Yeah, it happens to me, too. >.> It's not a big deal, but my '# of Visits' isn't changing after people visit my site, so I don't know when to check back for comments. x.x;

When I first joined, I had come from this really, really spammy Dragonball Z forum, which was pretty near not moderated at all. So when I first joined, I made a kinda... sarcastic thread in the Dragonball forum. ^_^;;; (*gets frying pan and sits on search button* (wherever it is)) And I told TN it was my brother, ehheh. ^-^;; Anywho, my first bestest friend was Mist, when she PM'ed me and asked to be my buddy, who then introduced me to RPG'ing. That's where I met Boba, Lalaith, Kinetic, D_A, Krillen, and.... well, Scrat. After mucho technical difficulties, I got Yahoo Messenger downloaded on my compy so I could finally TALK to Mist/Evie!...and her iron rod. @.@ And from there I started talking to Phantom, Boba, Lalaith, and a few others. I joined the ES-Clan, though I was totally clueless on what I was supposed to do! xx; Then a little while after that, I got the guts to post my picture (ugh, that horrible, horrible picture xx), and TONS more following. A little while after that, I was 'married' to Lalaith, (*throws cookies at Tori and Piro for starting that evil trend not-purposely* >>) I started talking to Ken (DeathKnight) once I installed AIM. Since then, Kenna invited me to OB chats, and that's when I started to get to know more members from OB! Like a few of my best friends. (They know who they are xx) ...and that year, I won a few Otaku awards which I totally wasn't worthy of. xx;;; And right after meeting my first friend from online, Shy (Joshness), I was 'banned' from OB by family, for various reasons. But I'm still allowed to keep a myOtaku, and visit-not post on OB, and I'm totally loving the new skin! The features have been uber-fun to mess around with, too! (Keep up the moss-some work! ^-^) *ish such a dork*

1) The Lord of the Rings Trilogy: Now, I'm saying 'trilogy', because I know the third one's going to be awesome. Probably better than Two Towers, at least. It's all beautiful, the music, graphics, story... and the speed of it is perfect for my taste. Plus, the commradarie (sp?) between the cast and crew is really great. That really makes the commentaries much, much more fun to watch. And... LEGGYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! ^__________^ 2) Moulin Rouge!: I LOVE THIS MOVIE! Most of my favorite songs now are from the soundtrack, and their voices are amazing. I loved the set throughout the movie, and the costumes were really ellaborate. The story was really moving, especially the ending, and that scene with Satine and Zidler near the end. And it was great how it got so
suddenly sad just after the happiest
part in the movie. Just amazing. Nicole Kidman is really, really talented. 3) Pirates of the Caribbean: Well, starting off with the obvious, Johnny Depp's performance was awesome, and Orli looks soooooooooo frigging hot!! Keira Knightley was gorgeous, and I actually liked her better in Pirates than in 'Bend it Like Beckham'. The score was great, and it's just great how people didn't go in to see it with very high expectations, and came out pretty amazed. ^^ 4) Romeo + Juliet (1996): I saw this for the first time when I was six, and that was when I actually understood what was going on in 'Romeo and Juliet'. Everytime they'd do a play, first of all, I couldn't understand a word, second, I would always just giggle at the funny costumes. But I really liked the way Baz Luhrman turned it into something more modern-ish so the audience now could understand it a little better. 5) The Four Feathers: Eeeeeee.... What can I say? I'm probably the only one at my school who watched this, but it was great! I had only gone to see it, since so many people I knew were totally in love with Heath Ledger. I completely forgot about that while I was watching this. (Might've been because of that beard...) But it was really great, and it finally makes sense after having countless book reports on it that didn't make sense! And I'm really interested in the Middle East right now, so it was pretty interesting watching a movie about that time. 6) Chicago: Cathrine Zeta Jones rocks!! ^___^ By then, I had seen Moulin Rouge a dozen times, and feel completely in love with movie-musicals, since I love singing those types of songs all the time. I love all the songs in this movie, especially the Cell Block Tango. Plus, I'm singing 'All That Jazz' for my audition for 'Guys and Dolls'! ^^ 7) Tie: Rat Race: Best comedy ever! -...At least, that's what I think. I loooooooooved every scene, though some of my friends have said it's corny and none of those would ever have a chance of happening in real life. That's why I like it. It's corny in some bits, but it's the corny-ness that's funny. The main reason I went to see it was my favorite cousin recommended it to me, and he loves Rowan Atkinson.... probably more than I do. Bend it Like Beckham: Keira Knightley and... Padim-.... Parminder Nagra!!! ^_____^;;; It was hilarious, and all my friends I dragged it to loved it as well! And I know this sounds dumb, but it also insipired me to join a soccer team again. It's a really great feel-good movie, and it's really funny. Plus, Johnanthan Rhys-Davies is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8) Love Actually: I was so not expecting this to be on my top ten list at all, but when I saw it, it was really great! Especially with that great cast, how can it not be? Now, the only problem was getting my mom to go. It's rated 'R', so she wanted to screen it first. But eventually, I showed her the trailer, and poster. She agreed, and we took my dad with us. Very funny movie, though quite alot of those people on the poster had such small roles, they could be counted as cameos. 9) Tie: Air Bud: Okay... it's probably because I got it at a time when I loooooooooved dogs. Everything I had for school had some dog on it, and everytime my friends came over, we'd sit down and watch 'Air Bud'. But it's a really good family movie, or if you're babysitting. I mainly like it because there's alot of memories that go along with it everytime I watch it for me. It was at a time when I had my puppy Bruno, my original one turtle, and I was just living with my mom. Really great times, and I miss them. ^^; Cats Don't Dance: Same time as 'Air Bud'. Since I was home alone alot, I'd just keep this movie playing over and over, since our VCR would rewind and play automatically. And it's probably because of this movie I really started liking singing. ^ .^;;; Plus, Johnathan Rhys-Davies is in it as Wooly. ^^ 10) Titanic: I was six at the time, and it was the only PG-13 movie I fell asleep in. I remember really liking Celine Dion after seeing this, and quite a few people in class were actually talking about it. But it's really moving, and the history of it is pretty neat. Beautiful movie. ^_^

2004 Re-Elections [a.k.a. Is Bush a Good President?]
Juu replied to eleanor's topic in General Discussion
I consider myself a democrat, but Howard Dean isn't exactly #1 on my list, either. However, I don't support Bush whatsoever. There's more people dying in Iraq now than during the war, and more and more people in Iraq are starting to believe they were better off with Saddam. Plus, it's not really a surprise they're opposing. I'm sure any other countries people would fight back if someone just marched into their country. And even though the troops have helped improve schools and such, it doesn't seem like they're getting as much respect. I keep seeing people getting shoved to the ground aggressively with a gun pointed at their necks for questioning, and you wonder 'why are they trying to kill us?'. - .-;;;; But it does seem stupid how alot of people are saying Bush is stupid when they don't even watch the news at all. I've even had someone say 'Bush is stupid because he didn't catch Saddam bin Laden'. However, the whole 'war against terrorism' seems really stupid to me. First of all, it's like they're saying that the Middle East is the only place where terrorists come from. And what's worse? I was watching the news the other day, and right after talking about the improvements in Iraq, they said '...although the Bush admininstration has confirmed the attacks on 9/11 were not from Iraq. Moving on to sports...'. - .-;;;;;; So about 70% of the people I know/heard talking on the street still think the attacks on 9/11 had to do with Iraq. -
My most embarrising moment I can remember would have to be during the Christmas performance, three other girls and I had to sing the opening scene. We were all supposed to burst out singing 'We've got to-' in the second round of piano. After the first round, I practically screamed that verse, and my voice cracked like, really bad. It sounded as if I was choking, or something. But my friends all backed me up and cracked their voices as well when it was actually the time to start singing. But my face was pretty pink by the time we had out pictures taken, though. ^-^;

I absolutely loved my Barbies, lol. I had a western one and a fairy one, and I played with them all the time. :sweat: Only, now the western one's head is missing, and the fairy one's clothes are missing, and both of their hands are messed up because of Bruno.... And I actually made up stories with all the 'cast' of toys I got from McDonalds', and I'd make little caves with folds and wrinkles in my blanket. ^_^;;;;;;;

Cable-less Person Speaking: Well, at least it was Nirvana. But I would've expected it to be, since 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' was #1 for one of VH1's Top '50'-or so countdowns. But as far as 'of all time' goes, I'd have to agree Linkin Park shouldn't be that high up.
-
Dude. Both of them are amazing! o_o; I love the little writing-ish thingies on the left, and the 'Flip Side' on the right. And I can't decide which one of the two are better, either. 1 & 2: 10/10.
Originally posted by Vegitto4 If you could control life, then nothing would be fun, and everything would be boring. I mean, sure, some of us wonder what it would be like to be able to do all of that. Nothing would surprise you, everything could be expected............just like the movies. It might eb fun for the first few months, but after that, there would be nothing else left to do. You would have expierenced everything you wanted to. It's like The Matrix in a way....a strange....pseudo-sadistical sort of way.
That's pretty much the same way I feel. Besides, you can control your own life. It all just depends on the choices you make through it, and how you see your life. Besides, if you controlled your life, what lessons would you learn? I think everything happens for a reason, and life's all about lessons. Though you may not realize it, you're learning new things everyday, whether it be about life, school, friends, anything. That's what I think is so great about life. ^_^; And er, I'm also big on fate, but that'd be Paris's fault. *points to Imladris*

I'm not sure if it's quite a 'custom', but my family usually has rice once everyday. I got sick of it for a while, but now that my dad's cooking, instead of the lady that used to cook for us.... I'm happy to eat rice again. ^_^;;;; And, we try our best to speak in both English and Korean. My dad speaks to me in Korean at home, so I won't forget, and I speak in English to my mom over the phone, since she's going to English class. (Which I really think doesn't have to go to... - .-')

*digs* I'm going to be Satine from Moulin Rouge, only in pants instead of a corset. :sweat: The only things I have left to buy is light pink eyeliner, and I'm just going to borry the lipstick and white foundation from one of my friends. ^_^;

What am I looking forward to? One word: Legolas!!!!! .... .... Okay, and I'd really like to see the
weddings
, and the Battle of Pelannor Fields, and Shaelob, and...*trails off* Overall, this movie looks amazing. A few of my friends and I went to see 'Secondhand Lions', partially just to see the 'Lord of the Rings' trailer. Everything looks spectacular, and I can't wait! I'm dragging my dad over to the movies at about 6:00 on December 16th to buy tickets and wait in line. ^-^;'

My mommy's like a best friend to me. We can talk about anything, and I'm never, ever embarrised to be with her. I always miss her tons, since she lives about 1200 miles away. But we call each other at least twice a day, and it's always great talking to her. ^_^ My daddy's really understanding. There are times when he just blows up, but otherwise, we can talk about anything. He's always letting me rant and vent if some issue comes up at school, and listens really well. He's a bit less protective than my mom, and that can be good. However, since they separated, he's been a teeny bit more worried, since he doesn't want my mom getting worried 1200 miles away. My cousin Emerson's really awesome. He's been one of my best friends since I was like, three or four. Since the first day, he's been like my role model, and has had a huge influence in my interests. He's smart, funny, and just really fun to be around. I love it when I go over to his house, or even get an e-mail from him. He lives pretty closeby, now, but now that my parents are divorced, it's a bit more complicated to see him. = /

It was really funny. ^_^; Somewhat better than the second one, but the first one's still my favorite. That part where
the Eminem-ish guy threw on his hood that turned out to be shaped like the K.K.K. ones,
was pretty funny. That's one of the main parts I remember. Oooh, and the
part with Michael Jackson was hilarious, too.
Yeah, and this one's much 'cleaner' than the other two, but I kept forgetting it was PG-13...
-
*shudder* I never, ever liked them. I'm just not muchova alternative fan, and their voices just... *twitch* But they're not exactly horrible, either. I remember getting 'It's Been a While' stuck in my head for a while, along with a few other classmates. ..;

'The Nightmare Before Christmas' was such a kewl movie. I saw it for the first time in daycare in the second grade on Halloween, and I was so freaked out, because this guy dressed up as Jack came to our house trick-or-treating that night. >>; But when I see a picture of Jack, I keep thinking of 'Edward Scissorhands'. oo;

Well, both of their jobs depend on each other, considering celebrities need media in order to be celebrities, and the paparazzi need stories and photos in order to sell their stories and photos. And though it's probably really annoying having people follow you everywhere, and take billions of pictures a day... celebrities need that media, good or bad, for more publicity. But then, alot of the paparazzi really should consider their limits, and respect the stars' private lives too. But either way, as long as the Orli pics and stories don't stop, Juu's happy. ^_^

Well, BabyGirl and Mist were taken, so I ended up using my middle name instead. ^ ...^;;;

Blah, I always have to change my font color to pink, even when I'm in a huge hurry, and someone's fussing at me to get offline! I'm not sure why, but it feels like I just have to, otherwise it just feels... weird. oo; Also, I have to have the OtakuBoards as one of my windows on, or it feels weird browsing on the internet. xx;
Originally posted by Celia Right now, I am around 5'4- 5'6, and I weigh about 105. I am trying to lose weight, but I just can't stop putting things in my mouth! I am watching what I eat now because I can feel that I am not as active and I just have to have food in my mouth in whatever I do. Juu probably knows how I am in movies. I have to buy something to eat during a movie... Last time, I finished a super- size popcorn during the movie! People say that I am not fat, but if you actually see my stomach.. Argh! You would change your mind about me.
That's because you're not fat!
