Tofu! ^________^ It's soooo frigging good! Especially the Korean kind. I tried some American brands, and they were really nasty. Same with soy milk. The Korean/Japanese ones were really sweet, but the other kinds tasted really... thick, and weird. Anywho, I'll eat just about anything that's not seafood, or greasy. I'm starting to dislike fries, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, and pork, too. Bleck.

Juu rolled her eyes, and stalked off to the closet. Butch leaped at Luyii's lap, letting out muffled barks with its leash dangling from his jaws. Luyii shook the leash from its mouth vigorously, as he tugged back playfully. Suddenly, he paused, ears twitching and tail wagging. Juu also stopped, holding the bag of dog food awkwardly over her shoulder. Her elder sister's lips curved to a smirk as the dog dropped the leash, and charged. Before she could scream, he hurtled into the air, pouncing on Juu like a cat on a mouse. Butch grasped a corner of the bag in his teeth, tromping off with triumph. Laughing, Luyii bent down and helped her to her feet. Juu groaned and glared, dusting herself off. Then, she whipped the leash at her sister's stomach. "There. You walk." Juu mumbled, filling the bowl with water and leaving it at the corner. "You're not done feeding it." Luyii noted, tapping a finger at Butch. "I'll feed it once you get back." "Fine." She grabbed the leash, and called Butch over, who was gnawing at the bag pleasently. Sitting down surprisingly obediantly, Luyii fastened the leash, and bolted out the door. Finally, Juu picked up the bag, sliced open the top with her blade, and filled up the bowl. Then she sat it down next to the water, and collapsed on the sofa, still smelling like dog. There, she let out a sigh, folding her arms behind her head. It seemed strangely darker outside than usual. Getting to her feet, she walked over to the window, and looked up at the sky. The clouds were slightly grey and blue, huddled closely together. She returned to the couch, grinning quietly.

when do you guy go back to the hellhole aka school?
Juu replied to darkside's topic in General Discussion
I'm actually glad to be going back to school. All I've done this summer is the summer program, visit Celia a few times, read tons and tons of scripts, and get a poofier face. - .-; Besides, I'm really looking forward to seeing friends again, and going to classes. Especially Drama. The only part I'm worried about is getting totally different classes than my best friends. Umm... I'm actually not sure, but I'm guessing we go back the 25th. We haven't recieved our letters yet, so we're all just planning to go back then. But we didn't get school supply lists either, so I'm guessing it'll be alot like last year, where the teachers just tell us what we'll be needing. And, I'll be going on vacation until the 21st, so I'm praying school's not starting the 20th. First impressions are very important with teachers. *nods* *pokes Celia* x.x; -
Originally posted by maladjusted :toothy: And then there's this food called kim-chee.
*blink* :wow: Omigosh! Most of my friends have no idea what kimchi is, and they're Asian/Love Chinese/Korean food! x.x; I just absolutely love rice now, though I've had it at least once a day my whole life. Other than that, probably plain milk chocolate, pasta, french bread, almost any brand of cookie, and strawberries! x.x; The tubed Flamin' Hot Cheetoes are good, too, but they make my face soooo poofy overnight. Edit: ...O...M...G... HOW did I forget marshmellows!?!?! OO Yes, marshmellows. Marshmellows are the best. :shifty:;

My worst teacher ever would have to be Ms. Cockburn. She had no idea at all what she was teaching, and never really taught us anything. Basically, all she did was give us activites she thought was fun, when we were all just getting bored to death. And she kept going on about how some of us were terrible students, when she was just in another one of her bad moods. - ...-; The worst sub... probably Ms. Tweeny. (Twenni... *doesn't remember*) Anyway, she really didn't make much sense. It'd be like, "Can I have a drink of water?" And she'd say yes, and I'd go get a drink. When I got back, she'd say, "Where did you go?" and I'd just reply I went to get a drink. And she'd yell at me and say she said yes to me washing my hands... or something. Not to mention, she had a really funny voice, and she'd stress us for writing it correctly. >>;;
Originally posted by Manic I'm currently studying radio and TV broadcasting, but I really want to be a voice actor. Acting is my dream, and if I can't do that, I want a career to fall back on that will still allow me to be in the entertainment business.
*high-fives* That's pretty much my dream. Though, it's not like I'm going to just go to auditions 24/7. I want to go to law school after college, and become a lawyer. My parents seem to think I'd make a good lawyer. But I really want to take theater/go to acting school between cases, since I'm really fascinated by theater, and acting. *plops stack of scripts on desk* x.x;
Originally posted by Celia When we still had school, I was hoping it to end early. But now, I found out that it's boring staying at home.
Yeah... but now that there's just twenty days left, the summer seems to be going by faster now. oo;; I'm actually really excited to go back to school. This year, I'm going to the seventh grade, and everyone's told me it's the easier year in middle school. The part I'm really excited about is meeting friends again, and having drama for a whole semester, rather than a fourth. One of my main concerns, however, is what if my friends and I don't have any of the same classes? I really hope I can have at least one same class as Celia, since she's my best friend. ...And hopefully, they'll be basing it on GPA's, this time...

Gah... This is just as lame as the whole McDonalds'/Oreo issue. - .-; I mean, I don't even care what they call them, just as long as you know where they are. oO; *hands Wrist Cutter a cookie*

250free.com's pretty good, too. ^^; I use that for hosting now. It gives you alot of space, and all you need to do is register with an e-mail address other than MSN. Just go to mail.com for an alternative mail account. I'm not sure whether or not Yahoo e-mails work for it, though. And Geocities really isn't the best place to host...

Name: Tsri Talaris Age: 27 Race: Human Occupation: Jedi Weapon: Purple Bladed Lightsaber Ship: -none- Bio: Ever since she can remember, Tsri always feared her dreams. Sleeping at night would be her most difficult task, for her dreams would always be nightmares of people dying and suffering. Ear-splitting screams and brutal deaths would play constantly in her mind, even after she awoke, sudden flashes of her dreams would appear. Her mentor would constantly wake her up at night, to find her sobbing or shivering. Because of her visions, Tsri prefers not to speak to anyone else, because everyone she sees, she has visions of dying. A few times, the people she had seen from her dreams died the following week, or suffered the exact way she had seen them. Therefore, her master gave her a device to record her dreams, so they could interpret them once she awoke. Recently, most of her visions were of people residing in the planet of Dorvalla, but as always, all she could see of the murduers was a shadow. Description: Tsri has medium-short, straight, layered ice-blue hair, that starts at her eyes, and layers after every inch. She prefers to wear a black jumpsuit, with a black, hooded robe over it. Her eyes are usually the same color as her hair, but tend to shift colors depending on her mood. At a height of 5'6 and thin build, she's not very strong, but very fast, and can continue fighting for a long period of time. Personality: Tsri tends to be quiet, and is somewhat shy. She avoids contact with other people, and keeps to herself.

I really think Keira Knightley looks alot like Natalie Portman. If you just make her eyebrows thinner and take away the eyeshadow... *poof*! And here's an interesting fact. Keira Knightley played Queen Amidala's (played by Natalie Portman) decoy in 'Star Wars: Episode I'. And according to Yahoo!, alot of fans deny that...

My summer was pretty boring, but it wasn't so bad. ^_^; My dad signed me up to a summer school-ish program, without telling me, just because he didn't want me staying home all summer. It was a pretty fun place, and everyone was really nice. The funny thing was, everyone in my class was three years older than me, yet I ended up teaching them pre-calculus when they complained our math teacher didn't make any sense. The last day was the best, since we got to have all these snacks. ^^; Other than that, I went to Anime Expo to meet Shy, Las Vegas with some relatives (which was horrible), went to Marine World with my cousin, the movies, Metreon with Celia, and met Tori (Queen Asuka) at this Ice Cream place yesterday. ^_^ On days I stayed home and didn't come to my dad's office, I just read a bunch of scripts from Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge, and Pirates of the Carribean. Juu sighed happily, and didn't let go until a woman entered, the clicking of her heels breaking the silence. She glanced back up at Dria, who looked even more radiant with her smile. It felt great to see her smiling again. After all, ever since they began working for Genocide, it was rare any of them smiled very often. Dria picked up her purse and headed out towards the door. Juu followed suit, tripping once again out the door. She fixed a soft smirk on her face, avoiding contact with the guards, making her way back to the consession stand to pick up more drinks. Muttering, Juu took another glass of champane from her sister, sipping it slowly while shooting a glare at Ri. "How does Luyii put up with that guy?" Juu asked, talking through her teeth in a wide grin. Dria cocked an eyebrow, and sipped her drink. Her eyes remained fixed on the office door, taking occasional glimpses back at Juu and the guards. Meanwhile, Juu browsed around the concession stand, sampling various odd-looking foods from the table. That was the only other thing to do. She usually loathed coming to formal parties anyway. After selecting a few favorites, she offered them to Ri, who smiled, and picked a chocolate-coated cherry. Just as she bit it off, her eyes lingered towards the other half of the room, where five or six guards were huddled together in a trong, two studying her with pleasure. Dria fingered her 9mm, smiling back casually at the two. Juu instantly grabbed her wrist, and turned around, tugging it once and shoving her drink in her palm.

*thinks* I've had... seven turtles, nine-eleven kittens, two cats, one puppy, and two (ended up with about thirty) rats. When I was born, my parents caught me two baby turtles from this river in Korea. We kept them in this huge bowl at home, and I kept them for three years until we had to move to the US. Then I started over with one turtle when I was six, and named it Turdy. It kept growing at the size of my palm, and it was a red-eared turtle, just like my previous ones. Then my parents' friends' daughter gave me their old turtle, which was older, but smaller than my turtle, since their baby kept trying to drop it. After just keeping them for a few years, I went fishing, and I netted two baby turtles in a summer. Then, in a parking lot, I found this dried up thing, and took it home to see if it was alive. It looked so gross, and smelled so bad, I could've sworn it had been dead for a while. But it was alive, and I put it in the tank with the others, and fed it. So that's the story about my turtles. All of the nine-eleven kittens and two cats were strays I took in, though I never had more than three kittens at once. You see, there was this calico cat, and she kept having half calico-half persian kittens on our porch, and left them. Since they kept 'crying' all night, I fed them milk and egg yolk, and eventually took them in. Then I started feeding them tuna, and giving them baths. After keeping them for about a month, I'd let them go again, and I'd see them a few months later on that same porch. And the two cats just appeared one day by the stairs, and followed me everywhere. My mom loved the calico and tabby, so she let me keep them for two months. ^_^ And Bruno, my puppy, was my absolute favorite. I got to keep him for a year, after my dad brought him home as a surprise from Galveston to Dallas. He was SO cute. Everytime someone came over, he'd start jumping up and down, and tackle them with kisses each time, though he'd freak out all the younger kids, since he was black, tan, and white. (Think Lady M's dog, only... Chibi). Though, the owners asked for him back, because Bruno's mom kept howling all year after we took him away. I cried, since I never got to say goodbye to him. When they returned him, I was in Korea, on vacation, and I had bought all this stuff to bring back to him. = / Er... and the rats my dad just brought from his office. It was a girl and boy, so in a week, we found about nine babies sleeping in the cage. I got to hold one, but my dad got bit each time he took one out. When we had three cage-fulls, we released them by the golf course. Soo... if you ever see a bunch of mice in Richison, Texas... It's only half my fault. x.x;
Originally posted by Altron Gundam As per with the topic, snowboarding bar none. Its more fun, and I don't need little sticks to push me in the right direction.
I don't use the 'little sticks to push me in the right direction'. I can do that without the poles, and like Raiha said, they're for pushing you while you're flat. Besides, it's not really the best idea to steer with the poles anyway. I really don't see a reason snowboarders and skiiers should dislike each other. It sounds pretty lame, if you ask me. - .-;

*huggles ya* Just keep in mind, we'll always be here for you when you decide to come back, okies? You're doing great, and I really look up to you now more than ever. And I wish you the best. Your son's watching you now, and I bet he's so proud of you for everything.

*huggles the topic* Boys: Orlando: (;p) Mkay, not only do I love this name because of the actor, but I've always liked it since one of my classmates in the first grade was named 'Orlando'. It just rolls off your tongue, and I like saying 'Orli'. Such a cute name, and it kinda reflects their personality somehow. ^^; Justin: My first boyfriend from the second grade. All the boys named Justin tend to look nice, too. oo; Jaron: Also a nifty name. I first heard it when I moved to San Francisco, actually. Until then, I only knew a 'Jared', but when I first heard the name 'Jaron', I absolutely loved it. Girls: Ashlee: eee! I love this name SO much! It's so cute, and this is my favorite spelling for it. I first saw it spelled this way when I began talking to Rain. Such a great name. *huggles* Demi: It's short, and simple. Not to mention, it can also work as a Korean name. But I love how it's simple and pretty, and the actress is pretty, too. Satine: Also from Moulin Rouge, played by my favorite actress. It's so pretty, and Ilove how it plays on the word 'Satin'. Maybe I should name my daughter 'Satine'... Though, I'm not sure if she'll like the fact I named her after a courtesan... :shifty:; Celia: Such a kewl name. It sounds really kewl, and I like it somewhat better than 'Cecilia'. Not to mention, it's my cousin's name. ^_^ ----- Edit: Ack! I can't believe I forgot these. ^^;; Celestine (girl) Rele・(girl) Laitina (girl) Kimberly (girl) Isis/Iris (girl) Keira (girl) Lalaith Darrel (guy) Johnny (guy) Tony (guy)

er... I played on my friend's drumset for six weeks! ^^;; (Don't know if that counts, though...) Anyway, it was really fun, but I found it a litty bit harder than I thought. The part I found hardest was pressing the base over and over with my foot. I don't know how my friends can actually do that real fast for a long time. My foot gets tired after doing it for like, three minutes, even. x.x; The best part was watching and listening to them play, though. They can play along to almost all my mp3's, even the ones without drums actually playing in the songs. ^^;;

neee... *actually feels like falling* x.x; That was really kewl. During the whole thing, I kept imagining this pidgeon fluttering down these spiral stairs, with this white, red, and black scheme. Great. ^^ 8.5/10.

Writing did anyone read the Hatchet series by Gary Paulsen
Originally posted by Mist I've only read Hatchet too. It was an okay book. It was pretty good. Though that part about the
pilot's skull just drifting up with some of the flesh chewed/rotted off
just totally freaked me out. But I really don't think I would've read it if they didn't assign it for reading class last-last-last year. -
Wow... that's really beautiful. ^^ You're a really great artist, Sara, and I really love how so much feeling comes from that picture. And she sorta resembles you, too. o.o *hands you a biiiiiiig cookie* 11/10.

*high-fives* I went to Heavenly all fall and winter last year! ^^ Though, everytime I went there, there was an equal amount of snowboarders and skiiers, and I was there every week for at least three days. Not to mention, they were just fine with each other. Everyone seemed to be just fine, and there were actually more snowboarders last time. But I didn't feel any tention going on. Since the place was so packed near food courts, everyone had to share tables. There were plenty of skiiers with snowboarders they never even met, and they all seemed to be fine with each other. ...But maybe it was just me, but, I never really felt any tention in Heavenly or Steamboat, Colorado...

Hmm... Actually, I've never really seen much tension between them at all. oO; I do both, though some of my friends only snowboard or ski. And they get along just fine. Even when I go to ski resorts, they never really seem to mind. In fact, I've only seen snowboarders and skiiers argue/dislike each other in movies and TV shows. Never in real life, yet, actually. :sweat:
