Originally posted by Final_Flash Ahh yes, It was James.. I remember it well, it was quite possibly one of the funniest things I did all that week...
Heh, that was hilarious.... Although i remember being a bit ticked, because either that thread or the one that had inspired it got closed...and all the supermods and admins were still posting in it....that wasn't fair....I wanna be able to post in closed topics!! :bawl: -
Originally posted by Warlock I know how you fell Flash...it's only about 42 hours and 5 minutes until I start High School...unfortunately I'm hardly a man, not even a teenager, so I guess I better break down and cry. *Starts crying, but then stops when he notices everyone looking at him slightly weirdly* Um...I think I'll leave...*jumps out the window*
I sure hope you were on the first floor.....

::looks amused:: Poor kuja.... My computer can't read the file, so I guess I'm safe. :p
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve Naw, Navi would be one of the few to stay.... People like you would be some of the first to go... with your inability to speak propor english... and with that I can tell Navi is exceptionally smarter than you. I'm sure you know propor english, but it's the fact you choose not to speak it that makes you even more stupid. And no, I wasn't messing around... stupid people deserve to die... I'm not being a terrorist, I'm helping to make the world a better place.
I remember a while back when you said that... about only letting fifteen people live, or something to that effect....people kept asking if they'd be one of the ones you didn't kill.....that was great....
Originally posted by Shyguy I'll marry you Cera, it will be fun. We can have a digimon theme wedding, I will dress as Tai and you can be Mimi!
Awww! That's sweet of ya.
Originally posted by Shyguy Oh wait, I am turning into kuja aren't I? Ahhhh! *Shyguy puts himself in the insane asylum*
It's okay, buddy--I'll come an visit you on alternate weekends, or something.....
Originally posted by SSJ5 Vegeta the real killers are the quiet stone cold people that don't say anything, just stare right through you when you mention killing. Quiet people are the one's you gotta' watch out for.
Well, gee. I guess being a murderer is right up my alley, then. Of course, I'm basing that entirely on your vast personal experince with killers and their character traits.
Originally posted by Navi If I were a straight guy I'd want to marry you!
Gee...thanks. :whoops:

It rules in a thoroughly ruling way...
And here I'm nearly jealous.... Course, it'd be a drive, going up to milwakee every morning....but it's not that far away...
Originally posted by Shyguy Oh how sad Cera, you should go. You have to go to at least one dance while you are in high school. Even if you don't have a date... or worse, if your date is insane. Did I ever tell you that story Cera? I think you would find it very intresting.
No, you havent..... I just don't like the whole buy-some-fancy-uncomfortable-dress-and-spend-hours-doing-this-wretched-long-thick-hair-and-God-forbid-I-should-ever-wear-make-up-for-anything-but-stage-productions. Girl at school wants me to go just so she can play with my hair beforehand. Oy... I know a few people what would pass out on the floor if they saw me at a dance...I'm somewhat notorious for not doing social gigs. Besides, I don't dance...I' m about as coordinated as a rock; I'd probably end up killing myself. People are going on and on about their dresses and how beautiful they'll be, and what just the right color of eyeshadow they found at the mall last friday, and it's just funny to me. Such a big deal about fancy dresses for one silly dance....it's not Prom, it's just this thing Student Council does. I should show up in raggy jeans and a sweatshirt. Now that would be funny....

There is a history teacher....somewhere in this world....who told his first hour World History class that Shakespeare lived in ancient Greece....who could not figure out that the Pythagorean Theorem needs a right triangle, and believed that a+b=c, not a^2+b^2=c^2.....who ridiculed a student for being unable to find a small oriental country on a map, and then could not find it himself....who told said first hour class that thread is made on looms....and other gems of wisdom.....

Books, Comics, and Threads that've made you laugh out loud

Calvin and Hobbes make me laugh. And yes, the fact that there are five--my friend says he has a sixth, about Zaphod?--books in the HHGTTG Trilogy is beautiful. -
I love my little school. We're parochial--Lutheran. Less than five hundred people, but that's just a guess. I do know that most public schools in our area have freshman classes larger than our entire school population. We have a pretty good selection of classes for a school our size. Everyone knows everyone else, every teacher knows every student's name. It's a close-knit little community. When stuff happens--Like K having her sledding accident--the whole school is affected. As much as I can't stand some people there, my crew of weirdo-friends makes it worthwhile. ;) So I like my school.

I don't wear contacts, although i may well end up wearing glasses before the end of this year....
-
We have Prom much later in the year, our upcoming dance is simply "Winter Formal." Not my type of thing; I shan't be going.

I had that problem at hotmail, as well. Drove me crazy. My solution? I got a new email, and didn't give it out to anyone but friends and family. I use the old email for instances when an email address is required to sign up for something or activate an account somewhere, or whatnot. That way I don't end up with any commerical emails in my "good" inbox.

I've had standardized testing ever since i can remember.... CAT tests.... Pre-ACTs....PLAN....NC-somethings.....

Let's see. I was born on my dad's birthday. My younger brother was born on Halloween. My other younger brother was born on Easter. [Granted, that varies from year to year.] My sister was born on my great-grandmother's birthday. One of my cousins was born on Thanksgiving. [Again, that varies from year to year.] And another cousin was born on Valentine's Day. 'Tis all, for now. -Cera
Originally posted by Shyguy I still like the idea, there are quite a few people I would like to meet in person, mainly my digimon crew. Ginny and Cera together in real life? I can't even begin to imagine the kind of trouble they would get into. ;)
::cough::cough:: Trouble? Us? Trouble?!? Surely you jest. heh... My dad actually asked me once if Gin and I were planning any sort of meeting...the thought hadn't even crossed my mind, at that point in time...Methinks my father trusts me not.... I agree, there are some people I'd like to meet....but hardly all of ya. ;)
Originally posted by PiroMunkie I'm standing up for what I believe by sitting down

Originally posted by Crazy White Boy I think I saluted it because it represents a country that actually gives people the right to sit down.
It's rather strange....you two seem to be saying the same thing, yet react in entirely different ways. I just think that's cool. I did go to a public school for the first few years of my school career. They taught us the words to the Pledge. Of course, you learned it in Kindergarten, when the words mean nothing. "Allegiance"..."Republic"..."Indivisible"... Big words for little kids. By the time you're old enough to know the definitions of the words--whether that be second, fifth, or eighth grade--you've been saying them for so long, it's just automatic. So maybe your whole life you've been saying this without ever really taking in what it means. Maybe, if you think about it, it means something really deep and special to you. Maybe, if you think about it, it means nothing. Maybe you've been reciting something that you just now realize is a culmination of what America means to you. Maybe you've been saying something for your whole life that you totally disagree with. I don't know, it's just something I've been pondering since we said the Pledge as a school after September 11. It was strange to me...most people had probably not said it since early grade school. Everyone was rusty, straining to remember the words. It just made me wonder, I guess. -Cera

Hey, you know we're behind you 300%. I'll be praying for you. Best, Cera

I love that song....Another one by DC Talk I like is My friend (So Long...). My Theology teacher has Musical Devotions everyday...basically, Theo II is a Contemporary Christian Music Appreciation Class. I halfway expect it to be renamed.... We watch music videos, read devos by Michael W. Smith, listen to every type of Christian music I didn't even know existed.... But I love it!

I go to a school with required weekly Chapel attendance and daily devotions, so I guess it's not really my place to say, huh?

Cera's hand went to her throat, where the blade had been. Dazed, she watched as Ben turned from Kazuya again. "Now go. Do it right this time," Ben snarled. And disappeared. Kazuya threw a sullen glance to where Ben had stood a moment before, but nodded. He began advancing again. Lyrdramon was suddenly at Cera's side, eyes sparking with rage. Kazuya looked at her condescendingly. "Out of the way, foolish one. It is not your child I want." "You shall not pass," Lydramon growled at him. Kazuya's eyes narrowed. "Move aside." "No." From somewhere behind them, Ginny gave a strangled cry. Snapped out of her daze, Cera spun around. "Ginny! Amanda! Get out of here! Run!" Kazuya attacked.
