I dun know about any dark goth and/or punk bands...but if you want to annoy someone, play Raffi. Yeah, the children's song guy. Loudly and nonstop.

Frankly, most of y'all wouldn't like them. As I remember, they were all 50x50. And precious few people I've seen lately deign to have a 50x50 avatar. If you want an avatar and can't make one yourself, go to the request forum. That's what it's there for.

Erh, well...people usually post things about the main site in here....it is feedback, really.

It's a beautiful story, in a dark, unfortunate way. My heart's breaking over it. You are a powerful storyteller, Raiha.
Originally posted by PiroMunkie Perhaps you never watched the likes of Barney&Friends? Teletubbies? Vegetales? Spongebob Squarepants is the Superbowl compared to those.
Whoa, whoa, whoa..... Veggietales are awesome! Granted, the Jonah movie was.....weird.... But Bob is cool! And the songs are fun. And the french peas are hilarious. Heh I've never seen SpongeBob. Don't have cable or satellite or anything...and, yeah.

We're not all that bad, Endy. ;P [....Endy? o0;] Yes, I find it rather disturbing. Frankly, I find black lace disturbing in nearly any sitution.

Everyone's posts are showng up in TNR, so I'm assuming that's a default. I was just wondering of there is an option that we can view posts in a different default font, seeing's how I'm not 'specially fond of it. That's all.

Ooh. ^_^ Coolies. If Ginny ever gets kicked outta OBBII.. ::mutters darkly:: Anyhoo. Is the default font for this skin Times New Roman? Mmm. Can we change that in our prof options, or just grin and bear it?

I'll probably go see it with some of my friends some time soon. It sounds like fun, and the first one wasn't terrible--it's fun to see how other people see the characters, as opposed to how I always picture them.

Yeah, but they're cute hamsters running around with peachy cheeks. I don't really watch tv, so I guess I don't have much to say about the state of them these days....tho' if anyone wants to start a conversation about 80's cartoons, well.... ^_^

And James continues to be vague and cryptic about the future. He'd make a great oracle.

:: blinks:: It's....different. Yesh. It doesn't feel like OB, it feels like some other board. As to whether I like it or not.....The jury's till out on that one.

What does 'world bank' mean, exactly? I don't quite understand.

Problem is, it's a bit tricky to get our characters interacting, seeing's how they're complete strangers in different star systems. Anyone got any great ideas for a purely coincidental meeting?

Heh, I noticed that. Mmm, it's been a while since I've read the books. Ginny or Hermione or Lee or Ron...Ginny or Hermione or Lee or Ron..... ::falls over dramatically:: I can't pick! Eeniemeenietippeteenie..... Name: Ginny Weasley House: Gryffindor Year of School: This is her, what...fourth? Kids grow up so fast these days.... :p Personality: Not great in school, but not awful, either. Sorta...innocent. Can lose her temper over small things, sometimes. Appearance: Redhead, freckles Type of wand: o0;; Don't know. Is it really important? Subject Mastered: [What's this mean? Best subject in school/magic?] Misc: Can't think of anything offhand. I'll work on it.

::whines loudly:: I lost three hundred posts. Jay-ames!!! Make it better!!! :bawl: Mm, yah. Anyhoo... I don't think NL ever counted for posts. Intro did for a while, but that was changed ages ago. I think the same thing happened with the test forum when it was deleted. Even tho' posts didn't count in there [anymore], lots of people losts a lot of posts [lots of lots, there] and were quite upset about it.

That sounds...like fun. Let me think on it.

You've really never seen anything of mine before? :: blinks:: Wow. I...huh. I did post something a month or two ago, I guess. Meh. Now I just had to go and find it. and maybe tonight.

I very muchly like it. :)

I should have worded that differently. Your line and it she doesn't take it, then fine. implied that if she didn't take the advice, just let her be. Perhaps that's what you meant, perhaps not. She will do what she decides, you can't stop her, and that's true. But I'm saying, don't just leave her be. Be there for her, even if she's upset because of what happened when she didn't take the advice. Thus the 'I told you so.' part. Hm...I don't know if I made that much clearer.

It was just a comment... And y'all know I had the best possible edit parody when I added the James edit to my sig a while back.
Originally posted by ::Ex-Soldier:: It's her choice. Let her do what she want's. If you're a real friend, you'll give her advice, and it she doesn't take it, then fine.
If you're a real friend, you won't let her do something that will ulitmately hurt her or break her heart. And above all, never say "I told you so."

Are you using your own, or trying to use one from the Boards themselves? To my knowledge, OB's array of avatars is down right now. You can try requesting on in the Avatar request forum if you haven't already. ;)
Originally posted by AJeh What is the difference between the main Christian sects? Pretty out-of-topic, I know, but it's the perfect opportunity to find out.. Thanks
Mostly to do with the sacraments. Catholics have seven sacraments, most Protestants have two, the Lord's Supper is interpreted differently, there are some differences in how to baptize, and a few things seen differently in the Bible. When I was little, and we lived out in a small town around Racine [really small], whenver we'd go to certain places, we'd pass under this railroad bridge. There was a Heathcliffe--you know, the orange cat?--spraypainted on there. I thought it was the coolest thing. It was there for years and years and years, and then a little while ago, the city just took some ugly grey paint and went over the whole thing. Broke my heart.
