I also voted for 'I love all rap', even though I like some rap. Gangsta Rap is okay, if you're referring to what I think you are. o.o; Some Rap today get on my nerves, badly. Nowadays, most of the rappers seem to have the same voices, and same type of music. I mean, they even look alike. oO; I liked some of the Gangsta Rap, like the...umm... I think it was called 'O.P.P.'... I don't remember, bah. >>; I hope I'm thinking of the same thing. ^_^;

GameCube's actually my favorite game console, actually... I think all of the GameConsoles can be really exciting if you give them a chance. ^_^;;; Alot of the GameCube Games are great. I don't think you should say they don't have anything to offer if you haven't played all of the games yet. :whoops:
Originally posted by Queen Asuka I don't know. I haven't really been able to post much lately because that's ALL that's on here: depressing threads about how much life sucks. Well, everyone goes through bad times. I think the reason people makes threads about it is to get attention and to get people to console them. I'm not saying it's a bad thing becuase everyone needs someone to talk to and I guess alot of people feel they can only open up on here. So this place may be their safe haven and their only escape. I'll just be glad when someone starts an entertaining and happy thread. I'm tired of all of you being depressed. Cheer up! The world is not ending! ^_^
*nods* I agree. It's been really tough to post, since basically all we can post is, "I'm so sorry that happened... That must be really tough for you,". My favorite version was V5, even though V6 looks the best. Even though I was trapped in Big Brother II for most of it... --; *pounces on Flashy's head*

Laitina's head ached. She withdrew her hand from the mirror's edge, and placed it on her forehead. It was difficult staring at the water for a long time. The water was boiling, and the steam was burning her eyes. The image faded, and the water seemed to sink into the mirror. This was the first time she had watched something for such a long time. Usually, she would only gaze apon the forests, and that would only be an hour or two. But the veiling of the sun had begun, and night was beginning to cover the vast sea of stars. It was the time when the trolls would awake. Now, the difficult part of the two's journey would begin. Their mission had only begun. She poured the remainder of the morning's water into the mirror. Laitina would have to wait until the next mourning after this supply had run out. The two's faces appeared in the mirror, much clearer than before. Her eyes had grown used to the unclear images, and to see the clearity of the picture once again felt strange and unfamiliar. This was, however much better for the night. Creatures of the shadow would awaken, and could not be easily seen.' Diduri had started a fire, and used the flames for a torch. He kept the torch close, as Li began to taste the flesh of their meal. Their stomaches weren't even close to starving, yet they were all aware that this meal would be important, for their journey would get more dangerous from this point. The flesh of the deer felt rich and heavenly on their tounges, and each bite was sweet and tender. Li was deep in thought, for her eyes had deepened than they were during the day. Diduri leaned over the fire. "What are you thinking about?" He asked, putting down his piece and ready to listen. "Nothing." Li replied, shaking her head. "Alright..." Diduri spoke, being able to nearly read what she was thinking. "It's just-..." Li began. "I don't know..." Li avoided eye contact, and fixed her eyes at a nearby branch as she spoke. "I don't understand..." She said reluctantly. "My past is so unclear to me. All the darkness, pain..." Li shook her head once more, as if to break from a trance. She hung her head on her shoulders, and didn't speak for the rest of the meal.' Laitina's eyes sadened. There was so much more to Li's life than she would show. Reading minds were simple, yet she had never felt anything so deep come from one lifeform's memory. Even the saddest tales she had heard could not compare. A single tear fell from her cheek. She closed her eyes as it fell into the mirror.

Whoo... I hope this is the right place to post this. ^_^; Anyways, I was just curious on what books you thought were better than their movies, and which movies were better than the books. Most of the movies probably don't contain all of the information from the original text, but the movie might appeal to more people that way. I did a report on this, sooo... I was just curious on which movies were better than the books, and which books were better than their movies. Soo... 1) Do you usually prefer books or movies? And why? 2) Which books were better than their movies? And why? 3) Which movies were better than their books? And why? 4) Which books/movies did you like equally? And why?

Athena hummed, as she finished her sucker. She had finally reached the bubblegum inside, and it had taken her all period to do so. Tossing the stick behind her, be put her hands behind her back and walked away casually. As she looked down at the newly trimmed grass, a dark shadow covered the floor beneath her. "Whaddya think yer doing!?" A deep voice exclaimed. "Littering?~" Athena muttered, and didn't turn around. "Go put it in the trash!" Reluctantly, she turned around and picked it up. Then, she walked over to the nearest trash bin, and tossed it in. As she began to walk away, the gym teacher's thick fingers tapped her on the shoulder. She cleared her throat, and gestured for her to spit out her gum as well. Athena nodded, and walked back over to the trash can. The gym teacher tapped her shoulder again, and pointed to the trash bin across the field. "Why can't I spit it out here?" She asked, eyes widening in bewilderment. "Because you need to be punished. Now run, or I'll give ya another lap!" The gym teacher commanded. Once she blew her whistle, Athena began running across the field. The teacher smirked in content and grunted. As soon as she turned around, Athena stopped and snapped her fingers. In an orange flash of light, she disappeared from the center of the field, to the other side. Then, she spit out her gum. "Agg..." Athena screamed, and stumbled back onto the grass. "What!? Who's there?" Athena exclaimed, crawling back from the dumpster. "Arrrgh..." Athena glared at the trash can, and put her palms out at the trash can. Then, she pushed her hands forward, and a pink blast blew up the dumpster, sending old newspaper and rotten apple cores into the air. A shriek came from the explosion, as a familiar woman landed in front of her. "Miss Aoyama!" Athena exclaimed in astonishment. "Sumimasen!" The woman struggled to get up, as her hand twitched. When she got to her knees, she coughed and rose up her hand to tell her it was alright. "What happened? Why were you in the trash can?" Athena exclaimed. "P-P-...Prin-Principal Fujimatsu." She replied, still recovering her breath. "Principal Fujimatsu? Is that why he was asking for-" "Yes." Athena tilt her head in confusion, and helped her get up. "I'll explain later. Come with me."

I think I'm a Red fox cub, because they're playful, enthusiastic, cute, and have split personalities. They don't always understand things, and they're still trying to learn. People might think they would be able to control things, and defend themselves very well, even though in many cases, they can. As they're growing up, they learn valuable things from others. Also, they never live in the same place for too long, and have to adapt to different environments.

Hmm... It would be really nice if games for Playstation came out for GameCube. Like Final Fantasy, Virtua Fighter (if it isn't out yet), and a few others from SquareSoft. I think YuGiOh's starting to do better than Pokèmon, though. I really don't know anyone who watches Pokemon anymore. >>;

Keke ^_^ Bulla is a clay ball where the Mesopotamians put coins in. ^-^; (I'm such a dork >>; ) Umm... I really don't like either of the names. 'Bra' sounds super funny when you say it, and 'Bulla' sounds...gross. oO; It reminds me of clay balls. ^^;

Hmm, if this is going to be about growth spurts... I'm 5'7, and I'm the second tallest girl in the eigth grade. In the whole school, I think I'm fourth, because there are these two really tall girls in the sixth grade. @.@; Out of the guys, the tallest guy is like, seven and a half feet. oO; He's really, really tall. The shortest girl in my grade is about 3'8, and the shortest guy is about 5'2, I think. The guy that's like, 7'6 said he was about 4'10 in the sixth grade... o_o;;

I think I'm more of an early bloomer... I'm about an inch taller than all the girls at my school, and some people actually think I'm fifteen. oO; It's kinda weird though. Some people in school just tap me on the shoulder and say, "Did you flunk?", and I'm like, "Uuuh... I don't think so..." ^_^;;;

Hmm... this is an interesting question... o.o; Hmm, I would like Michelle Branch to play me, except she's not an actress... ^_^; Or someone who looks somewhat like Rinoa. I don't exactly know why, though. o.o; Happy Music: Working for Vacation- Cibo Matto Sad Music: Leave- Lee Jeung Hyun Love Music: Valenti- BoA Ending: It's raining, with BoA's 'Duvet' playing in the background. It's basically a icy-blue background, with this cobblestone-ish kind of setting. This guy, (can't think of who) would be there, and there would be this gunshot. Then, she would fall to her knees, and die. (Sad ending...) Time: About an 1:52, I guess...

I absolutely love sleeping, but I can't get myself to fall asleep. ^_^; Before I lay down, I don't want to sleep, but as soon as I lay down, I get pretty happy. ^_^' I never get very upset before I sleep. It's usually the opposite for me...

Anime What makes an Anime Charachter a Good Charachter
Juu replied to tabmow's topic in Otaku Central
Basically, I prefer anime characters with a certain personality. Most of the characters who are always the best seem to get on my nerves often. Also, they should be able to entertain you, at least make you laugh or feel some emotion from the anime. ^_^ They don't always have to be strong for me to like the best, just make me smile. ^_^' -
Also, there's a pretty large variety of games. I think most gamers would like to see different games, but of a certain genre alot of people seem to enjoy. Like... Mario. ^_^; A Poke-world game would be interesting, but for the moment, Pokemon isn't as large as it used to be.

Oh gosh, every time I listen to 'Thank You'- Dido, 'A Thousand Miles'- Vannessa Carlton, or 'Wasting my time'- Default, I always get really sad, because those were the songs playing on the radio when I moved from Galveston. It was raining then too, so if it's raining, and the song's on, it drives me crazy. >>; Most songs have some sort of memory attatched to me too. Except food and movies go together for me as well. ^^;;;

I really wouldn't consider Avril Lavigne punk. She's actually more pop-ish, according to yahoo... 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' is stuck in my head often. ^_^; I heard 'The Anthem', but I actually prefer 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous'. I like their songs, but I think they're not really punk at all. By the way they talk, I actually think they're kinda poser-ish. I don't think Avril really talks like that either... I haven't really ever met a person that actually talks like that. oO; The songs are good though. I try not to compare them too much to other groups...

I always thought I was the only one who did that. ^_^;;; It's really become a habit for me. My chair's a spinny chair, so I like having one foot dangling, with one foot just... sat on. ^^; I sit on my left foot, and I have my right leg over my left ankle.

I don't think a forum for card games would be a very good idea. oO;;;; By how some of the YuGiOh card spar-game thingys were, the posts would be too short. I mean, it would just be something like: "I draw a ace. Your turn." "I draw a two. Your turn." ...etc. I really don't see how that would work... >>;

I love Good Charlotte's song, 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous'. It keeps getting stuck in my head, and I often have it turned on my computer. ^^ I know this sounds embarrising, but I've never been to a concert/tour before. @_@; Maybe I'll be able to drag my dad into one of the next ones. ^ .^; I really wish they'd come to Cali. Since I have a week off before Spring Break, I would've actually had a chance to go with my cousin or something. >>;

I remember when I was about five, I fell asleep while I was watching the show before school. ^_^; Our teachers were talking about it all day. oO; Our math teacher still watches CBS, and she was really upset all day. I never really got into the show very much though. Although, I'm still kind of shocked...

Well, going to church for me isn't really an option for me at the moment, soo... ^_^; 1) I guess the first thing that comes to my mind is an alter, and people praying. Either that, or a Sunday School, with kids coloring pictures of biblical people, places...etc, or singing. 2) Well, most it revolves around family issues. Since my parents got divorced last year, my mom's side wanted me to be Catholic, some Buddist, some Christian. I decided I would be Christian, but after reading the books from a few different religions, I'm kind of confused about the whole thing. Also, we don't have any christian churches near our house. Most of them are Catholic or Jewish. 3) Umm, well I think Churches need people who can inspire other people to believe in that religion, and help them understand what the lessons the events are trying to describe. I don't think it really matters how a church looks like, or how many people attend.

Athena's eyes dazed wearily. Her head began to nod, snapping awake several times. It was nice having a tall jock sitting in front of her. That way, she might be able to catch up on sleep rather than World History. The hands of the clock seemed to take an eternity to tick. She had forgotten the first day was today, and had slept rather late. Mr. Sakazaki: Mina-san, ohiyo gozaimasu. (Good morning everyone.) Everyone: Ohiyo. Mr. Sakazaki cleared his throat, and began rummaging through his desk drawer. The students watched curiously. Soon, he rose from his seat and picked up a brand-new piece of chalk. On the board, he wrote down a page number, and tapped at the text firmly. The students each straightened their backs, and immediately opened their textbooks to page 127, as it was written on the board. He looked over each row, leaning over and checking off names. Mr. Sakazaki: Akasata, Tomeyo. A tall, lanky boy in the front row raised his hand. The teacher nodded, and checked off his name. Mr. Sakazaki: Asamiya, Athena. He glanced around the room, seeing all the seats full. In the back row, he noticed there was one seat left. Mr. Sakazaki: Asamiya, Athena! Athena's head popped up from behind the jock's shoulder. She bit her lip to conceal a yawn, and raised her hand. Mr. Sakazaki stared at her for a few moments, and continued down the list.

oooh, always remember to use the eye-droppy thingy once or twice during school. If they get too dry, they begin to bug you more, and they could actually fall out if they're too wet or dry. ^_^; Also, if something gets in your eye, never rub it especially when you have contacts on because it can really scratch your eye bad. And, never sleep or take a shower with contacts on. When I took a shower with them on, one of them fell out. u.u; Annnd.. there was a little accident with one of my mom's friends when she went to sleep with her contacts on... >>; I've had them about half a year to a year now, so I'm pretty used to them. ^_^;
