Astreè woke at the sound of gunfire, stirring harshly at the sounds. She winced at the pain at her side as she rolled to her stomach. Then, she placed her palm over her bedpost, and pulled herself up. Another gunshot could be heard, as a clamor of voices followed. Inquisitively, she approached her window with caution, still shaking from the pain at her side. Distant barking echoed through the trees, as shouts of terror and anger swept across her front yard. All of a sudden, the area silenced. Crackles of bullets waned into no more than a wisp of sound. Astreè gasped, as her eyes widened with fear. Quickly, she stood up, grasping her wound, and opened the doors to her wardrobe. She pulled out a large, thick coat, and placed it over her shoulders. After that, she pulled out a small 8ml handgun, and hurried outside. The fog's density had lessened, and she could now easily see about seven feet ahead of her. Astreè could hear voices, humanly voices. They aimed their weapons at the beast below, and shot it three times before it finally collapsed before them. Just then, one of the men turned, and aimed his gun towards her. "-the hell is that!?" The man exclaimed, aiming his gun towards Astreè. Astreè quickly pulled out her handgun, and aimed it back towards him, ignoring the pain in her shoulder. A third figure approached her slowly, gesturing for her to put her gun down. Abruptly, she aimed the weapon towards him, her eyes narrowing. "Who are you?" Astreè spoke, glaring. "This is Neil Parks, Marth Rigfield, and I'm Crieg Parks. What are you doing here??" Crieg replied gently. Astreè lowered her gun, as Marth lowered his. She eyed the three once more, before she began to speak. "I live here. That's my house up ahead." She replied.

I believe Shaolin Soccer's Chinese, too. -.o Anywho, I really liked the movie Sakura... I'm not really sure if that's the full title, but it was about a girl named Sakura, and how her life was like the stages of a Sakura blossom... It was a really sad movie. >< Also... Kung Fu is Chinese. o-o'
Originally posted by gokents I never even brought up winning or lossing. I never brought up terrorism. However you did bring up actions not supported by the u.n. So unless you can tell me what happend to 30,000 people in rowanda while the U.N. stood by and did nothing, just shut up. Im not even gonna honor your stupidity as to what happend in the first gulf war. Nor will I acknowledge your lack of consistancy when you didnt protest the un-approved actions against kosavo and bosnia that Mr. clinton took with out the U.N.'s approval. As for vietnam, I doubt you know a thing about it besides the lacking ideas and concept taught by inept teachers at public schools. (do you even know the years of U.S. involvment? Hint: they arent 64 to 73.) Sorry to be rough, but when you get on my case, youve got it coming to you.
I wasn't on your case. The whole post wasn't even directed at you. My lack of knowledge? Stupidity? I'm in advanced honors in World History. My history teacher's husband, who's American, fought in the Vietnam war. My grandfather also fought in the Vietnam war. Also, my school is a public school with private school abilites. It's courses are different than all the other middle schools in the district, not to mention our school has the highest scores/test scores in the city. Thank you for not 'honoring' my stupidity. I highly appreciate it. Nothing was appointed to you in the first place. So you shut up. ----- Yes, I didn't mean to put that in a rude way, Justin. I know alot of the things Iraq has done, and I didn't mean it like Iraq's completely innocent.

Astreè stood helplessly in the fog, blinded. The fog had grown thick, and she could hardly even she her palms a few inches from her face. Strangely, the snarling had disappeared, leaving her in complete silence. The silence felt awkward, yet frightening. A faint rustling could be heard nearby, possibly the rustling of the bushes nearby. She stepped away from the noise, tripping back onto a small mound of grass. The air was so humid, and she could hardly breathe. Then, she heard voices nearby. Humanly voices. Excitedly, she began waving her hands in the air, calling to whatever it was. Astreè felt a rush of relief sweep through her mind, as an outline could be seen of the figures. Just then, she heard a gunshot, and a sudden surge of pain jolting through her veins. As she opened her eyes, she found herself in her room again. Wondering if it had all been a dream, she rolled over to her side, only to feel the pain once again. She began to wonder who she had seen, and whether or not they had shot her. The fog was even thicker than before. Most likely thicker than she had ever seen. Astreè leaned over. There were a few voices in the dining room, and her mother was cooking. She couldn't figure out what it was, and all she could think about was how sleepy she felt. Again, she closed her eyes, and went to sleep.
Originally posted by solitaire ....I say, do it! do it! Have sex and go do some drugs, experience it. Get to know what will be around you for awhile. Sure, first times are always hard with drugs but hey, you will get over it. See, the thing is with me, I believe that everyone should experience CERTAIN things. Not all, because there are somethings that NO ONE should experience...:) Its just that drugs and sex is something that you have to become familiar with because you will be getting it more offend when your older if its happening now. Well thats just how I think it will all pan out to be. But hey, I could be wrong. Umm... Gokents, are you for or against the war? o.o; I didn't quite understand what you ment. ^_^;; Well, for one, war is terrorism. The action is considered just the same as terrorism if the UN doesn't approve. If the UN doesn't give one country permission to drop an attack on another country, then the other countries are then allowed to attack that country. Just out of curiousity, what complete-full evidence do we have that the 9/11 attacks were linked to Iraq, anyway? Also, the US never actually won the Persian Gulf or Vietnam War. So, keeping that in mind, I don't support the whole idea that the US is going to win no matter what. Rome and Babylonia didn't expect to lose either. I'm not saying the US is going to win or lose. Just that you shouldn't just assume anything in particular.
-
Well, I actually see some irony in this. The US has hundreds of 'weapons of mass destruction', and they're picking on Iraq to disarm. Our school made a big deal about the walk-outs. They're actually not letting anybody out of their classrooms, since about ten people walked out during the last protest... o.o;
-
Well, it seems like we're going to war either tonight or tomorrow. = \ I was really hoping it wouldn't happen, too... ----- There's a Peace Protest tomorrow, and five of my friends and I are going through the neighborhood tonight, posting flyers for the march and anti-war stickers. What are your opinions about going to war?

Does anyone here collect anything? ^_^ If so... 1) What do you collect? 2) How much of the item(s) do you have? 3) What is your favorite out of all the items? 4) How long have you been collecting it/them? Such as, if you collect Pokemon Cards, then tell us how many cards you have, or think you have. Then tell us what your favorite card is. If it's something like a favorite actor/singer/group/TV show...etc., then tell us what your favorite thing is. Such as, your poster, T-Shirt...etc. ^_^

Wow... that was a really neat review. ^_^ I'm not too sure if I want to see this movie very much. I'm not really into really dark movies, and they really tend to freak me out lots. @.@; Especially if it's about rats. :shifty:

I think that was pretty rude of the parents to do that. But then, parents are just... like that sometimes. @.@; I don't think you should pay any mind to that. I mean, it's not like how you guys dress is going to hurt them or anything. One thing I find kinda bad is how alot of times, people think if you wear punk/goth clothes, they think you're going to rob a bank or something. --; I dress goth sometimes, but it's kinda common in my district, so not many people seem to mind.

Astreè pressed her face against the windowsill, eyes lingering to the clouds. The stale clouds drifted softly at the high breeze, as the evening fog dotted the leaves outside. It was calm outside. And she knew it wouldn't rain. When it was foggy, it never rained. A small chain rattled against the floor, as a short-eared collie walked in her room, nuzzling against Astreè's arm. Astree smiled, and stroked its side. The dog dropped a red leash in her lap, as it sat on its hind legs. Astreè shook her head, and put aside the leash. "No Whitney. It's too foggy outside." She spoke decisively. The collie whimpered, and nudged her arm once again. Astreè put a finger to her chin, and sighed. "Alright then. But not too far." Whitney leaped up to her feet, shaking her tail with delight. As soon as Astreè put on her leash, the dog tugged on the leash impatiantly. It whimpered several times, before Astreè began taking a few steps to the door. She called to her mother she was going outside for a bit, and opened the door. Once they were outside, Whitney's anxious eyes hardened. Her long snout shifted, as a low snarl came from her throat. Then, she began to bark, clawing at the earth. She stopped, sniffed the air, and growled louder. "What is it?" Astreè asked, wondering if there was something nearby. The dog simply continued barking, and tugging on the leash. All of a sudden, she began leaping violently in the direction she had been barking, ferociously snapping into the dense fog. Just then, the leash broke, as the dog dashed off into the mist. Astree's eyes began to panic, as the barking faded off into the woods nearby. "...Whitney?" Astreè called, eyes widening. There was no reply. All she could hear was distant barking. Then, a second snarl could be heard, much lower than Whitney's. The snarl was too low to belong to a dog's, as well. Suspicion took Astreè, as she took a step towards where the barking was coming from. Suddenly, the barking was silenced, and Astreè could no longer hear her pet. As she took another step, she felt something under her feet. She bent down to see the strange ooze she had stepped in, and shrieked at what she found. ...blood... A few strands of fur dotted the grass ahead of her, with more blood tainted on the blades of grass.

Whoo... sorry it's late Flashy. ^_^; ----- Name: Astreè Kittana (Astray) Age: 17 Personality/Bio: Astreè was born in Kyoto, Japan, though her mother was French, and didn't know much Japanese. Even though she grew up in an Asian atmosphere, she attended an international school. Outside of school, her grandfather would teach her self-defense, in case anything would happen to her. However, she didn't like the thought of fighting at all. On her eleventh birthday, her father had disappeared. Astreè never knew much about her father, because he rarely came home. After six years of waiting, her family decided to move, perhaps into a more resort place. Less crowded, and peaceful. They decided to move to a place called silent hill, which was said to be a rather quiet town. However, Audreè was hesistant to leave. She had always dreamed of going to America, but something about Silent Hill would send a chill up her spine... Description: Astreè is tall and slender. She has natural sierra hair, streaked with crimson highlights. Before her father died, she kept her hair long, after recieving a letter from her father how much he loved her long hair. Though, once he died, she cut her hair, and never allowed it to pass her shoulders. Astreè wears a tank-blouse, which is cut a little higher over her stomach, and tight, yet flexable, black jeans which flare at the bottom.

At least you were in the first grade. T-T That happened a few months ago for us. >>; And, when I ran out of the bathroom, I ran into my guyfriend. You have no idea how many things I had to do for him before he let me out of the blackmail. --; ooo.. one more embarrissing moment: Mkay, in one of my old Gate classes, (gifted/talented), the head gate teacher walked in our classroom, to see how well our teacher was instucting us. Well... we were reading out loud. As soon as our teacher told us to re-open the book, I had my book upside down. #.#; After that, I kept getting tounge-twisted on Mesopotamia. @_@;

Yeah, but you have to get on the internet to post what you write, correct? And, we're pretty packed with homework right now. STAR testing is in a few weeks, so they want us prepared. @.@; (btw, sorry if that sounded rude in any way.)

Yeah, but there's a difference between just 'writing' and 'typing'. Some of us might not have been able to get to a computer lately. And it's not like you can just grab a computer out from your backpack and start writing. --' I had to go to Colorado for four days, then I had tons of tests and reports to make up for the schoolwork I missed. Err... well, my dad and I were driving to a Chinese resturant today. When we stopped at a red light, the car in front of us had a piece of paper taped to the inside of its back window. It said, 'I support Bush', and it had a picture of McDonald's french fries and two pieces of bread. oO;; But the odd thing is, the car had two broken windows. o_o;
