[color=deeppink] [size=1]I've joined an html boards.. ^^ It's another VB board that's pretty clean, and the people there are pretty friendly, too. ^_^ I joined because I really needed to start learning some html sooner or later, and I decided a forum would be pretty nice to start. ^^ It's pretty nice there, since the people are so nice to newbies, and the older members are really nice in explaining the rules, too. They seem to have a pretty friendly staff too. Even though I've joined alot of other boards, the otakuboards are definately my favorite boards and website. Nearly everyone here's been very friendly, and great to talk to. It feels alot as if I know alot of you irl, since we're a pretty open/close community here. ^_^ I think I remember visiting the old OB around V2... I never joined though, well... Yes, I know it's all in Japanese, but the pictures are pretty neat! ^^ I'm a big SNK fan. I have all the King of Fighters games starting 91' all the way to 02'. I usually choose Athena, Mary, Kyo, and Kasumi/Xiang Fei in the pc/arcade version, but since half of those characters are unavailable for GC, I select Athena, Kyo, and Nakoruru instead. ^^ I agree with the graphics. The graphics are much better than the one that was out for ps2. Much better. It's actually made its way to one of my top three favorite fighting games. [color=deeppink] [size=1]Hmm... 2002 has actually been my best year so far. Maybe except for my parents separating and all, but other than that, it's been a year definately worth remembering. The only thing I'm upset about is how I keep crying about missing my mom, and how I wish they never divorced this year. It doesn't feel as complete around the house without a mom and dad. Just...dad. But he fills in a few spots, so I don't have to keep my mind on it as often. Whoo...back on subject... I've met some incredible people this year, not to mention find the OB, and a few other websites I really like. ^^ The end of seventh grade was really great, since all of my teachers were so nice that year. I was pretty content with my grades last year too, straight A's which I'm really starting to miss... The summer was really fun, since I met some really great friends there, and got the chance to browse San Francisco a little more than I would've if I never actually went to the YMCA. The beginning of this school year's been fun too. I have great friends, icl and irl. I've survived half a school year, and it's been a pretty fast year. ^_^[/size] [/color]

She felt him close, his energy dropping and rising after every breath he took. Her eyes snapped open as she turned around quickly, blasting an orb of fire behind her. She coughed blood as a jolt of striking impact struck her in the stomach, falling to her knees against the cold stone floor. Her eyes glared at the wall he had been standing in. He was behind her now, ready to strike again. "You disappoint me, Laitina. I was expecting better from you." The voice hissed, sending a chill up her spine. Laitina chuckled under her breath, pulling at a small handle at her belt. "And what is expected of me?" She said smoothly. "I had no idea you were so impatiant about death." She whirred around quickly, sweeping her left leg under the figure's legs. The figure leaped instantly, revealing its face from within the shadows. He swept his hand at her face ferociously, leaving a cut on Laitina's cheek. Laitina's eyes enraged, as she pulled away from the orc and thrust the sai from her hand, towards the small corner where the man was standing. The steel fell to the floor, the shadow's hiss echoing throughout the walls of the chamber. The figure grasped its arm, and looked back at Laitina. Her fingers were crossed, as a familiar glow shone from her fingers. [i]'Areun Atta...'[/i] The orc leaped towards her, growling with fury. Laitina's eyes glistened. In an instant, she created a circle with her arms, an orb appearing between her palms. In that moment, the orb seperated, revealing an eye as crimson light shone from the orb. She heard the orc's laugh in the distance... He was dead.[/size] [/color]

Since it's not exactly a [i]series[/i], you really need to see the first one to understand the characters, situations, events, and even alot about the ring itself. I'm so glad I had enough time before the movie to show my friend important parts of the first. We had to go as soon as the first on ended though. Although... I only shortened like, twenty minutes of it. o_o You know, Bilbo's party, Bilbo's leaving, alot of scenes of Moria, [spoiler](except the bridge/'no tossing a dwarf' part, of course. ^_-[/spoiler], the mountains, the industry, alot of battle scenes, [spoiler]since you get enough of that in the second movie ^^[/spoiler]. For the people who haven't seen either of the movies yet, you have to see the first one to get the second one. ^_^;[/size] [/color]
