3. Laitina eased, and relaxed on her horse. She first forced a small smile, and eventually shifted to a grin. She began to laugh at herself, and smiled back at Lethe afterwards. Indeed, she was a bit nervous, after all... they were leaving to see Morgoth. "Do not be afraid of him." Lethe reasurred, calming her glance on the elf. "It's not he who worries me, but just the thought of going there." Laitina replied. "I mean, it is quite dangerous. I don't want anyone to get hurt." The two smiled at each other, and continued riding with the group. Laitina turned, and saw another elf riding next to her. "Where in middle-earth do you come from?" She repeated. Lethe and Laitina slowed down, and got into pace with the other. "I am from the House of Last Play." Lethe replied. "And she is from Lorien." Idril nodded. "Suilannad. im Idril." Idril introduced, bowing her head. Laitina bowed her head to Idril, and smiled. "Where are you from?"

The Crafters

Laitina watched the two from her mirror, seeing Li lean closer to the water. That wasn't a good idea... ---- The water began to bubble from the center. A few more bubbles appeared from the center, as a puff of smoke followed each bubble. "What..?" Li stepped back from the rock pool, and stared uneasily at the water. They had taken a wrong turn. It was to the spring of Naur, which ment 'Flame' in elvish. A few words appeared before the egde of the spring, mysteriously engraving itself in crimson letters along the stone. ------- Laitina's eyes narrowed. The spring had awoken. "Bereth o Naur..." Laitina whispered fearfully. ------- A ghost-like figure rose from the water, glowing of red and orange, her hair glowing with flame. Her pupil-less eyes turned to Li and Diduri, who both stood firmly before her. "Minno!" The figure hissed, drawing her hand towards them. The demon outstretched her hand, and gestured for them to come. (Enter!) The two drew back immediately. This didn't seem right... "Altolo!" Diduri found himself shouting. The figure leaned back, and went back into the water. The demon disappeared into the water instantly. Diduri looked at himself, bewildered at what he said. Li quickly whirred around, and the two began running another direction.
Originally posted by GinnyLyn families are suffering because of this.
My dad and I were talking in the car on our way to my cousin's house... and during our conversation about the Columbia, I began to think... How devastated those families must have been. I mean, they're excited to see their families again. Anxious to see them come back, and actually proud of knowing they'd be coming back from a space mission. All those questions they'd be wanting to ask... And then, they see the ship, only it's on fire and exploding. >< I can't imagine how horrified they must be... >
8. Laitina reached for a slice of bread in a pocket along the saddle of her white stallion, and handed it to Lethe. "Ae Lembas. Edreg bass uin Lorien." Laitina outstretched her hand and offered her a slice. (It is Lambas. Special bread from Lorien.) Lethe accepted it, and took a small bite from its corner. It was much lighter than the other Lambas she had tried, and softer at that. It was a special recipe from her family. They would bring water from the wells of Lothlorien, and grind the leaves of flowers which blossomed there. Laitina took a bite of her own, and smiled at the taste of the bread. "Avam baur aes anann." (We will not need food for a long time after this.) Lethe smiled as she took another bite. It was decently good, that is, compared to some of the things she had eaten along her way to Gondolin. She took two more bites, and saved the rest for later.
9. Laitina shook her head in embarrisment. Although, to be truthful, the grapes were delicious. Unlike any other she had eaten before. Just then, an ear-splitting shatter came from outside. "What's that!?" Laitina exclaimed. Siren glanced behind her, and rolled her eyes. "That would be Rinalph." She replied. "Rinalph?" Jenica nodded, and laughed. "You'll understand later." Her cheeks turned back to their normal color, and the atmosphere didn't seem as thick. She supposed the potion helped wash down the Grapes. She spat in discust as she felt the bitter aftertaste in her mouth. It was horrible. "Can I have a glass of water?" Laitina asked, biting her lip. Her face quenched as she tried to hold in the flavor. "Not yet. At least not until the potion takes full effect." Jenica replied. "How long will that be?"
10. "We must hurry! Too long have we lingered here." Strider commanded, leading the fellowship down the mountains. They traveled with pace, zigzagging through stones and trees. Their horses dashed swiftly, the wind slightly picking up against them. "Ennas." Laitina pointed out, gazing down the edge of the forest. "Ab men sen, avam hae uin coth." (There. Once we pass there, we will be far from the enemy.) The fellowship rode down the steep hill, their horses kicking up dirt and sand as they strode down the mountain. There would be a clearing after this, protected with stone walls. It was the same place the fellowship before them had rested before. They would sleep here for the night, and be ready to leave the next morning.
11. Laitina bobbed her head as they took her inside. Tilting her head to her side, her eyes gazed around the room awkwardly. "Wher..." Laitina began to say. Jenica murmured something under her breath, as they laid her on the bed. She clawed at the covers, curled up on the bed. The two left the room and closed the door, leaving her in the room by herself. Her faced was bright red. Laitina let out a few babbled laughs, and laughed herself to sleep. As she awoke, the room didn't seem to spin as much. She heard voices outside, but the thought of standing up seemed impossible. Laitina laid in bed for a few more minutes, until the door opened and Siren walked in. In her hands was a tray, with a glass of water and bits of food on a plate. "Thought you'd like these." Siren sneered, holding up a bunch of the red Grapes. Laitina turned her head, and rolled over.
12. My grandfather has one. ^_^ It's a samurai sword, and it has a few words in Japanese on it. He got it when he became General in the Navy sometime in the 60's... I don't own any swords. ^_^; I have a pair of sai at my house in Korea. ^_^ It's fun twirling them, but I'm terrible at them. @_@;
13. Yikes >< I saw it on the news as soon as I woke up. My dad had the news on, so that's basically the first thing I saw on New Year's... u.u I hope the people there won't get hit by the debris. Especially my friends there. >
14. As the light began to dim, the clouds were tainted with vermillion rays, and cadet blue clouds. Shades of pink patched the sky as the lavender sky began to appear overhead. Stars were visible now, glittering above them. "Annûn bain..." Laitina whispered under her breath. "Rare is a sight as beautiful as this." Laitina's eyes turned away from the light, as if breaking from a trance. Lethe stood by the wall, enjoying the images she recieved from Laitina's mind. She saw them vividly, as if she had visioned them with her own. "It must be wonderful to live in a place such as Valinor..." Laitina said, imagining the radiance of the place. Lethe nodded, and smiled. She looked to the west, and sighed. Her chin rose as she took a step away from the wall, staff in hand. "We'll be leaving in an hour. We should get ready."
15. I'm afraid I'd have to go with the baby... A baby has alot to live forward to. I mean, a grandmother would pass away soon... although the teenager issue is kind of hard to decide too. The baby still has a chance for a new life, while the teenager has already set his/her course for life... But then again, it would be easier for the parents to lose their new child, since they haven't had years of being with them in experiance yet... Although, if I could, I would want to save both of them. I think both of them have much to look forward to, while the grandmother would only have a few years anyway.
16. Baba is soooooo annoying to me. I hate her voice in the dubs and subs, because it gets annoying the first time you hear it. @_@; On top of that, there were re-runs of those eipsodes with Baba before the Tournament, that really got annoying. >>; The way she looks doesn't bother me much... it just annoys me when she has a serious expression on her face. >>;
17. Wow! ^^ That the first time I've ever seen a Star Wars map... I never realized how far Naboo was from Corusant. I thought it'd be alot closer than that... It would take longer to get to Tatooine from Naboo than it did to Corusant... *dodges tomatoes*
18. I doubt there'll be another Outlaw Star coming out... The series is pretty old, and I think the ending was fine as they left it. ^_^; It would be nice to see it though. Although I'm usually not too bigova fan of sequels.

The Crafters

Laitina awoke, gazing apon the periwinkle sky. "Alas, morning has come." She whispered to herself. "A new day has begun." Hurrying over to the two, she gave to each of them a slice of bread and fresh milk. Li's eyes opened, and looked down at the breakfast she had prepared. The bread was still warm, and the milk was a ricker white than any other she had seen. She wasn't very hungry, nor in the mood to eat. Although, she forced a smile meekly, and took it without question. Diduri stared awkwardly at the bread, then the milk. He hadn't eaten for days, and when Laitina had said 'feast', he had pictured something a little different. Also forcing a smile, he bit a loaf of the bread. When he swallowed, it seemed as if he had just swalloed a whole meal. Bewildered, he took another, feeling rather full after the second bite. It was early in the morning, about 5 o'clock. The dew had not yet dampened the trees, and the soil was still moderate from the sun before. There were still stars in the sky, glitting about. "I hope you are rested. You will leave for the test soon." Laitina walked over to the well, and withdrew a larger vase, very much like the one she used. "You must fill this with water of the Spring of Sara'Dum." Diduri turned to the East. He could see past the hills and trees, and the sun yet seemed to be far from rising. "I do not see a spring." He spoke, peering into the thick wood. Laitina placed the vase in his hand. "The springs are no more than a mere illusion to mortals." She walked back to the well, and poured the remaining water in her vase into the mirror. Motioning for the two to come, they stepped to the mirror, and watched it carefully. "It is hidden. Your minds will guide you as long as you are open to your surroundings." An image appeared into the mirror, showing a few thick willow trees, seeming to be thousands of years old. The mist was thick in the area. Most of the trees were ancient. There were two boulders at the entrance of the pool, marked with strange heiroglyphics. "What do they say?" Li asked, observing the walls carefully. "They read: Pure must be the minds of these who dare tresspass these gates, for whether these bring luck or nor, the guardian will tell." Laitina replied. "The guardian will tell? What kind of guardian?" Diduri asked, his eyes flickering. "That, you will find on your own. You must leave now, the hour grows late. The spirits do not welcome travelers freely for too long. Hurry."
20. Laitina whirred around, and shot an arrow through the head of a goblin. Looking down with discust, Laitina instantly fell off her horse. A goblin pounced in front of her, clawing at the ends of her dress. Its soil-covered hands sauntered apon the dirt ground, holding a spear in its right hand. Laitina squirmed back towards the tree, seeing her weapons were with Narendil, her horse... "Darthadan!" Laitina exclaimed, feeling the bark of the tree at her fingers. (Stay back!) The goblin hissed, as its lips curved into a menacing curl. Her eyes narrowed as she glared at the goblin. It was but six feet from her. She had time, for the spear was far too heavy for the creature to carry. Laitina searched for any debris on the ground. Perhaps it would abide her some time until it reached her...
21. Her hands caressed deeply into the solid marble, concentrating. There seemed to be no flaw... well, no obvious one at the least. It was strong, yet there seemed to be a few cracks within the stones. Observing curiously, Laitina leaned forward. She looked over at Lethe, who she already knew had no sight. She didn't question about it though. There was something surprising about the half-Maiar. There air was still, and silent, except for the calls of the bold Eagles hovering above them. They were circling the castle, seeming to glide over the crest-topped mountains, watching and guarding the city, while on the other hand, their eyes seemed to prey apon them, like a cat's sharp eye ready to pounce. She shivered at this thought, and shook her head. Looking over at Lethe, she leaned back against the wall, the sun's rays now bearly peaking past the rolling hills. "What's it like in Valinor?"
22. Laitina's eyes lingered to the sky, where the sun had already begun to set. There was bleaches of red light speckled with stone-grey clouds shadowing over the eagles of Hidden City. They stood along the white walls of the city, looking over the rock-sewn course they had overcome to attend this meeting. "Boe a bain, Lethe." Laitina said, eyes seeming to flicker as the sunbeams caught her face. (It is beautiful, Lethe.) Lethe outstretched her neck, enjoying the warmth of the sun. She leaned against her staff, chin rising towards the hills, smelling the air. "Yes..." She replied. "The wind is kind this day." Laitina tilt her head to the side in confusion, not understanding what she had ment. She placed her hands atop the wall, sighing happily. Then, she began to wonder. How could a city as beautiful as this, be hidden amongst such barren mountains?
23. Evie's back! Yay! *hugs ya* Two of my guyfriends are kind of like that... One of them always hugs me everday, and hugs me from behind everyday. My other guyfriend has hugged me in the pool before. I think he was trying to dunk me, but he hugs me often too. o.o; I don't think you should just tell him straight out, or ask him like, 'Do you like me?'. It might just be his way of being friendly... Although, if you're really worried, get a friend or cousin to ask him for you. ^_^ *hides from Celia*
24. All of your banners so far have been really neat. ^^ Your last Inu Yasha one was really funny too. *throws a marshmellow atcha* I like the border around them. That makes the two really match. ^^ I like the character on your avi. It looks really cute in that picture. ^_^ Soo... are they the same character?

Help

By any chance... did you change your e-mail address? When I changed mine, I got the same message until I found out I had to activate it again. ^_^; Maybe you should check your e-mail just in case. :whoops: I don't think you would've been purposely banned. Your status is still the same, and your posts still appear. Or maybe it's the same that happened to Mist. She got deactivated for a few days, but it was really some sort of glitch... Check your e-mail just in case!!
