Hmm... here are the valentines I'm making this year. We can't really give each other candy, unless I walk around the school giving each of my friends candy. >>; Soo... I just decided to make something small and simple. ^_^ It's for you guys too, if you want it. ^_^

The mayor clapped his hands together, and gave a wry smile at the group. "So." He spoke, an uncertain tone in his voice. "Did you all have a safe trip to the city?" Relee raised her chin slightly above her shoulders, peering under the hood of her cloak. "We're all here, aren't we?" Alex spat, raising his eyebrow at the mayor. The mayor gave an uncomfortable glance at the ranger. Obviously, they weren't very happy with the mishap at the gate. He walked to the center of the room, glancing around the wooden walls of the house. He cleared his throat, and put his hands together. "Well, I guess we should get a move on if we're going to reach the city by nightfall." The mayor sighed, walking towards the door. Xii's eyes widened, and began to gather her things quickly. Tylenia got on her knees, and helped Xii get her things together. Staying in the house wouldn't have been so bad. After all, it was rather nice having the group altogether. Tylenia's eyes glittered with anxiety, ready to see the inside walls of the city. Images of the city raced in her mind, to each cobblestone to rooftop, easily fitting together, piece by piece. Percy smiled lightly, and stepped over by Lacroix. Alex and Calonice gathered each of their materials, and walked over to the others as well. Relee picked up a small knapsack, and waited for Xii and Tylenia to finish packing. The women rose, and quickly stood by the others as well. The mayor grinned, and led the group out the door. "Alright. It's only two miles from here. I'll see you seven in Aiken!" The mayor stated firmly. The mayor strided his horse, accompanied by Calonice. They quickly rode off towards the city. A content, confident smile spread across the mayor's face. The others rode behind them. Their horses trotted swiftly, kicking up dust from the dirt trail beneath them. The trail was rather plain, not much to see along the way. It was a wide open plain, dotted with dying trees and plantlife, sands and dirt glowing a crimson red of the setting sun. "You don't suppose they would have a place to eat, would they?" Tylenia whispered to Xii. "Of course they would." Xii replied. "I heard they had some of the finest resturants there." Tylenia smiled, and reassured. It had been a while since she had a real meal, and the bread didn't seem to fill her. More thoughts rushed through her mind, as if they were placed out right in front of her before her very eyes. The group stayed close together. They moved steadily across the barren plains, skipping past stones and dry plants along the way. Endless prairies seemed to edge beyond the horizon. The horses picked up speed as they neared the city's walls once again. The guards were still there, looking rather awkward as they saw the group of travelers ride with the mayor. The mayor chuckled and raised his palm to the guards. The guards didn't move, one's face flushing red. Alex sneered at the guards as they made a wide turn towards the gate. The other guard tapped the other. The two dashed over to open the gate, and sweat dropped at the returning travelers. As they entered the gates, they remained silent in shock. Not many people walked the streets of town, even for that hour. A few commoners led their ponies to a miniature water fountain in the center of town, where they refilled their thirsts, and filled their stomachs. A few stable boys fed the ponies a few carrots, and leaves of lettuce that they seemed to enjoy. The ponies neighed with delight, as the boys smiled, and stroked the noses of the ponies. Their hooves clicked and clacked at the cobblestone roads of the city. A few stagecoaches passed, a seemingly wealthy couple led by broad, strong horses. The town seemed quieter than what they had expected. Much quieter. It seemed almost like a ghost town, emptied and hollowed over a strange and cunning event. But then, it was already turning into a ghost town. ?Where is everybody?? Tylenia asked, her eyes worrisome with fear. ?They?ve either departed or disappeared.? The mayor replied. ?These are all the people that are left.? The group glanced around. ?What about that bar? Are there people there?? Calonice asked. ?Of course!? The mayor exclaimed, bursting into gestures. ?Why, that?s where most of the people stay, in fact.? The group mounted their horses, and entered the bar, music and clamoring already audible. As they walked inside, a friendly bartender, who apparently owned the bar, welcomed them. He wore a friendly smile, and a hearty face, which eased the group from entering the new city. A few sat in the corner, eyeing them mysteriously. They glared at the few who stared, and observed those who chose to ignore them. The men scoffed, and took heavy gulps at their drinks. The others raised their mugs, and greeted them jubilantly. It felt unusual walking into so much noise after such silence; A sudden uproar in stifled silence. The mayor took a seat at a table in the far corner of the bar, out of earshot or sight of the residents. The mayor beckoned to the bartender, who quickly made his way over to them. He still held a mug and towel in his hand, drying the cup against his stout belly. ?Hello there! Name?s Bunkerdink.? The bartender introduced. ?You said something about seeing a few people pass through here?? The mayor murmured, leaning over to the bartender. Bunkerdink?s cheerful gaze quickly hardened, knowing the gravity of the situation. ?Ah yes? Those folk were from outside town, they were.? The bartender began. ?Looked suspicious to me. Them disappearances happened the night they came into town.? ?Really? How long were they here?? Calonice asked, eyes narrowing anxiously. ?Not long, I presume.? Alex commented, putting his fist to his chin. ?That?s right. They be here for half an hour.? Bunkerdink replied. Tylenia and Relee exchanged glances and eyed the bartender. Lacroix tapped his foot impatiently. The bartender?s words were slow, and took some thought to think over. This was frustrating... ?Did you hear anything?? Lacroix asked, his voice cold. ?Eh? not much. Just some strange talk about birds and flying south.? Xii leaned forward, and tilt her head, mumbling the phrase to herself. This was rather peculiar? Birds, flying south? it just didn?t seem to make sense. Xii looked behind her, and looked to the remaining sunset. The grass left of the sunset was destroyed, weathered and abandoned. She looked to the right, and saw bits of grass remaining. Then she rose from her seat as the others traded facts and questions at the table. She opened the door, and stepped down one of the steps. To her surprise, a few blades of grass were still green. Along with the grass, a few small daisies were still alive and thriving with life. She eyed the flowers curiously, and hurried back inside. Xii took Relee?s hand, and pointed to the plants. ?These are still alive.? Xii pointed out, touching the petals delicately.

Breaking Up: Advice Needed Desperately! (please read)
Juu replied to Lady Macaiodh's topic in General Discussion
Sorry to hear that, Lady M. = \ I hope things turn out better next time... For now, you should try to take a break from any serious relationships before you get everything worked out. Wish you the best! :whoops: *hands you a Vegeta plushie* -
Um, Draagul, the people who were 'listed' were the people who made it in the rpg. Please don't reply again to this. -------- Violent images rushed through her head. Shrieks and moans echoed through her mind like a phobia haunting her at each breath. Her heart raced, and her eyes widened. Celestine broke into a cold sweat as she lay on the table, shivering. Her fists clenched, so her nails began to dig into her palms. She screamed, and crawled off the table. All of a sudden, she felt a surge of hunger. It occured to her then, she hadn't eaten for days... no, weeks. Celestine crawled to the counter, and laid down on the white marble floor, clawing at the counter. The cold and hunger was driving her crazy... "Just a little longer..." She told herself under her breath, picking out a small shot from the discarded box. She crawled next to the door, and waited, eyes flashing with anger and anxiety. She kept the shot close, as the shadow of one of the assistant doctors approached the door. By this time, most of the doctors were upstairs, with the more advanced test subjects. This was her chance to escape.

Hmm... I don't believe any place would just hire anyone off the street. First of all, they can't just get up and find a job. They need a working degree at the least to get a job at McDonalds' or Wal-Mart. Also, they have to be educated enough to be able to do the math in counting and recieving money. It's not as easy as alot of people take it to be.

Celestine's eyes locked onto the man's face, trying not to show any sign of fear. His appearance sent a cold shiver up her spine, his eyes sending a chilling feeling from behind his sunglasses. "Your father." She replied simply. The man stepped back and turned away from her. He sighed heavily, and looked at her once more. "I have no father." Celestine opened her bag, and rummaged through a few papers. Quickly, she pulled out a paper, and handed it to the man. She hesitated. "He's accused of killing a man." Celestine spoke, tapping at the corner of the picture.

Celestine shivered. Her first attempt had failed. Badly. This was her punishment... Each breath she took was visible in the room. The metal table she had been laying on was blanketed with frost. Her tears had frozen over the past night, numbing her cheeks as she slept. The door was locked from the outside. It would be at least eight hours before her next attempt. Celestine's lips had turned a light blue, her eyes emotionless and cold. Escape was all she looked forward to. There was nothing else left to hope for. She clutched her arms around herself. Voices were audible outside, and the shadows of doctors passing by could be seen through the frost-paned window. The knob clicked, as a doctor walked inside, fixing his glasses, and rummaging through papers on his clip board. He inspected her, to the very strands of her hair. The doctor took notes and checked boxes, just as they did to lab mice in the past. Celestine didn't move, and laid silently on the table. She waited for him to leave. As the door closed, she put her fist to her lips and coughed. "Just a little longer..."

Celestine sat at the edge of the bar, silently sipping her drink, legs crossed. Her silver-blue eyes casually lingered through the crowds, cold and suspenseful, like a shark's. She tapped a small, nearly microscopic box on her right ear. "Nothing." It was dark. There were a few crimson lights around the bar, but the corners remained black, and hidden. Most people stood by those corners. The person she was to find would probably be in those corners, based on her luck lately. This mission was impossible. The only information she had recieved from Vice were three details. One, dark hair. Two, sunglasses. Three, six-feet tall. Apparently, she hadn't been in to The Cresent Moon before... She signed heavily, and rose from her stool. Celestine sauntered towards the dance floor, her eyes still focused on finding this subject. She felt an uneasy atmosphere around her. People were staring at her from their corners, giving her the same 'warm welcome' as the other newbies would recieve. This was folly. Obviously, these people haven't been out in the sun before. Possibly not even seen it. A chill went up her spine. She turned and entered the dance floor, trying her best to blend in without being noticed.

Eep. o.o' *obeys* BirthName: Sylia Kittana (Read Bio before calling her Sylia...) SubjectName: CL2-12K4-93 Age: 23 Appearance Before: Look at the pic below, except she had light, blond hair and silver-blue eyes. (normal clothes.) Appearance After: See pic. Bio: Celestine doesn't remember anything of her past, except all that she felt before her trasformation. She doesn't remember her name, or what she looked like before. The last she remembers is how she wanted badly to die, hating everything that had happened before. Her life seemed useless, so she had decided to just allow them to use her as a test subject, whether she survived it, or not. There is no memory whatsoever about everything else. Her friends, family... She doesn't even know where she had come from. Now that she has experianced the pain, Celestine doesn't want the others to go through all she had. She has her mind set on escape, and wants nothing else but to destroy them. Edit: Sorry!! ^_^;

The hardest thing I've ever done is choose between my mom and my dad when they got divorced. I loved both of them equally, but had to choose one. And it wasn't just living in a different house, but a different state... >

His hands trembled as he bent down to pick it up. Two pairs of silver bells lay on the ground, drenched with fresh blood. Elijah held it in his palms, studying it carefully. Eyeing the bells, observing carefully, drops of wet blood fell from the spheres, onto his palms. A lump in his throat left him breathless, as countless amounts of blood fell from the bells. A strange mark apon the silver seemed to fill his mind of queer mysteries of the forest. He shuddered as dropped them, suddenly feeling a surge of energy in his veins. In that instant, a blinding light appeared from the bells, surrounding him in a fury of white light. Elijah quickly shielded his eyes, blindly struggling to the closest tree behind them. He couldn't open his eyes. The light was too strong... As he grew somewhat attatched to the light, he crawled towards the bells on his elbows, stuggling to make his way without opening his eyes. He cupped one hand over the bells, shielding his eyes with the other. The bells began to shake, and sent another spark to his palm. Elijah resisted. His hands numbed at the jolts. Finally, he took firm hold of the bells, and held them closely in his hand. And then... the vines of the wall began to unravel, revealing hieroglypic patterns in the stone walls. They slowly parted from each other, pulling away into their own directions. The whispers grew louder. Trees began to sway wildly as the whispers grew louder. The ground shook ahead of him with great magnitude. Elijah struggled to keep his balance. His eyes widened. The land seemed to sink into a ditch, less than five feet ahead of him. Two sculptures of frog-like creatures rose from the ground, covered with dirt and debris of where they rose. Elijah stepped back. "This is a dream." He told himself. "This is a dream..." The mouths of the creature-sculptures slowly opened, a slight crevice in their tounges. Engraved into their tounges was the same character marked on the surface of the bells. Trusting his reflexes, he placed each of the bells on their tounges. Their mouths snapped closed, carrying each of the bells inside. They sank back into the ground, as a loud moan rumbled throughout the forest. He fell backwards, and crawled away from the wall, full of fear. The ground silenced, and the markings on the wall began to glow. Just then, his hands were drawn outsretched towards the wall. As if in a trance, he stepped towards the wall, pressing his hands against two triangles which marked the gates. He pulled his hands back, and saw the letter on the bells printed on his skin with blood. The door began to hover slightly off the ground, blinding him with white light, winds pulling him closer to the gate. "Isilier..."

Yeah... I guess so. Considering how many Chinese live in the U.S., I guess it really wouldn't make sense. ^_^; I never really pictured NK as a threat to China though... Since China has such a huge population and all... But, I have question... Where would Russia side with? o.o

I usually watch the Japanese Versions. ^_^ First of all, I like the voices much better, and the plot seems easier to follow along to. Second, my dad's not really giving me a choice. I'm in Japanese Class right now, so he's making me watch the Japanese versions of everything... Anyway, I just saw the sub of 'Sprited Away', and I was really, really surprised at their voices. Everyone's voice sounded alot better to me, and I really liked Chihiro's voice better too. In the dub, she had this really whiney voice, which kind of got on my nerves. In the sub, her voice actually gave her a different personality, as well as Hazu's.

Um. o_o; *blinks* I kinda thought China would side with North Korea... *blinks* Although, if the U.S. did go to war with North Korea, South Korea would be in a pretty tight spot. >>; We'd have a choice between, one, Killing our family members, in exchange of not getting bombed by the country with the most nuclear bombs in the world. Two, to side with North Korea, and get attacked by the American Army. @_@; Annnd... if they don't pick sides, I get the feeling both of them would get pretty upset... Anyway, here's a funny thing... Alot of South Koreans are investing their stocks in China now, and taking back their stocks from the U.S. >>; I read in a newspaper, that they're beginning to think China might end up as a leading nation if the U.S. fails in this war. *runs* There's been alot of headlines about this in the Chosun Newspapers. = \ It mentions Rome and Babylonia alot. >< *hides before getting flamed*

The two's horses gathered speed, and rode faster against the wind. It seemed as if they were gliding past the fields, their horses swift on their feet. "Which way do we go?" Laitina shouted, her hair whipping against her face. "Head west towards the Gladden Fields!" Elsyan exclaimed back, eyes slanting as they raced down the mountains. Laitina nodded in understanding, and rode down the mountain. Just then, she heard the familiar hoovebeats of a familiar horse... She turned her head behind her, and the world seemed to lighten. It was Legolas! Alas, he had finally arrived with haste. "Legolas!" Laitina called back, holding back an urge to wrap her arms around him. Legolas rode faster towards them, quickly making his way to their pace. "Gerich meleth nîn." He whispered, smiling lightly at her. Laitina smiled, and regained her courage to continue riding. Their horses sped in the dark, blindly trusting their horses' insticts. "Which way are we going?" Legolas questioned. "To the Gladden Fields." Elsyan replied. "What about the other two?" "They are far ahead of us. We shall meet them both in Lorien." Elsyan spoke urgently.

ooo... Nifty-ish. ^^ Name: Celestine Kittana Age: 25 Appearance: Celestine has long, chestnut brown hair which goes down to her waist, and is lightly highlighted crimson at the ends. She has pale skin, (think redhead). Celestine is very slender, and around 5'7 in height. Her eyes are dark brown, and almost black in dark places. Bio: Celestine prefers not to fight, and uses little of her physical strength. She has much skill with her handgun, and prefers to use that instead of anything else. Her mother gave her a pair of silver sai, embroaded with saphirres, which she carries around as good luck. Being overly superstitious, she also wears a 'lucky' silver bracelet, which has the words 'Meleth' engraved into it in miniature letters. Celestine is very skilled when it comes to making machinery, and often makes a few devices of luxury for herself. Her family consists of a line of generations who joined the Secret Service, and passed down their knowledge of technology from generation to generation.

Er... one more comment... ^_^; If we bomb Iraq, Mesopotamia goes... poof! >>; We're going to lose all of our biblical history, and really, really great structures. = \ Iraq has some of the most ancient buildings there. >< Examples: The Gates of Ishtar, Ziggurats...etc

Erm... well, my point in the 'paying soldiers' part, was about exactly how much this was going to effect our economy... He's planning to drop hundreds of bombs on Iraq, and each one costs about a million dollars to send.
