Laitina looked to the night sky, and tapped Lethe's hand. The mountains marked the ends of the sky, the horizon behind them creating an aura of periwinkle light behind them. As a few stars glowed radiantly across the blanket of night, birds pirched to their nests, returning to their young. It was nighttime for the birds. It was never to early nor late for them to sleep. It was a full moon. Glowing radiantly above them, the moon seemed to guide them; protect them from harm. Gondolin was truly a magnificant place. No words could describe the city's beauty... Lethe's eyes slowly opened once more. She grinned at the thought of the place, visioning their horses moving in the dark. It felt exciting. The thought of night made the atmosphere seem queer, yet anxious and ready... She smiled, and turned her head to Idril. Idril was also busy in her mind, taking the last sights of her city. She wouldn't be seeing it again for a long time. Lethe knew, inside, Idril also knew this. She felt worry in her heart.

Laitina placed a finger to her lips, as she kissed the tips of her fingers lightly. It was impossible to see anything in the dark. It had been days since she had reached the mountains. It was hard to believe anyone had seen people here in the first place. She blew against her fingertip lightly, and flicked her fingers at the ground. A wreath of fire appeared on the dirt ground, creating a crimson light from where she sat. Laitina pulled out a small vile from her belt, and drank from the miniature bottle. The frost-blue potion trickled down her throat, immediately causing the room to spin... The young woman put her hands together, and placed them at her head. She didn't know the potion would react so quickly...

Laitina awoke sharply, eyes widened with terror. Gasping for air, she felt a shock of energy slap against her chest. "What is it?" Elsyan asked worriedly, waking up. Laitina clutched her hand against her heart and inhaled. "I don't know..." Laitina replied. "Ril was right... something's getting closer." Strider dashed towards them, holding a torch in his right hand. The flames flickered densely as he hurried across the plateau. Laitina's eyes narrowed as she tried to see what was chasing him. Legolas sprung out of the wood from behind Strider, shooting multiple arrows towards the wood. "Run!" Strider exclaimed. "They're coming!!!" Laitina's face grew grim as she looked down towards them. "What is it!?" She shouted, cupping her hands at her mouth. "Run! Leave everything behind!!" Legolas ordered. Elsyan and Laitina quickly obeyed and leaped atop their horses. "Rimmon nîn!" Elsyan exclaimed to the horses. (Ride fast) The horses gathered speed, and raced south, moving faster at every step. The wind whipped against their cheeks, the flames of torches visible far behind them. Laitina did not turn back, yet the overwhelming worry began to flood her mind. "Legolas..." She whipspered, fighting back tears as the horses sprinted down the hills. Just then, a thought struck her mind. "How would Ril and Winter get to Lorien? They would have to choose between the Pass of Gondor, Mines of Moria, or Caradhras. They would all be difficult paths to take, but which one would they dare take? The mines were empty, yet another shadow was said to live within the caves, now the darkness had grown quiet during the past years...

I really think going to war is a mistake... I still don't understand why we're even going to war in the first place. I still haven't really caught on to that 100%. We're having a 'Discussion on War' day tomorrow. The whole San Francisco District has to have all students allowed to participate, participate in a discussion with their classmates for two hours on the war. Whether we think it's wrong, or right. I'm looking forward to this... My teacher's totally against it, as well as 99% of my class. I think the war isn't going to gain us anything, or make anything better. So far, we're paying the soldiers a million dollars a day just to feed them when they're not even moving yet.

I don't really mind 80's music... What I can't stand are songs before the 80's... *dodges tomatoes* I like music genres that's pretty active, and not exactly as mellow/colorful as the 70-60's were. Madonna's earlier songs like 'Like a Virgin' were pretty good... now I can't stand alot of her songs. I really liked hip hop better in the 80- early 90's though. But really... alot of people call songs up to three months old 'outdated' now. o_o;

Yay! Another great idea, Corey. ^_^ Name: Laitina Kittana (Lay-tina Kitt-ana) Age: 1018 Weapons: None. Laitina prefers to use Magic. Appearance: Piccy... yes it's horrible. >_>; Bio: Laitina was born to a royal family. She is very wise and skillful with her magic. Her pointy ears reveal her as an elf of the southern wood, Platina. There is little memory of her family left in her mind, for her family had each been slaughtered during the night. Laitina escaped from the battle site, and made her way into an empty forest. On her wrist, was a special jewel her people had called the 'White Star'. It brought enchanting spells into the forest where she lay, and brought a sacred shield around a small clearing. Despite her age, she appears around twenty-two, for that was the age she was gifted with immortality. She prefers not to fight, and does not have any skills in fighting. Although, her race allows her to use a few spells to protect and heal. -------- Hope that's okay. ^_^;

I don't really like alot of rap, but I'm a huge fan of Eminem. Okay... so some of his lyrics might not be the cleanest, but some of them are pretty funny. ^_^; I remember having 'The Real Slim Shady' stuck in my head for a loooong time a few years ago. In fact, one of my guyfriends has that ringtone on his Nokia. @_@;;;;;;; My favorite songs so far would have to be 'Stan', '8-mile', and 'Without Me'. ^_^; I really don't like the lyrics on 'Stan', though. Alot of people like him at my school. Alot of my friends have his poster in their lockers... In my case, I have Orlandy and... B- *sees Lalaith turn the corner* Nothing else. o_o;

Umm... I don't really like the idea of smoking, because first of all, I start coughing if the person at the other side of the room is smoking. I don't think smoking immediately makes a person a bad person, and just the fact that someone smokes makes them stupider/cooler/popular... etc. I don't think I'll ever start smoking. There's a lot of reasons why I don't. No one in my family has lung cancer, and everyone's trying their best to prevent it. *fwaps Bryan with frying pan* *hands Flora a marshmellow* It can make you sick. >

*dodges Semji* I've been sooo close to saying 'lol' about a million times so far. >>; Each time I end up saying: Juu: Lo-... Celia: What!? Juu: Nothing. o_o; Bah. She teases me about going on the internet too much. In fact... all of my friends have asked me how many hours I spend online. ^_^;;;

Wait... you mean it was actually out!? O_O *flips through Yahoo* ...wow. Here I was, waiting for it to come out. ^_^;;; I haven't seen it in theaters. Even though I was really looking forward to seeing it. I personally never liked Leonardo Dicaprio too much. Although he was pretty good in 'Catch Me if You Can'. I was looking forward to seeing Cameron Diaz in it as well. She's one of my favorite actresses...

~*Eternal Dream*~ Take another step... You have traveled great distances to come here. Take another step... The door in the wall is nothing but the path you must take. Take another step... Your doom is very near. Take another step... ~~~ Elijah felt something under his feet. He had reached the city limits, where the forest marked the boundaries of the Kingdom. Dark cedars and pines shadowed the grounds. Outside the forest, he would be far beyond the reach of the Astyrian soldiers. He had been running for nine days throughout the country, criss-crossing through busy streets. He could hear the sound of hooves not far from where he had been standing. It was exausting. They had been hunting him for miles. It was never his fault. He had committed no crime. Yet the cunning council would counter his words with ease, sending each of them straight back into his mouth. Elijah was defenseless in the new city. There was neither a soul or spirit there at the scene. The man had been dead for days. Possibly even weeks. Skipping past stones, and leaping through trees, Elijah inhaled deeply. Neither a breath nor heartbeat was heard. He was alone now, the soldiers had given up after more than a week's run. He stopped to catch his breath. Pulling out a pouch from his belt, he drank from the canteen until the very last drop touched his lips. Just then, his head turned towards a small alter. Veils of gentle sunlight caressed the tips of brittle grass which lay before it. There was something enchanting about the alter, for it lay covered in mysterious, whirling vines as he had never seen before. He leaned over to touch it. A light breeze swept across his face, tickling the tiny hairs on his back, sending a chill in the atmostphere. "Isilier..." Elijah's eyes widened. Echoes of a whisper trickled amongst the leaves. "Isilier..." He heard the light, silver chimes of bells overhead. He didn't move. Too frightened to breathe, paralyzed with fear. The breeze passed, and his body loosened once again. "This fresh air's driving me mad..." He murmured to himself. Elijah made his way into a clearing. His jet black eyes seemed to linger about, forgetting the voice he had heard, and continuing his travels North. The traveler gazed into the vermillion sky, tainted with clouds. Just then, he saw something... something glimmer in the sunlight. He rushed over to check it. What he found there paralyzed him with fear. ~~~ ----- Bah. >

"Lorien!?" Laitina exclaimed, eyes widening with delight. Strider nodded, and gestured for the fellowship to set camp. It was rare people visited Lorien now. Too many were far too busy to bother with the woods and trees. Not many respected them still, and those closest to Isenguard were destroyed. Strider gently leaped off his horse, and brought a few blankets and futon over to a high wall pointing to the south. He set the blankets over the futon, and walked over to another wall, setting down more blankets. "What if they come during the night?" Elsyan asked Strider, fearfully gazing to the North. "Abob and I shall watch these hills during the night. Legolas and Ril will stay here with camp. You three will stay here and rest." Elsyan nodded. It didn't feel right the men would have to stay up for the night. They needed their rest, for it had been four days since any had either slept or ate. As a heavy step rumbled behind them, Elsyan quickly turned around, to see the ent taking his time down the hill. "What about OakenWillow? What will we do about him?"

Now that I look over that problem though... I've remembered something... One of my classmates pulled that on the substitute once, and all she said was, "Impressive. Can you multiply each of them? Perhaps since you seem to know so much about math, you can solve that problem and bring it back to me by third period. I assume you can do all this in you head also." I think that's when people stopped making fun of her name...

Hmm... I guess what I ment was, like in the Revolutionary War... The two women who were married to guys who served in the Revolutionary War, the girls were about sixteen, and the men were like, eighty... ack >>; *dodges tomatoes*

I think the age difference matters until about... 18-20. I'd have to agree with Lalaith, I guess age wouldn't matter as long as you really loved that person. Although. A 20-year old getting married to a 90-year old wouldn't really make too much sense. o_o;

Hmm... for people in the Bay Area, we have Japanese Anime in Chinese in the Chinese Channel. ^_^ ...In case that's any help. I thought there used to be an anime channel about six years ago... I remember watching alot of anime when I was eight from 10am- 8:30pm...

The thing that got me back into Anime when I was seven, was all the detail they put into the Characters. The facial expressions were hilarious too. ^^ I don't remember exactly which one it was, but I remember laughing alot before getting back into it. Anime is a little more interesting to me than some of the American Cartoons. They seem to have a little more in-depth plots, and show some more feeling into the characters. On the other hand, American/Western cartoons don't really seem to have that much detail into the characters. I'm not saying Cartoons are stupid or anything, soo... ^_^; *walks out from behind chair*
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo Lord of the Rings right? That Sam character.
Yup ^^ Except, I think he switched it around from 'Samwise Gamgee' to 'Samgee Gamwise'. ^_^ I like both of them though. I kept saying 'Samgee Gamwise' at the movies, because I've been trying to say his so long. @_@;

I think we could've lived without the discovery of bronze... Alot of warfare began with bronze, and people became a little more violent too... = \ It's really interesting how things evolved like this though. ^_^ It makes you think of what some of the things'll look like years later in the future. ^_^

I'm curious... What grade are you in, and where exactly do you live? oO;
-
Well...actually... If you try to make your teachers feel bad, that's actually going to effect your grade, by making it lower one way or another. I'd suggest trying to talk to them. I've had plenty of mean/hard teachers before, and after talking to them, it felt kinda nice. ^_^ Not to mention I got a better grade.
-
Umm... I don't really see too muchova conversation in this, but... An easier way to get a higher grade from your teacher is to talk to her about it. That always seemed to work for me. :whoops:

Yikes. >< Around 12:40am last night, my dad got a call on his cell phone from a friend in Korea who we hadn't talked to for a while. He said he was just getting out of the hospital, and my dad was pretty shocked. He had been stabbed seven times in a parking lot, before getting his credit card and money stolen. He survived because he wasn't stabbed anywhere critical. I was really, really shocked. He had been bleeding badly for about 10-15 minutes, before someone called the police. I was really scared because it had been one of our best family friends...

Hmm... I just saw the music video again at my cousin's house... It's not really that terrible. o_o That scene was only for a few seconds. I don't think it's a controversy or anything. o_o;

Laitina placed her hand on Lethe's shoulder. "My mother and father were killed as well." Laitina spoke. "Or... at least my mother was. I haven't seen my father since he disappeared long ago." Idril nodded sympathetically, and sighed. "I'm sorry." She spoke softly. Laitina smiled lightly. Thoughts of Lorien rushed her mind, remembering her mother and father. She never met her father after he disappeared. It was the thought of whether he was living or dead that uneased her mind.
