1. Just before she arrived, Anorel slipped the crystal into a leather pouch, which had been burning in her palms. Once the crystal touched the bottom, the pouch grew noticably heavier. Ignoring the sudden change, she continued towards the building of her Val'Shagress. Once inside, Anorel made her way through corridors and steps, until she finally reached the floor of the Val'Shagress' private quarters. She tapped the door with her claws, before knocking lightly with her knuckles. No answer. Feeling slightly nervous, she tried the handle, which had obviously been polished minutes before. Then she walked inside, and placed pulled the pouch from her belt. Anorel opened the bag with her nails delicately, smiling cooly as she checked the present for Vonduex. The crystal was still there, but it was larger... and glowing a bright red from the inside. The crystal exploded, sending grains of ash on the carpet, most remaining in the pouch. From the bag, the ash started to glow red just as the crystal had, and from it, appeared a small chick, no larger than a human child's fist. However, it seemed to growl rather then 'peep', as most birds did at that stage. After brief moments of bustling around, the chick popped out of the pouch, and onto the floor. Anorel grinned, and bent down towards the chick. Crouching down, she extended a finger towards its head, patting its head softly. Suddenly, the chick leaped towards her finger, snapping fiercely until it drew blood. Soon it withdrew, licking its teeth savagely. Awesruck, she pulled her finger back as well, wiping the the blood from the wound with her thumb. The chick's growling intensed, now starting to hiss back at her. Its beak was lined with two rows of fangs, much like those of a shark's. The eyes glowed red, as it glared. All of a sudden, the chick's eyes swelled and bulged, as the same red light glowed from inside, so its bones and insides were visible through its flesh. Like magma from a volcano, a fiery phoenix erupted from the chick, Unwrapping its wings magnificantly. It shook its head slowly, and inhaled. Suddenly, it let out a boisterous cry, shaking the room intensly, before making its way to the window and gliding out towards the city below. Several sevants arrived in the room, showing her out and cleaning the mess suspiciously. Once the servants were out of sight, she hurried down the stairs, until she finally reached the gates of which she had entered, taking flight after the phoenix.
  2. I get tons of 'old' songs stuck in my head, though they're not really considered 'old', since they're all pretty much from the early 90's. :bluesweat

Don't Wanna Miss a Thing: Aerosmith
Erotic: Madonna
Can You Fell the Love Tonight: Elton John
Anything by the Spice Girls
My Heart Will Go On: Celine Dion
Don't Speak: No Doubt
Angels Crying: ?
Ava Adore: Smashing Pumpkins
Save Tonight: Eagle Eye Cherry
Time After Time: Cyndi Lauper
...And more, but my mind's asleep. >>;
  3.  I 'discovered' the internet when I was about five or six. ^_^; My dad had a much bigger office in Missouri, and I got to use one of the computers. He introduced me to 'Yahoo.com', and I started browsing my favorite PBS shows for about two years, before starting to browse through my favorite singers' sites, and printing out all sorts of piccies of the Spice Girls. ^ .^; Then when I was about eight or nine, I found TheOtaku.com, when someone got banned for advertising the site at a Dragonball Z forum. Later, I started going to TheOtaku's chat, and after a year of going, I became an Op there, and had to visit more constantly. Last year I finally realized the little button that said 'forum', which I hadn't noticed for a few years, even after going to TheOtaku everyday. Without really browsing first, I just registered. After about two hundred spam posts, I finally got somewhat used to the rules, and started RP'ing with one of my best friends, Mist. ^_^ *sits by 'Search' button with giant cookies and fry pan* :shifty:;
  4. Lights of houses went out, one by one as the blanket of blue above dimmed slowly into a veil of starlit black. Anorel sat silently atop the clocktower's canopy, wrapped inside her wings, knees to her chest. Her chin lay between her knees, as she sighed with content. Slowly, she ran her tongue against her teeth tasting the last bits of flesh from the other night. She hadn't eaten since then, and she felt a lingering crave inside her mind for human flesh. But it wasn't safe for her to eat one of them just yet. It would be at least another month until the next full moon after all. Besides, if she was that hungry, there was bound to be a dead squirrel nearby. Just then, an ear-splitting 'GONG' boomed through her ears, as the clock struck ten, still vibrating beneath her. She clapsed her hands over her ears, shooting a glare at the clock. Once the fourth gong ended, she wrapped her arms around her legs again, and stared back down towards the village. Then after a moment of thought, Anorel spread her wings, and darted down towards the city, when all but two houses had gone to bed. From there, she hovered slightly off the ground, pacing back and forth through streets. Up ahead, she could see a girl, practically a woman by appearance. Anorel halted immediately, and froze. The woman was clearly sobbing by the bay, holding an object with a metallic luster at her right, which was clearly a knife. Cupping her own mouth, she thrust the knife into her heart, and disappeared before touching the bay water. A tiny white light sparked before hitting the water, as a timid 'plop' was heard, like a pebble dropping in a pool. Anorel dived after it immediately, grabbing it with her palm before it slipped away though her fingers. Then she pushed herself farter with her wings, grabbing it with both hands now, and kicking herself vigorously to the surface. With a thundering splash, she shot back into the sky, opening her palm to observe the object more carefully. It was a crystal, about the size of an eye. The woman had changed into this the moment she died. A perfect souvenir for Vondeux... Just as approaching footsteps could be heard down the street, Anorel began back towards the clocktower, feeling quite pleased by the cloak of darkness...

    spy kids 3

     Er... I'm probably not going to see that, even though it's in 3D. Not to mention, I never really liked 'Spy Kids' very much. Not quite the kind of movie genre I'm really into. ^^; Besides, there's plenty of movies coming out this summer to keep me busy, and a record to break with 'Pirates of the Carribean'! ^ .^~!

    Friends

     Wow! ^^ I like it alot! It's pretty original. I don't think I've seen someone else make a banner like that before... And since you actually spent the time digging up our avis and putting them all there. *huggles ya* ^ .^
  7. Oh gosh, if she didn't want to get fat off burgers, why did she even go to McDonald's in the first place? All it takes is some common sense. It's like the same thing as the Oreo-issue. >>;; It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Hamburgers contain fat. If you don't want to get fat, don't eat too much stuff that contains fat. *nods* *hops off*
  8. *fwaps Ryan with giant marshmellows for taking the 'White Elf' slot* :p Name: Anorel Destrè Species: Dragouret Age: 214 Rank: Assassin Appearance: Anorel has twilight blue skin, and ebony black wings. Her long silver hair stops about half an inch down her neck, with loose-cut bangs that hang over her eyes. She has a bit less muscular build as most dragourets, with a torn leather tunic and skirt-like bottom, that stops around mid-thigh. Her eyes tend to change color depending on the moon. At full moon, her eyes glow gold, while during halves and quarters, they shift to red or emerald. Weapon: Iron Javelin Bio: Anorel's assassination techniques revolve around speed and offensive skill, rather than defensive. She prefers to get the kill over with quickly, in case they notice and fight back. When fought against, Anorel can't stand her ground for long. She tires quickly, but beats her victims brutely, before finishing them with her javelin. She prefers to be anti-social, and doesn't trust anyone other than Val Shagress, even the others serving her. Also, during full moons, she tends to lick the blood of her victims, or anything recently killed.

    Linkin Park - Meteora

     I promised I'd buy it the first week, but I still don't have it! Lately, I've been listening to my friend's Meteora, and it's great! I think my favorite track was track 11. Not quite sure if that's right, though... Linkin Park's a really good band. I especially love how rock kinda mixes with rap, along with really nice instrumentals. Not to mention, I love the album names. ^^;
  10. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! ^_________________^ *huggles it* *drags it off to corner* Thanks SO much! If only it was a little bigger... then I could set it as wallpaper. ^-^ *goes browsing for Will Turner piccies*
  11.  I had a dream where Celia, Deedlit, Lauren, and me all got to meet Orlando Bloom at Disneyland. We all just tackled him with hugs and kisses, and then the setting switched to the forest, and we were hugging Legolas. Then it switched to Heavenly Ski Resort, where Orlando Bloom was snowboarding, and we were 'attatched' to him while he was boarding down a slope. Then it switched to this ship, and we were hugging Will Turner, (From the previews then), and Deedlit kept shoving Keira Knightly's character aside. >>; I don't remember too much after that. We just kept switching faster and faster to weird locations. It was a nice dream, though. ^^ Also, I had a dream where my dad and I were skygliding above the Bay Area. We land on this beach, and I tell my dad "Let's skyglide over to San Antonio!". He agrees, and we both (somehow) skyglide over to San Antonio. We land at this carnival, and then I tell my dad, "Let's go to Ken's house!", and then we skyglide over to Ken's house. Then I see Ken waving at his front porch, and we land. oo;
  12. The room was now lit with golden flames, as the luster of the gems glittered against her palms. Her eyes were closed dreamily, chin up high, with her lower jaw slightly open. Though her back sat erect, her face seemed relaxed as she hovered her palm slowly over the stones, as if stroking an invisible cat. The light dotted upon her palm, like constellations. Distant sounds of hurried footsteps echoed in her mind, along with visions of faces. Then it quickly shifted to a violent scene. Men with torches and knives stampeded into the village, quickly recognized as her own. They tossed the touches over the fence, breaking through the flames, and thrusting knives and harpoons at the bewildered villagers. Women wailed as they held their children close, only to be attacked by the armored men. Now she could see herself in the vision. She was hurrying through the tents nearby, stopping dramatically as each caught on fire and corpses burned at the flame's wrath. Villagers collaped around her like logs. Just before she could run, a hand grabbed her shoulder. Then the room quickly shifted to a dark blue, lit only by the flames of her candles. A silhouette of a woman sat on her bed, just so her smile could be seen from the flames. "Well, you haven't changed much." The woman spoke, a slight chuckle in her voice. Relee paused, a sudden ghostly chill biting at her spine. "...Mara?" Relee managed to say. The woman's smile widened. Relee stared in disbelief. "I'm sorry." Relee spoke quietly, unable to stare into her eyes. "We failed you. I failed you..." Mara's smile softened. "You shouldn't be. Don't worry, I'll always be here to protectcha, okay?" Mara said, smile still visible. Relee smiled. "I'll never forget you, Mar-" She disappeared. Relee huddled up between the candles, holding her knees to her chest. The room felt so empty now. The world felt silent. She had lost her best friend. She opened her eyes, finally coming back to reality. Quickly, she began to pack. First, she placed each vial in the same bag she had carried before, inserting each vial into its own pocket. Then she placed her dagger, then her bowl and motar. After that, she packed a small bag of herbs. As she placed the beg into position, she heard a timid 'clink' at the bottom of her bag. Relee reached her hand into the bag, and pulled out a chain, with a red stone dangling from it. There, she found a small note, crumpled up with age. Yours truly, Mara.
  13. Ehheh. oo;; Yeah, I do believe my poem was the weakest. My vote goes to Deedlit, because I just really loved the style of her poem. And I really liked those last sentences in each of the stanzas, too. ^_^
  14.
Originally posted by Arkadyz Well Terpischore sorry but I was correct...Disney has just inked a deal for a sequel to Pirates and thankfully they have gotten all of the cast and crew from this one to sign up for the sequel...YAY :D Heres hoping that the next one is just as good as this last one :p
eeeeeeeeee! Really!? I just hope
Will and Elizabeth don't have a child
in the next movie, like 'The Mummy Returns', or anything. But I'm really anxious to see a sequel if it comes out! That means more Orli and Johnny Depp as pirates. ^ .^
Originally posted by terra Anyway, he didn't do it for me in Pirates. I mean, his awesome swordsmanship and cool attitude were appealing, but the excessive eye makeup (although very good for his character) kind of bothered me.
Really? I actually really liked the way they did his eyes. Eyeliner's always great. Not to mention the long hair. Long hair on guys is always great. ^-^;
  15.  Currently, my favorite thread would have to be the 'Your OB Crush' thread also. ^_^; (Logan makes such interesting threads...) It's really fun and interesting, kinda like browsing through one of those Yearbook threads where people talk about their favorite colors, old OB usernames, and other fun info like that. ^^ Though, it is a little annoying when people just say 'I like nobody' in their posts, since it is a thread about your 'OB Crush' and all... And basically, I really don't like depression threads, or anything about boyfriends and girlfriends. I'm sure it's a good thing to do, to get advice from a community you really trust, but it does get annoying when you start seeing hundreds of them just popping up. x.x;
  16.  *nods* Heaven would be nice, you know, since you get to be with your family and frends again after you die. Though, I also am leaning a bit more towards reincarnation. I always imagine it as something like, once you close your eyes for the last time, you open them again, just like you did at first when you were a baby. Kinda like, when you first open your eyes, the soul has actually been returned or something... oo; Anyway, people have asked why you don't remember anything from your past life if you're born again. Well, according to this book, you drink from a gourd, that makes you lose your memory, and your soul leaves in this trace-like state. Though, I'm not Buddhist or Hindu. ^^;
  17. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! ^ .^ I actually like our current one the best, so my vote goes to the first one. ^^; Though, all of them are really, really great! I've never even seen that fourth piccy before... *begs Sammanthy to tell her where she got it* *huggles each* ^ .^
  18. Yeah... I'll have to kinda agree with you, there. oo; Your first impression of a person is their appearance, because that's the first thing you see. You can't 'see' a person's personality, and that all comes in later once you get to know each other a little better. And you can't say appearance doesn't matter at all, because the first thing you notice about the person is their appearance, not their personality, because you can't see their personality until later, and... *trails off* Anyway, of course, personality is most important. However, appearance also plays a small role. They don't have to be Orlando Bloom for me to like them, or anything. Basically, they need to be able to have fun, have a sense of humor, be somewhat kind to other people, etc, etc. Though you really can't say appearance doesn't matter at all. Like Celia said, all of the guys I've met irl won't even talk to a girl they don't find somewhat attractive in appearance. oo; *nibbles on a cookie*
  19. Hmm... if it works with pennies, why not ask them to leave cookies behind instead? o.o; But that is interesting. I never heard of anything like that before. How does it work, exactly? Do you bury the pennies with them, or... oo' The first thing I thought about after reading that was how the Greeks would put coins in the mouths of those people who died, so they'd have the fare to pay to get across this river in the underworld. If the people didn't pay their fare, they wouldn't be able to rest, and would come back to haunt their family for not giving them the fare. But I don't know anyone who died yet... soo...
  20. eeeeeeeeeee... ^ .^; Favorite Actors: Orlando Bloom! Ewan McGregor Johnny Depp Harrison Ford Favorite Actress: Nicole Kidman ------ Orlando Bloom: Mkay. He's gorgeous in all his roles, including the upcoming ones. I absolutely LOVE his voice, and he looks great even with occasional terrible hair-cuts and sweaters. Not to mention, he finally got to showcase his acting skills as one of the main characters in 'Pirates of the Carribean', which I totally loved, because he fit the role of 'Will Turner' so well. And he's perfect as Legolas, too. I can't imagine anyone else playing him. Not to mention, *cough* He is mine. ^_~ Johnny Depp: He's just a really great actor. I absolutely loved him in Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, and, of course, Pirates of the Carribean. He's played all sorts of characters with totally different personalities, and I really think that's what a truly great actor would be able to do; take on different roles with different personalities. Not to mention, he's also reeeeeeeeeeeeaaaally good looking. x.x; Ewan McGregor: Though his roles haven't been too different, Ewan McGregor is one of my favorite actors. He did a fantastic job in Moulin Rouge, especially since he's just as great as singing. ...Not to mention, he's also reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaally good looking. >>; Harrison Ford: I mean, he's still just as popular now as he was in the 80's and late 70's, possibly even more. He's one of the best actors I've seen, though all of the roles I've seen him as were all kinda... the serious or really 'manly' character. But it makes sense, because he has that rough edge to him, which seems to take more effect as he gets older. It was fun seeing him in a comedy, for once. I mean, that bicycle scene in 'Hollywood Homicide' was just hilarious! Nicole Kidman: She's a wonderful actress, and gorgeous, too. I loved her in all the movies I've seen of her, and at first, I couldn't even recognize her in 'The Hours'. In 'Moulin Rouge', I end up crying in the scene where
Satine dies
, and it really takes alot to make me cry when someone dies in a movie. Overall, she's just a great actress, and I'm really looking forward to a few of her upcoming movies. ^_^
  21.  My parents do tons of weird things, but they're all really funny and 'loveable', because they're always so cute and at the right timing. ^^;;; The weirdest thing my mom does is she always opens the drawer, bends down and opens the bottom cabnet, without closing the top one first. Then while she's rummaging through the bottom, and she gets up, she slams her head on the top drawer. >>; She does that everytime. I always have to volunteer to do it for her, so she won't hit her head. x.x;
  22.  Hmm... actually, I've thought the exact same thing, only, I couldn't really put it into words. >>; *hands Celia a biiiig cookie* Yeah, sometimes I wonder if all this actually is a dream, and when you die, you wake up from it, or something. Or if what everyone sees is different. My blue might be someone else's pink, and their pink might be someone else's purple. But when they say 'as blue as the sky', they still see another color. Maybe that's why people like different colors, because what they see is different, and... *trails off* x.x;;;;;
  23.  My vote definately goes to Sara. ^^ I've seen tons of hilarious signitures, but all of hers seem to be really witty, creative, and funny all at once. o.o; *hands Sara a biiiiig cookie* ^^;
  24.
Originally posted by aYokano Yes.....T.T seventh grade is going to start,and I'm scared.I keep thinking I'll never have time to go on the internet,and be stuck inside doing homework,and stuff.HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!j/k
*pats your back* Don't worry, they say seventh grade is the easiest grade in middle school. I'm really, really glad to be going back to school, though I am worried about which honors teachers I'm getting. Half of them are really strict, and the others are really lax. And I'm praying I get the same classes as Celia, so I can be with my cousin! ^^ But seventh grade shouldn't be too bad. After all, as long as I'm not having Ms. Cockburn, Juu is happy. *nods*
  25.  I actually enjoy both. ^_^ Being alone helps me catch up on some thinking, and pretty much sweep away some stress and anger. When I have some time alone, I can relax and calm down. That's why I don't get angry very easily, because I have so much time to be alone and lift some of that stress. However, I absolutely love company. It's always fun having people to talk to, and just have a conversation with. Even if I'm not talking to anyone, it's still nice knowing you have people around you, and you're not the only person in the world. And when I say company, it doesn't always have to be a huge group of people or anything. I can just have one other person, or just one, two, or three friends to talk to. And if I'm on a trip, or my friends are on trips, my dad's really fun to talk to as well, suuu... I don't have to go bugging my dad or my friends all the time. ^_^;;;;
