I definitely would like to see some episode reviews. The ones I ever get come from my brother, and all of his reviews say how much he hates Outlaw Star, and he doesn't even explain why!!! :( I would really like it if something was done about the episode reviews, and I think ideas 1-4 are also really good, especially #1. ~Luminaire~

My brother and I bought the DVD collection off of Borders online. Here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/002-7503179-0880853 All the eps are on the three DVDs and all of them are unedited, this includes the missing ep 23! ~Luminaire~ :p

Anime OLS: Episode 23, Hot Springs of Planet Tenrei
Luminaire replied to Ryuujin's topic in Otaku Central
I saw that episode, and it could have been put on CN if they edited it a bit. It was a really funny episode! When it originally aired on the Toonami Midnight Run, that episode had been taken off. In the next episode, Gene is showing of his new castor shells, and mentions that they are rare. In an earlier episode Jim says that it is very hard to find even the most common castor shells, and they are expensive. Well, it did not make sense how he suddenly had enough money to buy RARE castor shells, and where he had found them. I think they should have put that episode on with a few edited scenes. I gladly sign your petition!! ~Luminaire~ :p -
For some odd reason these anime creators always go crazy with people's hair. Washu's hair is cool because it is really long. As for the color, I believe the artists ran out of red crayons so they had to use pink crayons. That seems to happen a lot, like black is improvised with green and purple. Anyway, Washu's hair rocks! ~Luminaire~ :p

I have seen every episode at least four times, including an episode banned by Cartoon Network! In the episode where Suzuka is trying to kill Fred Lowe (sp?) Gene interferes and ends up humiliating her. So now she wants to kill Gene for the humiliation. Through the whole series, with the exception of that episode (I don't remember the title), never once does she try to kill Gene. In a whole bunch of episodes she ends up saving his life. Then again, so do Aisha and Melfina. I think she only stuck with the group because Gene was the only one that ever out- smarted her. I also believe she might have small feelings of love towards Gene. But, in the episodes with the space race she actually ditches the rest of the Outlaw Star crew, and goes on vacation. Also, there is the episode Maze of Despair, where she points out she was only using Gene to get revenge on a pirate, and she had noticed the pirates always seemed to be near Gene so she stuck with him for that reason as well. It is true in that episode that she is asked if she is in love with Gene after she tells him to go and find Melfina. She doesn't answer, so I related it back to the episode Grave of the Dragon when Gene and her have a long conversation about Gene's feelings toward Melfina. I believe that she realized how much Gene cared for Melfina, and wanted them to be happy, even if she did have her own feelings for Gene. I think she did have feelings at one point, but then got rid of them when she realized that Gene loved Melfina, she probably hid them so Gene would not realize that she loved him and she was actually jealous of Melfina. This is a theory that I just created now! :D I hope it helped!! By the way, was Aisha only with them because she wanted the treasure from the Galactic Leyline, or were there other reasons? In few episodes she became like a mother-figure for Jim, and in other episodes she saved Gene's life, and in other episodes she allied with Suzuka. Also, I think at one point in the show, she said she also wanted to kill Gene. What's Aisha's connection with Gene? (I hope this isn't considered spamming *sweatdrops*) ~Luminaire~ :p

That is very interesting! I never knew about the Jango/Jaster thing. Maybe I'm not reading very thoroughly. :) *Runs to find book* *finds book, turns to page three* Oh! Mr. Maul is right! It's right in the middle of the conversation. Cool!! I know a new fact! Thanks! ~Luminaire~ :p

JOY? I thought only smart people could go into that. I mean you're in it roxie. I tried to write a poem about someone trying to commit suicide. I wrote it after a friend of mine did do it. My mom found it and since I was writing from my friend's point of view, she thought I wrote the poem from my point of view. That was how I ended up in therapy. I think it is easier to express sad emotions than happy ones, so all my poetry is kinda 'dark' (if you get my meaning). The last poem I wrote was called Tears. Do you guys think I should post it with my suicide one on Otaku or keep them to myself? ~Luminaire~
Originally posted by Empathy You may think its good...but my mom's taking it personally...-_-;;I keep telling her that its through the eyes of another...and some of it is...but she doesnt seem to believe me...the only part of me that feels like this is the me from school...at home I'm at least cared about...maybe even more than my brothers...
Last time I wrote a poem, my mom sent me to a shrink (therapist) because she thought I was depressed. I was afraid she would do it again, so I have to keep my poetry hidden in my wall, so my housekeeper doesn't find it! I swear my mom really wants to get me into therapy for no reason, and the housekeeper is her ally! Anyway, I really like your poem and I think you shouldn't show your poetry to your parents! Hope you decide to write more! ~Luminaire~ :p
Originally posted by Boba Fett Luminare, when Sacred Warrior asked about Epsoide 6, why did you start talking about Epsoide 1??
Well, Sacred Warrior didn't read "ANY" of the books. And, he asked if all the books came after ep. 6. I was just explaining that the more recent books, which are Star Wars books that I mentioned, were written mostly about events before ep.1. Sacred Warrior asked about all books, meaning all the ones you mentioned, plus the ones I mentioned. I thought it was an important detail, so I mentioned it! (I hope I don't sound like a snob!) ~Luminaire~
Originally posted by Sacred Warrior I havent read any of the Star Wars books. Just one question. do all these books continue from Episode 6?
Almost all the Star Wars books are on event from after episode 6. When episode 1 came out, all these new books came containing information about what happened before episode 1 or what happened immediately afterwards. There were a few books out about what did happen in episode 1 and 2, before they ever came out. I hope that was helpful! ~Luminaire~ :p

I agree with HyperShadow. The games were definitely better. And, I never noticed the thing with the Cids. Oh well, I really can't help you that much if you don't even agree with part of my first reply. By the way, I think "space fantasy" can be considered both fantasy and sci-fi. There wasn't a lot of space travel involved in the movie, except the part when Aki and the professor are with that guy (the one Aki likes) are orbiting above the Phantom Crater, and the fact the phantoms came from another planet where Aki's dreams are taking place. I hope that helped!! ~Luminaire~

Sorry I haven't posted the answer! :) Anyway............... if you put Boba Fett's and Son Goten's answers together you get the correct answer. :p Mace Windu chose to use the purple crystal because it is his favorite color! And, because he was the only Jedi to use lightsaber style seven he could create a lightsaber color for the style! I feel so smart! ~Luminaire~

I saw the movie and I liked it a lot! Great graphics, action, and a cool plot. It did have a mix of everything including fantasy. I also played every Final Fantasy game except Anthology. If you played them you would notice none of the game connect to one another. I personally think that some of them were more sci-fi than fantasy. But, that's just my opinion! Did that help you at all? I feel like I'm just babbling! ~Luminaire~

okay I'm having trouble remembering all these answers! I haven't read these books in quite a while. How can you people possibily remember all this?! I've read like all these books and I can't remember any of this! I finished reading all the books I could find on anything after Return Of The Jedi, then again that's really all that really was out because a lot of people didn't know if there was anything before A New Hope. Now, I'm all those Jedi Apprentice books and the books based on the newer movies. By the way, I have a question I bet none of you will know the answer to: Why is Mace Windu the only Jedi with a purple lightsaber (spectrum lightsaber)? ~Luminaire~
