Lot's of people seem to be getting me....Should I be worried? [Shy, when were you ever going to do the new one? :p] Erhm. I'd say who I got, but I can't seem to access the page. -
Those are authors, for those of you who don't know it. Anyway, I was wondering who here is a fan of their work? I read The Golden Compass the year it came out, and waited patiently [and not so patiently] for the next two books. [The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass.] The three books make up a trilogy entitled His Dark Materials. I guess it's a cross between science fiction and fantasy, [a bit closer to fantasy] with a bit of an interesting Angels vs. God type conflict in the last book. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in either genre. Pullman also wrote the Sally Lockhart books. [Ruby in the Smoke, etc.] They're more historical fiction/romance/adventure....I don't know really, where to place them. It's been a long time since I last read them. Nix: I read Sabriel a couple years ago, and recently noted that there's a sequel out in stores. Has anyone read either of them? [And is the second as good as I hope it is?] Garth Nix also wrote Shade's Children, another awesome book. I'd call Sabriel fantasy and S/C science fiction. Anyway, all the books listed here are worth checking out, if you're ever on the lookout for a good read. And if anyone's read them, I'd like to talk about them... Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

Just because I have a boring screename here doesn't mean I'm not creative other places.... Random SN's on my list: KaliumH20--> Kalium=Potassium=highly volatile substace that reacts with water. [h20] dysfunctionalspacebar-->My space bar at the time was somewhat less than 100% efficient. Pink Marshmallow Heathen-->Kirby, what else? I have others, those are some of the more amusing ones that I think none of you will recognize.

Well, most of you should know that I'm in drama. Many of you know I'm currently involved in a production, and a handful of you know that we open torrow night. Now, I love acting. I really do. And I know my lines frontwards and back, as does the rest of the cast. [Their lines, I mean. Not mine. Though they prolly know mine, too....] I have never been one prone to stage fright. I don't get nervous before performance. Well, the last thirty seconds before I go onstage are never pretty, but other than that, I've never had a problem. There's no good reason, nor any precedent, for me being stressed, worried, or nervous about Perfomance. So why am I terrified about tomorrow night?

Actually, to be most 'efficient' a mass-spammer wouldn't double-post. He or she would post nonsense threads and replies in as many threads as possible. Harder to clean up after, you see.

Teh...who wants to grow up? [an unnervingly large number of people, that's for sure.] When I was little, I literally spent hours at a stretch, several days a week playing 'never-never-land.' Sometimes my sibs or a friend would join, but mostly it was just me, running around the house and yard, and acting out every part. The only school activity I'm involved in is Drama. But, no. I'm really not fond of the whole 'growing up' concept. I'm terrified of driving. Everyone else I know is thrilled to death to have their driver's license, my parents made me take the class this summer. I hated it with a passion. Driving is the most stressful thing I have ever had to do. My behind-the-wheel instructor had me in tears after every lesson. No, driving is not a good thing...
Originally posted by Mnemolth And a word like respect is at the top of the list.
Where does 'nice' fall? Eh. I'm wary of posting in your threads, I have this inane fear that what I say will come back to haunt me. I don't claim to have respect for everyone. Or if I have, my feelings on the matter have greatly changed. I'm willing to give most anything one a chance. From there, you can lose any semblence of respect I could ever have for you, float somewhere in the middle, or gradually work your way up on Cera's Elite Ladder of Status. Suppose I can respect someone's intelligence and at the same time loathe another aspect of his/her personality. Do I respect this person or not?

That's a wonderful piece of work. Your dry humor and acute sense of irony never fail to make me smile. You really are a terrific writer, and I do enjoy reading what you've posted around here. Tho I don't suppose you need praise from me.

Sorry, Aries. I know you thought you were doing the best thing, but you could prolly tell Yori was a bit ticked to begin with. And while I don't see a thing wrong with your post, if you read it while even slightly stressed, it does sound as tho' you're yelling. Fact is, the thread prolly would've been buried and never seen again. And, well... Eh. I've gone off playing mod again. Best to you all.

Oh, come on. You'd pass up the opportunity to dress up, make a fool of yourself, and walk for three hours straight in freezing October weather, while begging door to door for candy? Me, I love Halloween.

See the thing with me was none of those were secrets. Just things that my IRL friends already knew but not you guys. (In that case, another one of my "secrets" would have to be my name. Well guess what? It's as simple as Annie Bradley. :: opens mouth:: Big whoop. However, if any of you break out into anything from the "Annie" musical, I will find you and kick your arse. Be warned.) :: promptly shuts mouth:: Eh. I had to go through two years of my life being called 'Sara Lee,' and being asked if I'd brought in snack cakes to school. And I randomly break out singing those songs anyway, so there. :p
