I live in San Francisco (about a five minute walk from the Golden Gate Bridge - the nicer view), but I'm in Houston, Texas visiting my mom on holiday. I've been all over, though. My favourite place has been Denmark, and I hope to live there or in England after college and the lot. San Francisco's fantastic, though. Love the atmosphere, and the people. Diversity always helps, too.

My favourite place to go would have to be Denmark. It's closest to heaven for me, and just the tone of green of the grass there is really breathtaking. Just the atmosphere is wonderful, and I really hope I can live there again. =D We've lived in ten cities, five countries, on three continents, but it's odd how we haven't really traveled around the place I was born (Korea). I haven't been to Japan, Hong Kong, China, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia... etc. Which would be fun. We've mainly been all over the northwestern bit of Europe, but I'd love to visit Italy, Luxembourg, Greece, Russia, and the lot. Usually, if we visit Europe, it's to Denmark, Norway, England, Holland, or Germany. ! Oh, and we still haven't been to Scotland or Ireland. Want to drop by to those also. >.> Uhm, and we've been all over the states. 46 total, and of all the traveling we've done, still no Hawaii. We were to go to the Camen Islands (yesh, it belongs to the UK but I mean a tropical island-ish place) before, but there was some problem with my dad's visa and we couldn't go. Also, I don't remember ever going to New York City. We're going to the east coast sometime in March, so hopefully we can drive up there as well. But blah. I really want to visit Australia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and erm, Antarctica. ._.; It's all fun. I love traveling more than anything but I loathe planes. I've been on at least 4 plane trips (there and back) per year since I was three (two per before that), so I guess it's good reason? I hate the food and ear-poppingness. >.> OH and how there's always someone behind you who could probably be a soccer/football champion due to their astounding ability to kick your seat for an entire ten hour flight, AND how the person next to you either farts a lot or has extremely bad breath. [/rant] ssankyoo. >>;

I'm turning fourteen in May. I joined when I was 11-ish, lied my age and said I was 13 then. Don't really care, though. There's plenty of 20+ year-olds who still tYp3 leIk dIz bEcUz dEy tiNk i7 b dA sHiez wOt INNIT AHAHAH' etc. >.> Okay, so maybe not to that extent but erm. Right. Eh, but yeah. I've been around for three years officially in May, though I wasn't allowed on OB during the last year due to family issues (-_-). I'm back, though, but I'm not quite sure how long I'll stick around...

Thanks for the comments. =) Here's a few more that I'm actually a lot more happier with than the last batch. Here they are: 'Tribuary' 'Daylight' 'Others' 'Rejuvination' 'Hate This and I'll Love You' Yip. Not too many of them. I post up my favourite snapshots in my bloggeh, and there's about three times as much posted there when I've got pictures. ...Not exactly exciting for modem users, my page. x.x

I went to a gig with them in it just a few days ago! They're overwhelmingly amazing live, and their charisma is just mindblowing. x.x I've got a few video recordings and a full mp3 recording of their act if anyone's interested. :) Anyway, my favourite songs from them are 'Michael' (eee!!), 'Tell Her Tonight', 'Take Me Out', 'The Dark of the Matinee', and 'Jacqueline'. They gave us a new one that was quite good also. It had 'young' as part of the title, but I'll have to listen to the recording again. =x
-
I heard they weren't too great live. But erm... 'You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison' and 'Headfirst for Halos' is nice. I've only heard a few songs from them, though. Their style doesn't quuuite tickle my fancy, eh. >.>

Eh. Just.. more. I've been running a tad short on inspiration. ._.; Difficult to capture without a tripod, also. I've been using boxes and desks for all this time now, but they can't tilt angles too well. >>; 'Take Me Out' - So if you're lonely, you know I'm here waiting for you... 'Sympathy' 'Loves Me Not' Eh. Yeah. >_>; New ones possssssssibly around the corner. Just have to get them to the point where I actually like them. =x This next one's in the works. I HATE how I did the brushes on the bottom, so herrrrrrrg. -.....-; Thinking of scrapping and trying a new photo in general. Riiight here. Brace yourselves. -_-
However, I did hear that they had put on American accents for some gigs and were considering it for their CDs - or something along those lines. If that's true my opinion of the band would certainly change, heh.
Arr. No worries. At Not-So-Silent-Night, they kept their accentage. =]

What would you classify your clothing style as?
Juu replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
I'm not too big on clothes when it comes to school. If I wanted people to approach me who judged by where someone buys their clothes, it could easily be done. But *shrugs* since this year, I just can't be arsed most of the time to wear something that isn't comfortable but looks good. I've lost a few friends because of it, actually, but they were the ones who weren't always there for me anyway. I just wear whatever I feel like wearing. If it's a cold day, I'll wear a sweater, etc. Lately, I've been swapping back and fourth from about five different wardrobes, but no one's come up to me and pointed out that I've been wearing similar things. It's fun to draw/'recycle' clothes, though. I drew on my favourite jeans during drama, and decourated an old tank at a random point during the summer. But there are days where I do feel like dressing up, of course. ~_~; -
Well, first off, I love singing. Not sure if I'm any good at it, but my best friend's mom offered me a record deal audition last year... which I turned down. But for some odd reason, I haven't been singing as much as I used to. I guess it has to do with the fact that I live in a San Francisco flat, and all the neighbours' windows are pretty much less than two feet away from ours. X_X; Arr. And I just started electric guitar lessons three months ago, so it's been a lot of fun erm, attempting to play and sing at the same time. So, just music overall. I love photography. *points to clickable banner* Especially since I just recently got a better camera. Until about two years ago, I've always wanted to become a photographer. So, during the time after I threw our first camera into a lake, we'd buy a disposable camera every week (and we've still got about twenty undeveloped ones left). Then we bought a really crap 2 megapixel fuji, and after my friend slammed that one on the concrete, we bought a 4 megapixel Canon S410. Well, it's an improvement. >>; I take it everywhere - as boring the place may seem, because the best photo oppertunities seem to turn up in the weirdest situations. Acting is also fun. Just goes hand-in-hand with performing on stage, basically (singing and whatnot). The feeling of being on stage is just exhilarating. Writing is fun, too. But rather blog-like than story-type. Writing stories is frustrating for me because I can never, ever bring one to an end. Starting stories are fun, but finishing... eh. Hmm. Oh, going out and about with close friends is also great, but 'close' being the key word. I tend to be rather standoffish with newish people most of the time, but otherwise, it's a blast. *thinks* Besides those, I guess I'd have to say traveling. Our family (dad, mom, me) is really big on travel, and we've moved to a new city/state/country/continent every three years maximum, and I don't think there's been a single year where we were in the same state, or three years in the same country. I love culture, and people-watching, basically. Can't really imagine being in the same place for a long period of time. =x Lastly, being lazy. Just curling up/sleeping whenever/flopping around/etc. Everybody loves that. ~.~;
Juuthena - what/who is bruno? *tilts head*
Yesh. Bruno = Juu's first puppy. He was a Manchester Terrier, and extremely, extremely fiesty. >>; Super cute, though. I just walked out of the shower, and there he was. My dad brought him all the way up from Galveston, and at the time, I was obsessed with dogs. ...Er, but we didn't name him. He was already six months old by the time we bought him, and the owner said that's the only name he'd respond to.

Interesting. o.o I'd have to say my two favourites are 'Words on the Wall' and 'Sunflowers'. I love how the humbleness yet livelyness of the flowers contrasts from the foilage around it. As for 'Words on the Wall', it's just a very cool, busy piece, and there's much to look at. It would be neat if you posted up the original images, though. Just for comparison.
Wow, sans[/i'] Taking Back Sunday that is a really kick *** lineup. IS this a whole tour, or is it some sort of festival, because I'd be very interested in going if it came anywhere near Texas.
It's just for San Francisco. :) Erm, it's a radio show for 105...something, and it's called 'Not So Silent Night'. I thought there was something about a 'Not So Silent Night' in Texas as well, but I'm pretty positive that they're not featuring the same bands. There's also a similar line-up for LA, only Keane, Snow Patrol, and Jimmy Eat World are also involved. Can't make it to that one, though. It's on Dec 11 - the very next day. =X And I haven't heard any songs from Taking Back Sunday, so er. o_o;

Mmmmmmkay. It was a three-way tie between Kane, Ben, and TigerVX, but I'm going to have to say....... Ben! Each of those three in particular made me laugh, though. Cheers to everyone who captioned anywho. :) (Don't hurt me Solo. Or Ben. ._.)

My favourite Christmas carol (ish) would have to be 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' sang by Chris Martin from Coldplay. Very soft and warm. _>; It was caught on tape by God knows how many parents, as well.

Nice usage of diffuse glow on the two of you. I think it sets the mood nicely, and my only suggestion would be to try smoothing the edges a tiny bit with eraser brush. But your expressions are great. ^_^ 'Your Usual Day' is a fun photo. The manipulation really adds an unusual sense of humour into it as well, and the bright colours really do add to it very well. 'Blurry Atmosphere' and 'Out There' seem to represent very similar moods. Rather like you're eager and glowing with curiosity and ideas on the inside, but being held back to express it full-on. 'Charcoal Bucket' is just plain out cool. I am curious to see the original version, though. The entire position and crooked boards in the back make it look interesting without manipulation, I think. But it was a nice choice to make it greyscale. Suits the feeling of lonliness rather well.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory: Gene Wilder is simply brilliant in the role of the chocolate maker from Dahl's children's novel. I learned recently that it's over 25 years old at this stage and Johnny Depp is to start as Wonka in a remake of the film that's due out in the next year of so.
Oh yeah, that's a great film. I found some pictures of the upcoming remake, and that looks pretty spiffy as well. Especially with Tim Burton as the director. Should be spectacular. :) My favourite would have to be Love Actually. Not too many of my friends enjoyed this film, but it's one of my favourites. It's a bit slow at the beginning, but I love the sense of humour and the ensamble just makes it work. Laughed a lot, and it was overall pretty memorable to me. And I don't know if Moulin Rouge counts, really, but I always find myself watching it 2931809823 times over during the winter. It's my top movie, and just warming for the wintertime. If you haven't seen it, you must rent it, or it'd be a perfect gift. ^_^;

I like the second one in particular. Nice choice on colours, and I love the little spotty effect there. Sweet, too. I'm sure your girlfriend loves it. ^_^ *points* The faded mermaids in the first one are cool as well.

Well, my dad and I paid our first visit to the cinema in months, and this was a very nice welcome back. :) The feeling of this film is very similar to Big Fish, but, the director of both films being Tim Burton, it wasn't *too* much of a surprise. The casting was perfect, in my opinion, and the acting was great. Especially the boy Peter. Honestly, if any oscars are given out from this film, I think he deserves it. Very touching in the end, and just magical overall. Has anyone else seen this film? Or, do you want/not want to, and why?
Your photography is astounding, you've done an amzing job manipulating it aswell. May I ask what program do you use? I've currently got Photoshop CS (got it today) and I used to use Photoshop 5.5. On track now, my favourite's would have to be: 'As Heaven Is Wide/True Love Waits' 'I Wish I Was Perfect' 'This World' And last but certainly not least... 'Gravity' They all dig deep into emotion. And this is an excellent thing to be able to do, I've just began working on Photography, and I know it will take alot of practise to get this far. Good Luck with all your photography, and I hope to see more up soon ^__^
Why thank you! *hugs* I'm very glad the emotion comes across. *most important* I use Adobe Photoshop 6. For the webcammy ones, I had to use GIMP because Adobe wouldn't work for me at the time. Not much manipulation going on, though. Basically it's just diffuse glow and colour balance/curves adjusting. My photoshop knowledge is pretty low, eh. >>;

So, everyone feels stressed/completely knackered at times, so I was just wondering what everyone does to relax. Usually, I just turn on some Coldplay/Radiohead, and lay down in bed, which usually ends up turning into a two-hour nap. (Ehm, time consuming on a school day, but better than scratching at arms with pins. ¬¬) And hopefully, I'll be good enough at guitar soon so I can use an instrument as an outlet. Singing and painting is therapy for me as well. >.>;

Besides procrastinating, I always find myself biting the inside of my cheek. Also, I always paint my nails and scratch it all off during classes. *thinks* Oh, and I draw on anything when I'm bored. Like, one of the tables in the living room is now 1/3 covered with doodling all because of one four hour phone conversation. (Though I usually hate talking on phones.) SO... what are some of your bad habits. Not necessarily bad, but arr. Anywho. >_> [edit:] Hmm. And swearing. And boasting. And dropping expensive electronics.

Cool background. The image and the colours used work well together. :) The font is cool, too, but I can't say I'm a huge fan of that glowy thing... (eee. And I love your avatar, lol.)
I have a few questions/comments. My 1st question is... I can't seem to find another flower, that I can remember, that looks like that. My 2nd and last question... the spider picture, was that taken in your house? Now for the comments. You are still, as I have previously said, a very pretty girl, and if you feel the filters help... so be it. I also can understand how hard it is trying to take pictures with your chin, expecially when no-one is around to help. It looks as if it were a toy that wasn't loved anymore, and was "hung" so that it wouldn't be played with again. sort of weird.:eek:
-_-.... Actually, I have no idea what kind of flower 'Jubilee' is. I just saw it on my way home from school and took a picture. ^_^; *hugs everyone* Thanks so much! But the more I look at 'Silence is Golden' the more I dislike it, eh. >>;
What the world needs: Herbal Essence! LOL.
