing hot girls at school? :cross: Anyways..... I have mixed feelings about school, about the work, the people, and .... just.. stuff. I don't have a 'fine guy' or what have you to look forward to seeing everday at school to keep me interested (I used to, but that's an entirely different tub of mud), and in all blatant honesty, there's no hot guys at our school. >_< I know that sounds very mean of me, but it's the darned truth dagnit. There are a couple of cuties but.............:drunk: aaaaaAAAAGh new subject. I HATE GUYS! ^_^ Uh don't mind me, I have Tourette's syndrome. I'm having a little problem in Statistics..... or I was, I'm doing better though since I started doing my homework (connection? possibly?), and Alg. II--which I'm having to retake due to my slothfulness last year--is still riding my tail end a bit, but I'll win this battle yet! :blackeye: Just as long as I can pump iron in 7th period I'll be alright..... weight-lifting relieves a lot of my stress.:whoops:

Dude, The Monkees are so IT. They were more towards the late 60's than the 50's and whatnot, but I love that show! ^_^ It's classic in my opinion. Davy Jones was such a cutie patootie back then, him and his cute little British accent. ^_^

Strongest Points *Well-rounded in my talents, interests, and friends... open-minded I guess *Strong core belief system--nothing shakes it, or myself *Can admit when I'm wrong, and I usually apologize Weakest Points *I'm too nice...... yes, this is a weakness *I say the meanest things when I'm angered. I'm not talking about swear words--when I'm mad I make cutting comments in a snap without thinking about it. I guess 'cause I don't get mad very easily, but after a while things build up I guess. *aaaaaannnd...... I'm lazy/procrastinate (I see the two linked to gther, so they count as one :p)

What does your sig/avator/user name mean?
Anna replied to Utena_Tenjou's topic in General Discussion
NAME: Uhhh.... isn't it a little obvious?? :p AVATAR: It's Misato, from EVA. We sort of resemble eachother, and she's my favorite character from the series. BANNER: Kenshin, made by The One (many thanks, dude). Kenshin is another of my favorite series, and the whole romantic vibe of the banner is, I think, very fitting for the show. It's like, 'what you DON'T see in the series!'. hehe ^_^ And I'm a sap, so there's that explanation... SIG: The lyrics to a song which hit home for me, by an a capella group called Inside Out. -
My parents have no problem with my clothes... except a couple times my mom nagged me about some low-rise pants. Other than that my clothes are fine by them............. in fact I think my mom wears as much of my clothing as I do -__- that's kind of aggrivating after a while.... she's a kid, I swear mentally she's a kid.... As for this mini discussion of style and whatnot, your state of mind shouldn't be affected by your clothes. I made the statement backwards on purpose. Think about it, you say you match your clothes to your mood, when in reality your mood is more than likely created by your clothes. Colors can, after a period of time, have a psychological effect on people who wear a certain hue on a regular basis, whether it be black, red, blue, whatever. For example, I wear blue all the time, and blue is a peaceful, soothing, mellow color. That's how the core of my personality is usually, and of course there are other elements to how I act, but whenever I wear a nice shade of blue, I just feel calm all over. A friend of mine wears red a lot, and red's a passionate, aggressive, and sometimes angry color. I've never really asked her how she feels in certain shirts O_o, but often I'll see her aggression come out more when she's wearing red. She probably doesn't even realize it, just like some people don't conciously realize their black t-shirts are putting them in a bad mood, and this is just from my own observations which have validity to them. Anyway my point is that your "state of mind" can be fooling you. If you only feel the way you do only when your wear a certain ensemble, you might want to check yourself. You're not so independent from image as you think you are.

lol..... Trust me y'all, Space Mountain does NOT have any "loops". It's a hill of beans compared to Rockin' Rollercoaster... I rode it and was bored out of my mind... Anyway, YESSSS I love roller coasters!! The only ride I've ridden at a Six Flags was the Ninja (I was 10 the only time I've ever been, and was scared of them), so I'm really itching to go back sometime in the future and ride every friggin ride I see there. We went to Disney World back in Februrary for a Marching Band trip (we marched in a parade.... 30 mintues total, tops... and got 4 days out of Orlando ^_^), and Rockin' Rollercoaster was definately one of my favorites. I also rode the Hulk and Dueling Dragons and a few others I can't really remember. The absolute BEST part about that trip though, was that it was in FEBRURARY-out of season. We rode Dueling Dragons like, 4 or 5 times IN A ROW without more than a five minute wait in line. That made it all the better.

-__-; All I've seen of either Kenshin OR Trigun I've seen dubbed..... >_< Vash's voice is very fitting though, his actor does a very good job.... I don't know about the other characters, but Vash is close to perfect-as perfect as you can get for a dub. Kenshin, .... his VA is alright I suppose, but I saw a tiny bit of a subtitled clip on the internet one time, and the acting's definately better subbed. Kaoru can get on my nerves in the dubs, as well as Yahiko >_

I guess I'm on a different level than y'all, but I don't really like Creed. I like some of the old stuff they had before they hit mainstream........... their songs got sooooo played out I began to hate them.
-
Well I have to confess I don't really know too many of his songs. I like Billy Jean and Black or White, and probably a couple of others, but I've never been like, a fan or anything. I just have a respect for him as an artist. I don't care what critics or a lot of our generation say; he is truly talented, and has been through hell and back in his life. He deserves the credit he gets and more.

-__-;; yeah, Chobits is cute alright. But ..... ya know, it must just be me in this world -__-;;; but I really don't like all the nudity for crying out loud. I mean sure the chick is bound to mess up a couple times with the whole ignorance to the purpose of clothing thing , but with all the porn insinuatives...... agh, I dunno. I just don't get into that. It just gets old for me, seeing a little naked girl running around. Come on now, every 25 seconds there was some sexual referenace in that manga. Yes, it's cute-it's CLAMP-but I can do without this one.

The Hippos re-did "Always Something There to Remind Me". They did a really good job. I like "Take On Me!" I haven't heard any re-makes of it, and I like the original just fine. And America didn't "put out" the song, A-Ha was from Norway.... but I guess America certainly promoted it. ^_^ And this is aside from punk music, but if you ever want to hear some really good cover songs, about 75% of a capella out there do just that: cover songs. But MAN they are so friggin AWESOME if the group is decent. I have a cd that's all a capella; ten songs are from a BYU-based group that has since broken up, but they do some really nice covers of 80's songs, and then there's another college group 110: they redid "Pinball Wizard" by The Who.............. :wow: MAN it friggin RULES!!! They also did "Billy Jean" by Michael Jackson and "Pride" by U2......... y'all should really check this stuff out. It's so awesome that these songs are 100% vocal.... but it sounds JUST LIKE a full band with drums and everything. (vocal percussion ROCKS!) OKay well, I'll shaddup now, 'cause I know the next to NO ONE here gives a rip about a capella besides me......... -__- it's just as well.... -EDiT- I just remembered Goldfinger re-made "10,000 Red Balloons" (the title's actually 10,000 Luft Balloons... at least I think that's how it's spelled) by some German 80's band. I can't remember who.... they were like a one-hit-wonder or something... The song's on Grand Turismo 3, so that's how I found out about it. ^_^
Originally posted by Cera Um.....okay, it moves back and forth a little bit.... I feel so left out. :bawl:
lol! Man I love that thing...... .... of course there's that darn saying that states small minds are easily amused..... if that's true my brain might as well be this smiley :excited: See? it's my brain. I'm sad.......:blackeye:
Actually, it made sense to me. I don't understand why you people are all sitting here trying to start arguments with people who know what they are talking about...it's getting overly annoying.
Sometimes I think people here just want something to *complain* about.... EDiT- I had a stronger word there but I thought better of leaving it be....

I love subtitles. GAWL have any of you seen Crouching tiger Hidden Dragon DUBBED??! (I know this is slightly off topic, but I'll bring it back to point in a sec) OI! I first saw it subbed (rented it), and I loved it. Then my mom went to rent it again, but she brought it back SUBBED! ::dies ten times over:: AWFUL!! Of course, I can honestly saw all but one martial arts film I've ever seen with a spoken English dialogue sucked..... I watched them for laughs (thank you, Action Channel), because you can't recreate a scene just speaking it, I don't care how excited the VA is. But with subtitles, just like QA and wrist cutter and I think amiboshi said, you can still hear/feel the orinigal emotions when the actual seiyuu (sp??) were "in the moment" of their acting. I don't have a problem reading dialogue at all. All you dubbies are just lazy. :p

Dude, I like that.......... *keeps rocking back and forth in her chair.......*

lol, Cera, all because of you I'm now moving to Rancine! I want a kringle! j/k ^_^ Anyway, ummmm........... :thinks hard :worried:: middle Georgia??? Okay, let's see how I can sum this up- Well I had an awful lot typed up, but I figured most of it would be taken the wrong way by other southerners here, so I'll just say that if you ever want to hear the pro-Confederate's view of the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln, Georgia is the right place. *rolls eyes* Sorry y'all but I am NOT from Georgia, and I don't really agree with a lot that's said and thought here. But oh well. I'm originally from Utah anyway, so I guess I'll throw in a rather well-known fact for the masses: SALT LAKE CITY- not only the home of the 2002 Winter Olympics, but also the headquarters to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints aka the MORMONS! whooo! *waves a flag* That's all I can think of right now.
-
*sniffles and gets sappy* I WANT TO SEE KENSHIN AND KAORU GET TOGETHER!!! ::tears up, chin quivers:: It be soooooo sweet to see!!! ::sighs hopelessly:: Alas, my sentimental side is trying to take over. Excuse me whilst I go and blow my eardrums out with some anti-emotion heavy metal. ::dies::
