Well I didn't see that anyone had this one yet... I love Sleeping Beauty and I also like Pirates of the Carribbean and there are many other ones that I enjoy, but those are the ones that I like. So yeah... it is always a good time for a Disney movie... I would definately have to agree with Queen Asuka.

Well I have been told that I have a great smile and a good personality. Others have told me that they find the fact that I just don't care what others think and I will get tattoos and piercings, color my hair, wear my tank tops and what not.... and ya know, I think that people like me for me... now really other than that I don't really know... I just know what some have told me and what others say they heard about me. So I don't really know anymore. I just like being me and well, if ya don't like it, ya can deal with it.

1. If your avatar has a character, what race, age (if applicable) and gender is it? (avatars without characters are neutral or asexual) I guess mine is just neutral... I love my little dragon. 2. Would you say your avatar is masculine, feminine or both? Why? Masculine... well it is a dragon 3. Does it have mature or childish attributes? I think it is mature... I don't know 4. What gender and race are you? I am female, and South Korean 5. When you meet someone online, unless they specify, do you feel you naturally think of them as white? (Answering yes is not racist - this is much more common than you think) well it depends... but normally yeah I would have to assume they are white.... 6. Do you roleplay? If yes, identify your roleplaying character in terms of race, history, gender and sexual preference (if applicable). not usually 7. Have you ever been mistaken for another race or gender or have been asked due to the lack of detail in your profile? Well yes, yes and yes. I have been mistaken for white, and hispanic. I am South Korean, and I am proud of it. I have been mistaken for a boy, currently it is due to my short hair cut. I have been asked many a time... due to lack of details. 8. Have you mistaken others for being of another race, age or gender? How many times (if applicable)? Yeah... I would have to say that I have a couple of times... we had this boy named Billy who worked my job for a very short time and well he looked like a girl. He had boobs and everything... Age is a hard one to tell with some older black people, some asian people and some hispanic people. like not trying to be racist, cuz believe me i'm not... but sometimes it is just hard to tell. Race.... I get asked so many times if I am Chinese or Japanese, for some odd reason they never ask me if I am Korean. 9. What does your online nickname mean or how did you come up with it? CoraJane2- Well this one came from my alias when I write poetry or things like that. I love the name Cora, and well another nickname is CJ. TheGothicFrog- This one came from some of my friends, since I love frogs, and I always wore black. I had this black t-shirt that had a green tree frog on it. 10. Do you think people online tend to correctly guess your age, race or gender most of the time without being told? No. Not many people guess an almost 21 year old South Korean female... oh well what can you do. 11. Do you think people tend to correctly guess your sexual preference without being told? normally... I would have to say yes. 12. Would you feel threatened if people online knew your age, gender, race or sexual preference? If so, why? nope.

Mama's Fallen Angel I am a Fallen Angel Running from everything Running far away from home Yet she loves me so. Mama?s love for Me so strong Brought me home Where I belong. Mama?s Fallen Angel Learning how to fly Falling on my face Wanting just to cry. She loves me so I know! When I came running home. Mama?s Fallen Angel Gone so long But came back home Where I am to be. Mama?s little girl Left without reason Running and afraid Just wanting to be free. Running was all I did But I ran back home, Mama?s Fallen Angel Home at last You see. Life was so wrong To me, All I wanted Was to die. Mama?s Fallen Angel Come home at last And free. I wrote this poem for my mom, because I am her Fallen Angel. I left a caption under the poem when I gave it to her, and it read: Thanks Mom for being there when I needed you the most. Thanks for believing in me when I didn't even believe in myself.

Man! How could I forget Newsies!! I loved that. Every time I would stay home sick from school I would watch musicals all day long, and I probably watched Newsies twice a day. What can I say? It is a great show.

When I was little I wanted to be a concert pianist and get to play in the great halls and auditoriums. Then as I grew older I wanted to be a narcotics cops. I wanted to be the crazy cop that would make the big busts and raids. Then I wanted to be masseuse. I still want to play piano, well better than I do now. I haven't played in years though, that kind of disappeared when I moved out of my parents house and they sold the piano. I still want to own a piano and teach kids when I get older and out of school. I want a baby grand piano in my house in a room that is just dedicated to music. I am thinking about going back to school this fall for either Criminal Justice/Law with a minor in Philosophy. Or I could go to school for Massage Therapy. I can't really deicde which one I want to do more. I will probably go and get a degree in Philosophy no matter what though. So I guess I am following my dreams, I just hope I can stick to them.

I came up with me name from an old nickname and pseudonym I use when I write. I used to sign most things as CJ. And that is where this name comes from. I was Cora Jane in all my short stories, and when I would sign my poetry I used Cora Jane. I also liked how it looked when I signed it. However, I still love the name Cora. So it works for me.

I must say that it was a great movie. I saw it last night after I had a good friend raving on and on about it the day before. I was impressed, but as Athena I was expecting a little more, though I'm not quite sure what. I loved V. I must say though if you haven't seen it, you should see it.

Ok well here it goes, my attempt for an interesting thread. I didn?t see a recent thread on it and I thought it would be fun. So here it goes? JURY DUTY Have any of you had to do jury duty? I was selected and have had to go March 13, 2006 and I sat there for about an hour and then was sent home and told to call a number on Sunday. I went back March 20, 2006 and I sat there all day and wasn?t even pick to be a possible juror, but was told to come back March 21, 2006. Well I went back today and they sent me home and told me to call back yet again on March 22,2006. I find it rather ridiculous to have to come, sit, wait, and go just to do it over the next day. I think it is pointless to go and just to be sent home. I wasn?t picked so why did I have to come back just to be sent home? How did you feel about doing the service? What do you think of the judicial system? Do you agree with how the courts are run? I guess I just have a hard time just sitting there and waiting to be sent back home when I am getting up about 4 hours before I normally would on a regular day. But personally I think that our judicial system is a mess. I think that doing the service and providing a fair trial is good and well, but everyone has a bias whether the say so or not. The defense attorney brought up a good point today. How would you feel if say your mother/father/sibling/family member/ or significant other where on trial? Would you want the jury to be the same race as the person being tried? Would that make you feel more comfortable or would you rather have a jury of people of another race trying that person? Does Race Play A Factor? I was just thinking and would like to hear others opinions on the topic,

Well actually I also just got a hair cut and this one is extremely short... hehe it is shorter than my brother's hair. We ended up going out that night and I was mistaken for a boy. I was in jeans and a hoody, but my hoody was long so you couldn't see my rear. The jeans were looser, kind of boot cut. It was rather funny, so I didn't really care. However I must say I love this hair cut. It is short and if I were to wear a ball cap and baggy jeans and a t-shirt with a hoody it would happen again... so I went back to wearing tank tops and tight jeans. What can I say? I will probably keep this hair style for a while.

YAY!! Tattoo thread!!! Ok I got my excitement out. Anyways, I currently have two tattoos and am planning on a few more. But my first one is on my left shoulder blade. It is a red rose that has a banner going around the stem that says "Every rose has its thorn". And I love it, not just for the song, but because it describes everything about me and about life. Everything beautiful has something that 'pains' us. This tattoo is colored in. But yeah. My second tattoo is on my right shoulder blade and it an eye with two roses, one rose is formed at the bottom of the eye from I guess you could call it a stream of tears, and the other one goes diagonal so the rose bud is by the corner of the eye. This tattoo is in all black. I intend when I get the money to get a three rose/tribal on my lower back on my jean line. There will be a rose in the middle and then tribal coming out from both sides, and in the tribal there will be a single stem red rose coming out on the end of either side. I also want to get my Korean name tattooed on my ankle in Korean. I thought would be pretty neat to bring my culture home. I also have a friend designing me a tattoo, and if I like it so much and it is that incredible I told him I would have his name/signature tattooed directly below it. As for you kids who are say about 18 or younger, don't be too eager to get yourself inked up. I have been planning these for years, granted I am only going to be 21 in like 3 weeks, and I have my list, but I have changed my mind so many times about the tattoos that I want it's not even funny. I have put a lot of thought into all of my tattoos, and trust me you don't want to put something on your body that you will regret 5, 10, 20 years down the road.

Ok I would have to say my theme songs would have to be ***** by Meredith Brooks I hate the world today, You're so good to me, I know, but I can't change, Tried to tell you, But you look at me like maybe, I'm an angel underneath, Innocent and sweet, Yesterday I cried, You must have been relieved to see, The softer side, I can understand how you'd be so confused, I don't envy you, I'm a little bit of everything, All rolled into one Chorus: I'm a *****, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint, I do not feel ashamed, I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between, You know you wouldn't want it any other way So take me as I am, This may mean You'll have to be a stronger man, Rest assure that, When I start to make you nervous, And I'm going to extremes, Tomorrow I will change, And today won't mean a thing Chorus Just when you think, You got me figured out, The season's already changing, I think it's cool, You do what you do, And don't try to save me Chorus I'm a *****, I'm a tease, I'm a goddess, On my knees, When you hurt, When you suffer, I'm your angel undercover, I've been numb, I'm revived, Can't say I'm not alive, You know I wouldn't want it any other way And my second theme song would have to be Every Rose Has Its Thorn by Poison We both lie silently still in the dead of the night Although we both lie close together We feel miles apart inside Was it something I said or something I did Did the words not come out right Though I tried not to hurt you Though I tried But I guess that's why they say Chorus: Every rose has its thorn Just like every night has its dawn Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song Every rose has its thorn Yeah it does I listen to our favorite song playing on the radio Hear the DJ say loves a game of easy come and easy go But I wonder does he know Has he ever felt like this And I know that you'd be here somehow If I could have let you know somehow I guess Chorus Though it's been a while now I can still feel so much pain Like a knife that cuts you the wound heals but the scar, that scar remains Solo I know I could have saved a love that night If I'd known what to say Instead of makin' love We both made our separate ways But now I hear you found somebody new and that I never meant that much to you To hear that tears me up inside And to see you cuts me like a knife I guess Chorus I think these two songs pretty much say I'm me! Gifts from Ex -boyfriends / girlfriends
Cora Jane 2 replied to vegeta rocker's topic in General Discussion
I guess I would have to agree it would depend on the person that it is from and with what intentions. I am freinds with most of my ex-boyfriends. I have one imparticular who is one of my best friends. But it would depend on who it was from. As for giving gifts, my ex-boyfriend of a year and a half, I intend on getting him started on his tattoo. I was planning this for a while, but it was going to be his birthday present from me in July, but I still intend on giving him a couple hundred dollars to get him started on his, which will be probably over three grand when it is all said and done. But what can I say, we are still friends and he payed for my last one. So yeah, that's about it. -
Well I guess as far as piercings go I had my ears pierces professionally and I did all my cartilage piercings. I had three on the bottom on both sides and three on the top on both sides. I also have my nose pierced. I did that one myself then took it out due to family reasons... which is a whole other story, then went and got it professionally done. I also had below my tongue pierced, the skin that connects the tongue to the bottom of your mouth. Unfortunately that broke and I am looking to go get my tongue pierced since that was the reason I got below it pierced. But I intend to get the skin clipped if I still can't get it pierced. I also had my navel pierced, but I did that one myself and I had to let it close since it got infected. However once I lose a little weight I might go get it done again, well make that when I get my six pack back. I need to get into shape first. But yeah, if you don't know what you are doing you should definately not pierce anything yourself. But that is about it. Now tattoos are a whole other issue. So yeah. That is about all I have to say.

Introvert, Extrovert, or Ambivert?
Cora Jane 2 replied to Albert Flasher's topic in General Discussion
I'd say I'm an ambivert, because I fall right in the middle. There are times where I am very outgoing, assertive and what not, and then there are times where I just hole up in my room away from the world listening to music and writing poetry and what not off in my own little world. So I guess I am an ambivert, right in the middle. -
Well I must agree with alot of the shows that have been mentioned above, but my all time favories would have to be Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Rent, and Chicago . Well you want me to tell you why I like these shows. Well here you go. Les Miserables, first off this is an excellent show, and I love the music. I enjoyed seeing that when it came to Omaha. Phantom of the Opera, that was an incredible show to see on stage when I was in New York City a few years back. It has a great plot and has wonderful music. I must say though that if you get a chance to see either one of these shows on stage go and see them. Rent and Chicago I loved the music. It is always fun to hear what other shows people like or have seen.

Ok I watch both of these shows. I find that I enjoy Family Guy better than South Park. My friends and I watch them after we watch my episodes of Smallville. Anywho. Stewie makes me laugh as does Cartman. But the last episode I watched of Family Guy was the one where Stewie and Brian end up glued together. That was kinda funny.

I guess the fact being that I have been lazy and haven't even really been around lately, I have been unable to give my comments on this movie. Though I have seen it twice and well I must say that I did enjoy Johnny Depp's performance as Captain Jack Sparrow. I do admit to being a Depp fan, and I must say that I did like his hair and eye makeup. T'was very pleasing to the eyes. Anywho. Now about the movie. I found it rather nice to see a good pirate movie, and done by Disney at that. I must agree with Piro though, that the violence that they put into the movie was what I found shocking. Also I believe it was Mitch who made the comment about it being very predictable, well I must say that once you realized why Will (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) where there and that they were in love. That just seemed to be the norm for any movie. I think that Orlando and Keira could have at least tried to look "in love" instead of just kinda "gazing" into each others eyes/souls (since your eyes are how you see into the soul). That is about as "in love" as they seemed. The plot to this movie was rather thin, and making a second movie to a great movie makes me wonder. I must agree with whomever said that the same thing would be rather boring, and thus would make me not want to see the second movie. I am glad to see that they got the cast back for the second movie. Johnny Depp saved this movie, and I am a bit curious to see what the second one will entail. Now about the animation. I must give kudos to them because when they were
skeletons and fighting in the caves, I must say that that was incredible to see their bodies change and it was done extremely well. I really found it neat with the partial body in the moonlight and how it changed.
What can I say I love effects like that. Things were done well, and kept the audience's attention. I must say this though, personally I find that Orlando looks better with dark hair compared to his light/blond-ish colored hair that he has as Legolas in LotR. What can I say though, long (dark) hair and eye makeup catches my eyes every time. But anywho. I must say once again, Johnny Depp is what made the movie, and it was worth the $6, that I paid to see it the first time, and then the $14 that I paid for my father and I to see it again (his first time and my second). I enjoyed the movie, and I must say that others should see it as well. I guess I am done for now... seeing as I could go on and on more.

I guess I just need to be here a bit more than I am.... well when online I am a bit more blunt, rude, open, and yah. In person occasionally I am still blunt, rude, shy, and yah. But yeah. I tend to be shy around people I don't know very well in person. Online I try to get to know them and am a bit more open than I would be in RL. So yah. That's me.

Well as the title wards, Does any one here like or listen to STYX? Just wondering. I love their music and the excellent guitar work. Well if any one likes them, let's here why you like them, and your favorite album. I like all their stuff though... lol. So yah. Let's Here It!
Originally posted by James For instance, I can't stand total and utter silence. You know, the kind where you can hear the blood vessels moving around in your brain. lol So, I have a small fan in my room that I put on every single night. Even if it's freezing cold, I put it on and sometimes turn it away from me. I need the noise. But having said that, I don't really like music or any kind of loud noise when I'm sleeping. The fan's good because it's a constant hum and it's not too loud. So, that's usually how I fall asleep. ~_^

Originally posted by SoloTremaine Silence makes me think too much, and when I'm tired I tend to think of rather disturbing things that keep me awake. Although I don't tend to hear blood vessels moving around my brain o_o;
I guess should have made a mention to how I actually fall asleep. ^_^ My bad. Anywho. I like James, need a constant noise in the background, all the time, not just when I'm sleeping. I mentally cannot handle udder silence. Thus I ALWAYS have the radio on, of a fan, or a CD, of just the sounds of my constant typing. lol. I on the other hand ALWAYS have music on. (Though I don't right now, CD player on the computer is broken.) I guess I don't really think about blood vessels and what not, but I think alot. I tend to avoid silence, mainly because I am avoiding certain things.... *looks around* ... so yeah, but sleep. I always have noise in the background, be it music or just a fan. **Just to throw this out there. I enjoy rubbing guys heads who have the buzz cut, don't ask, I just like it. Then most of the guys that I do that to, they say they are about to pass out. Lol. One of my good friends has a buzz cut, and EVERY time I see him I rub his head. On another note, guys with "eye level" hair is always a plus, I love running my hands through it when the hair is clean. *smiles* Anywho. Tis about it from me. Tis the end of this note.**

I as well, am 100% Korean, though raised in the States all my life. I tend to be asked if I am Chinese as well, and that is kind of fun. Sleep... Well I guess I have been getting more of it since I have gotten out of school. Usually I just sleep for the fact being that I am thoroughly exhausted from doing many things during the day. Umm.... when I was in school, I would sleep an hour here or there, after being up the majority of the night, and go to school. After school I would come home and go to work, then I would stay up for a bit, sleep for and hour or two and do it all again. I guess it just depends on if I'm actually in the mood to sleep, because I tend to find other things to do instead of sleeping. I have a stack of guitar magazines by my bed, my book (On A Pale Horse), a notebook and pencil, and food. So I can always find something to do, even if I should be sleeping. Lately I have been writing poetry, and reading my book.

Oh what's this gonna hurt. Hi, I'm Cora. I'm 18, and have been addicted to caffiene for the last 10 years. I almost always have a pop, energy drink, or coffee in my hands, then if you are counting caffiene pills... once in a while... ya know all the cramming. Ha, but tis true.
