A couple years ago, in a fit of boredom, I developed my own language....most of the words were basic vocabulary....something you'd expect to see in a Beginner Book. But it was fun....I still have it about somewhere.... Also, I can recognize a great deal of Elvish words in Tolkien....because I spend way too much time looking at the appendices...anyway! And I take German in school, way fun, way easy. [/FONT]

It may just be me, but I think that depending on pills to keep me from depression would simply depress me in and of itself. Therapy isn't necessarily a bad thing. But you won't get anything out of it if you don't put anything in. If you plan on being dark and contrary through the sessions, don't bother going, because it won't help. If you can try and be at least semi-open to them, they may well help you. Think about it, okay?[/FONT]

Yes, we crazy Americans.... When I was in second grade, I was deep into Tolkien's [i]The Hobbit[/i]. We had spelling tests back then....we were required to know how to spell such and such an amount of words.... On one occasion, two of them were "favorite" and "color." I put in the extra [i]u[/i]s, and ended up getting a fifty percent on my spelling quiz.... I was [i]most[/i] upset.... And as for the problem at the beginning of this thread....it made me laugh, a little. Not in a derogatory way or anything, but simply because I could identify with the situation. Although I've not had any close friends that minded large words, I used to annoy the heck out of the rest of my classmates...great fun, that was.... Once I hit high school, I started hanging out with more freaks like me. It's quite fun. :p[/FONT]
