2.
How can I eat this... (um, explicit warning? :P)
... Words do not exist to describe how much I was not expecting that.
  3.
For instance, when you think 'McDonalds' you probably think 'Ronald McDonald' and when you think 'Ronald McDonald' you think 'McDonalds'. Now, when you think of the Ham Burgler, you think of McDonalds as well, but not as much in vice-versa. I hope this makes more sense than I'm deriving from it >_< (and yes I'm aware that this analogy is positively begging for stupid replies).
I describe this using Venn Diagrams. In the Venn diagram of life, "Hamburglar" always has associations with McDonald's, but "McDonald's" does not always have associations with Hamburglar.

    Wow...
This place has really changed over the years. Nicer than what it was. So I bet nobody wil remeber me, but I just wanna comment about how this place has changed a for the better obviously. The Fish is Back!
So it has. Welcome back; I remember you. (You might remember me as Cera.) You know what you should do? You should write short article about your history here... or anything else you can remember from back in the day. It's what all the cool kids are doing nowadays. Maybe something about "evil twin" accounts. You had one of those, didn't you?
  5.
And what in hell is ezboard?
... Yes. Exactly.
  6.
Heh, the one thing that was the most annoying was for a while I couldn't highlight and select text for anything like bolding or color. But that seems to have been resolved. Besides, that's just cause I'm lazy and don't want to type in the tags. lol :catgirl:
The tags are sensitive about those things and don't want you to type them. ;)
  7.
Also, my personal favorite addition is that now when you edit your signatre it lets you view your current signature above. If you're like me and have gallons of code in your sig to the point that you can't tell what the hell's going on, this is helpful.
You've been able to "preview signature" and see your signature above the editing box for a very long time.
  8.
Dill pickle slices and mustard pickles that my Mom makes via canning. Those are totally yummy. That and green olives. I just love them. I swear, I'd go into withdrawal if I didn't have those for sandwiches and salads. Or to simply have a few as a snack.
You know what else is really good? Pickled green beans. The mom of one of my old classmates used to make them, and wow were they fun to munch on. I think they're called dilly beans.
  9.
But there are plenty of scholarship opportunities. Check out fastweb.com for some, and also pester the living hell out of your school advisors, and see what turns up.
It's worth pointing out that you want to use a throwaway email address for fastweb. I signed up with them, and my previously pristine inbox was suddenly flooded with all kinds of spam mail. Made me very sad.
  10.
I think not. Rice Krispy Treats Cereal (not to be confused with regular old Rice Krispy cereal) is the absolute greatest. It just sucks for me because they're not sold in any store where I live. Grumble grumble grumble.
I dunno I admit that it's pretty good for a snack, but it's not anything I could eat for breakfast. That much sugar early in the day makes me feel rather unwell. I like all kinds of sweet cereals to munch on, but for breakfast I'll go with something mild like Grape Nuts Flakes, Kix, or Special K.
  11.
This one's a little odd, I admit. Grape Nuts Flakes. Best cereal Evar.
That's quite good. I don't have anything that I would consider an addiction. So as not to be a spoilsport, I'll say that I am awfully fond of Altoids.
  12.
Would you rather... Be raped for hours on end? Or... Be tortured to death after watching your family go through the same thing?
Dear sweet lord. You give me the creeps.
  13.
All right, so usually when I get them I look for pictures first and if they're cute or funny I pass them on. Ones without piccies I normally just delete and then go on with my day, don't think about it much. I mean, I don't have to look at them. Now, one of my friends on Gaia got this chain letter posted in his comment board so in return, put it on mine.
Also: The fact that you pass even a fraction of them on means that you are part of the problem. Stop doing that. =p And tell your friends to stop forwarding that junk to you.
  14. These both generated a lot of hype before/when they came out, so I don't know that they really qualify as being "under the radar," but here's my two cents. Two movies that I think get dismissed too easily are Corpse Bride and Lady in the Water. I don't know how they were received overall, but the people I've talked to seem to have pretty low opinions of them, and I think a lot of that is simply because when they went into the theater, they were expecting something else. Corpse Bride certainly isn't The Nightmare Before Christmas, but it's quite good. The people I went to see it with (who, like everyone in our generation, were huge TNBC fans) were all very disappointed in it, which surprised me, because I had a great time watching the film. I get the same impression with Lady In The Water. Everyone I've talked to who really disliked it complained about "the lame twist," or something along those lines. It's not The Sixth Sense, and it's not meant to be. I thought watching it was a lovely experience?it was a simple story, and one I'm happy to watch multiple times.
  15. I don't listen to a lot of music, and I don't know if I have ever bought a CD for myself... I am trying to find soundtracks for The Prince of Egypt and Hoodwinked, though. I really enjoyed those songs, and I owe my mom a birthday gift.
  16. Nope, not here. There have been questions about this before, though?I'm not sure how those threads were resolved. There may be a possiblity that something like that could be added to the next version of the site. But I'm really not the one who knows those things.
  17. Even if you believe in ghosts, don't worry about it. Ghosts probably have better things to do than spread poorly-written chain letters across the internet. =] Remember that they were just made up by some bored kid looking for kicks.
  18. Wow, what a great reference! That's some really useful information. Thanks for posting it. I have a an art book for Spirited Away, and I'd be happy to scan some images from that. However, my scanner is pretty old and ornery, and when scanning at high resolutions, it tends to badly distort the colors in irregular ways that I can't seem to fix in Photoshop (which seems to defeat the purpose of posting full-color scans). If I can figure out how to fix that (or if I can get access to another scanner) I'll definitely contribute.
  19. I'm connecting to the clouds in your picture. 20. You're lucky Shy was in a good mood, Saikoro. theOtaku hates it when random people start contributing to the site, so they hide the instructions so that no one can possibly find them. Ever.
  21. If you're polite, people will generally be polite to you. If they're not, you get to complain about them on the internet! It's like the circle of life, or something.
  22.
Truth be told, it's fun to read your posts. There are usually some interesting ideas there, at least from what I can discern. Unfortunately, you also ramble and lose focus. Good times though.
You actually read them?
  23. You people are glossing over all kinds of subtle nuances in scene kid fashion.
