[color=deeppink] [size=1]Asuri glanced around at the dorm. It wasn't as small as she had expected. In fact, it had a familiar home-feeling to it. She placed her bags down neatly by her bed, and walked around to check the rest of the room. She opened the closet, and glanced around. Asuri turned around, and walked to the bathroom, and looked around as well. It seemed clean enough. The sink was neatly arranged already, with a few soap bottles and towels already hung up for them. Asuri smiled, and sat down on her bed. "Excited?" Asuri asked eagerly, leaning forward. Ken turned around, and faced her oddly. "About tomorrow. Aren't you anxious?" Ken shrugged and nodded once, opening his suitcase and beginning to unpack. [/color] [/size]

[color=deeppink] [size=1]Laitina stepped lightly, her bare feet silent apon the grass. She held a long, silver pitcher at her chest, looking straight forward. Her dress blew slowly at the gentle morning breeze, as the only sound heard was the soft swaying of the trees. It was serene. Everything was calm. Just as it had been for generations. This was her home. The tall, strong trees protected the borders of the thick wood. Her home was in the center of the forest. A small, ancient mist spring. The weather was always cool there. Ancient markings on the bark of the trees were said to keep the climate the same there. So the plants and water there would be enchanted with the power to heal and treat wounds. Laitina poured the water from the vase softly, the water elegantly landing in the mirror, which was shaped like a bowl. The mirror wouldn't work without the water, and only with the water from the spring. She placed her hand far above the water, and closed her eyes. [i]"Amun' ast'ili' hasta"[/i] She whispered, ripples slowly beginning to form. She gently removed her hand from its postition, and watched as the water began to form a picture. A picture so vivid, it felt like a dream... The water showed a small, leather coated book, with an eye in the center. It began to shake, and eventually began to glow. It changed to a different picture, and showed a few people, wearing necklaces and armor, sheathing weapons. She leaned over, and narrowed her eyes at the peoples' faces, trying to make out their faces. Each of their faces were hidden in shadow. The future of these items were uncertain... Those who would claim them were yet to be decided.[/color] [/size]

[color=deeppink] [size=1]It's really sad how children get abused everyday... It's really sad, and it's aerlly upsetting how very few of these cases are seriously taken. As far as those children go... I've heard much worse. Although, one time my cousin and I were at home alone for a weekend, (me, eleven at the time, my cousin, twelve). He nearly set the house on fire while trying to make 'dinner'. We had cereal for the weekend. ^_^;;;;[/color] [/size]

"The birds cannot reach the mountains. The winds are too strong fourty leagues south." Ryan stated, his wise voice firm. "Then it is settled." Abob concluded, rising from his seat. "We leave at dawn." The others rose as well, clamoring amongst themselves. Suddenly, a scraping, ear-splitting shriek was heard in the air. Everyone's faces grew pale. Creature sounds so...so... beast-like. oO; ---------- Laitina placed the vase on one of the steps, and snapped her fingers, as the water in the mirror immediately disappeared. She followed the wraith, and stood by a tree that marked the boundary of her small forest. "You seem to be searching for someone." Laitina said, her fingers gently touching a branch. "Or something..." Apoc turned, and stared at her oddly, turning from the outside. "A scent." He replied. "It's coming from over there." Laitina's eyes turned to a bushel of low trees along the border. Her eyes slanted as she stared at the tree uneasily. "And why, might I ask are you following this? Following a scent? Sounds alot like mischeif to me..."[/color] [/size]

Her voice sounded really great in the sub and dub, and they both really seemed to fit. I like her kick-*** personality, and how she messes up sometimes, and gets mad/upset about it. Although... I did like her better in the anime than the manga.[/color] [/size]

A powerful mirror she could use to forsee things yet to come, thing that had already been, and some that were happening, but only as shadows. She dipped her fingers in the water, and sprinkled some powder into it. Immediately, the water began to ripple as an image appeared on the surface of the water. She stepped up, and faced the mirror, her silver-blue eyes sharp and anxious, yet calm and gentle. The water's ripples began to show an image. She stopped suddenly, and striked the water with her palm, destroying the image. She heard a rustle in the leaves, a breath taken. Someone was watching her.[/color] [/size]

[color=deeppink] [size=1]Trini's eyes flickered as she lit the last candle to the cavern walls. Her home. She placed a few sphere gems in a circle around her, and unraveled a scroll on the floor. Just then, a phoenix flew inside, its crimson wings seeming as if they were on fire. "The gods are predicting something, Kihiri." Trini said out loud, busily placing smaller gems on parts of the map. "Something's coming to the island." The phoenix landed gracefully by the map, and let out a high-pitched scream. He shifted to a more comfortable position as he stared over at Trini. "The gods are unsure of these visitors." She continued. He extended his neck and tapped her with his beak. It was sharp, yet it did not cut her as he tapped her palms. Trini looked up, and Kihiri dropped a small, ruby stone in her hand. Trini grinned, and walked further into the cave. It was one of the Seeing-stones, which would allow her to see a glimpse of another part of the islands. She placed the gem in the center of a triangle, and placed her right hand above it. She closed her eyes, and checked the area to make sure nothing was close by. She felt something small, yet quite alive in the distance. [i]"It won't reach us for three days."[/i] She thought. [i]"It's probably a mouse anyway."[/i] She opened her eyes, and saw Kato sitting down beside her. He glanced around at the trees, which stood higher up than those of the ones by the spring. He sniffed the air and coughed, quickly holding his breath. "What's that smell!?" Kato exclaimed, pulling away from the log. Laitina smelled the air, and glanced behind them. "It's coming from over there, isn't it?" Kato implied, pointing at a small curve of smoke in the air. Kato leaned over by the tree, and stood at the peak of the cliff. "Something's burning." Laitina rose and walked over to Kato. She leaned over and saw the fire as well. "It's unfamiliar to me... what does it smell like?" Kato smelled the air once more, and coughed at the scent. "Some sort of...furnice."[/color] [/size]
