Wow! That's awesome! ^^ I LOVE that Iori picture. Where do you get your SNK piccies, anyway? I have so much trouble finding good piccies of them lately... At least anything that high quality. oo; Banner: 8.7/10. Avi: 9.2/10.

The black frame chipped away as light spilled down from above, marking the end of the forest. The familiar giggles echoed ahead, as Relee followed anxiously. Barefoot apon the grass, she continued galloping after her sister. Up ahead, she could see locks of golden hair bouncing up and down merrily. Her heart was filled with a queer happiness, as she had never felt before. The dense wood broke off, as she reached a cliff. Once Relee found herself in the sunlight, her sister had vanished. "Rita?" No answer. "Rita?..." Her eyes snapped open, and now she found herself back in her room. Relee lifted her head slowly from her bed, gazing oddly at the lit candles below her. She had forgotten to blow them out before sleeping, which might have been the cause of the strange dream. Slowly, she stood up, feeling a burrowing emptyness in her chest. Once the mess of wax and burnt matches were put away, Relee walked over to the cabnet, and pulled out nine more candles, each engraved with celestial shapes. She set the star in front of her, to the right, and set the sun at her left. Directly in front of her, she placed an eye engraved with a brick red, that she had filled with her own blood. Then, she lit each, and set a long golden map in front of her. The cloth was tattered at the edges, though the ink was still vividly visible. Then she placed nine gems along the map, and ran her palm above it, eyes closed dreamily. Then her eyes snapped open once more. Relee crawled out of her tent. A few chickens met at her ankles, blinking mindlessly at her anklets. She walked into another tent, where Anai, the sorceress of the village, was healing one of the elders. Bending down next to the old woman, she opened her mouth to speak. "The king has found another stone." Relee spoke softly, inclining her head. Anai simply nodded. "I know."

Assumptions of a Newbie (and other short stories)
Juu replied to Doukeshi's topic in General Discussion
I don't think it's terrible to be a newbie at all. There's plenty of newbies here who have excellent post quality and have really intellegant posts. However, you can't expect all newbies to have the same post quality as some of the older members here, especially if they're fresh out of chats. *points to self* ^^; And I also like newbies. It's fun to make new friends, and meet new people. It'd be kinda boring if you never got to meet new people in a forum this big. I especially love when they PM me and say 'Hi'. I'm always glad to talk to someone new. ^_^; -
Gosh, I've had so many crushes on OB... :blush: Well, my first crush was Bryan, (Lalaith Ril), and we were actually 'married' from November to January. And I still have a teeny crush on him, though it's been haunting me since we broke up. >

I'm 5'7 and I weigh about 117. x.x; However, when I was in the third grade, at about 5'1, I weighed 100, suuu... >>;; Don't try too hard to diet. I mean, never ever try to starve yourself, but try to go a little easier on food. Starving yourself'll just make you hungrier, and when you just can't hold yourself anymore, you'll start eating alot again. My tip is just to take your mind off food, and get involved in more activities. Don't worry about eating too much when it comes to meals. Meals are important for your health. Just be sure not to eat too many snacks. Occasional snacks are fine, as long as it's a small snack. Healthy snacks are good, but too many can still make you fat. And try stretching while you watch your favorite TV shows, just about until you can make your head touch your knees. And while you're online, just be sure to get up, and stretch a little, especially after you eat. And don't eat too late. Try to have dinner around 4-7, rather than really late. Since you're sleeping, you're not burning any calories, so you should eat earlier, so you can at least burn a little from walking. ^_^;;;;;;

ORLANDO BLOOM!!! ^ .^ eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! I LOVED this movie! It's on my 'Top 4 Movies List' now, just because Orli, Johnny Depp, and Keira Knightly made such a great team. Will is absolutely gorgeous, and Jack is just a great character. Jack Sparrow was such a great character, and I loved how laid-back and witty he was the whole time. I just really, really loved Johnny Depp's acting in this movie. And his acting skills with Orlando's beutiful-ness made it perfect. ^-^ There seemed to be alot of chemistry between Keira Knightly and Orli, too...
And she got to kiss Orli!!!!!! >

I've been to Orlando four or five times. It's really rainy there. Last time we went to DisneyWorld, it started pouring down on us. And just as soon as we bought ponchos, it stopped. Then after we put them away again waaaaay down in my bag, (which was full at the time), it started pouring again. >>; Orlando's a fun place to go. The water tastes funky, but it's fun. Also, I love the name. x.x;

Well, if you use the avi Charles made at AE, you get banned. oo;; I'm not sure, actually. I've been feeling some tension lately, but I'm sure it's nothing too serious, like a war or anything. >>; Basically, I just suggest reading through a few threads at AE. That might explain a few points. Though, if they really are fighting, it's silly. I just don't really see a reason two boards should hate each other as a complete, or anything...

The 4th of July! *Lights rather large Roman candle*

I'm going to Anahiem for Anime Expo! ^ .^ Hopefully, I'll be able to find Shy at the convention center. This is my dad and my first time going to the convention center, but that's for Saturday... Friday, we're just driving to Los Angeles. There, we'll just spend time trying to find a hotel, and later go watch the fireworks if we can. ^_^ -
Ack! It's EvilWeh! *curls up on ChocoWeh's head* >>; Weh looks totally different with that effect. I didn't recognize it until I saw the bracelets. AND, the bracelet looks soooo kewl! It's all sliver and stuffs. ^ .^; 10/10. ------- Edit: Aaaack. Huge font size. x.x; *edits*

Well, you can always make your own with photoshop. Maybe just resize and crop the logo thingy at TheOtaku.com?

*raises hand* I'm twelve. I've had boyfriends. But yeah, I'd have to agree. I think 'love' might be a little too strong a word to use about her boyfriend. Alot of people don't fall in love until like, collage+. Though, I have to admit, long-distance relationships are alot harder to keep. And I actually had to break up with my past-past boyfriend, because I was moving. We're still just as good friends, and we don't have to mope around talking about how much we miss each other or something. >>;

Well, I think that'd be pretty difficult to do. oo;; I mean, there's usually an average of 40-ish members online, and wouldn't it be confusing to have them all talking at once? But there is a chat on TheOtaku. Though, it's not voiced.

Well, just take a look at the other threads. ^_^; Just make up any kind of character. It's pretty simple. All you have to do is give it some details, like... Name, Age, Weapons, Appearance, and Biography. It doesn't have to be very long. And if you have trouble making up your own character, you can just use yourself as the character -like, name it your name, describe how you look, etc, etc.

I love Bjork's voice, and her music videos are great. She's so pretty, too, and I wish we got to see her a little more often. ...At least at some music awards. That swan dress was really cute. ^^ I like her name, too. Bjork. *says it over and over*

Wow! Lady M's officially a mommy now! ^^ Let her know we all wish her and Christophe the best! Christophe's probably going to be just as gorgeous as his mom. ^^ *hands Lady M and Christophe a sack of cookies and marshmellows* Congrats! ^_^

After just two hot days, we're having the same problem. ...Only, with mosquitoes. >>; There used to be like, no mosquitoes in San Fran, but now I see them everywhere. And we only had two days at 87 degrees. But, no ants here. There are ants near my friends' house, but that's where I'm moving this August. Luckily, no fireants though. I remember when I used to live in Texas, though. We had ants everywhere, and they just loved biting me. - .-; Whenever we had lots of ants coming in, we'd just follow them along the wall, and find what parts they were coming from. Then, we'd just spray Raid in that area. Usually, Raid keeps bugs from going to that area for one-two days...

I do plenty of stupid things everyday. Like... tripping on the telephone cord. It happens all the time. ^^; Umm... I'm not sure. The one thing I'm regretting alot lately is cutting that little snippet of hair a while back. I still haven't been able to grow it out yet, either. Maybe I should just get bangs until it grows back? >>;
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve "How do I put an image in my sig" gets reallyold after... say the 3,000th time I've heard it.
*nods heavily* Yeah... I think I've answered like, five of those these past two weeks. >>; I like Flynn's idea about the rules test, but it sounds kinda inconvienient. Though, if more people read -or at least skimmed through the rules, we wouldn't really get questions about 'How-to put images in my sig' as often. Besides, it's posted in the rules in the Banner Request forum...

Sparring is basically just the same as Role-Playing, only... fighting. You post a sign up, with your character's name, age, appearance... or any other facts you want to post about your character. Then you can either wait, or challenge someone to spar you, and they'll post their sign up. Then, you just type out what your character does during the fight, but like a story. ...Preferably at least five sentences minimum. ...If that doesn't make sense, just check out the other threads made by other members in the Battle Arena. That should give you a taste of what it is. ^_^;

Wow, D_A! That was great! I love how the words rhyme without nessicarily ending with the same letters. Very neat. ^_^ 9.3/10.

Hmm... that's a pretty hard question. If I had to choose, I guess I'd say mod, though member's just as good. Like a few people said above, modding takes alot of responsibility. You have to be sure to check on your forums and keep them clean, answer random PM's, IM's and E-mails, and check in online often. But then, it feels good to know that you're helping the boards, and setting an example for other members. ^_^ Being a member's also fun, because you don't have quite as much responsibility on your shoulders. But of course, you still have to set a good example, and try to make the community a good place. ^^;

Writing Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
Juu replied to Queen Asuka's topic in Creative Works
Yeah! That made me SO mad.
Especially if he had thought of that before, Sirius might not've died in the first place! -- But the thing that annoyed me more was each time Umbridge said 'hem hem'. Everytime I read those words, I kept feeling as if someone tossed a paperclip at the back of my head, or something...
