Writing Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
Juu replied to Queen Asuka's topic in Creative Works

Yeah, it would be interesting... Though I'd love to see what Ron would do if Harry started going out with Ginny. >.>; Anyway, I finished the book yesterday (after fourteen hours of reading xx), and absolutely loved it. It's my favorite book so far out of all the books I've read, even out of the whole Harry Potter series. I just couldn't put it down! Especially since Sirius was so much more involved in this book. I cried during those chapters where Sirius died and Harry kept thinking about him. Hopefully, he'll come back and speak to Harry or something in the sixth book, or even come back. Though, I'm pretty sure I'll start crying again.
:bluesweat -
The longest road trip for me ever is from Los Angeles, California, to Pearl Beach?, South Carolina. I personally love long car trips. It gives me a chance to talk to people for a while, listen to music, and just have to... sit. And it's so fun watching all the different types of cities along the way. The whole time, my dad and I just talked to each other about all sorts of things, until we got tired. Then we listen to music, or take pictures of the scenery. I never really mind sitting in a car for a while, unless it's one of those cars with the really erect seats that you can't really lean back on, and don't have the little head cushion-thingy at the top. Also, it's terrible when they don't have a CD player. Though, if they don't, I just bring my own. ^_^;

I really don't care about the post counts. Though, it is interesting to see how many times someone has posted. Not too sure why, but it's just fun looking at them. >>; But I really think, if they were mature enough, the respect a member gets from that person shouldn't revolve around how many times they've posted. I mean, tons of newbies have great post quality right off the start. Though, I'd actually like to keep the post counts somehow. It's just fun looking through the numbers. >>; But, yeah, I'd have to agree with Roxie. I think the title 'newbie' is kinda annoying. And at first, I thought 'Junior Member' meant 'Younger Member', or something. Maybe if the ranks were changed to something less related to how long they've been here, it might make them not want to move on to the next rank as much, since their titles don't say that they're new? *curls up*

Around the link, put [img*] before, and [/img*] at the end, without the *'s. *points to rules*

1) Ordinary Day - Vanessa Carlton: This song makes me cry, because it reminds me of the day I moved from Galveston. I think that's the place I had lived longest, for three and a half years. It just reminds me of leaving my mom behind in Galveston, and going off with my dad. 2) My Immortal - Evanescence: I have no idea why, but this song just makes me feel really sad. The music and lyrics just makes me think about how I would feel if someone I cared about passed away. = /

Writing Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
Juu replied to Queen Asuka's topic in Creative Works
Well, I just got started with the book today. My friend lent it to me for the night, and bits of the rest of the month. I'm only at page 114, but here are my thoughts so far. :bluesweat This is definately my favorite Harry Potter book. I loved that part when
his uncle was yelling at him, and all the owls kept coming in. And that final howler letter was really kewl, too. I'm still curious to death on what it ment.
Also, I love how Sirius has a larger role in this book. He's starting to become one of my favorite characters. ^_^ Right now, I'm totally hooked. I'm probably going to read it a second time once I actually buy the book. -

*huggles ya* ^^ Like I said over IM, being gay won't change who you are, and you're still the same Bryan. ^_^ And... come to San Francisco. *nods* -
I almost cried in 'Finding Nemo'. :shifty:; The most recent movie that made me cry is probably 'Lilo & Stitch'. Everytime they mentioned 'ohana', because it was really sweet, but reminded me alot of my family. The most recent movie that made me cry hard would have to be 'I am Sam'. It's probably along one of my favorite movies.
It was especially sad when Lucy and Sam ran off together to the playground, and were taken away from each other the next morning.

Originally posted by Syk3 But what does everyone think of the cover? Personally, I find it to be another plus for the book, and again my favorite of the series. The whole blue sceme is AMAZING! > -
ooo... It reminds me of the 'THX' thingy that's usually shown before the movie starts in theaters. ^^;;;; I like it alot. Very realistic. 9.7/10.

It's not Mitch or Auron -It's Smitchron! ^ .^~! *dodges tomatoes* That's really neat! ...and creative. I knew it looked familiar, just couldn't quite figure it out at first. :bluesweat

...*pokes Lauren* :wow: If that sucks, I don't know what my banners are. That's great! I especially like that frame. It goes very well with the whole picture. ^_^ 10/10. *tosses a cookie atcha*

I'd actually want to be Catwoman, though I'm not sure if she counts as a Superhero. o.o; I love how she fights. Her weapons are kewl, and I love the way she climbs walls with her nails. Or.. I'd want to be Poison Ivy from Batman. It's really neat how she can use plants to kill people. :bluesweat

Students filed out of the school, some soaked by sprinklers that had switched on shortly after the fire alarm. The schoolyard buzzed with clamor, as the sirens of firetrucks could be heard up the street. Firefighters leaped from the vehicle, a few dashing into the school. Demi weaved through the crowd, digging her way towards the principal. She tapped him on the shoulder a few times, until he finally turned around. "What started the fire?" Demi asked, raising her voice. "They're not sure. It started in the janitor's closet." The principal replied, seeming just as confused as everyone else. Demi nodded, and turned back towards the street. A few figures were seen across the yard, moving away from the school. One seemed to be flying, shortly behind the other, who was running. Mutants. One was from the insitute, the other was unfamiliar. Once they crossed the street, Demi shrugged, and walked back over to the crowd.

This was such a cute movie. ^^ I don't usually watch too many romance movies, but I really liked this movie. It's basically about a writer, who owes this gang some money. And the only way to pay them back, is to finish his novel. He has the story in his mind, but he can't seem to write it down. So, he hires a stenographer, named Emma. I loved the ending. Kate Hudson's mini-roles were pretty funny, too. ^^;; Soo.. what are your thoughts on this movie?

What is your favorite thing to do on the weekend
Juu replied to TarMeg1989's topic in General Discussion
Since my dad and I both love going to the movies, we go downtown to our favorite theater every weekend, and see a movie, even if it means seeing a movie twice. Then I usually drag him over to the mall, and go browsing in shops. Or, if the weather's really nice, we go to the local park, and play soccer or tennis. And about once a month, we go to picnics with friends. ^_^ And sometimes, my cousins and I go to all sorts of theme parks, since we have season passes. Rollercoasters are always fun. ^^ -
Well, my parents got divorced last year, though it's not legalized yet. The separation doesn't effect me, because they've been living apart for quite a while. I guess the only thing that does bother me is all the yelling and fighting they used to do over the phone. My mom used to cry alot, and my dad would always pretend nothing happened when I called him. I really miss living with both of them, but I guess it's alot better than watching both of them be unhappy together.
-
I want chopsticks... uu I'll be sure to tell my cousin to see you perform. She's going to Manchester in August, soo... I'm not too sure about now, but I remember the weather being pretty similar to San Francisco. o.o; Have fun! ^^

eee! It's sooo cute! ^ .^ *huggles it* Kinda reminds me of the cave-troll in Lord of the Rings. The coloring makes it look all evil-bunny-ish, too. ^^ eeee... *steals it* 10/10.

I edited a few parts from it. :bluesweat -------- Name: Relee Kittana Age: 22 Race: Human Class: Used to be a noble, but now a Sorceress Bio: Relee was born to a well-respected family. For the first four years of her life, she lived with her parents inside a castle. However, her family participated in a secret organisation to find the aniar stones, and were later on executed by Malius's men. Relee's parents had died by a nearby village, where an old 'witch' found and raised her. As the years passed, Relee grew up to be a sorceress. There she learned a few healing techniques, and ways to make healing potions and poisons. Her powers rely on her potions, that mainly heal, and heal only. She has visions of the future, and an ability to read minds of the pure-minded. Relee was determined to find the aniar stones once she recieved news on her real parents, and how they had died at the hands of king malius. Apperance: See picture.' She is well known to have 'magical powers' and had dreams/nightmares about the future, as but mere shadows and she could only see a couple of days into the future. Weapon: Relee carries around a short dagger, but only to use as protection. Other: Vials of potions. Spells: Sarana: A self-sacrificing move. If she uses this, she can revive one life, by giving up hers.
