She replied gently, gesturing to the wood. "There is a spring there. You are to fill a vase with the water there." Li's glance shot up, her eyes oddly fixed on Laitina. She brushed herself off as she rose and walked over to her. "Fill a vase with water? That's the-..." Li paused and looked over the goddess suspiciously. "Wait. There's something in there, isn't there?" Laitina smirked, as her eyes narrowed and brightened. "There may." She replied. "You must find your way to the spring. I will use the water for the remaining test. But first, you should get some rest. Here, come with me." Laitina turned around, and headed back towards Platina, stopping once and waiting for the others to follow.[/color] [/size]

[color=deeppink] [size=1]There's no need to be worried about it, Nim. ^_^ I've lived in Ten/Nine different cities in Five different countries now, and I've really liked each of them. ^_^ All of them are at least 100-3,280 miles separated, and it's actually been a great experiance. Here's a few suggestions as you move in. 1) Don't try to make friends too quickly. There's no need to push making friends. ^_^ 2) Don't be afraid to make new friends. People are usually very nice to newer people, and don't make fun of them like they do in movies and T.V. shows. :rolleyes: 3) Teachers will help you get adjusted as well. Who knows? You may end up top of the class. ^_- 4) A new house is actually harder to get adjusted to. But don't worry. You'll end up feeling right at home immediately. 5) Don't try to blend in too much with the other kids. Just be yourself, and they'll respect you for that. 6) Don't ever talk too much about where you're from. I know you'd really, really want someone to talk about this to, but as you're starting off, this isn't exactly the best way to start. "Although, I wish the best." Laitina sighed, as she continued up the hill. In her heart, she already felt the tall trees of her forest fall, the leaves crackle and burn at the wrath of merciless industry and fire. She felt the image of her spring disappear. The gentle flow of the river, the calm breeze. It all felt so far away. She glanced at the sky, the clouds seemly painted by the sun. It helped clear her mind. As so did the company of Kato. Then another thought struck her. What would she do if her forest disappeared? Where would she go? Just then, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned immediately, all her thoughts disappearing. "Calm down. Don't worry so much." He reassured, smiling then heading towards a tree. Laitina let out another sigh, relaxing a little and following him. "I guess you're right." "No one leaves the forest once they have entered." She hissed, her gentle voice growing cold. "The forest is enchanted. Those who leave without offerings to the gods will not leave the forest safely." Li chuckled, and crossed her arms. "Looks like an ordinary forest to me." She replied, glancing at her surroundings. "The Forbidden Forests form a triangle throughout the wood. There is Platina, my forests, Arhm'gul, across the bridge where demons, orcs, and creatures of shadow exist, Carias, the wood we are in now, and Sara'dum, the eastern part of the wood. These forests have guardians over them all. They are watching even as we speak." Diuri looked up, and stared uneasily at the trees. He didn't like the feeling of the trees, and he heard a voice echo throughout the branches of the trees. "What kind of offerings?" He asked, rising. "We carry no trinkets." Laitina's eyes eased, as her gentle warmth returned. "The gods do not seek trinkets, my lord." She replied. "All they need is for those who enter to pass a test. Then they will let you pass."[/color] [/size]

[color=deeppink] [size=1]Laitina started up the stairs, after placing the vase back in place. She hesitated suddenly, and turned around. There was a scent in the air. Something unnatural... something unfamiliar. She turned and stepped down the stairs, silently walking to a statue that marked the boundary of her sacred forest. She looked down, and saw two figures about, and many others lying on the ground. She eyed one figure to her left, which was where the scent had come from. [i]"He must be a new race."[/i] She thought, leaning over and studying him carefully. She placed a hand on the statue, and stepped down from her place. Laitina's silver-blue eyes pierced at the two. She put a hand in the air as a chill ran down their spines, causing them to stop in place. "You have entered the boundary of the Forbidden Forests." Laitina said, her voice gentle. "It is forbidden to those who do not bring good fortune to the wood." Li turned around, and stared at her oddly. "What is your business here?" Laitina implied, her eyes narrowing at the two strangers.[/color] [/size]

[color=deeppink] [size=1]Latina felt footsteps in the earth. Some human, some immortal. She moved her palm slowly over the water, ripples beginning to form once more. The mirror showed men holding torches, running helplessly throughout the winding forest, right outside hers. They were less than a league away, and were growing closer, and closer. Then she saw what was chasing them. Mindless, reckless demons, hissing and grunting as they made their way onto the flesh of the men close by. She felt a strange thing amongst her forest as well. Something she had never felt the presence of before. She focused more closely on the demons, peering at the creatures as the mirror grew closer to the demons. She studied a marking on their necks. An eye with some form of heirogliphics was printed there. Laitina waved her palm over the water once more, the water disappearing to smoke as she moved away from the well. My favorite songs would have to be... 1) What's Luv: Fat Joe featuring Ashanti 2) Unfoolish 3) Happy I don't remember hearing 'what's luv' as much as 'foolish' on the radio... It was crazy how they would play two songs, then 'foolish', two more songs, than 'foolish'. They did that for one whole weekend. @_@;;;;[/color] [/size]

The rock began to beam, its light now lighting up the whole cavern. The light pierced through the walls of the cavern, sending a light straight up into the heavens, through the grey clouds of dawn. Trini's eyes returned to normal, her hair falling back down into place. Everything else seemed to turn, as if she were in the eye of a hurricane. She took a step up towards the stone, and looked down where a small screen appeared. It began switching from pictures of all sides of the island, and in the skies of the boundaries of the triangle. She jolted her hand above the screen, which stopped the moving picture immediately. She leaned closer to the picture, as the picture zoomed in for her. She saw a picture of a young man, and a few others sitting at the shore. She moved her hand slowly to the left, to see another odd object, long in size, monsterous in height. Trini took a step away from the screen, as the whirls subsided, and the light dimmed instantly. What was it?[/color] [/size]
