Celestine grit her teeth, and clasped her arms around her as she sat in the fire, feeling the wielding flames surround her. She hung her head, and sighed, taking a deep breath and shivering. She looked up, and she saw a figure standing in front of her. She was watching patiantly, her arms crossed. Celestine looked back down, and sighed, Tarlain's words echoing in her head. Her muscles untensed, and relaxed. She calmed down, and tried her best not to think of the flames harmful, but helpful amongst her training. Again, the thoughts came. Her mother, father, everything that was happening all so suddenly. Celestine drew another deep breath, and took the thoughts out of her mind once more. That was the past, now it was time to think of her future. In that instant, the flames disappeared around her. Sprialing down into where they had begun. The woman reached out a hand to her, and helped her up, her thin lips smiling at her. The woman eyed her, walking slowly around her as her wings folded back behind her. She placed a finger on her chin, and nodded. "A celestial, I presume." The woman said, still looking over the White elf. Celestine nodded, and gulped. She wasn't too sure of what to say to her. "Hold still." She said, placing a finger on Celestine's forehead. Celestine obeyed, and closed her eyes. A jolting spark came from her fingers, causing Celestine to jump back, and fall in responce. She rubbed her head, still startled by the jolt. "Hmm..." She said simply, still circling her. "A dragoret sent you here..." The woman paused, and looked up at the walls of the cave. "Tarlain?" Celestine's eyes grew large, as she stumbled back up. "Yes." Celestine replied. "You're Innana, right?" The woman chuckled, and bowed back in responce. "How rude of me not to introduce myself." She chuckled, "Yes, I am Innana."
Originally posted by Final Flash Snider? Don't you mean Strider? lol.
Gah! *edits post* Renting it on vhs was hella hard for me. It's not as easy as just walking into Blockbust and finding it either. We were really lucky to find one last one put back up on the shelf. Before that, we went about four times to find it, and it was always out. I guess it's the same deal as the Star Wars movies... I can't imagine how hard it's going to be to get some tickets for the Two Towers, considering how the first one's even always out at Blockbuster... -
I'm really into the Christmas Spirit thingy... ^_^' Today, I'm going to the metreon, and I'm going to be wearing a lil Christmas Hat, with a white sweater. ^^;; My friends and I wore santa hats to school some of last week, too. It was actually pretty fun. I enjoy Christmas, even though my favorite holidays are Valentine's, and Easter. I think Christmas sprit is the only actual holiday that you can get a real 'spirit' into. It's fun giving and recieving presents, baking cookies, and decorating. I have no clue why I like doing this, but I guess it's just really exciting for me. ^_^
Originally posted by 9Eagle7Dragon Why are you an Otaku?
Otaku as in... Anime Addict? Well, I guess I never really was really into anime, even though I really love alot of Anime. I can't call myself an otaku at all, because I don't even know half as much as the other members here do.
What introduced you to this kind of anime?
Ever since I was little, the only cartoons I saw in the mornings were anime, since I was born in Korea. I saw alot of Sailor moon, Changoo, Dragonball, Inyu Yasha...etc, in Korean before I came to the U.S.. Then my cousin introduced me to more anime, and explained alot to me about the anime I became interested in. Soooo basically, my cousins helped me get into anime more, even though I started to lose interest when I was ten, and I started liking only pokemon and dragonball. I'm starting to get into anime again, because my cousins keep bugging me with anime videos, hints, etc...
What brought you to theOtaku.com?
This is kinda embarrissing, but at first I came here for Pokemon Game Cheats... I was a real fan of Pokemon then, so my friend told me about a site called 'pokecheats.com', and I found myself at 'theotaku.com', and I started to browse around. That was about... two-three years ago.

Ariadne smiled, as rev chuckled at Katiya. He put a hand on her forehead, and pulled his hand away softly. "I'm not sure if asprin is the correct thing to use for this." he said, putting a his hand on his hip. "besides, your tempreture's dropping, so you should feel better soon." Ariadne walked to the counter, and back, carrying a tray and a glass of water. "Here. drink this. this should make you feel better." Ariadne said, placing the tray in front of Katiya. Katiya eyed the water lazily, coughing slightly as she reached for the tray. She sipped the water slowly, like wine from a crystal glass. She smiled weakly, as she sank back into the bed, closing her eyes. Katiya yawned, and flipped the covers back over her head. "Do I have to go to class tomorrow?" Katiya asked from under the covers, her voice muffled. Rev chuckled, and placed his hands in his pocket. "I guess not. Just try too feel better soon, ok?" Katiya nodded from the covers, and sank deeper in the bed. She sighed in relief, and squirmed around in the bed. Rev leaned his head over, and nudged Ariadne. "She needs her rest. We should let her sleep." He whispered. Ariadne nodded, and headed towards the door. Rev looked back at Katiya and sighed. "Coming?" Ariadne called from the door, switching the lights off to the room. Rev glanced once more at his recruit, sleeping peacefully, and turned around, his hands still in his pocket. "yeah."

Celestine crawled towards another tree, stopping drastically as the snout of the best poked out from the opposite end of the tree. Celestine crawled the other way, sinking low as she crawled behind a log. She stepped lightly, ignoring the rustling of leaves nearby. Just then, the beast rose onto two legs. with one step, the floor beneath her trembled, its weight vibrating onto the dirt ground. The floor felt cold, and the air was damp. Celestine moved back, and put one hand on top of the fallen log, as she glared at the tree where the beast was walking. she couldn't breathe. her throat felt numb, and her head was aching as the beast grew nearer. As it turned around, Celestine gasped at the sight of its face. Distorted, ugly... fit for a beast. She quivered at the sight of its teeth, marked with blood, and dented with flesh. This was definately not good... The creature breathed, as a mist clouded out of its nostrils, grunting as it glanced around. as it began to turn away, Celestine put her hands together, and whispered the same spell as she had done earlier, as two orbs slowly formed within her palms. The beast felt it. She knew. It glared at her directly, its eyes piercing her own. Terrified, celestine screamed as she let go of the orbs, and began to walk back to the camp. The beast walked to where she had been sitting, and sniffed the air around him. Celestine took another step back, and the creature's eyes shot up, and looked over at her. She inhaled, and bent down. Celestine picked up a rock, and threw it far away from her, hitting a tree in the distance. It turned to where the tree had been hit, and began stampeding toward it. She picked up her hands towards her face, all but her two index fingers crossed. "a'ga lene n' atta" She whispered, eyeing the direction of the beast. "a'ga lene n' atta" she whispered louder, repeating it louder and louder each time. A blue wind swept up behind her, twirling and twisting up, lifting her hair in every direction. She eyes snapped open, as a spark of saphirre twinkled from her fingertips. The wind swept towards the beast's direction, turning more and more visible as the wave of ice and wind roared above the forest. She watched the wave collapse, as the wind subsided. She heard a jolting roar from above, that was silenced with a second roar of wind. Then, she blanked out...

I was wondering, I think it would make things a little more convienient if we could attatch files into our pm's. ^_^' That way, we wouldn't have to go to another website, wait for the page to load, wait for the attatchment to attatch, just to send one picture to a member on the boards. (especially if they're using a modem). just a suggestion. ^_^

Gah! Now I have the stupid song stuck in my head again... Every morning, my dad turns the T.V. on to either VH1 or MTV, and that song is like, on every morning, at 8:45. I end up having the chorus of the song stuck in my head all day, and sometimes I've actually caught myself humming it. I tried singing it while I was home alone, and it turned out to be pretty fun to sing. ^_^ Thanks for the Lyrics, btw.

Lucky. - - If it snows in San Fran, we're all dead. Simple as that. With all the hills, the whole city would be some huge roller coaster. Besides, it's the same weather here all year, average 58-degrees I think... It doesn't matter anyway. ^_^ I'm going to Dallas, TX for Christmas week, to go see my mom and friends. It's colder there than it is here, prolly around 40-48 degrees. Of all the days I decided not to wear a sweater, which I usually do, it rained yesterday, and by the time the bus came, it looked as if I just stepped out of the shower. I was wearing a white shirt too >
Originally posted by PiroMunkie You have to love those Transcendentalists.
Transce-wha... *flips through dictionary, then adds word to tounge-twister list* I personally don't think it makes to much ova difference, depending on what kind of shows you watch, what websites you go to, etc. Some T.V. shows actually helped me alot with past school experiences, and overcoming them, and ever since I started RP'ing, and reading other peoples' posts here on OB, my Language Arts grades have been shooting up, along with my social studies and Computer classes. Alot of discussions here help me alot with school, since alot of the topics here are based on real-life topics that deal with the things happening now. Our math teacher showed our class a small chart of hours spent watching T.V., surfing the internet..etc, and the average GPA of students that spend that much time doing something else. I was pretty surprised to see my last GPA was exactly about what the sheet said. My GPA last trimester was a 3.4, and it said, '7 hours' above it. And actually... that was true. Then, this trimester, I got a 3.8, and it said '4 hours', when I actually spent alot more than that... I guess it just depends on the person, their way of learning, and which way is more comfortable to them. Everyone's different, so watching T.V., etc... might not affect them at all, or change their grades/intellegance..etc completely.

oooo I just saw it on vhs an hour ago. ^_^ *checks clock* Umm... make that 1:23... Anyway, I thought it was awesome. My dad told me it was really boring, and he was very disappointed with it, but I was pretty surprised. All the stabbing kinda threw me off though. o_o' Anyway, I'm soooo glad I got to see it, and surprisingly enough, it made my top three list already. The other ones on my list I've seen about four-five times at the movie theaters. I just love alot of the movies that have to do with that time period. The graphics were awesome, and the movie had me frozen the whole time. Since the tv with the vcr's in front of the bed, I was in a pretty uncomfortable position... but I couldn't move anyway. o_o' Also, I think I'm in love with Legolas along with Lauren and Asuka... @_@' I just noticed how good Orlando Bloom looked in the movie comapred to what I saw of him at the 2001 mtv movie awards. *Goes back into room and watches it a second time* -
Anime Cartoon Network Line-Ups...and anime on television announcements
Juu replied to Syk3's topic in Otaku Central
My neighborhood doesn't get Cartoon Network, and I'm hella mad about it too... I'm stuck with renting videos from the Kinyokunia in Japantown, and I have to pay 2 dollars for about 3-5 days of rent. I'm glad CB hasn't been knocked down, and I guess my cousin would be pretty happy to know Trigun's going to start soon... ^_^ -
I know how you feel, my dad's the exact same way with my grades. I was grounded for a week last trimester, because I made a 3.4 on my GPA. He said a B wasn't good enough to get me to Lowell'... blah blah... I was really upset, because he would just stress me about making better grades. He kept comparing my grades now, to my grades in Texas. He keeps saying, "You made straight A's then, why can't you do it anymore?" As soon as he left, the only thing I could think about was how much I wanted to move back to Texas, where at least one of my parents would be a little more encouraging. I decided to stay, but my dad seemed to have lost a little more confidence in me, just because I made three B's. I kept telling him, a B isn't that badova grade. He still said he understood, even though it was obvious he didn't. My friend's going through the same problem as I am, and her mom is stressing her into getting into a Lowell High... etc. She and I both went up four points in our GPA, but both of our parents aren't home yet... We're basically going through the same thing here... except I think three B's kinda gave me a little different perspective of my dad...

Name: Orochi Anime: King of Fighters Info: Orochi is a god from hell, who was hidden behind the secret quarters of the King of Fighters Tornament. He was to destroy the champions of the match, so no one would be able to stop him when he wiped out the earth and turned it to an identical hell. Why: He's satan's main man, and he carries out his orders to destroy Kyo Kusangi when he reaches the top. Sooo... he's reincarnated several times into his normal body, but each time his powers get stronger. Also... He was supposed to bring a guy to the top, then knock him down afterwards. o_O Not to mention he actually looks like an evil god from the underworld sent to kill the main char, but then gets killed again, and-... erm... ^^;;;

Hmm... Well I'm glad you told us Shy. ^_^ I never looked at you any differently, and don't expect us to look at you, treat you any different than you are now. It's okay to be gay, I mean, I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of... Just don't feel bad about it, and don't look at it in such a bad way. If your friends have a problem with you being gay, it's their loss of a great friend. Besides, they would be your friend for who you are. I think you should tell them, but when the time is right for you.

I'm basically myself here on the boards, except I'm alot less outgoing, and much quieter, excpept when I'm around my guyfriends, since we like to tease each other often... *cough* I prefer talking pretty fast, and avoid bigger words except during science and Language arts. Buuuut... basically, I'm pretty much the same here as I am in real life. ^^

It's November 25 ^_^ I think.... I forgot so much it's embarrising. ^^;; It's actually pretty hard to imagine Pilgrams and indians in Australia...
